We've been to Summit Pub twice now. The food was decent, but unfortunately the service was disappointing both times. We had the same server, Lexi, on both visits, and she seemed more annoyed that we were there than welcoming. I'm not expecting anyone to be overly cheerful, but when you're paying for a service, you shouldn't feel like you're a bother simply for being a customer. The consistency of the experience on both visits was what concerned me most. Hopefully management takes a look at the customer service, because the food is decent and the experience could be much better read more

The atmosphere is dark and private which is what I'd expect from a bar. Service is leisurely, but if you go in knowing what to expect, all will be good. We ate mid-afternoon and were surprised to see it about half full. Bar food here is really good. Husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries and I enjoyed a salad. Next time, I'm ordering a burger. It was charred on the outside and juicy with every bite. Condiments were fresh and plentiful. The fries were crispy and hot. My Asian salad was respectable. Portion size was ample. read more

Came into here on a Friday night 09/11 to karaoke heard it was a great spot! and the karaoke host was so good it seemed the bar tenders was not fw the Karaoke at first but the host handled it well and we got to sing that night thank god! it was the only reason we came thru if she's here we'll come back! My fiancé and I came in last night, impromptu, when driving home from an appointment. It's been on my list of places to try for a while, but we rarely drink anymore so an opportunity hasn't come up. It didn't disappoint. The bar is much larger on the inside than the outside suggests. There's a decent amount of high top tables and a welcoming wraparound bar with seating and hooks underneath for purses. The place was pretty full so we saddled up to the bar. There's several TVs for watching sports. We forgot to ask if they do fight night nights, but if they do, we would go. There's a couple pool tables and a golf game as well. Pull tabs available. Staff is friendly and efficient. We weren't in long, but everyone had something nice to say in welcoming. My fiancé had the Meatloaf Monday special and said it was good -he had enough for leftovers. I had a cup of the tomato soup and a half Man salad. I was full after the soup and brought my salad home, which I ate for lunch today. I asked if the soup was made in house or came from a box, because it was just so delicious and I was told that the vast majority of the food was made in-house. I like that. You can taste the difference. We did each have a beer, which was ice cold off the taps. Probably why we got full fast. Good selection of tap beers. This isn't our local pub, but we would go back for sure to try some more off the menu. It's a nice clean place with a good crowd and better food. This place is my go to. Great service and has excellent food. Im a regular for foir to go orders. Its always been good, even the dill pickle has been wrapped to keep the juice from migrating to everything in the box. Something has changed. Maybe a new employee? Or a new policy has occurred. I like pickles, but now its just thrown in with the tots and everything, its not separated. As much as I like pickles, it creates a flavor mix and soggy foods. I hate posting bad reviews, especially for places I've constantly enjoyed. I don't know what has changed except it has definitely changed. I am hoping my post creates an awareness to bring back the consistency this place has always had. I have additional food experiences that I'd like the management to be aware of, but I will not post them on this venue. Of all the gin joints in all the land, this one is the closest to my place. I can't speak to the dine in experience as it was really busy and I just got food to go but the bartendress seemed nice and place has an overall cool ambiance. A little loud and crowded but it's a pub and I went at night so that's expected. I ordered the jalapeño Mac n cheese summit balls and an order of Jo's. I wasn't super impressed with the summit balls... they weren't terrible but they were just okay. I'd order something different next time. The Jo's however were better than the ones at Albertsons deli and they're GINORMOUS !! Definitely get those here if you're having a potato craving. At nearly $20 for my two items I felt it was overpriced but upon looking at the size of the Jo's and then trying one I thought.. well perhaps it's not quite as overpriced as I thought. I'll come back sometime to sit down, have a drink and maybe try a burger off their menu.. or a breakfast item if I can stop by early enough for that. read more

They have a horrible janitor service working for them. They clean the bar with dirty unsanitary rags, same mophead for 7 days straight. I'm sure it's a great bar just very nasty due to cleaning crew. read more

This is very sad, we came on a busy Saturday... very busy. Waited for a table to clear and ordered drinks. The drink I ordered was vodka soda and it tasted like mildew smells, gross! I ordered a bloody Mary, ok but I've had better and still had the nasty taste of mildew from the last drink, a huge turn off! We ordered from the breakfast menu, we were told only 15 minutes left to order from this menu. So we ordered, literally we began asking "how long does it take to make breakfast?" Well, an hour 1/2 later here arrives our cold breakfast... oh I don't exaggerate! We sent the food back and asked for our tab. Sad, because the food is typically great, but we're not going to eat cold bacon and eggs! If we do return, it will be a long time. Even though this is a staple in town it just gets harder and harder to enjoy coming here. The food is what it is and the pizza is great. Seems like unless Kristyn is waiting on you the service just drags. No matter where you sit it takes so long to get drinks or put a food order in unless you are a favorite or whomever is working. I always see Kristyn working so hard while the other waitresses jabber jaw. Had a nice lunch at the new 'Summit Pub'. I've gotten food here a couple of times, but it was always to go. The Menu has some of the Pub's favorites, sandwiches, burgers etc. my favorite meal is the Southwest Chicken sandwich which comes with a choice of sides, I always get the tots. The Southwest Chicken sandwich has fajita chicken, tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, onions, guacamole. I also get jalapeño added. So delicious. I also tried the Summit Balls, bacisally deep fried balls of goodness. I tried the jalapeño Mac and cheese. They also had Rueben, Will have to try it out. Washed it all down with a nice IPA. I really like this location as well, the old location was run down with no parking and the bathrooms were a disaster. The new location has a ton of parking, the interior is great and the bathrooms are in much better shape. So glad a place like this exists on Canyon Road. Not many places where you can sit down and enjoy a good burger in the canyon/summit area. read more

Perfectly packed 1/2 Reuben sandwich with condiments separately packed including pub chips so they wouldn't get soggy. Very thoughtful & the food is so tasty. I do not recommend this place if you're a person of color. Last night I experienced one of the most heartbreaking experiences to the point I had to close my tab and leave. Whoever that guy is that wears tank tops and the girl with short semi wavy hair and also the girl with the long pony tail and tattoos, avoid them at all costs. At first I thought they were just busy but biases were confirmed when I was standing at the bar waiting and the guy with the tank top asked folks around me and behind for their orders, took trash out, grabbed more glasses, washed his hands, delivered food, took for orders around me and finally it took for the other girl with longer curly hair to notice me waiting to ask for my order and the guy finally made it. Again, I was closing my tab and the avoidant behavior from several folks happened. I'm never one to throw the race card but obviously, something caused tension for folks to openly avoid me and not serve me. Not to mention no one came to our table to ask if we needed anything but looking around, other folks were receiving table side service. It was embarrassing and hurtful. read more

We eat here just about once a week. We haven't ventured out much throughout the menu because we have found the things we really enjoy! My fiancé always orders the fried chicken and Joe's basket. He LOVES it. Definitely enough after he fills himself up, for left overs & that is saying a lot for him. I toggle between two items. I either get the fish & chips basket or the fish sandwich. So freaking good! If I had to choose between the two I would definitely choose the fish sandwich. If you are considering eating here, do it! read more
