Take my money! Mauritius Tea in University Place has become my new favorite sweet treat spot. We got the Oreo and mango bingsoo - both airy, flavorful, and so satisfying. And the Dubai chocolate croffle was crispy, buttery, and pure dessert decadence. The vibes were clean and cozy, the staff were super friendly, and I already have my eye on their smoothies for next time. Mauritius Tea, you officially won me over!
Cute little shop with bench and stool seating. There isn't ample seating but we didn't have an issue getting a table. It seemed like the majority of people who came in were taking their drinks and food to go. This place also had a drive thru which was neat to see as I feel it isn't very common. The folks working the front were friendly and helpful with our questions. I got the lychee-ade. It was light and bubbly but it wasn't quite what I was expecting it to taste like. The banana Nutella croffle was GREAT. It was crisp and had a nice balance with the toppings. I thought the cream was whipped cream but it had a little cheese taste to it which I really enjoyed. I would like to come back and try their other croffles and a milk tea or coffee.
Love that they have the option of drive thru! Price is actually decent, all things considered. Strawberry matcha with coconut jelly was maybe $6.75. Service was great- welcomed and greeted by both workers and drink was done in a timely manner and brought out to our table. Store was relatively clean, small. Bathroom door lock doesn't work. Would recommend.
Cute little Korean spot for tea/coffee/desserts! Came by and wanted to try something new and was recommended the iced chestnut cream latte and it was really good! I watched as the barista carefully measured various ingredients and made it. Had a nice flavor and was not too sweet. I'll need to come back to try their desserts!

There isn't a lot of seating so might recommend the drive thru (also how cool!!!) The owners are SO nice and sweet and patient with customers. They loved hearing customers thoughts on their orders to make sure it was up to our liking. We ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberry cups and brown sugar milk tea (their special) and both were sooooo delicious. Will be coming back every time i come to UP! They also have croffles with so many topping options, salivating thinking about it. We didn't order any but will be a must-order next time!
I've been to Mauritius about four times. The first few times was at their grand opening. I thought the concept of opening a Korean bubble tea spot was unique. The space is on the smaller side but has a good amount of seating. They even have a drive through. I tried their misugaru which was definitely interesting and something I haven't tried before. The consistency was thicker and had a nutty taste. The other time I ordered a banana milk but it didn't suite my tastes. I also had the Mauritius tea which was pretty tasty. The service at the time of their opening was more welcoming and staff was more open to give feedback about the drinks. I came recently with a coworker to get an after work treat. I ordered the banana croffle to share and a Dubai chocolate strawberry. My coworker had ordered a few other drinks such as the royal milk tea, grape ade spritzer, and the Mauritius special. We both tried a taste of the grape ade spritzer but didn't enjoy the taste of it. I enjoyed the banana croffle and my coworker said that it tastes better than other local shops with croffle. I thought the dubai chocolate was ok since I don't enjoy the whipped chocolate consistency and preferred the shell/melted chocolate type, but worth the try if you wanted to experience what Dubai chocolate tastes like. Overall, I had a mix bag of likes and dislikes here. I think it worth a try overall.
Korean owned business! The couple there are so kind! Great desserts and so many yummy treats to choose from. The dessert takes a bit of time for it to come out. The place is cutesy and good for little hang outs + just to chat while eating dessert :)
My family & I had a beautiful Mauritius Tea experience our drinks were delicious & was prepared in a timely manner. We also ordered the strawberry croffle & it was as yummy as it looked! Extra stars for friendly staff and customer service! My daughter was feeling a little blue & was getting teary eyed & one of the workers gave her a little teddy bear! Cheered her right up. He even found an extra bear for her baby brother. SO KIND!!!

Long over due review. Their fruit tea drinks are very refreshing. They offer all kinds of fruit tea, milk tea, blended drinks that could be desserts, shaved ice, sweet and savory croffels and now the dubai chocolate strawberry cup. There's some seating on the inside, maybe only a few tables, but what makes this place more unique is they have a drive thru.
Cute little boba shop in UP! They conveniently have a drive thru. They have some uncommon options such as corn, misugaru, dalgona, and banana! I got the misugaru with corn foam and it was comforting, reminded me of something I had in my azn childhood. And not too sweet! Service was friendly and quick. They have punch cards!
I stopped by this boba shop and tried the strawberry shaved ice, it was delicious! The texture was light and fluffy, and the strawberry flavor was perfect. Their fruit drinks are also very refreshing and replicate the Korean flavors. I want to try their coffee next time. I'm looking forward to the butterscotch cold foam. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I loved how cozy it was. I shared a table while waiting for my drink, and even if you come alone you could find a friend here. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy a treat. I'll be back to try more from the menu and I'll take some pics to upload! I went back today and the croffles did not disappoint (lotus & s'mores were amazing), pics attached.
In the area, we decided to try a new drink spot. I thought it was going to be something different. It was a Korean milk tea joint. It is nice and clean with a fresh look. Everything looked so brand new. Even the service seemed new. The staff were nice. My husband and I liked our drink choices but they auto chose MY size just because my husband chose his. Didn't get a confirmation of sizes so I was surprised seeing how large the drink was. Not sure that I would necessarily go out of my way to stop in but I may give it another try. Note: the restroom is right in front, near the drink area.

We ordered the mango bingsoo which was delicious, I would come back just for that alone! I also ordered a taro smoothie which is the best I've ever had. Friendly workers and nice environment, I will definitely be back! read more
I specifically went here for the bingsoo and their machine was down so that was disappointing. Got the ube strawberry milk, it was good. The seating area is so small, and it was so loud. Definitely not a cute lil cafe to do your work. They do have a drive thru. And the owners were nice and asked us if we needed wifi. If you're nearby, it might be worth picking something up. But idk if it's worth going out of my way for it. read more

I've tried this place five times the first time it was OK second time too sweet third time not sweet enough fourth time OK fifth time I asked for half sweet. The bottom was completely full of thick syrup sweet sugar that is stuck to the tapioca made me almost throw up all right. I tried my best to let this place. In the staff is always very friendly. Yes it takes a while to get the tea, but I'm OK with waiting. read more

My family & I had a beautiful Mauritius Tea experience our drinks were delicious & was prepared in a timely manner. We also ordered the strawberry croffle & it was as yummy as it looked! Extra stars for friendly staff and customer service! My daughter was feeling a little blue & was getting teary eyed & one of the workers gave her a little teddy bear! Cheered her right up. A new Korean cafe that recently opened in University Plate with drive thru services! I didn't realize it was drive thru until after we left, but that makes it convenient for those who don't have time to go inside. The cafe is pretty small, but not cluttered. The staff seem pretty friendly and well recognized with the community. My sister and I ordered the Piggy Bar Smoothie Garden $7.50 and Matcha Smoothie $7.00. No special adjustments to our drinks. The drinks were made fairly quickly. We typically don't get smoothies, but these were a good consistency. Not icy like a slush drink and not too runny where it just becomes a milk tea. Definitely needed to sip on them slowly to avoid getting a brain freeze! Hoping to come again in the near future to try other items on their menu! read more

I recently came back from South Korea and was missing the excellent coffee culture there. When I saw the sign for Korean Premium Milk Tea, I HAD to try it, and this place did not disappoint! The vibe is simple, modern, clean. The drink menu and croffles are THE BEST. I bring friends here all they time, and they love this place! The staff is wonderful, and Brian the manager is great! The drinks are excellent! I always order the Banana Korean Coffee. It sounds weird, but I'm addicted to it because it's delicious. The croffles (croissant waffles) are work of art desserts AND delicious. My favorites are strawberry chocolate and banana Nutella. This place reminds me of the wonderful coffee places in Korea--where you relax having great drinks and great food with friends in a lovely atmosphere. Enjoy read more

100/10. Came for the bingsoo and it was 100% worth it. Came back a second time for it. The mango is perfectly sweet with an amazing sauce. The mochis are soft and the ice cream is delicious and the matcha was fantastic as well. The staff also gave us croffle to try and it was amazing. Perfectly crunchy, buttery, sweet, the fruit fresh and cream was good in the croffle as well. A bit of a drive, but will for sure keep coming back. See y'all next week! read more

We were craving a local treat and we sure found it here at Mauritius Tea! The coffee was delicious! Hot and iced both full of flavor! Service was great, we were welcomed in offered food and drink options. The guy that helped us was super! Very kind and knowledgeable! There was music playing, giving an upbeat vibe to the shop. Many options of the Croffle, now I want to try them all! Love bubble tea and the story behind the sugar they use! Definitely have to check this place out! People are super friendly. My tea tasted great. Ambiance is great! Very cute. One thing I would like to change is taste and texture of boba. It wasn't great. Maybe boba is not fully cooked? A little too chewy. read more

I ordered the Spain Flat Peach ade and the Royal Milk Tea. Both drinks were very good and refreshing. They both weren't too sweet, which is great, even though I didn't request to make it less sweet. The service was great. Both staff there were nice and friendly. The ambiance of the shop was nicely decorated in a simple way. I highly recommend this bubble tea shop if you are in the University Place area. read more
Super cute Korean cafe in UP! Tried the injolmi smoothie, blueberry smoothie and their lychee ade. All very delicious! In the photo is the injolmi and blueberry smoothie, it's the traditional Korean shaved ice dessert but in a cup! Both super good! Didn't get the lychee ade in the photo because we drank it so fast haha. Definitely would recommend trying this place out, friendly staff and efficient service! read more

I love when cafes are so neat and pretty! This cafe is the best example of how keeping things clean and using plants to decorate creates the best ambiance! The food matched the picturesque surroundings making it a lovely experience. The people were fast, efficient and very friendly! Me and my friend loved our food but I have some critiques... the Croffle was cooked a bit long so it was both hard to cut into and eat. The flavoring for both was extraordinary but the tough texture made it fall short. As for the Dubai strawberry cup, the chocolate cream twist on it is very creative however there is too much of it and the other components have no room to shine. I have no comment on the smoothies, they were amazing and the tapioca was perfectly done! read more

They opened today and part of their Grand Opening was BOGO on all the milk teas. The store has a cute, clean, white aesthetic and seating both inside and outside. There is a HUGE menu. I got Hibiscus, less ice, 0 sugar and honey boba and the Rooibos, with the same customization. The milk teas stayed true to their tea flavors, and weren't diluted by the milk. The rooibos was my favorite because there was the distinctive rooibos finishing flavor. The honey boba syrup was the right add to my 0 sugar drinks, giving them just a slight sweetness. All in all, delicious, quality, thirst-quenching boba milk tea addition to UP! And I forgot to mention - they have a DRIVE THRU order lane as well. Where else have you EVER seen that? :D I think I may have a contender for my new favorite... read more
