From the moment I walked in, the space felt clean, well kept, and thoughtfully put together. There's a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay a bit longer rather than just grab and go. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive. Now to the drink the banana pudding matcha was the highlight. It struck a great balance smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The banana flavor came through naturally without overpowering the matcha, which still held its earthy, rich profile. You can tell care went into crafting it. Overall, a solid experience. For me this place has been on point! Granted I only come in when it is later or early in the day, and on a weekday. The drinks are made fresh to order, and how wonderful to find a place that makes matcha how it should! By hand my friend, not from a box or a package. I tend to find what I like and stick to it but I have notice that not all the workers are as consistent as the owner, which is to be expected. I do agree with the other reviewer, if this drink spot wants to go viral and would like more attention than the owner(s) has to be present when all drinks are being made. When you're running a business this can take a toll on the mind after a while. I am also a business owner and no one likes having someone look over their shoulder while working and no one likes a Micro manager. I can tell the owner takes time to explain, show and instruct exactly how to create each drink, but it is up to the staff to maintain the same level of expectancy. Clean, minimalistic cafe with easy parking. Convenient location being near other plazas as well. Menu wasn't too big which is a plus, as this lets them master their craft. Staff was super friendly and welcoming! They even offered to remake drinks if sugar was off. Complaints are just no ice adjustments were shown on the kiosk their sugar adjustment is just "less sugar" but multiple selections allowed, which isn't quite clear. Doesn't help with understanding sugar levels with respect to each other and not clear how to get zero added sugar. Pistachio Matcha w/ Boba - matcha was very smooth! Pistachio flavor specifically wasn't exactly strong but there was a very present nuttiness. Overall a creamy blend with strong balanced flavors. Boba was fantastic (detailed below). Oolong Tea Milk Tea w/ Boba - a slight roasted oolong but overall good flavor, decent tea. Pretty classic and met expectations. Boba was wonderful, fresh with a beautiful bounce. Plus marinated in sugar well, so every chew was flavorful. As noted above, downside is the less sugar option is still pretty sweet. read more

From Bubble Island to Boba T Island, and now to Sen Boba. It looks like it's under new-ownership, but I am not entirely sure. It is even more minimalist decorated inside. It is very well lit inside and pretty quiet. There is a self ordering kiosk, as well as a regular one for an employee to assist you if needed! The menu is catered to more elevated matcha and milk tea drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Cloud and my sister ordered the Taro Purple Cloud. The quality of the drinks are great! Such a cute place. The service is exceptional. We ordered the taro purple cloud and the pistachio matcha. They use real taro. They steam the taro and you can still feel the bits in your mouth. I love it. The matcha is rich. They hand whisk their matcha so you're not getting any artificial sugary drinks. If you're a REAL matcha lover, you will love the earthiness of their matcha. If you want the sweet ones you could typically get from artificial fructose that other places offer, just let them know you want more cream. They usually add cold foam to make it sweeter. Wanted to try a new matcha place since I'm a matchaholic, the staff were so nice in explaining and even checked in on my friend and I when we tried the drinks and were chilling there early Sunday. In terms of the drinks, matcha was very grainy and somewhat clumpy afterwards which I don't personally like. The pistachio matcha was decent and I enjoyed the nutty flavor that made the matcha smoother so it was a complimentary flavor combo. My friend on the other hand had the banana pudding matcha which was too sweet for us both, and the ratio of drink to banana cream on top was not balanced. If it was less sweet, less cream and ice to ratio of the actual matcha drink we would have liked it better. The banana taste seemed very artificial as well. But the esthetic of the cafe was cute and clean, seems like a nice spot for friends to hang out and relatively clean. Location had plenty of parking. With no matcha competitors nearby, this place has potential, they also have Vietnamese coffee, smoothies and milk teas as well so maybe those might be better.
