I start with five stars and deduct from there. I ordered the "Rainbow." That's a banana, strawberry, and mango smoothie. Great consistency, flavor and sweetness. I don't care much for boba but I think you can add it if you want. If you notice in the pic I uploaded the lid is a plastic film instead of a normal plastic lid. I understand it's better for the environment but I don't like getting splashed buy puréed fruit. They provide you with a plastic straw with a pointed tip to break through the plastic film but it just bends as you push. Eventually it breaks through splashing your hand with smoothie. They have to think of a better way; minus one star (4 stars). I would patron again. read more

Definitely a 3 star establishment. Price is high and just a place to get boba in the mall. Boba itself was hard and not extremely chewy. I enjoyed the mango black tea that I got. It wasn't extremely sweet. The Thai tea is gross. Not sweet and was more milky and watery. I was there in a Monday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. read more

Ordered a Mango Pineapple smoothie with Lychee jelly, super delicious! The worker there was this super nice young girl, she was very attentive and made sure she got my order correct, I will be coming back! read more

Loved their drinks! A pretty popular spot at the mall. The young man working behind the counter was alone and was making drinks super fast. Our drinks were perfect. Not overly sweet like a lot of places can be. They have lots of drink options and flavor. A must try if at the mall. read more

Big Orange Bubble Tea - Vanilla boba tea large - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Tukwila, Washington

Big easy menu to follow, if you have questions one of the pretty ladies will tell you what you need to know. And the cheapest and fastest boba tea I have had so far. Amanda helped me out in differentiating fresh fruit from fresh fruit smoothie. So basically fresh fruit is "fruit slushie" and the other has dairy. How easy is that? Anyways, I ordered the pineapple watermelon fresh fruit. By the time I walked to the end of the counter they were done making it! Impressive. I like my boba chilled and a bit chewy so they passed the test! I would give them 5 stars but my boba tea was not filled to the top and there is no punch card here, so it is just one of the very few cons of this shop. Other than that I will be back! read more

One of the patterns I do when visiting Southcenter Mall to run my errands is getting boba at Big Orange Bubble Tea. Their small kiosk is located somewhat hidden on the outer part of the food court area on the second floor of the mall. I typically either get a Taro slush or Rainbow (a mix of fruits) with boba here. You can opt for a regular size or upgrade for a larger size for about $0.50 more (exc. tax). They also charge $0.50 extra for boba/jelly toppings, too. Their boba drinks are ok to satisfy my constant craving for boba, but it is not anything to rave home about either. What's consistent about Big Orange though is the seemingly ok-to-bad service mindset of the people who man the kiosk. They seemed annoyed and not as pleasant to place your order with. Honestly, I don't have many choices other than to go to another place in the mall that's slightly even more hidden than this place is...so I typically ended up getting my boba fix from here if I really craved it. If I had a choice, especially when there's a long line + moody faces of cashier/boba maker, then I sometimes just simply opted out of getting anything from this place completely. read more

Yelp Eh..? Meet Big Orange Bubble Tea from British Columbia Canada, this is their first location in the USA! Just recently opened in the Southcenter Mall, located top floor food court across from Red Mango. They offer both fresh fruit bubble teas and traditional regular bubble teas. Lots of Unique Fresh Flavors! The Taro Coconut is my Favorite! They also serve Fresh Tree-ripened sweet mangos blended with crushed ice =P Frozen Mangos Suck!! 3 star Yelp rating due to the initial startup blues....very slow production of drinks. You can see slight tension between the workers..sometimes you can see their smiles though! =) They need to staff more Bubble Blendtenders!! If they can't keep up, their Bubble's going to Burst BooM!!! It is in a very high profile traffic area. Hopefully things will improve! Good Quality BoBa Overall. Look for an updated review soon. read more

They have many choices for bubble tea, smoothies and fresh squeezed juices. It's conveniently located by the food court. We've been here a few times and the drinks have been good. It can be slow if there's only one person working. Prices are comparable to the other bubble tea places in the mall. read more

Oh my lanta, How delicious my bubble tea was! I was craving one of these, and walked through the entire mall to get to it. I asked what the most popular flavor was, and was told the Taro bubble tea, so I tried it out-tapioca included. A sudden burst of flavor in my mouth! Gosh, so yummy! Highly recommend! Gave it 4 stars because of its location in the mall (inconvenient) and the customer service could've been better. Smile ladies, show some enthusiasm! read more

Yum , add ice cream. Get smoothie. Slush isn't that good..... it's like frozen water mixed with flavor. But this place is still Great!

$6.33 for juice! I never paid for a drink that was $6.33 unless it had alcohol in it. I wanted straight up pineapple juice but the employee said that they don't have pineapple juice unless it was pineapple with apple juice or pineapple with orange juice. Okay whatever. What I should really have done was walk away. I had two chances to walk away. The first opportunity... 1.) Being told that they don't have pineapple juice (I should have walked away) 2.) Fresh fruit wasn't being used (apples that were not freshly cut but appeared old, bruised, and brownish) and frozen pineapples sticks. Yeah, it looked like long frozen cubes of pineapple flesh. I should have definitely walked away but I was 100% in it already Okay, I told her I'll take a large pineapple with apple juice. I think I also got charged for ice. What I ended up getting was mainly foam, some apple juice at the bottom of the cup and what I was expecting was you guessed it, pineapples! Well my tongue did not taste any pineapple flavor. I got shafted. I think it would have been okay if my tongue tasted some alcohol but instead I got a lot of foam and a lot of air inside my $6.33 cup. Employees were polite and the wait wasn't bad but I think next time I'll just buy some pineapple juice at the supermarket. read more

I was thirsty after dropping some dough shopping for clothes at the mall and was feeling like some good ol' bubble tea. I got the honey milk black tea with boba. I actually liked it-the tea was good and the boba was really soft & chewy. They also have fresh fruit smoothies. It's located in the food court. Service was pretty slow as there was only one person working at the time I came. I would come back for some bubble tea when I'm in the area. read more

Slow service. Messed up our order and was missing a drink. Near where the drinks are picked up, the closest sink you can see over the counter is gross and not clean. My drink was covered in syrup and I had to use a handful of napkins just to clean off my cup from all the syrupy mess! Methinks not. Never again. read more

This place is ok. Service is friendly, they even waited for me to finish writing my review so I could get the yelp discount. We got the black milk tea and green milk tea with boba. Yummy! I love this place :) I got a green tea peach with boba. Its the way I test to see if they are good or not. AND THEY ARE. It's pretty cool that Southcenter has a couple of bubble tea places. This one is kinda pricey, cost me 5 bucks. I got a watermelon fruit slushie thing; it was ok. It's very convenient, on the second floor near the food court. The one thing that kinda sucked was how slow it was. There was only one girl working so she had to both take orders and also make the drinks. I was surprised that they only had one person working on a Friday, but later two other girls showed up. I think one had been getting supplies and another was on a break. But then they took their sweet time getting back to work, kinda just slowly restocking while the other girl was still taking care of everything by therself. Management should probably get on top of this a little better. read more

This place sucks. When I bit into the tapioca pearls all I got was hard, gross powdery gunk in my mouth. The milk tea and the flavored green and black teas just taste like artificial syrup. Also, the workers are rude. I mean... You work at a boba kiosk/stand. In a mall. You can't be THAT self-righteous. Ha! C'mon. So basically: 0/10 milk tea, 0/10 service. Why come here? That's right, don't. read more

The menu had no mention of mango boba tea so I asked and they said they had it. They asked if I wanted powder or fresh fruit. Is that some new weird diet where someone does not eat real fruit? Don't even ask me you already know i want the fresh fruit. They said they didn't have tapioca. What are you then? A smoothie stand? I let it go cause I was really tired. He makes it in a timely manner, and gives me a large instead of the small. Okay I'm not going to complain there. I think I'll go here again if I want boba tea, but I anticipate there to be tapiocas. read more

I'm glad to be a more recent review. I come to this shop very often and depend on the time of day and employees you get super delicious drinks. And they're willing to adjust the drink when needed. One recognizes me and chat when it's not busy! It sucks that the bad reviews are here. read more

love this place because they give you the option of a variety of sizes and the medium/large is the same price for the real fruit slushees. today I had exceptional service! I forgot to ask for less sugar and they were willing to make me a new one. I was also a klutz that day and they were helpful by getting me napkins as well. Kudos to the staff! I love that they have a lot of different asian teas and milk tea flavors. Great for a jamba juice replacement while shopping around the mall. read more

Got a Pina colada smoothie for $5. It was fine - nothing special but did the job.

The service here is great!! She was so kind, friendly and quick with our drinks. My sister and I got a regular milk tea and a honey milk tea. This is one of my fav place to get boba tea in Seattle. It's either Pearls or big orange in South center mall. I have their app where you scan a QR code for a buy 10 get one free drink deal. I bought three drinks today, and all I got was a QR code for 1 stamp. When I got my drinks, I had let another employee working know that I had bought 3 drinks, but only got one stamp. Her reply was "you can go to the front and get it." There was a long line because it's a Saturday, and I didn't want to be rude by cutting others in line. I had to wait 15 minutes to order, and I wasn't going to wait another 15 minutes in line. Their work area is so tiny that she could've reached into the drawer herself, and grabbed the QR code for me. I'm never coming here again. You practically have to spend $40 just to get one free drink, and they can't even give you the right stamps for the amount of drinks you bought. When I had asked for the QR code in the first place, the girl already looked annoyed. I was not going to ask for it again. If you're too lazy to do your job, then don't offer the app, or find a new job. There are two more bubble tea places in the mall. I'd rather go there. Goodbye Big Orange. Update: I met the manager the other day, and had told him about the incident. He was very apologetic about it, and gave me a QR code for two free drinks. I love it when management cares about customer satisfaction. For that, I bumped them up from 1 star to 4 stars. read more

Not that bad. I ordered the taro milk black tea with boba, since it's pretty much my standard and it helps me judge how much I like/dislike a boba place. The tapioca wasn't gross at all. It was soft and chewy, not hard or grainy/gritty, like I've experienced at some places. Surprisingly, the drink itself wasn't that sweet, and that is okay by my standards, because I personally don't like overly-sweetened drinks. Desserts are another topic though. :) Anyway, my drink had good flavor to it. It didn't have that artificial aftertaste. The only thing that I did not like was HOW LONG I had to wait for my one drink. This place is a little counter at the food court, but boy does this place get business! There were so many people ordering and only 3 people behind the counter. Be prepared to wait! They take cash, credit, and debit cards. read more

Tea for two I'm not an expert on bubble tea but this place makes a BAHM fruit smoothie. They are so good that I'm actually salivating right now just thinking about it. I wish they had an extra large size because I always seem to finish mine too quickly. My one and only complaint is that they can be busy. But, hey, that's a good thing right? It means that this place is worth the wait and much better than the other place in the mall, which will remain nameless. Fat girls drink up! read more

Amazing service. I had not had Bubble Tea before so I was trying something new. I got a black honey milk tea liquid and it was very tasty and satisfying. I'm addicted to the rainbow slush! I don't know what they put in it but it's amazing. It doesn't matter if it's hot outside, cold, day or night, a rainbow slush is always perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. They have boba teas and smoothies on the menu too, but I haven't bothered to try any of them because the rainbow slush is so darn good. Go buy one right now! read more

Terrible customer service! Employees couldn't seem to multitask. I was in line 20 minutes just to place my order. And not that many customers! It's likely they were working at a snails pace. I have always bought strawberry banana smoothies at multiple places and I have to say that the strawberry banana made here has got to be hands down the best I've ever had . You can taste the fruit and the balance is outstanding between the 2 fruits you can taste the 2 distinct flavors unlike other places where the banana always over powers the strawberry. So overall this place is a great place to grab a smoothie. read more

They have okay bubble tea. I came here once to get Coconut Mint (because Yunnie on the Ave closed and they were the only ones that's had it). I got it and it was perfect. The lady who took my order was confused but she did it. I came back again a month later and the lady tells me they only mix coconut with taro? I was surprised to finally see this chain at Southcenter of all places...I figured they'd open up a shop at Uwajimaya village since Honeymoon Tea closed down years ago. Anyways, I've stopped here a few times over the past year and it's never disappointed. Yeah, sometimes it can take a while cause there's a line but at least the boba is always fresh and cooked the right way. Soft and chewy. Prices are a little on the high side but maybe I'm just being anal. At least I don't have to drive all the way to the international district to get my boba fix. read more

BEST bubble tea place ever! I believe the person who made mine's name was Katie, she was the sweetest and kindest bubble tea server I've ever encountered. I was soOoOoOooO excited to discover that Big Orange had Rose Milk Tea because the only other bubble tea place that I've seen that at is Bambu! Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The rose flavor was extremely artificial and not at all light and slightly sweet like it's supposed to be. They add pieces of rose petals in here too, which is a cute touch, but the texture is kind of weird. I wanted to order a regular size, but of course these only come in a large. So, I had to suck down this nasty, overly sweet "rose" milk tea. The tapioca was good, but that's about all it had going for it. read more

This place is okay if you're really craving bubble tea, but if you want good service and more options I'd go somewhere else, preferably a real shop. I've been here plenty of times and they never seem to want to do their job or be nice to the customers. But when I'm just craving bubble tea I ignore it, but like I said, real shops are much more friendly. My last visit in particular is what really got to me. The cashier was rude, didn't make sure that there was straws, once I told her she got them but there was a bunch of nasty wrappers left. But I don't entirely blame her for it, it's what happens when you're the only one working at a kiosk. And on top of all of this, she got my order wrong. I ordered a green tea ice cream bubble tea with lychee jelly but she didn't add it. But I just wanted any drink at this point so I left. I gave it three stars because it isn't the most Terrible place, and it does satisfy cravings, but isn't the best either. If you have the time to spare just go to oasis instead. read more
