DRIP TEA @ SEATTLE Parking is a little tough here since it's mostly street parking. Because it's downtown, it can be difficult to find a spot, but we were luckily able to find street parking about a block away. I'd recommend being prepared to do a few circles, you'll eventually find something. I absolutely love Drip Tea. I've been to this location a couple of times now, and I always get their Cookies & Cream blended drink. It's seriously so good. They add this hot-fudge-like sauce into the boba, so every sip is incredibly rich and delicious. If you're looking for more of a shake-style drink with boba, I highly recommend this one. If you're more into fruity or milky drinks, their mango green tea is another favorite of mine. You really can't go wrong with it, especially if you add boba. It also comes with mango bits, which makes it even better. Honestly, you can't miss with any of their drinks everything I've tried has been amazing. I also love the ambiance of this place. I could genuinely sit here all day. The space is pretty big, with plenty of tables to choose from, and they even have their own clothing line that you can browse while you're there. The staff are super friendly, and the music and overall vibe are amazing, very retro and really cool. I would definitely recommend stopping by this location. They also recently opened a new location in Bellevue, Washington, which is worth checking out as well. That one is a bit different since it's located in the middle of a food court, so you don't quite get the same vibe as the downtown Seattle location, but it's still a great option.
I would come back. Staffed by one person. You order on a kiosk. The drink came out in 2 minutes. So very very fast. Bright interior. You can come with friends and they have games. Drink was good and I would come back
Another coffee shop review! Your standard chill coffee shop vibes. I haven't explored coffee shops too much in the Cap Hill area. I was mainly looking for a Viet coffee. They have a self ordering screen which is nice! I think it's on the pricier side for a medium sized coffee, but given the location it's an understandable. Would I come here again? Maybe, I would but it's not in my regular rotation but good to know it's here. I would explore other coffee shops before I come back.
Drinks - pretty good. Lots of variety. You can adjust sweetness and add toppings. Service - staff was helpful. Self order on kiosk. Drinks came out quick. Ambiance - pretty big location. Lots of seating. Art of Mac miller & Kobe on the walls. And a mortal kombat arcade game you can play for free! Lots of things in the area too so a good place to pick up a drink. Walk around to check out what's close by or take the dog to the park down the way as you sip on your milk tea.
Love the aesthetic of this place, clean & quiet. As a first timer, I don't what to get but opted for their blended tea. I ordered the bob cat & the boys wanted the snake eyes.... dang it was so good!!! Service is quick even if there is only 1 person there
Stumbled across this boba place as I was in the area and it did not disappoint. The inside was bright, clean and gave a calming feel to it all. You can order with a cashier or order through their self order tablet which was so convenient. My boba came out quickly after I ordered and it was delicious! Highly recommend.
the banana pudding matcha was amazing !! got it with the oat milk. pudding added a nice creamy texture to the refreshing matcha!! good amount of pudding on top too i love the greenery inside!! seems like good place to study as well with the quiet ambiance. service was nice! we ordered on the ipad
Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #84 Drip Tea happened to be right across the street from a food stand where we ordered lunch. Since there wasn't any seating available, we decided to visit this boba shop for a sweet drink and to eat our sandwiches. Black Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7.25) - Woah, this drink is extremely viscous. It's almost to the level of being gloopy like it's been thickened with cornstarch. It's so thick that each sip covers the entire mouth in a film that allows the taste of the drink to linger for a long time. Unfortunately the taste isn't the best - it's only mildly tea flavored with a sweetener that's harsh and a bit overwhelming. At half sweet it's not overly saccharine, but somehow it covers up everything else in the drink. I would probably opt for 25% sweet at max for any drink served here. The boba is actually quite good. It seems to be soaked a long time in a sweet marinade, allowing a soft satin layer to develop on the outside. The interior is nicely bouncy. It firms up quickly in the cold liquid, but never to the point of becoming too firm. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 I wasn't expecting much out of Drip Tea, but their boba is decent enough. I assume their specialty drinks are way better - I'll definitely be back for more. I am especially interested in the Hojicha Corn Latte. We asked the bobarista about this one and apparently they mash corn together with sweeteners to make their housemade corn syrup. Bathrooms - Single unisex room that requires a code that's printed on top of the receipt. We revisited the following week for the special Hojicha Corn Latte, Less Ice w/ Boba ($8.75) - Oomph, expensive drink over $10 after tax and tip. It's really interesting. I wouldn't say it has much of a hojicha flavor - it's only slightly roasty, but instead it does kind of taste like corn. It's sweet and almost a little grassy. There's a bit of particulate matter, tiny pieces of the corn kernel that settle on the bottom of the drink, giving more of a sweet corn flavor. The sweetness is a little much for me and while the bobarista said that the sweetness can't really be adjusted, she did put in a little less of the syrup for us. Unfortunately I'd have to say that the drink looks really unappetizing after being shaken up. It's like a light brownish grey color, which my wife described as the color of dirty dishwater pus. The boba isn't as good this time unfortunately. It's firmer and doesn't seem to be soaked as long in the marinade, so the pearls are smooth and not that flavorful. Not bad, but just not as good as the previous week. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 So overall, Drip Tea serves some very decent to good boba in drinks that are a bit too sweet compared to other shops. I wouldn't come for the regular milk teas, since there are better options nearby, but it's a good choice for the unique and more adventurous drinks.
Arrived on a Sunday afternoon, there was a line and only one employee working, hustling to finish all the orders. My review is mostly based on the wait time, it took 25 mins until I got my drink which was a little frustrating. Employee was nice, cool vibes. Hire more people management! Drink itself was sweet but good flavor. I got the yellow heart with lychee.
I went during their persona tea collab. My friend loves persona and wanted me to grab some merch. It's cool that they have collabs like this. I got the cylon tea and thought the tea was pretty good. The boba is not chewy which was a bit disappointing. There is a self-order screen and another with cashier, but when I went it wasn't busy. I wanted to ask some questions, but I felt like the employees were too preoccupied making drinks for the customers before me. Parking can be hard to find around the area.
I loved: Hokkaido Cylon Tea Taro Oreo Heard this place was a flop but I'm glad I didn't listen. Can't speak for the normal drinks but these Persona 3 Reloaded collab drinks are amazing. The boba itself is definitely on the better end. Chewy with just enough bite. Service is very normal for a boba place. They didn't take too long but weren't super quick. With all the decorations, this place was great and there was plenty of seating. I wish they had some more big group tables but I get that most people aren't bringing 10+ people in
This was the boba shop in Seattle I was most excited to try, been a huge fan of their YouTube channel! I got the match maker and the lavender flavor was divine. Very fragrant floral notes and it wasn't artificial tasting at all. The drink primarily tasted like lavender milk with a slight hint of matcha. I wished that the matcha and lavender was on par with each other without one flavor overpowering the other. The interior of Drip Tea is on point! Lots of seating, plants, and a photo opp moment with their bear bottle mascot in the front of the shop. They also play kpop music videos in the background on their TV. Super cute and trendy place to bring a friend or a date after some shopping on Capitol Hill!
This boba shop has a cool vibe with "designer drinks." I got the Abloh, which was a refreshing passionfruit and mango green tea with mango bits. My friend got the Monogram, which is their classic brown sugar milk tea with boba. You order at the kiosk, and we got our drinks very quickly. The mango bits were quite difficult to suck up the straw, as some pieces were too big for the straw. I gave up on eating them after a while. There are plenty of tables and seating inside, and they have an arcade game you can play. The floating rotating sneaker on the counter is an interesting choice of decor. The drinks are pricey, but within the expected price range for a trendy boba shop.
Solid service great drink options including milk tea, matcha, and fruit teas. A ton of work space and area to hang out. Its in a really well located area in Capitol Hill. Baristas are very friendly and will help you order if you have a hard time choosing what you want to drink! read more
Still love them and their menu but they can be inconsistent. We got a flower boy and a NERD on Friday, both drinks we've had many times before, and both were ordered as half sweetness but tasted very much closer to 100% sweetness. The service was fine because everything came out quickly but clearly the consistency is lacking. It was pretty calm and still a nice quieter place to hang out and chat with your drink if you'd like. Hoping for more consistency and accuracy with sweetness level next time. read more

Visited this spot a while back when I was in Seattle and I really liked it! Got the Yellow Heart (left), B.F.F. (center), and the Mango Slush (right). The Yellow Heart comes with mango milk, matcha, and mango bits. B.F.F. has strawberry & lychee slush and strawberry bits. Overall, really enjoyed all three drinks. None of them were too sweet and they were all very refreshing! Customer service was also great and I got the drinks shortly after ordering them. read more

Visiting Seattle with some relatives that are visiting from out of state, looking for a unique boba place in the area and came across Drip Tea. When you walk in you notice the airiness of the place, it's just light with decor and color with a decent amount of seating. There is a menu with unique drinks and their most unique feature - drinks in a Bear cup (for a $5 up charge). They also have a small area in the corner with some merchandise. When we came in and we were immediately greeted by staff who were ready to take our order. However, we took a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered the Strawberry Shortcake and Taro drink in a bear cup and a lychee/mango smoothie with lychee jellies. The drinks were good, but I expected more. I ordered a combination of fruit flavors and was disappointed that it wasn't layered or able to differentiate the two flavors. Also, I was given a bamboo straw with my drink but the bear drinks got a plastic straw. I cannot do paper or bamboo straws especially since they get soggy and I'm a big texture person... so I asked for a plastic one and they refused saying I'd have to pay $5 for a bear cup and straw. So I just took the drink and got a straw from elsewhere. Overall, the bear cups were the most unique feature here and while the kids enjoyed their drinks, I was left disappointed. read more

Drip Tea is probably the best place to go to if you're a tourist in Seattle. It's trendy, has a fun streetwear themed element, and their bear bottles are a great souvenir! Their service is always cool and friendly, and the brand they built here feels like a community. I've tried a couple of their drinks now and taste-wise they're all pretty good. I will say though that they more often then not have really sweet drinks, so I would recommend lowering your sugar level if you don't have a sweet tooth. The last few times I came in I always wanted to try their ice cream items, but for some reason they were never up and running. This was a while back now and I'm sure they're back up, but they were down for quite a while so that irked me a bit. Will probably come back to try it again. Other than that, it's a decent boba spot in Seattle and has some cool trendy aesthetics inside, worth checking out at least once while you're around. read more
There's not a single item on this menu that isn't worth ordering. I love the self ordering computer, I'm so indecisive when it comes to boba, and I love being able to customize my drink with different syrup, bobas, and jellies. The drinks come out quick, and the attention to detail always allows for a beautiful layered drink, or sweet treat. Drip Tea has a great vibe, tables and chairs to lounge around in, and they somehow always have a great playlist going. During the summer, I love being able to get soft serve here too, although, there's always room for ice cream. read more
Located just off the busy street of Pike so very convenient! I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba at 100% sweetness. It was over $7?! I was shocked it cost that much for such a simple drink. Unfortunately, the drink wasn't even sweet enough. My friend ordered the taro oreo smoothie in the bear bottle. It was like over a $10 drink since the bottle was an additional $5. It tasted better than my milk tea so better quality. The ambiance of the place was nice! It had lots of seating and was well lit! Not sure I'd come back again because of the price but happy I got to try it! read more

Great fast service. You order thru their tablet, no interactions really with the employees there. The drinks tho - many different options! And you can customize quite literally everything from the sugar, to the ice, to the tea etc. The lychee tea was honestly sweet even after I chose no sugar! The Thai milk tea was also quite good - we even put ice cream as our topping in there. Good grab and go place, but you can also sit down with your friends there to chat. The decor there is so cute! read more

Overall: Names of the tea are cute and inventive. Flavors are interesting but I've had better boba teas. The Hojicha didn't have a strong tea flavor coming through, it was out of balance with a bit too much milk. Still sweet enough at 50% sugar level. The other two drinks we got are okay, interesting flavor but you do have to like what they are composed of, definitely not for everyone. Their boba was good though, the right chewiness. Super wish they had their signature bear bottle as a glass but it's only plastic. I didn't end up getting it because I know myself and I won't reuse a plastic bottle. Drinks do look cute in it. Also, wish they had a smaller size, their drinks are 24 oz. Wait time: super long for bubble tea, which made me confused as to why orders behind me got their orders first, like shouldn't they be made in the order of when they are placed? Had one drink that was made and just sitting there but they have a sign that says to wait until all your drinks are made before grabbing it. Bathroom was decently clean but got graffiti. You need the bathroom code found on your receipt to unlock the door. Decor: When you walk in they have the wall with their signature bear bottles. Very good backdrop for an instagram picture. Just wish their lighting for that was slightly better. It was a bit too dark. Seating was a bit interesting, I guess they were trying to accommodate larger groups as well since there are those single tables all pushed together in one corner. There are also single tables around so good for couples. read more
I got the Monogram in the bear cup here, because that's what the worker recommended when I asked what the best drink was. I personally am not a huge fan of very sweet drinks so I got mine 50% sweet (which was the lowest option for this drink) as well as only one serving of boba (when the drink usually comes with two). I thought the bear cup was super super cute, and actually really good quality! I went home and washed it, and I will definitely be reusing it in the future! The drink itself was mediocre, I have had better brown sugar boba milks (think Tiger Sugar or Meet Fresh) for sure but it still was not bad by any means. The boba was soft and chewy, which was definitely a plus. The place was super cute, and the specialty drinks looked pretty good so even though I didn't like the Monogram, I still probably would come back and order something else! read more

Fun hypebeast location with super unique, interesting drinks. Though honestly a bit too overhyped and overly sweet. Not to say they're bad or anything, but you definitely expect more due to their creativity and they aren't anything out of this world. Rating is for having average experiences where I definitely would come back if I'm in the area but not likely to go out of my way. Drinks are 24oz and slightly pricey but not too crazy. Many drinks include toppings so the price is rather justified as a standard boba drink + toppings. Love the bear brick bottles, definitely worthy of being in your collection. Usability can be iffy because the toppings do get stuck in both legs and you will need to adjust the straw by lifting it to get over a small hump. The monogram is their take on a brown sugar boba. Babycat is a taroreo (taro + oreo) slush you'd find elsewhere. Snake Eyes is the matcha variant, Babycat is more popular though and more of a classic. I've had both and the taro is definitely stronger in flavor whereas the matcha is more laid back. Snake Eyes has more of a chocolatey taste due to the chocolate syrup overwhelming the matcha. Triple S is usually my go-to as I come here for a sweet dessert rather than boba. Big fan of crystal boba too and it's very difficult to have bad crystal boba so it works out. Regardless of how much I adjust the sugar, I find it still to be super sweet so I do treat it as more of a strawberry ice cream dessert. Honestly, not sure if they actually do adjust sugar in the recipe. I've visited numerous times for the bearyaki but unfortunately during COVID they paused on making them. I suppose it made a little sense because of the hand-off, but many other places made taiyaki treats just fine so I suspect ease played a factor. read more
Finally tried drip tea after passing it by a couple times. I like the concept of the shop but the drinks could use a lot more work. Drinks are around $6 and if you want the bear brick bottle it's $5 extra. Babycat (taro smoothie with cookies and chocolate drizzle): smoothie had a hint of taro and was a bit watery. Seems like it's powdered taro. Flower boy (lavender lemonade with lychee jelly): the lemonade is tart and refreshing but there's no lavender flavor - only coloring. Overall a cool concept with the drink names, merch, and vibes but needs a lot more work on the drinks especially at this price point. read more

Definitely just came here for the aesthetic and vibes. My friends and I decided to make a stop here during our Seattle trip and we all loved the concept store aspect of it. They sold a variety of clothing, pins, stickers, figurines, etc. They served soft serve and boba. We all wanted the bear bottle which is an extra $5. I got two drinks from them: Babycat and BFF. Both with boba and both at 50% sugar and ice. 4/5- Babycat was a blended taro smoothie with oreo bits throughout the drink. I liked this one a lot because I have not tried anything like this before. I liked how it tasted, but the boba toppings were firm and did not have much flavor which is why I had to dock them down a star. 4/5- BFF- a strawberry lychee slushie. The boba toppings were also pretty hard for this drink, but the drink overall was refreshing. I would definitely get this on a sunny day. Overall, we were mostly there for the bear cup, but the drinks were just okay. It is definitely a place that you should at least try once. read more
This was my first time coming to drip tea and I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious, clean , and esthetic this place was ! When you enter there is a place for pictures and they do allow inside seating! My Friend and I decided to try the snake eyes and strawberry lemonade drink in the teddy bear cup! It is 5 dollars more for the cup but it is really cute and big! I think it was unique and stood out for sure! Next time I come back to Seattle I wanna visit again! read more

A lot of the photos on Yelp are outdated and now they have a simpler menu. They focus on more teas and just the basic on milk teas. It's everything you expect a boba shop to have, and nothing stands out about this one. read more
Had to waste some time before a tattoo about a block away and had spotted Drip Tea a few weeks before but couldn't have any caffeine cause I was going to a sleep study. So decided to give it a try this time. Went with the Fear of POG I'm a big passionfruit person. Appreciated the person at the counter saying it could be on the sweet side and suggested 25% less sweet I probably would've even went with 50%. I lean towards fruit tea more than milk teas. They seem to have a steady stream of customers for about 2:30 in the afternoon. Enjoyed my drink quietly till about 15 middle schoolers came in and it got a little too noisy and crowded for my comfort. But glad to see them so busy during covid. Cute space lots of Instagram worthy spaces for pics. They have a good variety on their menu and serve soft serve as well. read more
First time here and I didn't know what to order but I asked the cashier what's their most popular drink and she suggested "Monogram" to me. It's basically a brown sugar boba. The drink is good and I liked the consistency of the boba. Its exactly how I like them. The store is cute but I think their drinks are on the expensive side. read more

Super cute boba shop with really good drinks and soft serve! They have nice bear bottles that are super picturesque and they also sell clothes if you're interested in buying clothes at the same time as boba (which is a bit weird but you do you). This is definitely one of my favorite places to get boba in Seattle! It's a bit pricey but the drinks taste really good and the flavors are really balanced. The boba here is nice and chewy and none of the drinks are too sweet. My favorite drinks are probably the heart eyes and the yellow heart (matcha, milk, and either strawberry or mango). The drink is refreshing and creamy from the milk and the matcha and fruit create a great balance of earthiness, bitterness, sweetness, and fruitiness. All of the flavors go really well together and nothing overpowers the other! The soft serve here is really good too. It's super creamy and doesn't have any granules of ice. I really like the tiger boba soft serve because the black sugar adds a nice caramel flavor and a bit more sweetness to the soft serve. The boba adds a chewiness which contrasts really well with the creaminess of the soft serve. read more

Let's be honest: I came here for the bear cup. And if you're curious, it's +$5 for the upgrade. I tried the N.E.R.D -- butterfly pea tea, guava lemonade, and strawberry bits. I got 50% sweet, which may have been why it was strikingly tart, but that aside, the tea was mediocre. Their boba is also hard, rather than soft and chewy, so I wouldn't recommend paying for the extra topping. The aesthetics in the shop are nice. A corner of the store has some streetwear for sale. At first I didn't fully understand why, but upon further research, they have a "secret" store upstairs called drip tea market to accompany the tea shop. They sell designer streetwear. You can gain access to it by asking the cashier when you order or via a side entrance (check their IG for details). Would be curious to try more of their drinks, but IMO it's a place you can skip. Unless you're there for the bear cup (like I was)--then by all means, stop by! read more
Trendy tea shop. First time going to a tea shop that sells apparels. They are known for their "Designer Drinks". We got the NIGO (Mango+Peach green tea) and the BabyCat (Taro+Oreo smoothie). I guessed that BabyCat would be naturally sweet already so I customized it to be 25% sweetness, it turned out perfect. Good amount of seating. Overall, felt it was overpriced. read more
