After reading everyone else's comments, I suppose mine is a "to each their own" situation. I've never had an issue here, whether that's my drink order or the service. Maybe I've just been lucky? I've been a customer here for years, though, so take that into consideration as well. At times I've come in and there was only one or two workers but they're fast. The woman who's consistently working (perhaps the owner or manager) is always so nice to us. She gets our orders right. And even the times we want to try something new and flub our order, she'll do her best to correct it. I've stood in long lines here and got in and out fast. There is seating inside if you'd like to dine in. The decor inside is cute, too, makes for decent IG pics. My order always tastes good. Give it a try! I try to support Kent Station businesses as well, as much as I can. It's been a bummer to see the management of that shopping center allow for so many businesses to close. I was skeptical about this boba place because the reviews but I went ahead and tried it. The reviews are basically true..... I saw complaints saying that the drinks were too sweet, however, I'm on the more sweet side for preference, so I thought I would like it. I got the brown sugar latte and it was somewhat good in the beginning, but the drink was definitely really sweet, and even too sweet for me. The boba felt old too because it was really soft. The second drink we tried was the matcha latte. This drink tasted like something we could make at home. The service was okay. The worker was nice but it seemed like they didn't want to be there. We were greeted with hospitality as well. The server was more like minding their business. Also, they served my drink with the brown sugar sauce partially on my cup, which made my hands sticky. I felt like my hands were sticky throughout the night, no matter how many times I cleaned it. The best quality of this boba shop is their ambiance. Very nicely decorated with good lighting. The environment was neat and gave a nice vibey feeling. This would be a chill place to hangout with your friends to get a drink. I decided to give this location another chance. It's worse than my first time. Signature milk tea with boba and egg pudding is so watered down. When I saw on their photos the have bubble waffle I decided to order one. Come to find out it's a regular waffle. If I knew this I would've just waited then drove to happy lemon to order a bubble waffle. This location looks like a mess. Maybe they just got a shipment in but this location is not a pleasant place to stay and hang out like other boba tea places around. So unfortunate because I like supporting small Businesses in my community, but with so many boba tea places popping up around a mile radius where I live, I don't think I can justify and supporting this place anymore. For my boba I can just go to bobalust hence the almost 200 times I've checked in, and for bubble waffle I can just visit one of the happy lemons. I ordered the Hazlenut Milk Tea with lychee popping boba, my fiance ordered the Thai Milk Tea, while my friend ordered the Taro Milk Tea with crystal jelly. The hazlenut was way too sweet, I shouldnt have even added any popping boba. Reminded me of coffee with too many sweeteners. The Thai Milk Tea was rich and sweet, rather than creamy and sweet. I ordered mango smoothie with seafoam top and my hubs ordered a strawberry smoothie. My mango drink quickly separated after I started drinking it. The slush ice didn't hold long at all. The flavor was also off, I think since there's no real fruit in it. Also when I was asking the person at the counter if they had cheese topping that I've seen at other places she couldn't hear me cuz the music was really loud, then I couldn't hear her lol. Even though this place is 4 mins from me I'll continue to go to boba tea lab which is 14 mins from me depending on traffic on 167. The boba was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but not terrible by any means. It's hard to comment on the tea flavor - and this is where I dock one star - because we asked for no ice and got ice in our drink, so it was a bit watered down. I blame the masks and the plastic barrier between the cashier and myself, it can be hard to hear people these days! Tried this Bubble Tea place for the first time and I gotta say that it was a big disappointment. Asked if they made the drinks freshly or from powder and they mentioned powder. Should have left when the guy said power since from my past experiences, the powdered drinks do not tastes as good. But wanted to give this joint a try, so ordered a Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. First sip and I was pretty dissatisfied, to say the least. Not sure what it was, but it was definitely missing something. Kind of bitter when the Dalgona was supposed to be sweet. This ding tea has some interesting flavors. Out of curiosity I got the guava milk tea and my wife got the Hokkaido oolong milk tea. I don't know if this place is owned by the same people as the one in Renton - you all know the HORROR stories. If anyone knows, please let me know! I've been here a couple times and I'm impressed! The space is lovely and picturesque - so Instagrammable. I've tried the boba latte, lychee green tea with boba, and lychee milk tea with pudding - but I must recommend the HOKKAIDO OOLONG MILK TEA. The flavor is so deep and roasted, it's almost coffee-like to me. If you're a fan of Hokkaido MT, I think theirs blows Sharetea's out of the water. As for service and staff, I've definitely heard the stories about overworked staff. All I can say for this location is that there's been 2-3 people working around 7pm-8pm when I go and nothing looks off. They're friendly to customers, conversational with each other, and keep the space clean. I'm excited to continue going to try more drinks. read more

Located next to Trapper's Sushi, and Zumiez across from the parking structure, it's easy to miss with it's small, nondescript storefront, and the tree's obstructing views. As usual for Ding Tea locations, this one is picturesque and encourages pictures. For a fairly spacious place, there isn't much in terms of seating and may suffer during high volume rushes. However, the team looked like they knew what they were doing and worked well together. For a soft opening, their cohesiveness is a good sign. Bubble tea joints have been popping up around Kent in the past year, but I do prefer Ding Tea to others so far. Ding Tea has an assortment of fruit teas and milk teas. I am a fan of their monster boba latte and their boba is fresh! If you are a fan of "collecting points", they use the Clover app. If you collect a certain number of points, you can get a discount off your next purchase with them. I docked one star because of their somewhat slow service. And during the current pandemic, I hoped that they would be using PPE (maybe wearing PPE doesn't help their store aesthetic?), but I did not see them wearing masks or gloves last time I was in. read more
