Gave them another chance since it's been almost a month since my last review. I ordered via Ubereats again, finally the bubble waffle was crispy and soft even via delivery. The most important part, was the boba was cooked to perfection finally. Hopefully it'll stay this way now that they're going into their 2nd month. I'm a bobalust loyalist, but they don't deliver. So when I have a craving for boba, I'll support happy lemon if I want to get something delivered. Good job whoever worked near closing Thursday January 13, 2023. Uber deliverer(older lady) delivered with care because the bubble waffle didn't get soggy like other times.

We finally got a Happy Lemon in Kent! The Happy Lemon chain is one of my favorites for boba drinks and bubble waffles. The drinks are consistent across stores, and the waffle is the best. 4-stars because the boba is inconsistent, sometimes it's too hard. I've been here multiple times, and the service is always good. When the line to order is long, it can take 20-30 minutes to get the drinks, especially if you order the bubble waffle. The inside is spacious and comfortable too. My go-tos are the Milk Tea or the Crema drinks. If I want something more substantial, I get the Milk Tea with Boba and Puff Cream. For a more refreshing drink, I like the Strawberry or Mango Jasmine Green Tea.

New manager! This shop is very clean and good service. They make the drinks very fast and everything is great. I will come here to buy and support them many times again.

Ube black tea was delicious minus the ice next time, the matcha bubble waffle was alright. Will try another flavor next time preferably the cookies & cream. The & matcha was okay. Clean & small cute place.

There's many tables in the back here, and it feels very casual and perfect for some nightly hangouts with friends or, in this case, a card game afternoon with a friend. I ordered through a kiosk near the front counter, while my friend ordered up at the counter itself. Server there was helpful with some of the modifications he wanted on his drink. I got their Oreo milk tea with 50% sweetness and ice levels. Nothing too special here, just tons of crushed Oreo bits and your regular oolong tea base, perfect for keeping me full the rest of the day. 50% sweetness was enough; any more and the drink would have been too much. There's also a backdrop where you can take photos of or with your drinks if you'd like. Place was decent in terms of cleanliness; some tables were a little dirty but we still had a good time here.

Boba is soft and chewy Mango sago drink was pricey at $9.50 but surprisingly tasted really good (no artificial taste; right amount of mango and coconut taste) I was also impressed in my online order I wrote a note that I wanted one smoothie with "no milk, just slush" and that's exactly how it came!- a lot of places don't seem to acknowledge customer notes... Inside was really cute, a little dim so it felt relaxing. But times I went it was pretty inside (went within 3 days cause it was so good and my friends really liked their drinks too!)

On our most recent visit, the taro green tea latte at 50% sugar was the perfect post-lunch treat. The taro gets mixed throughout more in this drink vs the taro milk tea I tried previously. I like both! Mango yogurt (regular sweetness) had a fresh ripeness that wasn't too sweet and had a balanced tartness. Husband says all they need is purple rice (iykyk)

I've tried most of the…read moredrinks on the menu, and my favorites are Brown Sugar Milk Brulee, Strawberry Crema and the Yogurt series. I've tried several seasonal items, and most are just okay. Recently I tried a holiday drink Crema Thai Tea Cookie Latte with brown sugar - it's 4 out of 5 stars for me. The cookie butter is stronger than the Thai tea taste, an interesting combo. And as always, brown sugar boba is the best. However, the drink itself cost $10.95, and with the addition of brown.sugar boba, I ended up paying $12. So MissBoba is definitely an occasional treat for my wallet. Service is always great, they always ask for sweetness level adjustment and tell you to mix the drinks well. Inside isn't too big, and gets quite crowded when it's busy, especially when the line is out the door. Also, love that they host pop-ups of donuts and other baked goods throughout the year. I came here with my boyfriend for dinner, we hadn't eaten anything all day, and we were starving. The place had one other person inside, so we got seated quickly. Upon sitting down, I grabbed utensils from the utensil container, and they were all dirty. I had to rinse them in my water cup and wipe it down before using. I got the regular size Pho Tai for $15~, my bf got the beef teriyaki, extra meat for $20~. I thought it was weird how they also charge extra if you want extra lime or cilantro/onions, I've never seen a pho restaurant do that... My pho was more like a small size compared to other places, with less than an average portion of meat. My meat was tough to chew and dry. The soup was very oily. On top of that, my pho was served with a strand of hair. Thankfully, I saw it before I started eating, our server was kind and brought out a new bowl of pho. However, that was not the only issue; the beef teriyaki was just as underwhelming as my pho. It looked more like a beef stir fry, and the beef was even TOUGHER to chew. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for Vietnamese comfort food.

That is no more. Sadly after going back recently I realized these are new owners and no longer the San Wok we are used to. Food was decent, but I could tell the difference especially with the orange chicken which was always a hit. Food overall is good for chinese, but doesn't wow me like before. New improvements inside, the restaurant now has dine in, and new decor, but prices have an increased, and ultimately just feels like another chinese restaurant in the area.

The…read morefood was tasty and the guy that ran the place, we knew from the Golden Phoenix restaurants. I think he was either a nephew or son in law. He sold the place to the previous owner who rebranded as Sans Wok Express. When the place opened the flavor, price and portion were all unbelievable and unbeatable. For years this was the case, then the price would go up about 10% at least twice a year, then the portions got smaller and post covid, the flavor also suffered like they were cutting corners. They would skimp on sauces and dishes that were generous with protein because heavy with vegetables, so instead of Mongolian Beef, it was Mongolian Onion. Really nice people, but after my last visit, I said I most likely wouldn't be back because it just wasn't worth the money. Ironically, I gave them another chance today and was surprised. When I pulled into the lot I knew something was different as I saw someone sitting inside and the place had been takeout only since Covid. The décor was also modern and warm and when I didn't see the original chef or server, I assumed there was a new owner. The menu was exactly the same, but it was a new owner and she told me she had owned the place since New Years Day. So, it's obviously been more than a year since I decided not to come back. I had the Mongolian Beef and it was pretty good. I'm sure you would love it, but I actually like mine sugar free. That said, it wasn't as sweet as most places, so respect to the chef. The lunch combo was entree, rice and soup. No more spring roll. The hot and sour was ok, but it wasn't thickened and lacked chicken stock. The new owner is really nice and I'm hoping the business comes back. This place used to always be nearly full. I think after 4-5 years of take out only, people stopped coming here. Take out is great, but I prefer dine in. It hotter, fresher and I don't have any trash. Again, when you keep the same name as the previous business, there is no flag to the community that you changed the recipes and possibly have a better menu. Either way, come back, I think you'll be pleased.
