Im never one to leave a review BUT if you're looking for a Pho place do NOT come here. Terrible service! anytime you ask for anything there's eye rolling and attitude! And sighing the entire time. The man in the front attending customers only treats his people with kindness and with anybody else super rude! I experienced this first hand. I also asked for a box at the end and he was cutting his finger nails on the counter. Authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. I really think this place is underrated and I don't understand why. The food is very authentic with all the traditional Vietnamese flavour you expect from a family operated establishment. The grilled pork is juicy and flavourful, the Banh Mi' has a crunchy outside and a fluffy inside with all the great taste you expect from a quality sammy. I ordered the grilled chicken rice dish and loved every bite. The grilled pork spring roll was super fresh and is honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. Give this place a try when you're in the area, focus on the food and you'll be pleasantly surprised how good it is. Note: the bad reviews are from people who consistently bash and trash on Yelp. For $16 you can get a decent lunch: Banh mi baguette sandwich, which includes fries and a soda. TLDR/ Just don't. Everything about this place screams of disorder and carelessness. Price: Expensive, Portions: Pitiful, Flavor: Absent, Service: Horrendous. Verdict: Avoid it, and tell your friends to avoid it too, save humanity from this pho purgatory. I sat down and ended up having to get my own menu and when the waitress came, she was both curt and let me know that item after item was unavailable. Also, who doesn't keep soy sauce on the table at a pho/teriyaki restaurant? I had to ask for both soy and for chili oil, which they were "out" of. The two front desk clerks were talking about me in another language, jokes on them that I understood them and tipped accordingly. Every single thing you could imagine being wrong with this place was. My pho came out underwhelmingly under-seasoned. They must use a packaged broth, because it was nothing like pho should taste, definitively poor in every way. Even after adding salt, sriracha, hoisin, and all the herbs, it couldn't be saved from just being a little bit bland. The floor was speckled with detritus and the table's condiments looked like they had not been wiped down in ages. Any surface that should have been dusted, had not been. Fake plants, lights, even the top of the security camera were all caked in a solid film of dust (that's dirt and dead skin people). The bathrooms were disgusting. There were dead insects on the ground, dust covering every surface, walls spattered with who knows what. Seriously disgusting. If this is how the front of the house looks, what must the kitchen look like. If you want to be upset, underwhelmed, overcharged, underserved, and dissatisfied then this is a sure thing. read more

Came across this restaurant while looking for another pho restaurant in the area. I noticed that they are rated Excellent from the KC Hoth Dept, which is always a good sign for diners. Upon seated, we were greeted by the waitstaff who wore a traditional Vietnamese top who challenged my kiddo to say Happy Lunar New Year in Vietnamese and gave them a lucky chocolate coin since it's the New Year Day. Kinda fun for the kiddo. We ordered egg rolls and pho which arrived quickly. We like the soup. The beef was a little overcooked to my taste by the noodles were good. Ever since our favorite pho restaurant in the world (Auburn, WA) closed down, due to Covid, we have been coming here. The menu selections are really decent! The pho broth is good, but the number of options are not quite as varied as what we are used to. The staff is very friendly and helpful; I always get great service when I come here. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but walking over from the Fred Meyer parking lot is great when busy. I discovered that googling their menu brings up prices that are several years' out of date; I had to do a double-take the last time I got a to-go order, as it was quite a bit more than expected. The beef and brisket were tender but the beef was fully cooked instead of raw. Possibly due to the temp of the broth? Basil and sprouts were fresh. There was very little sliced onion and green onion in the soup. Possibly another reason for the lack of body/flavor. Not a bad place but flavor is key to a great broth. This is my first time here. The building looks nice and the restaurant was clean overall. We ordered a P15 which is their combo and a meatball pho and 4 spring rolls. Both large coming in at $12 and $13 and the spring rolls are $3.50 each. The meatball pho is $1 more for some reason. The spring rolls were great. They are made fresh and the peanut sauce is good too! The pho however is mediocre for the PNW. Lots of places you can find better broth. For both pho, they really skimp on the noodles! I mean, the noodles they give you for a large is a small anywhere else. Normally, my two kids (3&5) share 1 large pho and are unable to eat it all. They really need to add more noodles! Pho noodles are cheap ($1 per pound) so giving me 8 ounces for $12 is terrible. Lastly, service is nonexistent. I think I've seen and eaten all I've needed to. It's been quite some time since I've updated my review for House of Pho... I used to come here ALL THE TIME. Oh, how naive I was. I've expanded my pho horizons and have visited so many other restaurants and have come to find this pho isn't all that great. Broth is much less flavorful than other places I've been to. I went today with my mom and sister for lunch and was surprised at how bad the service has gotten. The waiters I used to experience here on a regular basis were super kind. Today, we had some girl who was downright rude. My mom asked for soy sauce at one point and she actually gave my mom a dirty look... Girl, excuse me? This ain't your food, you don't have to eat it, nobody needs your judgement. All in all I may be back because this place is close to my mom's house & work so it's always an option... Food was "okay" just like the paper on the door out front. I'm assuming based on how clean or how good the food is maybe? . Service was awfully horrible considering the only time they came to the table was to take our order, bring food, and stand next to us as we gathered money for the check. Besides our table,this restaurant was not doing much busines except some to go orders, clean and good size dinning area but no airconditioning has made the enviroment very warm and uncomfortable. My lady's Tofu veggie chow-mien was tasty, one could tasted the nice smell of wok cooking. Due to the warm weather, I kept off from the soup dishes and ordered a vermerceli noodles with grilled prawns and chicken. Usually the vermerceli noodle would be served cold in this dish but the noodles I received was still luk warm, and the grilled chickens was cut into bigger than bite size strips, seemed a very rough job; besides the meat could have been cooked a little more to achieve the nice smoky char flavor. Worst pho experience I've had. How simple is it to wash your bowls that you are serving to your customers? The meal started out with our appetizer being served to us frozen in the middle (egg roll). The Pho Tai wasn't bad, my boyfriends P9 (three types of meat) had old flavored meat. Not bad enough to turn away when hungry, not good enough to come back. When he finished his bowl, he saw a residue on the bowl. He used a chopstick to scrape off the residue and I've seen toilets cleaner than what came off. She apologized and brought out a clean bowl out of the kitchen to show us that they DO clean their bowls. Good for you! Thank you for completely dismissing the fact that you broke Health Code violations by serving me food in dirty bowls. I sure hope we don't get sick. Decent parking, noodles didn't suck. read more

Not the best restaurant for pho or any Vietnamese cuisine. The quality of the food was pretty bad. Egg rolls had a funny taste to them. I received my egg rolls of a bed of lettuce. You would think if you were putting two small pieces of lettuce on a plate that you would put at least fresh lettuce! Instead it was rotting on the edges. (See picture).
