I'm visiting Washington and my friends took me to Pho Rolls! We visited around 10 pm on a Sunday. We were a party of 6. There was no fee for parking. It's located in a shopping center near Safeway. You just pull into a stall and hop out! Easy peasy, less stressful than if you were in the city (ie: Down Town Seattle) Prices were average for a pho place. I'm from Hawaii so the pricing was similar to home. They offered regular or large for their pho. I just got a regular since we got appetizers as well. Our waitress Hattye was such a sweet heart. She took her time taking our order and repeated it back to us as well. Since we had a party of 6, when she would come to fill our water, she would communicate that she was reaching over. I was driving around looking for a place to eat when I saw Pho Rolls and thought I'd give it a try. I was greeted when I arrived and told to sit anywhere. I was given a menu that was on the sticky side. I ordered the Pork Dumplings and the Grilled Pork with Rice. I thought the pork dumplings were good but was disappointed that they were deep fried and not pan fried. The Grilled Pork with Rice was okay but some of the pieces were slightly charred and there some burnt pieces. I also didn't think it was appropriate for them to have all their incoming/outgoing calls on speaker. I wasn't impressed and I seriously doubt, I'll be back. read more

I got a large 17 and a regular 16 and they were the same size. The broth was near identical and the noodles were also the same. I'm not sure what they consider different size but to pay more for the same thing is ridiculous. Pho Rolls has been a go to restaurant for our family every time there's a crave for a pho soup. It's basically a mile away from our place, very convenient. Came here the first time and the young lady at the front desk was very helpful and informative about the food. I ask could they sell me a combo with alterations like changing my wings that came with the combo to the salt and pepper wings because she said the combo comes with smaller unseasoned wings. I ask could they change them she said yes but then asked the cook or manager. He quickly said no before she could ask the question. After a few back and forth I was done with the negotiations.. So I chose to try again to treat my daughter to a meal because it's late. She recognized a friend and this young lady was super nice.. We ordered and decided to eat there. I know that most people aren't vegetarians, but if they were this blasé with my order, ask yourself, what's really happening in that kitchen? When I walked in, I specifically asked if they had vegetarian broth, and they said yes. This has happened to me many times before: they have a tofu pho, but it comes with beef broth, so I always ask. I'll change this review if they can prove to me their vegetarian broth is deep brown, but typically, veg pho broth is yellow, not brown. I was afraid to eat it when I got home, and made my own soup with some miso I had on hand. Also, cabbage should be green, not yellow. That part just bummed me out. Additionally, I ordered "Tofu egg rolls" which by definition are dipped in egg and fried. These are spring rolls. Might want to change the menu there, folks. They offer banh mi sandwiches (with lots of meat in them!), pho, rice dishes and vermicelli dishes. The grilled pork in our dishes (sandwiches and rice dish) were a bit over grilled, but otherwise, I was happy with the quality. My only criticism is that the service is consistently slow (for in-store dining and takeout), so factor that in when placing an order or choosing to eat here. I got the pork rice and fried egg dish (under rice dishes) and it was pretty good. The pork flavor was delicious however the pork was a little dry than it should be. I also ordered the special combo pho (regular size) and the broth was good. Usually when I order a special pho (with everything in it) it normally includes tendon but it did not here. It only had meatballs, steak, brisket and tripe. So their special pho may mean something different than most places. They were very accurate on timing when I called to place the order - 15-20 mins! This is my go to favorite pho place. I probably order from here 3-4 times a month and every single order has been perfect. I usually order fried spring rolls and a pho. I always get my order to go and the spring rolls are always fresh and hot. The pho is very tasty, you can tell the broth is handmade because it has a deep rich flavor that you would not get from a powder version. They also give me plenty of noodles and meat. I ordered through DoorDash because they had a high star rating and was extremely disappointed. The broth was so greasy it's all I could taste, even after trying to seep it up with a napkin. I was pretty bummed/sad when I saw this place was changed with a new owner, BUT I'm glad it did because the food was so much better and there were more choices to choose from!
