I always go to this for my to-go sandwich. The service was nice and friendly. Calm and quiet.

Clean, homey vibe with convenient parking, but the food was just okayI came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday dinner on 9/2/2026. Overall, the experience was okay, but there were some definite highlights and areas for improvement. Food: The food was alright, though I have had better Vietnamese food elsewhere. We ordered the veggie pho (3/5), Vietnamese sandwich/banh mi (3/5), and the vermicelli noodle bowl with pork (3/5), which were all pretty typical. The standout dish was definitely the kimchi fried rice, which earned a solid 4/5.Ambiance: The restaurant was very clean and had a nice, homey, earthy feel to it. The location is excellent--it is close to the waterfront and many other local businesses.Service & Accessibility: The staff was friendly and professional, and our food came out in a timely manner. Parking is a huge plus since there are plenty of spaces. My only real complaint is that the menu was inside a small folder and printed in a tiny font that made it really hard to read.It was worth a try, but the food itself was just average. read more

Always hot n delicious. Plentiful and good service. The Pho broth is the best around. The veggies steamed perfectly. I really like their rice noodles, they aren't sticky. read more

Very nice people. The shrimp with rice was very good. Shrimp were perfect. The chick spring roll was very good as well and the peanut dipping sauce tasty. Please support this restaurant. WIll try the pho next time. read more

Exceeded expectations for me. The service was quick and friendly enough. Get nine (small) pieces of lumpia for 9$ and I got the Bahn mi. The bahn mi only $10, and about the size of my forearm! They put mayo in it or is the only thing I didn't like about it, but I'm sure you could ask to leave that off. If I was from the area, I would definitely go back here again for a quick meal. read more

Seasoned to perfection! The broth is amazing. I always get the beef pho. Service is good.

Better attitude, actually take orders until closing time bc they will say their closed 20 minutes before actual closing time

Food is good and the atmosphere is decent. Very accommodating staff. They were able to help me get my dish the way I wanted.

Vegan review: Local Vietnamese restaurant, overall, I give it a 7 out of 10. Friendly service and relaxing atmosphere, with good music playing. Food: I've ordered their Tofu banh mi, Veggie pho with veggie broth, and fried rolls with veggies. I definitely enjoyed the fried rolls and the banh mi, those are staples for me. The pho was delicious regarding flavour, 10/10 but the noodles were pre-cut and I wasn't the biggest fan of that. Nonetheless, that wouldn't stop me from ordering it again!! Drinks: The Sweet Tea(s) are out of this world!! Sooo delicious. The Lychee sweet tea is the perfect amount of sweet, and the passionfruit. It appears they use real fruit as well, making the flavour ten-times better. read more

Delicious Pho! Great customer service! Thank you. I highly recommend this place if you have not tried it already! read more

Dirty restaurant with an angry combative owner, no thanks. Also, far more expensive than other better options in a short drive.

So yummy! Friendly service and the broth is the best. Good drinks too. We've been here many times and it's always good.

This place is about 3 blocks from my apartment. I stopped in for their House special Pho - large today. It had all the right stuff neatly packaged for takeout in about 5 minutes. My wife and I filled 2 large pho bowls and had a very filling lunch. I spent 10.5 months in Vietnam during the war and have returned 3 time as a tourist. I have eaten pho from Hanoi to Can Tho and this was very good and very authentic. It did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to sample their other offerings. read more

It's close and convenient to the house and never busy when I drive by so I figured I pop in and out real quick. Pho is ok, broth is better than some places I've been to around the area but not amazing. Kinda pricy for what you get. Got a small Dac Biet, $14 and an order of fried egg rolls (2) $8. Breaks down to $4 per roll, holy my shit! Not sure how the total came up to be $28 after taxes, before tip. I guess Des Moines got some serious taxes. read more

I've been here a few times recently so it's past time to write a review. Overall, it's quite good. The last few times I've had take-out so I can't speak to the table service but the food is really good. On one visit, I got pho with tofu (wife's tummy was upset and wouldn't have handled animal protein) and boy, was it yummy! In pho, it's all about the broth and theirs couldn't be better! And the portion was generous, so we got a couple of meals out of it. Another favorite is their fresh rolls. Made to order and served with a hoisin sauce, I also feel virtuous eating my veggies this way. My most recent visit was for a banh mi. Again, made fresh, I chose the Combination: a baguette filled with a variety of cold cuts with pate, cilantro, jalapenos, pickled carrots & daikon radish. It was not the best I've ever had but still very good. If you like Vietnamese food, give it a try! read more

Pho Dinh - two bowls of food on a table - Vietnamese Near Me - Des Moines, Washington

My sales team wanted to get pho for lunch so we decided to go to Pho Dinh. I ordered a banh mi & crab rangoons. The crab rangoons came out in a reasonable time frame, however, the issue came w/ the banh mi. After an hour of waiting my colleagues and I decided to ask the waitress the status of our food. She was confused when I told her I ordered a banh mi. After realizing that I ordered a banh mi, she apologized and said "We are out of banh mi's." I was dumbfounded because I don't understand why this was brought to my attention an hour later ONLY when I asked. Why was this not addressed when I ordered? What was worse is that she also failed to input the orders of 2 of my other colleague's who ordered pho. So 2 out of the 5 orders ended up coming out, while the other 3 waited an hour for food that was never recieved. Imagine how bad that is when you go out for a work lunch w/ your team. The customer service was terrible and the overall experience was unacceptable. read more

This place is great! My partner and I just moved to the area and we are beyond thrilled with our experiences so far. The pho broth is incredible!! Layered flavors and fresh ingredients! Sure they lag a little on bussing tables but there is a ton of seating for how small the shop is and everyone we've interacted with has been very nice! read more

Skip the other pho places in the area and come here! This was the best bowl of pho I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and delicious! I ordered my usual steak with meatball pho and I was not disappointed. I ordered a small, but the bowl was filled with a ton of meat and the broth was tasty and rich. Quick and friendly service. Great experience here! read more

This review describes the rotten treatment I received from the owner of the Pho Dinh. My wife and I called in an order for pickup. I dropped her off at the door. Since it was a rainy day and the parking lot was empty, I circled around the lot, and stopped in the center, facing the restaurant door, foot still on the break, waiting to see my wife emerge with the to-go order. Instead, the really nasty owner came out and started waving her hands and shouting at me. I rolled down the window to find out what she was getting at. She began screeching about how I'm not parked in a spot, and started swearing that "...you ##### people think I'm bad because I'm an Asian driver and you can't even blah, blah, blah..." Keep in mind that I am on an EMPTY parking lot. Just then my wife came out with the food and I pulled forward to pick her up. The owner scowled as my wife got in the car and we drove away. I'm not saying their food is bad. I'm saying that I'll never go back there because the owner is a racist slob with anger issues. By the way, I know it was the owner because she said so. read more

This use to be my go to Pho spot nearby for years but I probably won't go back again. I feel their service and food quality has gone downhill the last two visits. Tables were dirty even though it was nearly empty. Had to move twice to find a somewhat clean table. The veggies served didn't seem like they were washed. I could still see dirt on them. Also check your receipt. I ordered a small pho and when I got home to scan my receipt, I noticed she charged me the large despite being served their small bowl. This is not the first time this has happened to me too. That's a bit scandalous. read more

Our little family loves Pho. We could eat pho every single day, and we have gone from place to place to find our favorite. Over the years we have made quite the list of amazing Pho restaurants but at the very top of our list is Pho Dinh. Their broth is unbeatable. On top of that, their customer engagement is top notch, and they're so fun while also being super knowledgeable. Their recommendations are always spot on! read more

I really love this place! The food is always top quality from the pho to the vermicelli bowls and spring rolls. A must try is the crab Rangoons they were the best I've had in a long time. A good ratio of crab to cream cheese and quality ingredients. I would definitely recommend them! I haven't had table service but staff is always nice when picking up to go orders. read more

Love this place. The people are so nice and friendly. And their food is amazing. I love the pork lumpia they make there. Their pho broth is also amazing! read more

So-so Pho. Pho Dinh, is average priced. However, the food is bland/mediocre. The spring rolls were vermicelli with iceberg lettuce and bland meat. Where's the basil/other herbs? Perhaps some spice on the meat to add flavor? The Pho tasted like basic bullion. There was a salty flavor but no nuance. It's like they left out the spice packet that makes Pho such a great dish. The vermicelli dish, had a weird gas flavor to the meat. Go to Rose Pho in Normandy Park to the North or Pho Saigon Garden to the South. Life's too short to eat mediocre food. read more
