    32. Teak House Noodle
    Nami N.

First time came in Teak house at Sun night around 6pm with my hubby. There were no customers in the restaurant, but a woman showed us to a table. First I ordered hot tea. The tea came in a pot, so I was able to drink plenty of it. After that we ordered Teak house noodle and Crispy garlic chicken. Another group of customers took their seats. Several customers came for takeout. The Crispy garlic chicken we ordered was well seasoned and delicious. I also liked the Teak house noodle because it tasted good. The woman at the restaurant was prompt and had very good service. We would like to come again

Best pad Thai I have ever had in my entire life. Love the owner she is so sweet! She is very fast paced. Food has never ever disappointed me. Only Thai food I will ever eat no matter how far the drive is I always make this commute.

You know what ? I wonder why I didn't want to try this little Thai restaurant when I've been in Burien for years now. The hostess/waitress asked me the same question. Haha! I usually go to another restaurant in Tukwila, but I honestly wanted to see how this nearby Teak House Restaurant would be since it's like 1 minute from my place. I ordered Thai basil fried rice and Pad-See-Eww [SP]. The portions are great, and the taste is awesome! Now, I have a go-to Thai restaurant for take-out food. I am not so sure about the restaurant interior as it is outdated with furnitures and small. I would prefer this place to be a take-out option rather than actually sit there and have food. The interior reminds me of a Teriyaki restaurant, which is typically bland, old, and simple. Anyway, don't let the restaurant interior discouraging you from entering the premise. The friendly and funny hostess/waitress won't bore you. It'll be a quick place for a bite with your friend(s) or take-out spot for dinner time in Normandy Park/Burien area. You won't regret it!

Having traveled around Thailand, we judge American Thai restaurants by their Thai omelette. If that…read moreis great, everything else usually is also authentic and amazing. Note that most American Thai restaurants don't even make a Thai omelette...so enough said. Krungthep Thai omelette is amazing - just enough crab and delightfully puffy and flaky. So amazing! As are all of their other dishes! We've had them all and usually get the crispy garlic chicken (you can add more chicken to the order when ordering), the crab omelet (with more crab, yum!), eggplant sautéed, one of the noodle dishes (they are all great!), one of the veggie dishes (all great!), and sometimes a soup (all super delicious!), curry, or salad. Every dish is excellent, and they make a sufficient variety that it is always interesting! If Pad Thai is your thing, Krunthep makes is very, very well! We don't always get the Pad Thai because the other noodle dishes are exceptional, like the Pad Se Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Woon-sen, and Rad-Nah. If you haven't branched out from the popular Pad Thai, Krungthep is the place to explore. They have their own online ordering https://krungthepthai.com/menu that is super easy, and allows for additions and spice/heat level, as is just calling, and the staff are always super friendly. The Burien location now focuses on takeout (and they are always hopping busy, so you know this community knows they are fabulous ... and with so much turn over you know the food is fresh and amazing!). If you prefer sit-down, Krungthep has a nice dining room by the Normandy Park QFC. Go order now! Enjoy!!!!

They have been doing take-outs only since as long as i can remember (as far as 2023). However, their seasoning is very unpredictable. One time I ordered Mild for Pad Kee Mao, and it tasted super hot. One time I ordered hot, it tasted like mild/not spicy. Sometimes they tasted how they should be. Crispy garlic chicken with the sauce savory/sweet which is very appetizing. Some of them were coated well, some barely had any coated so they are just like fried chicken without sauce coating.
