After inviting me to come back to get the order with all the ingredients and then shaming me when I showed up they just spinkled a few on.

I've been dining out here occasionally for three years. I only had one bad experience before tonight. Then I was served burned food which wasn't edible and they took back and replaced It, No problem. Last night I had take out Pad ThaI just before closing and it was missing my favorite part, the fresh bean sprouts. So I called today and they said to come back and they would give me a new order. When I got there the staff person seemed confrontational. She wanted to know what I'd done with yesterday's order. I'd told her over the phone I had a photo if she wanted to see it but she didn't ask for it. She explain what happened the day before was they had run out of fresh sprouts so they mixed canned bean sprouts in with the noodles. Gross! Cooked canned sprouts are not the same as fresh bean sprouts. I said why did you have me drive all the way here then? She left and came back and said they would make more but I'd have to pay for half. I declined so she came back with a new order with a quarter of the bean sprouts they normally use. In the future just tell the customers you are out of a main ingredient. Let them decide if they still want it! And if you say you will make it right and replace it don't tell them they have to pay half when they arrive and short them on the same ingredient! And by all means don't grill them about what they did with the order after you have them made a second trip! I will find a new Thai restaurant.

Restaurant is clean and tidy. Service was very good and fast. Food is good, but I've had better papaya salads elsewhere.... Should have tried the mango salad. The Tom Yum was delicious and flavorful, I ordered it at 4 stars and it had good spice! The spring rolls were huge and good. I'd definitely go back, but I most likely wouldn't order the papaya salad.

My friend took me for a belated birthday lunch. We originally were going to a Thai restaurant in Des Moines but it was temporarily closed. I saw the high Yelp rating & it definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing with calm music playing in the background & a pond with water cascading lightly. We both ordered the Combo B Cashew Lunch which was delicious & presentation was pleasing. (See photo) Our young server was pleasant and was attentive with our needs. We will definitely return.

Yep, this is the place to go for good Thai food. I'm impressed with the level of authenticity that you can find in their dishes. Their curry has a good balance of spice and shrimp paste: the white rice paired with this dish is a mandatory complement. I enjoyed the nice portioned plate of larb; it is satisfying to grab a scoop of ground marinated pork and using cabbage to cup it all down. their pad thai is carefully crafted, not too spicy and leans more on the savory scale. friendly and attentive staff. i'll be coming back real soon.

Chicken panang curry. OUTSTANDING!

This place is great! It's a little "hole in the wall" in a strip mall, but how many "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" are in strip malls? Practically guarantees greatness! But seriously.... I've been here three times and the food has always been off the charts. Fresh, well-prepared, and served with love. It's a small, family-run place so maybe bring a little patience, though the waits have definitely NOT been out of line. And the food makes it worth while. I've had the fresh rolls, the chicken satay, the panang curry and the sides that come with it. All were top-notch. One visit, the side of pad thai was a little oilier than it should have been, but that was a small thing. I found spiciness of "Two stars" a good middle ground, but the extra spices are already on the table in case you want to amp it up! Beverages include Thai iced coffee and tea, as well as a modest selection of soft drinks, beer and wine. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's at the back of the strip mall where the QFC is located, so find a parking space as soon as you can, then walk back. You WON'T be disappointed.

What a great place! We had Togo one night while visiting and staying at a local hotel. It was some of the best Thai I've had. We had Pad see Ew (was just fine); Tom Kha (best ever had); and crispy garlic chicken (excellent dish! Very good flavor and nice and crispy.) About the only complaint was that rice was not automatically included with each dish. Cost was just over $50 for the three meals and a side of rice. They were very quick took only about 20-30 minutes. The person who helped me when I can to pick up the food was great, kind, and engaging. If we stay in the area or even are just passing through we will definitely consider this a high priority stop.

Beef salad

Popped in and ordered the beef salad, pad Thai and pad kee mao. The beef salad was fresh, just the right amount of sauce without it being dripping and seasoned just right, not too sweet or too sour or too spicy- 5/5 which made our expectations pretty high for the entrees. Partner found the pad thai to be a little on the sweet side and my pad kee mao was really soggy/wet. Service was fine, restaurant is small but nice inside. Overall, food quality is a toss up.

Mango Trout Salad!!

The best Thai food in the area!! I go here at least once a month for a fix. Here's their very tasty Mango Trout Salad.

A sister restaurant to Krungthep Thai that offers dine-in. Is our go-to for Thai without losing the flavor we love and enjoy. The establishment is clean with a warm ambience. Immediately walking through the door, you'll see a beautiful pond with koi fish and a shrine. You'll be instructed to sit wherever you want, and service is quick. As a regular to both Krungthep Thai branches, I cannot emphasize enough that every item is great. Spice level is between 0-5, with the option of additional dry spice. Their fried rice dishes are excellently seasoned. Noodles are adequately saucey without worry of being soggy. Sautéed dishes will be swimming in extra sauce to be poured over your side of rice. And fried dishes with be piping hot with an excellent crisp. We came during lunch service, but you can ask for a lunch portion or dinner portion. Today's order was a lunch combo. Typically it's served on a plate with a side of rice, pad thai, an egg roll, and your choice of protein or entree. We ordered crispy garlic chicken that day, and to our surprise, the portion was almost equivalent to ordering a single dinner order of crispy garlic chicken! This was definitely a steal. Thai tea and Thai iced coffee are deliciously sweet, and you're able to ask for less ice or no ice.

Great foods. Service and ambiance were alright. I come back for the food. Their crispy chicken lunch combo was my favorite meal.

I am a local from Hawaii, and love Sam Choy…read more Overall, I was impressed by the menu and opportunity to eat good food at the airport but at the same time disappointed at the quality of food and the cost. Kalua pork plate $17.99- great Smokey taste on the kalua pig and the side salad had nice greens. However, the rice was re-purposed hard and sour sushi rice which I assume is also used for the other menu items. I would prefer just plain hapa or white rice. Loco style $6.49 it was an extra cost to make the kalua pig plate, loco moco style which means brown gravy with sunny side egg. Enjoyed the gravy, but the price was too high. Because the kiosk was self serve, I was unable to know what loco style meant and wished I had ordered at the counter. Hawaiian sun POG $3.99 very reasonable price. Ice cold. Perfect.

I ordered take-out, but they did have a sit in option to the side if you wanted to sit at their tables. Regarding the ambiance... it is inside an airport. There isn't much going on here in those terms. Honestly it wasn't bad. It was good, but I'm not sure if this was worth $22 if I am being honest. As you can see it is just about salmon and pickled jalapeños on tortilla chips with a with a few strands of cilantro. Nothing too crazy or standout. There was an extra surcharge for the salmon option which was something new for me when it comes to poke spots. And I do think the nachos would've tasted a bit better if they used fresh jalapeños instead of the pickled ones.
