The food is so delicious. I appreciate they will customize your dish with your choice of spice level of 1-5. The restaurant is so beautiful and well decorated for a very ambient experience. They could easily accommodate an intimate couple or even a large party. Our server was wonderful. Very attentive without hovering. Great place. I woukd highly recommend
Food, quality, and taste are all superb! Service is great as far as consistency with the food. I've never been inside so I can't speak to the ambiance. However, this is my second time having it and it's absolutely delicious! I ordered the Thai tea, garlic green beans, phad kee mao, and the crispy garlic chicken with white rice and today I added the chicken pot stickers! All delish! Check it out you won't be disappointed P.s. don't mind the presentation I ate some prior to taking the photo!
Food has wonderful flavor, chicken was crispy, pad thai was cooked well, pot stickers were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Absolutely wonderful. Super friendly service and was quiet for the evening - probably because everyone is watching football at the moment. Area has a nice moody vibe with the lights and it is very clean.
My wife and I found this strip mall Thai restaurant on Yelp when looking in the area for Thai food. The place was pretty empty around 5 pm which made us a bit nervous but it was a Monday night and we thought maybe it's mainly a lunch place. The interior is decorated nicely and the staff was friendly and fairly attentive. My wife and I shared orders of the Panang Curry, "Showing Rama", "Phad Kee Mao" (misspellings were on the receipt) and hot tea with a side of white rice. We order these dishes fairly regularly at most Thai restaurants we frequent and this was our first time at Malakor. We have had better Thai food elsewhere. Both the Panang Curry sauce and the Peanut sauce were watery. Not a fan. The Pad Kee Mao was very normal but not special. With each dish we ordered chicken and normal spice levels for us. We really love Thai food and were a bit let down by the food quality here. Nothing was terrible, it was just average.
Malakor has become my boyfriend's and my date night spot. Since writing my previous review here a year ago, we've probably been here at least 25 times because the food is just too addicting! It is the most authentic Thai food I've had since visiting Thailand, and the dishes are consistently cooked to perfection. 80% of the time, we get PAD SEE EW, YELLOW CURRY, and/or PAD RAMA, but we've also branched out and have tried their GOLDEN NOODLE, PAD KHEE MAO, PUMPKIN CURRY, GARLIC GREEN BEANS, PADH PRIKH KING, and PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE. All dishes we've tried are excellent, but their pad see ew is by far, the BEST pad see ew in the Seattle area. As people who like spice and some heat, we usually order 3 or 4 star spiciness, but 5 stars for the Rama since the peanut sauce tends to make the spice milder. Service is always wonderful. The waiter and waitress are always very friendly and attentive. The interior is clean and modern. We never have trouble getting a seat. We also enjoy listening to the Bossanova covers of pop songs that they play in the background. Overall: 6/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere
Nice Thai restaurant with adequate seatings. Service is friendly and prompt. Food is pretty good with decent portions and reasonable price. We will definitely go back to try something else.
I had a delightful early lunch here. The food was plated gorgeously tasted amazing. I got yellow curry, Thai iced tea, and mango sticky rice. The Thai tea was very sweet yet rich; exactly how I like it. The curry was scrumptious. I've never had bell peppers in my yellow curry before and there were little crispy bits (of maybe onion?) on top. The mango sticky rice was ripe and warm and sweet. An utter treat. The atmosphere here is great and there's lots of big windows to let in light. Even though it's one room, the differing levels really splits up the space. The music was calming and chill and not too loud. The waitress and waiter also came around so regularly that I didn't feel like I had to flag someone down just to get my check. I will definitely be a repeating customer.
after all the reviews, I was really excited to finally try this place! Needless to say, I was disappointed on pretty much every level. Service was pretty slow for lunchtime, even though it wasn't that busy The environment is pretty cool, it's like they renovated an old restaurant and put it their own their own flare on it, which I totally appreciate! but where it fell, the shortest was their quality of food. I just thought it was below average. A non-repeat place for me
Visited here on a Monday night for dinner. The place was slow when I first arrived. Greeted by a man who seemed like the owner of the place. I ordered their papaya salad with thai salty black shell crab. It tasted pretty authentic, however the amount of crab is too little. I only had like 3 tiny crab legs in the salad.. Pad woon sen noodle was good! It had that almost charred flavor that comes from the wok that you can usually get from most asian dishes. I got a heat level 3 so it was decent for me as well
Food: authentically good; enough said from noodles to curry dishes Service: friendly Ambience: spacious and clean Advice: when eating authentic dishes, order your curry with different proteins (chicken, beef, seafood, etc) and ALWAYS order jasmine rice on the side. SHARE! Order the dishes and everybody in your party share the dishes with rice. Whether noodles or rice or salad, put them in middle of table and share as opposed to eat your individual dishes.

Great thai food in the Renton Tukwila area! Restaurant is large. Plenty of seating and parking. Large menu. Fairly priced ($15-$18) an entree. Service was decent for how busy they got. I got the vegan cashew veggie tofu dish 4 stars (perfect spicy). Highly recommended, will be back. read more

Hands down one of my favorite Thai places!! They have all the appetizers we love which is a win! Recently tried the crispy garlic chicken and the basil fried rice with beef & extra veggies. Both were AMAZING!!! read more

We love all the foods we ordered today, Panang curry, papaya salad, heavenly beef, crab fried rice and pad see-ew, all delicious! The service is super nice and friendly, clean restaurant and beautiful decor. A go to Thai spot in the area. read more
* Pad ka pow 4/5 * Garlic chicken 4/5 - Pad ka pow is really spicy. Its pork belly in a gravy sauce. Nice fried egg on top of rice. My thai girlfriend liked it alot but i thought it was so-so - Garlic chicken was crispy and tender. Doesn't really taste like garlic but the cut of chicken was quality. It was white meat which i like better. Good portion too read more
This review was based on my lunch takeout experience today which was horrible. I got the spicy garlic with pad thai. I did not drop the box but the sauce was leaking out of the box and the pad thai was swimming in it. The noodles were very soggy. The spicy garlic portion was small compared to when I ordered this a year ago but the price has gone up. I cannot recommend the lunch specials here anymore. I salvaged what I could but the rest is going in the garbage. read more

After a long shop at nearby IKEA we needed lunch. Based on the prior yelpers suggestions, our our mutual love of Thai food we opted to give Malakor a try. The setting is cute, your typical Thai type decor, mostly clean but a little bit dirty. Not in a a bad way, if you Thai often you know what I mean. I had the tofu pad Thai (my default at any new Thai place). Spicy level 2, because I don't like to punish my face. I'm hind sight I could have gone to a 3 or 4 based on their level of spice. The noodles were great, tofu perfectly fried, just the right amount of peanuts and bean sprouts and a fresh lime wedge on the side. It was a great lunch portion, more than filling but so fresh and tasty you wanted to eat it all. The servers were ok, nothing to write home about. They kept out waters full and generally attended to everyone in the place. The only real bad thing was the neighbors thumping their loud music, no fault of this joint for having bad neighbors though. read more

Love the food here, somewhat a more authentic thai restaurant in the area for someone that grew up in asia. Asked for lesser milk for the thai tea, but i guess it made the tea alot sweeter that what i expected. The meal was great! read more
Decided to try this Thai place because I always drive by near IKEA and 99 ranch market- it was pretty good! Nothing extraordinary I would say but solid pad Thai and pad see ew noodle dishes. The dining ambience is beautiful and clean, it's a good gathering spot to grab food with friends! Super big parking lot as well. read more
The place looks very inconspicuous from the outside but once you get to the door, the place is very inviting. There's a lot of seating available. To the right of the dining area, there's a circular fire pit. The food has been spectacular during each visit. My must recent visit, we ordered the broccoli with pork belly, mixed veggies with chicken, trout salad, and chicken pad woon sen (off the menu). The veggies totally hit the spot. The trout salad was one of my favorite dishes this time. The crispy trout had great texture and the green apple with mixed veggie salad on top tasted like papaya salad! I loved the pad woon sen (stir fried glass noodle) because it's a home style dish that brings great memories to me. My previous visit was fantastic as well. We had the avocado curry, basil chicken, garlic trout, eggplant with chicken, and pork belly. I recommend all the dishes! If you can, order their lunch specials- great value for the price! But if you are coming for dinner, gather your friends and come hungry because you will want to try everything! read more
Malakor Thai is my GO TO Thai food in the Renton or Kent area! Everything on their menu is delicious and full of flavor along with huge portions so you have leftovers to take home (if that's your thing). I've had multiple dishes from here and they never cease to amaze me. They have a great large indoor dining area for friends, parties, or even if you want a business lunch. If I were to recommend any dishes it would have to be Pad Thai (basic I know but it's seriously so good), yellow curry, the platter (it's a good price), or the garlic delight. You won't be disappointed with any of them. read more
I loved it! First time here Decided to grab a bite while waiting for hubbies discharge at Valley Hospital. Plenty of parking. Easy access in and out of restaurant. Once inside it's pleasant. Open and clean. Menu selections is great. I ordered papaya salad. Pad ga graw Thai spicy. I love the salad and pad ga then decide to add pad Thai w shrimp then mango and sticky rice to go. It was such a pleasant surprise to found this place and food was just as is in Thailand. Will be back for more. read more
Restaurant was clean and very cool, i got the lunch special with curry and pad Thai. The bathroom was very clean! The pad Thai was cooked well, a bit sweet but I think that's how it's supposed to be. The curry was delicious I wish I had more! The servers were nice and attentive. Nothing really stood out amazing wise, but there was also nothing really worthy of critique. Overall what's to be expected at a good thai restaurant. Prices were market comparable. I saw someone left their tub of curry in the parking lot and it broke my heart for them lol read more

Love, love this place! Pork Belly Dippers are so bomb. yes, it's pork, but every once in a while, it's good to have! Yellow Curry, pad thai, pad see ew, golden fried rice, cashew nut chicken, mama phad just to name a few are all so delicious! Service is great, and the atmosphere is chill. You'll have to try it for yourself. read more

I ordered from uber eats, and they didn't ask for a spice level. Are their dishes normally super spicy?
Yes, just had lunch at Malodor yesterday and they did asked us how we'd like our food. Their spice level is 1-5......1 weak and 5 super spicy!
