    Simple chicken teriyaki

In store literal menu prices on their screens in the restaurant are not accurate. The menu said $12.7 for chicken teriyaki - it rang up at $14.99. Food took 30 minutes. Overpriced and under portioned. Food regrets are the worst, wish I had went elsewhere. Teriyaki sold without salad. Just cutting every corner possible. Won't be coming back.

I dislike ever leaving 2 star or less, but sadly I got about 10 bites into my house fried rice, and found a piece of chicken had some kind of a green spots in it. I went up to the counter and showed the guy, who just kept telling me everything is fresh and bought daily. I don't doubt that, but this chicken has green spots on it I'm not gonna keep eating it lol. If he offered to cook literally anything else, or even give me a partial refund I wouldn't even leave a review and givenhim the venefit of it just being a one-off. But nope, so I left hungry, and out $24 :(

They all know it's strictly sushi, sashimi, nigiri, etc... You don't get ramen, teriyaki meat dishes, katsu like other establishments. Should be called Sean's Strictly Sushi hahaha. I've also invited my gal friends who love sushi when I can get a two seater. Hubby doesn't mind not having some just so my friends could experience chef Sean's sushi. Everyone we've invited to dine with us were so impressed, including a sushi chef from Palm Springs. Her father owned a popular place for our 50 years, but has since retired. She was very impressed by the quality, and craftsmanship, the love Chef Sean pours into his creations. All my friends know how difficult it is to get reservations, so they rely on me to make them. Chef Sean keeps his little place clean, with relaxing music playing at all times. Usually Japanese music. But last night he had jazz playing and we loved it. We've been visiting Sean, and my check ins say we've been here over 50 times wow!!! Not only does he create quality delicious sushi, sauces, and tea, but we got to know him so well, we call him friend. Even like family since we got to meet his little one also. We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

We ended up getting the gold option which included the sashimi and nigiri options. So if you're into raw fish, we highly recommend getting that dining option. They also had a mini salad and fruit bar, but because we came closer to closing they weren't as stocked up as I assume they would be during peak hours. With that being said, I've been here a few times ever since moving to the area the past year and the staff has always been very friendly and I appreciate the consistency of the items throughout each of the visits. To a large extent, and for a very long time in history, Japan was regarded as the end of the Eurasian continent. Anything that reached Japan was deeply respected and meticulously studied, which ultimately gave birth to traditions like the Tea Ceremony (Chado), Japanese Cuisine (Washoku), and Swordsmanship (Kendo). Years ago, during a visit to Japan, I had the privilege of visiting the famous "God of Tempura," Tetsuya Ototani. He has been frying tempura for over 50 years, cooking millions of pieces throughout his career. Because of his legendary reputation, Japan's NHK TV station invited him to host a show where two young, attractive women were tasked with learning under him as apprentices. After two weeks, these two women began serving guests. However, when the quality of their tempura turned out to be terribly poor, he berated them sharply: "Do you have any idea how many storms this fish had to endure, and how many predators it had to evade, just to grow to this size? It required the finest sailors using the best equipment to catch it, and the most skilled handlers to transport it to us. How dare you fry it so carelessly, is this how you repay all those people?" His philosophy and profound understanding of his craft left a lasting impression on me. The sukiyaki here is Kanto-style. The soup base, known as warishita, is prepared in advance by simmering Japanese soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and a touch of kelp and bonito stock. It is then poured directly into the pot to simmer together with the beef and vegetables. The broth was rich and the vegetables were super fresh. The soup base had a slight sweetness to it, but it was honestly way too salty. Although the word 'Omurice' is a combination of the French 'omelette' and the English 'rice,' and it looks like a Western dish, it is actually classified in Japanese food culture as quintessential Yōshoku (Western-influenced Japanese cuisine) dishes created or adapted by the Japanese between the late 19th and early 20th centuries to suit local tastes and ingredients. The curry was rich in flavor, the rice was sweet and fragrant, and the eggs were wonderfully soft and tender. The fried chicken on the side, however, was way too salty. The eel tasted great, highly recommended! The atmosphere was fantastic, they have an open kitchen, spacious seating, comfortable chairs, and just the right lighting. The staff were outstanding, they spoke fluent English and Mandarin, and their service was thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly welcoming.
