Eeewww... I wish I had seen this Health rating and the cigarette butts before I went in and had lunch. I hope I don't get sick.

Service was slow, it was not busy. There were 4 tables in there. Food took a while too. It was hot and tasted good. I've only been one other time and it was not nearly as good as it was a few years ago. I was hungry and craving Chinese food so I'm super bummed. Then when I walked outside and saw the sign and the cigarette butts....

From the looks of the photo you would think this was a decent meal, especially for the price of $16.99 plus $2 for pork fried rice.. well it wasn't, the food came out within 5 minutes or less. Which was a surprise to us. The rice was lukewarm as well as the sweet n sour pork and spring roll. The only thing hot was the sesame chicken . Maybe I'm being a little generous with my rating but we won't be back in the future and hope they figure out how to prepare food better to customers.

New owners, not the same food. Saturday night 6 PM, empty restaurant. Lack of flavor and not well cooked. Consistency and flavor were trade marks of the past owner... Ordered three dishes - Pork Fried Rice, Garlic Green Beans, General Tao's Chicken. The fried rice tasted like it was out of a bag. Does not bite like wok cooked. Green beans were missing the wok fried bite, sauce, and flavor with stems and ends. The General Tao's was oily and gloppy, not really better than frozen. We won't be back.

Sad food. Eggfoo young was bad. Minimal service. Very few people there which isn't usually a selling point.

The food was bland and very expensive. When reheated it just tasted salty. We threw a lot of it out. I cannot recommend!

Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

I ordered the the egg drop soup for my appetizer and the chef's special egg fu yong for my entree with a to-go order for beef n broccoli. I'm pleased with the egg drop soup because it came hot and fairly bland so I could add salt to my satisfaction. The egg foo yong...next time I'll pick a protein instead of all three (beef, chicken, pork.) The texture was great, it was hot and definitely presentable. I just couldn't nail down a specific palette that it hit...even with salt it wasn't enough to capture an exact flavor, it was ok, like I said, next time I'll pick a protein, lol! Beef n broccoli was, hands down the best dish!! No disappointment, no off taste, no need for salt at all!! I'll must definitely be back!!

For this visit, I came in a group of 5 to celebrate Mother's Day a day early. Even with that, we had to put our name down on a waitlist, and even wait longer than usual since we did not make a reservation ahead of time through the phone. We did eventually get seated about an hour later and got a big table with the rotating glass in the middle for our family-style eating. For it being really busy and people coming in and out everywhere inside, food came out even faster! I swear it took like 15 or so minutes for all the dishes we got to arrive, and they are huge portions. - Lemon chicken: I always ask for the sauce on the side for this one. This is the only place I know of that uses chicken breast for the meat and not chicken thighs like most other Chinese restaurants do. Chicken tempura is crispy and chicken itself is juicy and really hot. Lemon sauce came on a bigger-than-expected bowl. - Mustard green and sliced pork soup: we asked for this one without the salty egg. Essentially a very clean soup with tofu, veggies, egg whites and small pieces of sliced pork. - Lotus root with fresh squid and peanut: lotus roots were a little crunchy, pretty nice dish overall with the peanuts putting their nutty mark throughout the ingredients. - Salt and pepper sole fillet: very salty but to the point where you don't need any sort of sauce. Came in very piping hot. - Ong cai/water spinach: pretty standard for most Chinese restaurants. Clean and a needed veggie among all the fried and salty dishes we got. - Singaporean style noodles: one of my favorites to get. Curry taste is prevalent, and was maybe a little too spicy for my parents to eat. - Razor clams: not a fan of these but I didn't taste any sand grains when I had a bite, so this was cleaned very well. - Lamb pot: lamb was a little touch to chew, and the fried tofu skins carried a lot more flavor for some reason. This was a humongous meal and we were all very satisfied! From other visits we were considering getting their slow cooked herb soup for this visit but it would be $16 per person so we did pass on it. That being said, dishes here are priced reasonably, and portions are really huge. Highly recommend here for a great meal for large parties!

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.
