Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

My family and I used to eat at this place all the time. food was so good (fresh), cooked right, and previous owner were so nice and appreciated the present. The new owner is just money hungry. charges everything. from warm tea to small extra sauce. On 3/26/2016, I took my family to this place since it's been a long time. A lady (V. slim on her 40s) welcomed us with a warm smile. "That's nice, I wonder where did the owner go" came to find out they had changed the owner recently. anyways, we conversed very nicely and orders Chicken Katsu for my wife and daughter, and at that time she mentioned they were having a ramen for special. I LOVE RAMAN. I asked her what kind is it, she respond it's a spicy type. Well, still confused what the ramen was but I just ordered it. food came. My jaw just dropped. chk were over fried (Dark brown instead of golden) and inside chk were not fully cooked (this tells me that they reuse the old oil YUCKSSS), and my ramen was a instant 50 cent noodle. so shocked. well I didn't say anything and just tried my "ramen" OMGGGGG - NO TASTE, they added too much water, and must have used the package power soup-- just sooo horrible. instant noodle what a slap in the face. if I knew it's a instant noodle I would not order and pay $7.99 plus tax for it. Anyways, I approached her, "hi can I order chk teriyaki" she looked at him with a smile "sure" did not bother to why. and I could read her face expression that it was a rid off deal. I could not hold it and said "excuse me, the noodle is instant and it doesn't have any taste because it's too much water" she pretended like I didn't notice it's a instant noodle "I don't know what you are talking about no one ever complains" in that moment, I just cancelled my chk teriyaki, and just returned back to my table. I did not touch that noodle, my wife just ate the salad that came with the chk katsu. she stopped couple times to the table next to us and ask if everything is ok, but never did she stopped by our table. We felt so uncomfortable and I don't think we were rude, I very cautions to approach in a very polite manner. I went to the front table to pay, for a instand noodle, chk Katsu, and 2 hot tea = $24.97 I am sure she over-charged us, but we didn't bother. Just wanted to leave and NEVER RETURN. even as we were leaing the exit door, her bad vibe was vibrating through my skin ermmmm.. that stare and silence treatment. so bad business owner! she cheated us over 7.99 for a long time business. Just horrible.. Never did she bothers to offer for a redo or apologies. Owner changed. I just experience very bad food and services. she charges for everything. prices are gone up a little. this is not a bother, but if the food taste is no longer tasty, it's a bother. Money hungry. take your money somewhere else where you won't be disappointed. Not coming here anymore. time to find another Tekiyaki spot.. This spot is known for their food taste and reasonable price. if both of this are gone, there is no reason to come by anymore.
