Salted Pepper Crispy Soft Tofu

Really cute Asian cafe with decor and good food! We had the fried tofu and a couple different congees in a cold night and it was satisfying! The tofu crispiness was good. Service was good, we got an hour before closing and the lady was still really polite about giving us to-go boxes.

Looks small from the outside but actually has a good amount of seating, also thought the decor was nice & bright. We ordered our food and was pleasantly surprised by how fast we got our food & how good it all was. Would definitely recommend & come back again.

I love the vibes of the restaurant!! They really do have good portions for good prices!! My all time favorite is the beef chow fun!! Which is savory and fresh off the wok!

I ordered mooshu chicken, green beans pork, a lemon tea drink, and tofu fish stonepot through delivery. Everything was delicious and my new go to place for delicious Chinese food!

Ambiance is quiet and chill. Service is good. Food is okay. The drinks are pretty good. French toast with peanut butter is very good. Overall, everything is good.

Stir-Fried Rice Noodle and Beef (Beef chow fun)

Came here for dinner on a weekday night and we were the only ones in the restaurant. There is a decent amount of space but it didn't give off the most sanitary vibe as the sauce bottles and other stuff on our table was a little sticky. The food was relatively reasonably priced for the portion size, but honestly the quality was pretty mediocre. The beef chow fun was extremely oily and the curry beef just tasted ok.

I took my daughter and brother here today for the first time. I saw that they had duck tongue so I wanted to try. I got duck tongue and salted pepper deep fried soft egg tofu for munching. It's an entree size. I got my bro and daughter beef brisket noodle soup and I had seafood noodle soup. The soup is plain no flavor but we finished our noodle. However, the portion of duck tongue and deep fried soft tofu is more than enough for 3 of us. Or maybe each of us also had a bowl of noodle soup. I just like trying out some dishes when I go to a new place. We were munching on the tofu and duck tongue while waiting for our noodle soup. I was beyond stuffed. We had one piece of tofu and a few duck tongue pieces left. I packed left to go. The ambience is ok for a casual. It's just an ordinary and small place in a complex very near Burien downtown.

Love this restaurant! I go here with my boyfriend whenever we're craving authentic Chinese food. It's a quiet little spot that mainly does takeout orders so I've never had trouble getting a table or waiting for food. It's more Taiwanese style but they have lots of options and it's always good. It's family style eating so the portions are large and meant to share. My favorite is the brisket noodle clay pot. But the garlic green beans are very good too! Service is always speedy and friendly!

Hong Kong Style Milk Tea

This review is solely based off my first and only time at this restaurant and ordering the Baked Chicken & Cream Sauce over Spaghetti. My favorite and go-to Hong Kong style food restaurants in Seattle are located in the Chinatown-International District (C-ID): A+ Hong Kong Kitchen and Hong Kong Bistro. I've had the baked dishes at both restaurants and was excited to try it at Eat Time. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. It was gross and sadly, I only had a few bites and didn't finish it. I see the many glowing reviews on this place and believe that other dishes may potentially be better, so I'm willing to come back and try other them. But I would not order any of the baked dishes ever again. P.S. The Hong Kong Style Milk Tea wasn't bad and came in a bucket of ice, which was interesting.

Classic American Chinese dishes, made with love and talent in equal parts. The fried rice is what they're famous for, and it lives up to the hype, but be sure to try a few more of their offerings. The wontons in special hot sauce are my favorite, drizzle the leftover sauce on whatever else you order. Beef Chow Fun is the best in the city. The spot is cozy with a good handful of tables with what looks like mainly accommodates parties of 4 but I'm sure if there was the capacity to, you can show up with a bigger party and push tables together. The menu was vast and very straight forward and I ordered a few dishes to go and it came out very quickly. Each dish also came with a sour soup which they offered to combine to make the to go process easier. Each dish was memorable and felt very close to home. The Mongolian Beef was tender, the Beef Chow Fun had a nice wok flavor, the Cashew Nut Chicken was complimented by all the ingredients in it, and the Lucky Fried Rice was umami filled and addicting to eat. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

The broth had a rich, deep flavor slightly on the salty side, but I love it. The wontons were definitely the highlight for me, packed with a savory, umami-filled meat filling. The shop itself is older but bright, colorful. Plus, super convenient with easy and free parking. Definitely a spot I come back every now and then when i'm craving a good bowl of wonton soup.

I was in the area, and a Seattle media outlet raved about them. They have their own parking lot and parking in the neighborhood is plentiful. They are on transit. They do takeaway. Almost all of the seating is long, about 16 persons. I have had fine roasted duck soup at a very reasonable price in other reviews. Ducks are small, so a lot of bones. Duck is not cheap. This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center. I visited Thai Tom, another Stranger dive endorsement. Tung Kee Mì Gia should get a liquor license and become a hipster hangout to save their business. Maybe The Stranger can help them.

But they lose 3 stars from me because they use some kind of industrial strength cleaning chemical to wipe down the tables. Hard to enjoy your meal when all you can smell is the same chemical they use to mop the floors at QFC. If they are using a spray bottle to clean at the next table, you'll get a cloud of harsh cleaning chemical up your nostrils while you eat. I've had to rinse off and wiped down my own table with a napkin dampened with tea or water in order to enjoy my meal. When I mentioned this to staff, they were dismissive and haven't changed a thing in over a year when I first brought it to their attention. They should only be using something like quat sanitizer, that doesn't smell, to clean the tables. NOT something that is used for floors or bathrooms. and on a side note: if you decide to mop underneath another table while people are dining next to it, please say "excuse me" or just wait. Instead of almost hitting people in the head with a mop handle without saying a word. Also not great for a dining experience. I have worked in restaurants and F&B management. I know something about these things. You shouldn't use anything on a table for diners that you wouldn't use on a food preparation surface. How many times has a dumpling got away from you and bounced around on the table and you snag it and consume it, because you assume the table isn't being cleaned with floor cleaner? If you agree with me, please say something to the staff, and maybe they'll eventually listen. This is a real shame. The food quality is quite good. I might just do take-out from now on. There are other high quality Chinese and Asian dining options, that's the bright side of living in this area.
