Picked up lunch, Chinese car sui (bbq roast pork and roast pig with rice and a side of broccoli. Very delicious and worth the money. Their serving size is generous. My hubby and I share this meal. Later we picked up some char sui baos,, hom boas with ground pork , chicken and hard boiled egg and a pound of roast pig to take home, would definitely visit this small business again. We have also ate from their beacon hill restaurant too.

I ordered a 2 choice meat bbq combo with bbq pork and roast pork. It can with rice and broccoli side. The roast pork by far was my favorite, the skin very crispy and delicious. Service was ok, kind of felt rushed but all sort of the hissed and bustle of trying to serve everyone. Would eat the roast pork again!

Not going to lie, sometimes I question my choice when I decide to eat here but consider eating here the equivalent of choosing McDonald's when you want a burger. Consider this a fast food option with a small limited menu for dim sum. This place can be hit or miss when it comes to quality. When it's fresh, it's good and solid eats. The shrimp har gow is plump and big and often juicy. Just not much flavor. But not gonna lie, on occasion I've had the har gow and the wrapper was mushy and soft. And nobody likes that. The siu mai is just as big and never disappoints really. It gets the job done. The spare ribs are always tender although once I'm at home or work, I also add lots of chili oil. But I'll tell what is always good here and never disappoints are the sesame balls and the fried pork filled balls. Those balls are nothing short of every bite of deliciousness. So if you're looking for a quick meal to go & you don't mind mediocrity then you won't hate your meal here. It will satisfy the craving for a bit.

Golden Daisy has been staple for my family for Years!!! We go out of our way to order and pick up food because we love it so much and the quality hasn't changed. They are our go to when we have parties and needing big quantity of dim sum or need food for catering for Birthdays. Super love their Shumai it's big, Shrimp dumplings, sticky rice, Puto, BBQ Pork and Ofcourse Roast Pig aka Letchon! All the food there are delicious, but what can I say we have our favorites. They are a small business but don't be fooled, the quality of food is nothing short of good quality and the price is very reasonable compare to others that serves half the size. Highly recommend foe Dim sum needs! They also have a little area where you can dine but seats are very limited so be prepared to wait for a spot to open.

Not a sit down restaurant, mostly to go. Inside of the plaza where Lam seafood is. I grab this when I'm in the area and it's decent enough. It's a quick in and out. Not much places for dim sum in Tukwila. Bbq pork (a little dry), pork hum bao, har gow, sticky rice, egg tart: they were all ok. I do like the chicken feet has good flavor.

Small display case of amazing sesame balls and deep fried dumplings!!

I've been passing by this place a few times now ever since the market first opened. It looks kind of shady and the bad reviews have kept me away. Well, let me say sometimes, you gotta take a plunge. My mom and I noticed today that their little display case of sesame balls and fried dumplings looked very pretty and not soggy greasy. And they're only 75 cents each. I mean really, what do we have to lose except a few dollars? We are sooo happy we tried the deep fried dumplings here (also known as football dumpling lol). They are crispy, chewy with a mochi inner goodness. The meat fillings are also flavorful. Now we no longer have to drive to Chinatown for delicious football dumplings!! Going to order a whole tray next time and give their other items a chance!

Roasted Pork w/ Rice at Golden Daisy

My sales team wanted to grab lunch in the food court at Lam's Seafood market. I decided to try Golden Daisy in which I went w/ their roasted pork over rice. The food is already prepared so you get it pretty quickly. I don't know how long the roasted pork was sitting out but the flavors must've gotten bored & left because there was hardly anything flavorful about it. The "crunch" texture that I was expecting wasn't there either. I've had really good roasted pork at other places so I'll admit I was comparing a lot. However, this was just straight up bad. I couldn't even get myself to finish it.

    Ammonia tasting humbao
    May-Raquel M.

My first time going to Golden Daisy today to get humbao and got to the meat part and it had a chemical taste like ammonia or windex. It made my son throw up. Not sure what they did to these humbaos but it is not tasty at all. Maybe they put ammonia to hide the bad smell of the pork or something. Please do not order humbao ‍ you will definitely be disappointed

BBQ Pork was dry and bland...

Extremely bad experience at Golden Daisy... I came around 2PM to prepay for a duck and BBQ pork. I told the younger lady at the front that I would come back around 4PM to pick up the food. I asked if she could keep it in the warmer and cut it when I arrive at 4PM and she said that's fine.. I come back around 4PM to find out that my food was cut as soon as I left and they left it sitting out for 2 hours. The older lady came into the conversation and started telling me very aggressively that they can't keep it in the warmer if it's chopped into pieces. I told her that I specifically asked the younger lady to be cut when I got back (which she agreed). Eventually I gave up and took my food home. When I got home I realized that they didn't give me the plum sauce that I asked for which I probably paid for.. I honestly regret leaving them a 15% tip. BBQ pork was extreme dry and duck was okay (maybe would have been better with plum sauce). I will never come back to this place..

Bbq pork was dry and bland. The actual flavoring wasn't the traditional taste, but more like beef stew. Will not order this again.

I often come here with my family after some quick shopping, and each experience has been positive. Staff are always kind, friendly, and helpful, and they're very attentive to things such as filling up waters or checking in on us. Regarding the food, I'd say the price of each dim sum dish is fairly reasonable especially compared to other spots in the Seattle area. One thing that certainly stands out however is the size of the items, I feel like each dim sum item is large and stuffed with delicious fillings, making it much more worth the price point. One of my personal favorite items is the house special BBQ Pork Bungs. The buns have a delicious bbq pork filling, and the crumb topping adds a subtle sweetness and change in texture. You really can't go wrong with the other traditional dim sum items as well -- I love their har gow and siu mai!

Food was very good. My favorite is a dish I don't see in other dim sum places- the rice roll with crispy shrimp and nori. Beautiful and delicate dish. The other standard dim sum dishes were good too. My favorite was the chive shrimp dumpling. The stuffed eggplant was tasty too. The bean curd roll was a little heavy on the sauce but it was tasty if you remove the excess sauce. Finally we wanted to balance protein with greens- the stir fried pea vine with extra garlic was satisfying. I also very much appreciate they have refrigerated vinegar for our dishes. Looking forward to be back!

The food itself is high quality. The best pan-fried noodles I've had in a long time (aka chow mein,…read morechoose the crispy option). Dim sum is some of the best in the Seattle area. But they lose 3 stars from me because they use some kind of industrial strength cleaning chemical to wipe down the tables. Hard to enjoy your meal when all you can smell is the same chemical they use to mop the floors at QFC and in my apartment building. Seriously terrible chemical smell while you eat. If they are using a spray bottle to clean at the next table, you'll get a cloud of harsh cleaning chemical up your nostrils while you eat. I've had to rinse off and wiped down my own table with a napkin dampened with tea or water in order to enjoy my meal. When I mentioned this to staff, they were dismissive and haven't changed a thing in over a year when I first brought it to their attention. They should only be using something like quat sanitizer, that doesn't smell, to clean the tables. NOT something that is used for floors or bathrooms. and on a side note: if you decide to mop underneath another table while people are dining next to it, please say "excuse me" or just wait. Instead of almost hitting people in the head with a mop handle without saying a word. Also not great for a dining experience. I have worked in restaurants and F&B management. I know something about these things. You shouldn't use anything on a table for diners that you wouldn't use on a food preparation surface. How many times has a dumpling got away from you and bounced around on the table and you snag it and consume it, because you assume the table isn't being cleaned with floor cleaner? If you agree with me, please say something to the staff, and maybe they'll eventually listen. This is a real shame. The food quality is quite good. Probably best dim sum in South King County. I might just do take-out from now on. There are other high quality Chinese and Asian dining options, that's the bright side of living in this area. But if I'm doing takeout, I might as well just go to Dim Sum House on Beacon Hill (much more reasonable prices and good quality).

Instead of making them right, I was told they have a new chef now and that's the way they cook these dishes now, sweet & sour. Take it or leave it, I was told. No apology, no nothing. The crab xiao long bao was nice and soupy; the crab flavor is subtle but nice. What got me was the little crab carrot in the baos. The absolute cutest thing and a nice touch! The pancake was delicious. Very herbaceous and savory, the pancake was crispy and chewy at all the right places. The wontons weren't super spicy, but the flavors were good, and the wonton itself was tasty. The top dish for me, though, was the beef braised noodle soup. The handmade noodles were bouncy and perfectly chewy. The beef is definitely the star of this dish, being so freakin tender and flavorful! The bok choy added that freshness and crunch that complemented the soup really well. From the tender meat, the chewy noodles, and the bok choy, this soup is my absolute favorite item here so far. I'd like to try the spicy version next time. The staff were super friendly. The food came out fairly quickly after ordering, and everything was so hot and fresh!
