    Chicken fried rice - delicious!
    Rochelle C.

We were visiting Seattle a couple weeks ago from the bay area, and craving some Cantonese style comfort food, and a friend recommended this place. We were so glad we gave it a try! It fits the bill of a "hole in the wall" restaurant, in a non-descript, industrial part of town, but sometimes those little dives are the best places! As we parked, there were signs on the outside windows of photos of some of their food items and everything looked delicious. We came in on a weeknight (2 adults, 2 older kids) and were seated right away. Service was great, very attentive. We ordered beef chow fun (called "chow foon" on this menu! Basically wide flat noodles), chicken fried rice, won ton soup, curry chicken and mongolian beef. The meal came with complimentary hot and sour soup. Pricing was fair. Everything was delicious, especially the chicken fried rice as it had what my family refers to as "wok chi" ... that yummy, smoky wok essence. The won ton soup was chicken based and not shrimp based, so that was probably my least favorite. But we cleaned up everything! We look forward to visiting Seattle again to try other dishes! My daughter who lives in Seattle said she'll add this place to her take out list and hopes they do DoorDash/Uber Eats!

Hot pepper chicken (the best version of kung pao) and beef fried rice.

Oh man I've been waiting to try this place. It's so delicious and they're so friendly here. The portions are huge and their diced pepper chicken is my favorite version of kung pao. I've been looking for a place that does chicken like this for years and I'm so happy Lucky does it so well. I loved their beef fried rice too everything tastes exactly how I want my takeout to taste. I'll be a regular here for sure. The inside is clean with a few tables but most people take out. Everything is cooked to order and they're very fast. Don't change anything! The menu and recipes are perfect, support local family businesses!

Went in for some Lucky Chinese and it was a moderate tasting meal. Now I've stopped by a few times to see what the hoopla was on YELP but each time and each meal I consumed it just never create a peaceful bliss of an amazing meal... As for location well they moved from dump on 4th to an upgraded space where you can be served and feel OK to dine in.... Let your tastebuds decide for you but Frank's TB's have come to conclusion I'll be passing next time I'm hungry for Chinese !

Yay!! They are open!! We saw their old location closed a long time ago, but we didn't know they moved until today! The new place is great! Bright location, much better parking and easier to get in and out. The place is clean and they still have the same family friendly vibe. We met their daughter, Hong, who is so friendly and wonderful! Their complimentary Hot and Sour Soup is great. I enjoyed the Beef Chow Foon. Although, I wish it came with more protein than it did. My husband liked his Curry Chicken with Vegetable Over Rice. I thought the flavor was a bit tangy than savory. The whole time we were there, many were picking up their take-outs. You know it's good when there's a bunch of regulars coming through. All in all, it was a good dinner. It still feels like dining at someone's home. We are so happy they are still around! We plan to go back to order other dishes.

Very yummy food & friendly family owned business! Would recommend! We enjoyed every bite!

They do party trays! I'd do this for group lunches.

I was warmly greeted by Hong at the front counter. She is a bright energy in this family-owned business. The dining area is small and was packed for lunch. I got takeout and wasn't disappointed with my fried rice. The Lucky Fried Rice has pork and shrimp in it. I asked for 5 star and they delivered spice! The color of the rice is probably from the chili oil which is what I had hoped to see. I could smell the burn. The rice had a nice wok flavor and is very tasty. While here, I ordered the beef and broccoli for my dinner later. I haven't tried it yet but it looks good. It has lots of veggies in it: broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms. I've tried to stop in before but wasn't able to find parking. So glad I found a spot on a side street. While this place is a challenge to get to, it's worth it for the quickness and quality. The customer service is awesome, too!

The food was pretty good for the price that you pay. They're hot and sour to hit the spot on a cold rainy day.

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.

Quick service, free hot tea in plastic cups (a classic), and chili oil at the table. Ask for white pepper btw! Depending on your taste, I like adding white pepper to my fried rice, chow fun, and soup. Wonton soup: the wontons are huge and filled with pork and shrimp. The soup however was kind of sour? Not sure what they added in, but the flavor of the broth was not my favorite. There's so much good wonton soup in the area! I wish this broth was better and more savory. Beef chow fun: pretty tasty and the beef was pretty tender. There was no work hei, so didn't have that distinct flavor Half chicken bone in: this was surprisingly our favorite dish! Steamed chicken with a ginger oil. The ginger made this dish and the chicken was very tender. The chicken comes cold so eat it with some rice and it's the perfect combo

The Chow Mein had a wonderful Wok Hei flavor and the chicken was juicy and tender. It was our favorite of the dishes. The Mixed Basket Xiao Long Bao was super fun to be able to try them all and pick your favorites. Mine was the wagyu beef, the original pork and the truffle. I was kind of sad that they didn't include soy vinegar and chili oil. I feel that those things enhance the Xiao Long Bao. The Lychee Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin I was most excited about. Unfortunately, it was the worst dish. The flavor was great. I love that it had lychee in it, but the breading was mush, and the pork was so hard and overcooked. It was inedible. Because of that dish and not including the condiments is my three star review.

The prawns we got were also great, I really enjoyed the crunchy coating and extras that came with it. I really enjoyed the space and food, I will definitely be coming back!

It took a long time for the food to come out, and when our entrees finally arrived, we weren't given rice. We had to go ask for it so we didn't end up eating everything else first. It felt like they might be understaffed, which didn't help the overall experience. The appetizer platter was a bit disappointing. The honey walnut shrimp didn't really land for our table -- though I will say the crispy coating was interesting and I appreciated that they used actual walnuts. The entrees were better. The chow mein was my favorite -- great smoky wok flavor, well seasoned, and just really satisfying. The seafood clay pot was also solid, with shrimp, fish, and tofu. The beef broccoli was nicely cooked too, especially the broccoli with garlic. Overall, there are some good dishes here, but with how slow the service was, I'm not sure I'd pick this spot again.

The food was solid and nostalgic. It reminded me of the kind of Chinese food I would get in the 80s and 90s when we went out for Chinese food in New Jersey. We stayed, talking, until the restaurant closed. As my friends packed up and said their goodbyes, the staff noticed me looking around at the different tables. I wanted to find Bruce Lee's favorite table, which I had seen on online reviews of Tai Tung. The staff member very proudly brought us all into the next room, turned on the lights, showed us the photos on the wall, and told us about the history. We got a history and culture lesson with our meal. Best of all, our friends all congratulated me on the "great find!" of a restaurant, and isn't that the kind of validation every Yelper wants?
