Combination beef pho
Alice W.

Located in White Center and has a parking lot. No frills Vietnamese restaurant that has various pho options, vermicelli bowls, and rice plates. I like how they serve hot tea when you dine in. They come take your order at your table and then you pay at the counter when you are finished with your meal. The service is minimal and you'll need to flag someone down if you need something. Ordered the combination beef pho that comes with all the meats. The pho broth tasted good. The pho wasn't packed with meat and didn't contain much rare steak and tripe. The large bowl seemed a bit small compared to other pho restaurants. I've heard their spring rolls and egg rolls are good, so would like to try the rolls in the future.

This is the number 4 from their menu.

My fiance and I have been coming here regularly for a while now. When you first walk in you get to choose where you sit and its a very open restaurant with a lot of seating. The service here is super quick and we have gotten to the point that when we come in they already know what we are both going to order. We both get the number 4 everytime which is the Pho Chin Nam, It is consistent everytime we get it and is super delicious. Also ask for their springrolls and their bread it pairs super well with the pho!

APIHM (Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month) #1: I feel like another update is necessary for the amount of times I go here. I haven't dined-in in a while but doing take out doesn't change their consistency at all. Their food is packaged so neatly and compacted so that nothing spills which I really appreciate being the one who does the pick up. The food is also still warm and there is never anything missing. They included napkins, utensils and they don't skimp out on food at all! I appreciate the consistent friendly service from the workers whether you dine-in or take out. Thank you, Pho 99, for being such a great business!

Egg Noodle With Wonton And Veggie

Was jonesing for a nice bowl of Phonon a textbook rainy Seattle day and happen to walk into this place... Don't let the ambience fool You - Their Pho is one of THE best and the flavor is simply outstanding... Ordered Egg Noodle with Wonton and added fatty flank and meatball for more protein... Bloody Hell.... Absolutely DELICIOUS !! The service is super quick and You don't have to wait for more than 5 minutes for Your meal... Will definitely go there again ...

This place was recommended to me by another White Center local. I stopped in for lunch. It was pretty busy, but I was helped pretty quickly. I sat down, browsed the menu, picked out the standard beef pho. I ordered the small and it was pretty big! No problem there! My problem was that I over added chili oil to my pho, so I really couldn't taste it. In fact, I could barely eat it! I know, shame on me. I know the rule, start out with little, you can always add more. With that said, I will be back to try it again. Only next time, I will NOT be adding so much chili!

The pho was flavorful and everyone finished their bowl. I'm from the Ca Bay Area, so I'm use to having big bowls of pho. The large bowl of pho was on the smaller side. I was looking for a combo that had a variety of beef including tendon and tripe, but I only saw combos that included one or the other. You can also build your own bowl. My husband ordered the bbq pork/egg roll vermicelli bowl, and it was yummy. This place had a parking lot, so that was nice. :)

Their teriyaki chicken is bomb! Any time I get an hour lunch from TMobile down the street, I go here.

Went with some friends for the first time and what a memorable experience. The food was delicious…read moreand the cocktail was a new experience. My cocktail was a pho broth washed shot of Jameson and it came with a pho broth chaser. Hope I got that right but I almost don't wanna drink Jameson any other way now. The parking lot was packed but there's a paid parking lot around corner so no problem. It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. I think what I appreciated most was the service- we had a person who seated us and answered questions about the menu- my partner has some preferences and shared them with the first server but then the second server came by and already knew what my partner had shared with the first server. That's real dedication. Definitely coming back.

Genuinely surprised that I would enjoy this place so much because I came here thinking, "well this…read moreis just rice and chicken, so what could make this place so special?" I was left with a pleasant surprise and understanding of the hype of this place, because the chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I got "com ga" which translates to "chicken and rice." This place only really serves like three dish on their menu, with a rotating choice of base from noodles to rice. The place is right next to their sister location, Pho bar, and share a parking space. It is nice and clean on the inside, and like the name the restaurant is shape like a boat! So far I have been here twice and would definitely come back for a warm meal. The staff were helpful and pleasant! It was roughly a 30 minute wait for the food, but that is to be expected considering this is not a fast-food Restaurant (:

A great variety of viet dishes you may not be able to find elsewhere!…read more My partner and I chose this place because we were craving soup to help with the cold. We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The portions were also HUGE and we both had enough to take home for a second meal. The Bun rieu was super tomatoey and had a rich flavor which the crab. My mom makes Bun rieu at home and I was very much happy with this bowl too, reminded me a lot of how my mom makes it! The Bun Bo Hue was not super spicy but we appreciated being able to customize. The garlic wings were SOOOO good. So crispy and seasoned so well, we would 100% get these again they were so good. We left very full, warm, and satisfied with this pick. We likely will be back in the near future!

Incredible restaurant (and a fantastic happy hour). Unlike a lot of hybrid renditions of Asian…read morerestaurants, everything here feels thoughtful, intentional and is truly delicious. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Very savory, a little sticky sweet, but not too much. Service was also friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time. One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle, and had fun chatting with regulars next to our table too.

Went during brunch time…read more Favorite dish was the Salmon Croque Madam. It was a banh mi sandwich with salmon flakes(?) topped off with an egg with a side of arugula. Easy to eat and flavorful on its own but dipping it with Chinsu added spice and more flavor. Bot Chien had a crisp to it and egg was cooked well. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating. Street parking around the area was easy to find.
