AVOID SUNNY TERIYAKI!!!! Our food came out overly drenched in sauce that was way too salty and meat was undercooked. Keep in mind also, it wasn't even 5 minutes from the time we ordered to when we got on our food on so we were already iffy. Her cooks were on lunch when we walked in so they definitely rushed & half ass our orders. We tried our best to eat our food, but it was disgusting. Tried to get a refund, but the cashier who supposedly was the owner gave us such an attitude and huge problem. She refused to give us a refund because she said we ate our food, which of course we ate 1 piece of kalbi and 2-3 pices of orange chicken. $75 for two plates & 2 drinks. Disgusting food, unprofessional & greeedy "owner". Also note that the dry fried chicken is supposedly the "orange chicken" with a yellow sweet sauce on the side. read more

I keep giving these guys chances but this was for sure the last. Ordered the "lunch special" and it was $22. First of all, lunch specials are usually like, deals, this was not lol. I added the chicken wings because the picture looked good. Took the food home, opened the bag and the kung pow part of the lunch special was filled to the brim of the container with sauce and had leaked all over the over containers and bag contents. It's a day ruiner almost if you have OCD. Worse though was that all of the food was straight trash. Maybe the worst meal I've spent money on in my 41 years. The pork teriyaki was literally jerky consistency, the kung pow chicken was just diced up rubbery chicken thigh, the wings were like Satan himself had cooked them over a butane torch, and the California roll was mush. Whoever is back in that kitchen is mailing it in and word to the wise, don't waste your money here. Also, they keep the door open like 24/7 so the place is more fly than Vanilla Ice in 1991. So the place I normally go was closed on July 2nd for the holiday. This place was nearby and open! I had never been, called my order on on the phone (chicken teriyaki, & beef yakisoba), was ready in 15 minutes. This is the bomb neighborhood teriyaki place you've been looking for. Their chicken teriyaki is a must. They have Wok Combos that are also a great bang for your buck. Personally I like the chicken/beef teriyaki combo. I've tried their crab rangoon and tako yaki, the crab rangoon is mostly cream cheese and the taco yaki has been undercooked and still raw. I'd recommend staying away from the sides/appetizers and ordering the mains. I will absolutely come back to this place, great quality and portions. read more

I've been eating at this restaurant for years, after ownership changed hands, quality and service dropped dramatically! The food has gotten somewhat better than it was at first with the new ownership, but it's not gotten anywhere close to what it used to be. My signature dish has always been "Gen Tso's and Chicken Teriyaki combo", which all combos used to come with a complementary salad. No longer included with the combos. The General Tso's chicken tastes like it comes from a box and goes stale very fast! It would've been nice to see the new staff learn the recipes from the old staff but that obviously never happened. And the prices have gone through the roof just like everywhere else these days! read more

Both chicken was good but the kimchi was very sour and limp, I also saw one of the workers grabbing jars of kimchi from the fridge in the main dining area to bring to the kitchen and it looked like a store brand I've seen at h-mart so that was pretty disappointing, I was really hoping it was housemade kimchi. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the seemingly disorganized order process and wait times. I went in on a Thursday at lunch time. I expected to wait, it makes sense. But I was there for 35 minutes after I ordered. I don't know if calling in my order would have helped, there were other customers complaining that they called ahead and still had to wait another 20 minutes. I understand, maybe the place was understaffed that day, and I went in during the busy lunch rush. Customers kept going up to the counter to check on their order. I went to this place to get chicken fried rice. I looked on the board and it said $12.99. I told the woman behind the counter I want it spicy and I want 2 star. The woman rings me up and my bill is $16.08. And I'm thinking how. So I'm scanning the machine real fast trying to see why cause I knew it had to be more than just the tax. This woman charged me $1.50 for getting the fried rice spicy. There is nothing on the board or any where else that says there is a fee for spicy. When I ask her you all charge extra for spicy vs not spicy she tells me yes and that everybody does that. That is not true because I go to teriyaki places in Auburn, Kent , and Federal Way for years and no one has ever charged me extra for getting it spicy. On top of that I was at this same restaurant a month ago and she didn't charge me extra for spicy then. I get home and my husband couldn't even eat the food. The fried looked and tasted horrible. I will never go back to this place. They are thieves. It's her right to charge $1.50 for spicy foods but post it so people can decide if they want to do that and it should not be something they charge for when they feel like it.
