What a good find! If you like good food and good portions then you will love this place. We ordered the meekatang, chicken wings, papaya salad, and beef soup. The chicken wings are huge and cooked to perfection. Moist and juicy and packed with flavor. When you order papaya salad at most places they give you more cabbage than the papaya salad. Not here! They give you your money's worth. We had enough leftover of each dish to eat it all again for dinner the next day. I will definitely be back to try out their other dishes.

Food was delicious! We also got their catfish but it came out last and we forgot to get a picture. Ended up finishing everything. Also would love to come back and try their chicken. Owner was nice and restaurant was clean. Love the ambiance. Thai tea was good but on the creamy side.

We had a variety of dishes from the menu and each were full of flavor. Usually I have this much Cambodian food in one setting AT THE TEMPLE but it's nice to be able to just order it when you have your Khmer food cravings. The wait for the food was standard if not faster than usual. Service was excellent! One thing was the prohok was fish sauce style instead of the mud fish version. So that was different.

Traditional Cambodian hot pot, bean thread noodles, papaya salad, pandan Thai tea, and blueberry refresher

Came here for a late night bite at 7:30 and the place was pretty empty with ample parking. We ordered the Cambodian traditional hot pot, bean thread noodles, and papaya salad. For drinks we got the pandan Thai tea and blueberry refresher. The traditional hot pot was a coconut based hot pot with pineapple. It was very flavorful but not too salty which I liked. There was a good mixture of veggies. The bean threads was good but I wish it had more pork on it. The pork was fried and I think I prefer a more tender meat. The papaya salad was good but I could use more of a spicy kick. The pandan tea was really good with jelly. I asked for it to be less sweet and it was perfect. The blueberry refresher was very tart if you like tart. We also ordered house fried rice to go which was the all star of robust shrimp flavor. I will say they will make it if you order it, so if you want your food to stay hot for to go orders, order it towards the end of your meal. Service was quick. This place is perfect for date night because it was dim lighting and quiet.

First time eating Cambodian and it was absolutely delicious! I loved how the menu has photos associated with most of the dishes' names so you can picture what you're eating (especially great for those who aren't familiar with Cambodian culture). My group ordered a variety of things but to summarize, it was a nice blend of piping hot dishes with a nice crisp or grill to the meats, blended with fresh veggies and tangy sauces. The Pandan drink is an absolute must! Pandan flavored milk with cubes of Pandan jelly. Despite being distracted by the food at some point, I didn't feel like the flavor was muddled by the melted ice. My personal favorite dish was the Pleah Sach Ko, advertised as a popular Cambodian dish, it did not disappoint! Tangy taste without drowning the salad, so the salad was still crisp, and the meat was nicely charred. Needless to say, it'll probably my new regular stop for the year.

So absolutely fantastic. The flavors are savory and bright, and portions are generous. Really enjoyed every dish in our meal, and can't wait to come back. Service was helpful and ambiance is cute and tropical. Clean establishment.

Perfect service and the food choices, quality and quantities is perfect too. Each dish was presented well, fresh ingredients and 3 Bros exceeded my expectations. A highlight was the picked sliced jalapeños that was great as a complement to spice up my meal. An interesting cultural difference here is the informality and efficiency. I suspect they are a family business with mom as the cook, plus a son and a daughter as servers, which was the case on a quiet Sunday. The son as the server was bubbly and amicable as I asked questions about popular and favorite dishes. The food is excellent and flavorful, with plenty of leftover foods. Parking is readily available along the streets. The Food and Drinks: Beef Loklak Rice Plate, $20 - 5 Stars This is a hardy dish with flavorful pieces of beef, a fried egg, fresh greens, rice, and a bowl of soup. This dish by itself is a substantial meal. With the sides dishes we ordered, half of this went home. Lort Cha or Fried Pin Noodles with prawns, $20 - 4.5 Stars Available protein is seafood or beef. I requested prawns only, which they accommodated. Served with a side of fish sauce in a squeeze bottle, the server said to apply all over the dish. He also said this is his favorite dish. The food has very good wok hei like a Hong Kong noodle dish. I had plenty of noodles left to make a second dinner after adding veggies and protein. Beef Skewers, $18 - 4.5 Stars Five good size skewers with a dallop of pickled veggies. The seasonings are very distinctive. Oddly, the flavor reminds me of some Chinese style beef jerky. In any case, these are smoky, savory, and yummy. Papaya Salad, $16 - 4.5 Stars They use all the real, authentic ingredients here, including bits of tiny baby crabs. Be careful if you have sensitive gums. Sugar Cane Juice, $7 - 3.5 Stars I would think sugar can juice are all quite similar, but they are not. I didn't like theirs as much for some reason. It was a bit murkier. I probably won't order this in the future. Coconut Coffee, $7 - 5 Stars Our server recommended this. Coconut and coffee sound weird together, but this drink is a winner. Very unique, a touch of sweet, potent like a Viet coffee, and very distinctive. Thumbs up. They are probably closer to 4.5 Stars. Rounding up to support a family business.

The sugar cane juice was also refreshing and it was just freshly squeezed in front of us. My sister enjoyed her Phnom Penh Kuy Tiew, it had a rich pork broth similar to eating babaw. The Mango Smoothie probably wasn't as fresh though. I didn't taste it but my mom thought it wasn't. Lastly, the beef skewers. They were not as good and seemed a bit old tasting? Almost all of the seating is long, about 16 persons. I have had fine roasted duck soup at a very reasonable price in other reviews. Ducks are small, so a lot of bones. Duck is not cheap. This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center.
