Dumpling Soup with Rice Cake
Chantal T.

Great Korean restaurant! Came on a Friday night and the owner was super nice. It is a casual place and they had K-pop music playing. We got the corn cheese and dumpling soup with rice cake. I really loved their corn cheese as a corn cheese enthusiast and would definitely come again!

The food here was decent! My group's favorite was the crispy chicken wings, the sauce and texture all around was delicious. The fried rice and soft tofu stew was nothing special but still good. There was great service and the bonchon was also delicious!

Menu 1/4 - Appetizer & BBQ - November 2025

This was a casual Korean restaurant. Food was pretty good with a nice amount of options to choose from. The server was pretty busy serving all the tables by herself, so you may have to get her attention, but that's okay. She was nice. * Crispy Wings 5/5 - I was debating between the flavored wings, but went with the classic Korean Fried Chicken. These were so good. They had a light, crispy exterior. The meat was so juicy and tender. There's also a spicy chili sauce on the side that may be the same sauce for the YangnYum Wings. It was okay. * Galbi 3.5/5 - The meat was well marinated. It was savory with a hint of sweetness. Quite tender also. The issue was that some pieces were burnt, giving a bad aftertaste. There wasn't that much either, so not sure if it was worth the price.

Customer service was exceptional. The new owner is super attentive and polite. We would definitely come back just for the service alone. The price is average Seattle price for eating out K-Pop music on the TV to entertain those eating alone. Portion was not huge but also not too little.

Kimchi Fried Rice with Banchan

I visit the International District frequently, but I had never tried this restaurant before. The restaurant was clean a server brought water promptly. I ordered the kimchi fried rice. The dish came with 3 banchans, stir fried fish cake, shredded radish, braised potatoes. The stir fried fish cake had most heat and the braised potatoes had natural sweetness. The fried rice was flavorful and had chopped kimchi, fish sausages, green onions and was topped with a fried egg and seaweed. The portion was generous, I took the leftover home.

We came here on a thursday for dinner and there was just one other party inside. We ordered the soy garlic chicken wings, bulgogi, and corn cheese. This might just be one of my new favorite spots for KFC?!!! The chicken was super crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. The soy garlic flavor was also delicious and very prominent. The bulgogi and corn cheese were standard but I have had better. The corn cheese was a little liquidy so it wasn't really sticking together. The waiter refilled our side dishes many times as well which was super sweet. I will definitely be back for the fried chicken!

We love a hardy, clean tasting chicken burger with a great, sweet bun and a generous amount of fries. The patty was wonderfully thick and cooked to perfection with that crispy outer layer that wasn't too greasy. The thick-cut fries were amazing too! I'd come back just to order a side of fries honestly! Their popcorn chicken was moist and flavorful. I tried the original and the sweet & spicy, both of which were fantastic. Happy to come back for more just to try the rest of their menu!

Delicious! Great service, fresh food, super close to the Light Rail Station, easy trip from Shoreline - we will be back!

Total Hidden Gem! We ducked into Gangnam Seattle after spotting fried chicken in the window--and WOW. Tiny place, one guy running the front, and hands down some of the best Korean fried chicken we've ever had. We tried wings, ramen, and a few chicken dishes--everything was fresh, crispy, flavorful, and seriously addictive. No misses. My husband hasn't stopped raving about it and already wants to go back. Don't walk--run. This spot is the real deal.

Drinks and chicken wings

The owner is very funny and friendly. The food is very good, especially the chicken wing. I've been going here for years and the new owner definitely gives it a local hangout spot vibes.

1. Honey Chicken

Was wandering around the International District and saw this cute restaurant! In an area full of Chinese options, I decided to go for Korean fried chicken since it's been a while. I opted for the honey flavor because I haven't seen it offered often (thinking it's supposed to be like Kyochon's honey flavor) in the states. It was definitely yummy and crunchy, the pieces were all perfectly bite sized. The ambiance of the restaurant was also amazing! The decorations inside felt very homey and made it feel like I was back in Korea! Would highly recommend Gangnam Seattle if you're in the area and craving some Korean food!

Outsiders has a solid smoky, flavorful bbq for sure! I had the burnt ends which were pleasantly fatty, as they should be. The fries were crispy and not greasy. They are high volume, so have your order ready with few question. They don't like that. Come early, prepare to joust for seating. We spent ~$160 (family of 5), I'll stay agnostic on value, as this is a labor intensive dish. I think better can be had elsewhere.

The all you can eat concept drew me here hahah. it is hard to find a solid "all you can eat" restaurant that is not only worth the price & location but also worth the food. You come in, choose your selection (per person that is) of what menu food you want (ranging from $35 to $45) and you're set. Though you have small portions, you can choose more if need be until you're full. If you're ever in Seattle, try this gem out. You'll love it. The only minor thing i didn't like about this place is the hype of Wagyu beef. I ordered the menu with wagyu and when i ate from the wagyu menu, it was ok, it wasn't the best. I finally realized that wagyu comes in different tiers, ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most delicious and of course more expensive (which i don't think they offer here). 5 also has the most fatty and delicious wagyu that just melts in your mouth. Legend has it that tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived by eating raw meat and…read moredrinking blood. One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."
