Signature dish Bo Ne
Bessie C.

Loved that they had complimentary parking! Was able to get a table right away during lunch hours. Ordered the signature dish which came with fresh French bread and veggies. The flavors were amazing. Bright and clean restaurant with lots of seating. Complimentary Costco water bottles.

Great food great service. Staff were attentive and welcoming! My parents enjoyed their Bo ne which is what this restaurant specializes in.

The food here was very good! It came out pretty quickly and they have an entire vegan menu, which is great. The servers were very kind and I thought the price was pretty reasonable for portion size with the soup. The inside of the restaurant was cozy and clean, though one of the TVs had Fox on, which was not necessarily my cup of tea. The entrance is on the side, not the front. I would definitely eat here or order from here again.

My family and I have been wanting to try Bo Ne House and More for a few weeks since they opened, and we finally made it there yesterday. I ordered the Bo Ne Wagyu, Banh Bot Chien, and an avocado smoothie. The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and they checked in often. Parking is also convenient with 2 hours free when you scan the code inside. As for the food, the Bo Ne was okay. I personally don't think it's worth $22, as the beef didn't really look or taste like wagyu, it was pretty thin, less than an inch thick. The pâté was just alright, but I did enjoy the sauce on the Bo Ne, which was flavorful and tied the dish together nicely. The plate came with a side salad with no dressing, which was a little odd since most places serve it with at least some kind of sauce or vinaigrette. The avocado smoothie was also bland, even after I asked for extra sweetness. Overall, I think this place is okay, but a bit overpriced for what you get. The service and presentation are nice, but the food itself didn't quite meet expectations.

The Wagyu Bo Ne Plate

I received a message from the establishment. They apologized but I think their apology was meant for someone else, since they mentioned providing a compliment plate of bot chien (fried rice cake). For certain, my husband and I did not receive anything complementary and we paid full price for all the items including a tip. If anything you all forgot half of our orders and we had to remind the server about it twice. We understand it was a soft opening but my goodness you are so far from ready to run a business like a business. We also saw how you gave special treatment to the Instagram guy vs the rest of the other customers, since there were other tables with service issues around our table as well.

Bun Bo hue

I saw the good reviews and wanted to try this place, but unfortunately, it was nothing special. The food was just okay, and all five of us felt there wasn't anything worth coming back for.

I came here on a cold rainy evening to try some delicious bo ne with a friend! We were worried about finding parking in Little Saigon but luckily they have free two hour parking available right in front of their restaurant! The service was so friendly and quick which I loved! We got the bo ne, banh mi, pho, and bun Bo hue which were all delightful and seasoned perfectly! I was such a big fan of their bo ne though which was addicting and savory especially with the crunchy banh mi! I would definitely go back again for the friendly service and delicious homey Vietnamese food!

Wow! Amazing food and customer service. Very attentive and fast. Everything ordered was delicious. The Bo ne was the best I've had since Vietnam, Bo kho actually tastes like Bo kho- meat was also pretty tender, and bot chien has a nice crisp to them. Highly recommend this place!

Sizzling Wagyu Steak & Egg ( aka B N)

It's been a while since I visited, but when I went near their initial opening, my friends and I each got the sizzling beef egg and pate plate, but was told they were out of the regular steak so we opted for the wagyu for additional few dollars. I believe they now just offer the wagyu option. It came with fresh veggies on the side and a yummy crispy baguette. I think the beef was on the thinner end and slightly salty but it was still pretty good. They were super busy but had many tables so it's not that long of a wait either way. I'd like to come back and try some of their other menu items!

Bò né

If you go to a place called Bò Né House, then you have to get their signature dish. The bò né here is one of the best I've had - the meat is tender, the egg is perfectly runny and the bánh mì is crispy. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely eat here again. Staff was friendly and attentive, and this place seems to be family-run, so support your local business.

Lots of potential, just needs work on both service and overall food quality. This is a newly opened restaurant at Little Saigon in Chinatown that took the place of a Vietnamese vegan cuisine place, not too far from The Boat, Pho Bac Sup Shop and Pho So 1. There's parking in the parking lot right outside the restaurant but it's paid... unless you know to validate it inside the restaurant according to some Yelpers. Otherwise, street parking along S Jackson St works too if you wanna be walking distance from here. Inside is a lot bigger than what you see outside: there's plenty of tables and booths that seat four or more. It'll get very noisy and a little stuffy inside especially when crowded like for this visit. Place does feel a little unsanitary with the tables and seats, and with the food too which I'll get to later. My friend and I came here on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm, and got seated fast though it did become a full house throughout our 1.5 hour visit. There are QR codes near the tables you can use to get the menu, and servers take your order after a little while. I'll start off by saying the food quality varied here: - My friend and I each got their bò né (sizzling beef, egg & pate), which came with wagyu beef (since they were out of regular beef), a fried egg, veggies (tomato, cucumber, romaine lettuce, julienned veggies) and a crispy baguette. There was a ton of sauce in mine and it almost covered every topping inside, while my friend's had much less sauce than mine. Quality of the meats could have been better too though it was very tender and the sauce marinated the meat well. I would prefer the bò né served at Xom in Cap Hill and Soufend in Beacon Hill for now. - Things got better when we got their bột chiên (crispy rice cakes). These are fried rice cakes cooked with eggs along with some sprinkled green onions on top. Neither of us have ever really seen anything like this before in any Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle, so we had to get this and it was delicious! Eggs and green onions already pair very well, but it gets better when you get a rice cake that's fried, crispy and appropriately flavored too. Add their provided soy sauce and sriracha or Chin-su sauces for best results. This dish is enough to share among a group of four or less. Things started getting rough when it came to service. Overall it was quite slow and we noticed a couple of things: - The biggest problem was when my friend found two pieces of hair in his bò né skillet the first time. Servers remade his dish, which took less than 15 minutes but while other orders of the same dish were being brought out. This did negatively affect his experience, though, and he felt the beef was also overcooked. - We had to flag down servers more than once to check whether our crispy rice cakes were coming, since we were actually both finished with our bò né already. Same went for asking for my friend's remade bò né. Good part is that the rice cakes came out piping hot. - My friend noticed that there were one or two tables near us that seemed to be waiting for their food - for nearly the whole 1.5 hours that we stayed there. They came in after us too, and only had drinks at their table. We noticed them looking back and forth at the servers quickly bringing out food for other patrons. - Servers overall seemed disorganized, bringing out mostly their bò né for tables and dishing out food quite slowly. People constantly kept coming in and filling tables since it was peak hours for dinnertime, so that didn't help too much either. I actually really loved the food here and want to try some of their other things regardless of the sporadically iffy service. They're still in their soft opening for a little over a month (since August 8), so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and find another time to eat here again and retry their bò né, since that's what they're known for.

Thanks, Chris & team for the exceptional service!!! We of course got Wagyu BO NE + MORE! Our more was the bot chien & the nuoc mam wings. My partner and I loved, loved, loved the food and they shared that they will be adding more items to the menu. It's Family Friendly - lots of kids got their their own Bo Ne with a side of fries! We're so glad Seattle finally has a space dedicated to Bo Ne - there are other places in Seattle that have it, but I'm a firm believer of doing justice to what is advertised, and they do it well!! Yes - it's on Jackson, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's worth it, and it is! I will be back for the nui because I grew up loving that dish when my mom made it for me.

Summer Rolls (Bi Cun )
Zhuotong L.

Bò Né House is in soft opening, and their specialty is Bò Né--a Vietnamese-style steak and egg dish often served sizzling hot with bread on the side. In Vietnam, it's classic street food, so the vibe here is more casual than fancy dining. The steak was tender, the eggs had a perfect crispy edge, and the bánh mì was crunchy and airy--just how it should be. I also tried the summer roll, which was fine but nothing standout compared to the bò né. The place itself is simple and decently clean (especially by Vietnamese restaurant standards), and while the service is a bit lacking during soft opening, the staff is friendly. Overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. I really hope that by their grand opening, they improve both the service and the cleanliness, because the food itself is already amazing.

It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating.
