Located upstairs to the M2M market, we found this hidden restaurant with many popular Korean dishes. It's self-serve with an easy ordering system at the kiosk. Jajangmyeon, potstickers, and japchae were pretty good. We got marinated cucumbers and radish for free too. My friend wanted katsu but it's no longer on the menu. It's clean and not busy on a Saturday for lunch. Nice ambiance for catching up with friends. The lady at the counter was very friendly!

Love their cheese katsu and jajangmeyon noodles! My husband and I decided to try this spot out on a weekday for lunch. It's a nice size area upstairs with lots of seating. This spot is located in M2M grocery if you need to get anything, it's very convenient. Service is quick and efficient. We ordered from a kiosk, got a number and when our number was called, picked up our food and enjoyed. They have bathrooms which are decently clean and a little water station where you can help yourself. Overall, really liked the food and hope their bring on some korean cold noodles! This would be perfect for summer!

This place finally is open! Located upstairs inside of m2m so it is pretty easy to miss from the street unless you're looking for it. The food is a little on the pricey side but the portions are large and I had leftovers after. You self order on a touch screen and then they call your number when the order is ready. You also bus your own dishes. Good spot for a quick bite and the menu has a lot of japanese and korean options. Ordered the chicken katsu curry and the flavor of the curry was perfect! It also came with a side of cabbage that usually comes with katsu. Also ordered the shrimp katsu udon and the flavor was yummy!

Definitely a convenient spot to grab a bite to eat if you're downstairs at M2M shopping or around in the area! You do order and pay on a machine so the process is pretty easy because there are pictures everywhere. I ordered the Tonkatsu Curry plate and it wasn't the cheapest at around $19 but is definitely less pricey than the popular Kobuta & Ookami but that shows in the quality. The curry was watery but the flavor was there. The cabbage salad was my least favorite, not the regular sesame dressing flavor but more of a thousand island style. The pork was juicy and they give a fair portion along with the rice! I look forward to trying more things the next time I come!

Bon is finally open! On the 2nd floor of M2M, this is a great cool place to get food. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese food. The portions are hugeeee to justify the prices. The food was made fresh to order and the flavors were spot on. The staff were very kind and helpful. Overall excited to come back!

The food is good and they run really affordable specials for dine in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately their seating area has a TV blasting K-POP dance videos at an absurd volume at all times which kind of ruins the eating experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Edit: they turned the TV down like 2 minutes after I posted this lol so bumping from 3 to 4 stars. Thanks whoever saw this[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're in the area it's a pretty good place for tonkatsu. The curry had good flavor although it was definitely too thin of a consistency, so I could go without it. The included cabbage salad is refreshing between bites of fried meat!

This is a review of the M2M food court: Bon. Stop by Bon in the m2m food court for some pretty good Korean and Asian food eats in cap hill. Very casual, food court, with average prices in Seattle for Asian foods. I really liked the jajangmyeon and cheese katsu. Food I got the jajangmyeon and overall I liked the flavor of the sauce and the noodles were good and chewy. The sauce had kind of a smoky flavor to it that I haven't noticed at other jjm spots. Only thing I complain about is the small portion size. My friends ordered cheese katsu, cheese katsu don, curry katsu, miso ramen, and takoyaki. Everyone liked their food and would come again if in the area for a quick bite. The cheese katsu was better than the cheese katsu don in my opinion. Atmosphere Open food court that is a decent size but nothing too big like a mall sized food court. Casual and nothing fancy inside. The noise level is not too loud. Pricing Food prices were average for Asian comfort food eats in Seattle. Price was decent for the taste and quantity of food. Service Everything is self serve. Order food at the kiosk and then pick up when you number comes up on the screen. Drop off trays near front. Other Located on the second floor of m2m mart! Signs pointing out the stairs to get up there are pretty clear since right by entrance of the mart. They are closed 2:30pm-4:00pm for break and also ALL DAY Sunday.

Jajangmyeon was really good. Glad I didn't order anything else because it was filling. Auntie at the counter was nice too :) Once you're on the surface from the Capitol Hill light rail station, walk into the m2m grocery store. The 2nd floor restaurant has 2 stairway entrances: north and south. The north one will take you through a long corridor. The south is brighter and closer to the kiosks. It was pretty busy during lunchtime. Lots of tables and chairs. Bus your own table and be mindful of their break time hours. If you're looking for that quick fix between class and studying or need a fast casual place to eat with friends after walking around Cal Anderson Park this is a good spot.

Ambiance: located upstairs inside a grocery store but has a nice seating arrangement that was open. Service: kiosk ordering machine makes it easy Food: I ordered the pork katsu curry which I enjoyed. Juicy, crunchy. The curry seems standard and similar to every other curry place. I have a special love for Japanese curry but this one is passable. The standards are difference once you eat in Japan, right! The jajangmeyon noodle was good too. Pretty standard and won't miss the mark.

Food court style place. Ordered on a kiosk and got the food quick. The portion for the jajang myeon was good for the price and came with complimentary danmuji. It had a nice wok flavor. Good for a quick meal and prices aren't too bad.

A great, convenient spot to grab some familiar and comforting flavors of korean fusion! Located on the second floor of m2m, the food is pretty cheap (~$15) with a decent selection, quick service and self-order kiosk. Lots of places to sit and take a break from Capitol Hill. Can even grab a dessert downstairs at the Tous les Jours :) While not a hidden gem or anything in terms of food, Bon gets the job done and does it well.

Amazing deal (jajangmyeon for $6!). Quick service, fresh and hot noodles. Flavor was also authentic, surprised by the amount of meat! Veggies tasted fresh, black bean sauce didn't feel bitter. Definitely one of the better jajangmyeon I've had, which is impressive considering it's just a small food court above M2M. Ordered on a kiosk, self service water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of seating during lunch time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My local friends recommended we come here for some authentic Japanese food while we were visiting…read more We texted ahead to reserve a table for 5 since it is a popular place. They don't take phone calls or reservations online - very old school. Which I think makes it more desirable. We ended up getting a special room with a "chabudai" style table! I was super excited because I've never experienced it before. What I did find pleasant was that although it was a lower table, there was an opening beneath the table that allowed your legs to hang rather than having to sit Indian style. Tyson was an amazing server. Was attentive, accommodated our allergies and was thoughtful with us having a young child. He was so pleasant and polite! We enjoyed the following: Baked miso glazed eggplant - YUM and melts in your mouth. Black Miso Cod Collar - this was pleasantly surprising and so delicious. Eat bite was tender and flavorful. Simple yet so appetizing. Sushi rolls were both fresh and well prepared. The nigiri was also great and fresh- not fishy. We additionally ordered takoyaki - which I normally don't love but this one was very tasty and I enjoyed the texture. Lastly karage chicken which came with a creamy slaw. Overall it was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to coming back!

Established in 1904 in the heart of Japantown, the restaurant relocated to the ground floor of the NP Hotel after its original structure was ransacked during World War II, when Seattle's Japanese community was relocated to internment camps outside the city. The hotel where Maneki now resides served as repository for family heirlooms that were left behind during that embarrassing and tragic period of American history. The joy of dining at Maneki goes well beyond the restaurant's incomparable history. The traditional Japanese menu has something for every taste, from delicious Nigiri and Maki Sushi to noodle dishes and local seafood. Pair your meal with a classic Japanese cocktail or a cold bottle of Sake, and you'll understand why this is one of Seattle's best culinary experiences. Highly recommended.

I sat at the sushi bar as it was just myself. For lunch, I opted in for the Power Lunch and it was fantastic. Served with 5 pieces of nigiri, seared salmon, miso soup, salad, edamame and more. The salad is great with the ginger dressing and the miso soup was flavorful with tofu. The nigiri was fresh and flavorful. Also got a shrimp tempura roll which was great with tempura shrimp and fresh avacado. Overall no complaints here. There are so many dishes I want to try and will be back soon for more.

When we were seated, there were only about three other occupied tables, all with couples. Two of those tables were already being served their food. We placed our order, but our food didn't arrive for about an hour despite the restaurant appearing to be fully staffed. To make matters worse, multiple tables that were seated after us received their food before we did. The long wait might have been easier to overlook if the food had been worth it, but it wasn't. I ordered the seven-piece sushi assortment with a baked crab roll, and more than four pieces of the fish were still partially frozen. The fish did not taste fresh, which was especially disappointing after such a long wait. An hour to assemble seven pieces of sushi seemed excessive. Seeing that more than half of the fish was still partially frozen made the hour-long wait make a lot more sense. Maybe they were waiting for it to defrost before serving it. My sister ordered a baked crab roll and two pieces of seared snow crab. The seared snow crab was completely forgotten until I had already finished my meal. We had to remind the staff before they rushed to prepare it. The baked crab roll itself was decent, but the combination of the extremely slow service, disorganized order handling, partially frozen fish, and forgetting an entire dish until we asked about it means we won't be returning.
