    North of Costco SODO (5/11/26)

Gangnam Burger has been open for business since January 2026. Guess I will have to shake up my SODO, Industrial District & Georgetown go tos and add this spot into the rotation. It is a tasty gem located between Costco SODO and Seattle City Light facilities, off of 4th Ave S. After a busy morning, time for much needed sustenance. I got there quickly via the 99 toll tunnel to/from Shoreline (5/11/26). There's a shared parking lot with a teriyaki site. Upon entering, it's a clean, bright establishment. Upbeat music was playing onsite. Welcoming, helpful staff. Orders are placed at the counter or via touchpad kiosk by the entrance. This is clearly a popular lunch rush site with all the folks dining onsite or briefly waiting for takeout. The menu has variety, one is bound to find something tasty from regular to signature burgers, variety of French fry preps, fish & chips, chicken strips, sodas and milkshakes. I didn't pay attention initially to the placard for daily combos available between 11am-2pm. However, I ended up ordering a Gangnam BLT Burger and plain French fries. Passed on the soda can and opted for chilled water while dining onsite. I also placed a takeout order of Bulgogi fries for The Homie after I wrapped up my meal. My order was delivered to my two top, hot and fresh on a lined tray and was provided with a refrigerated ketchup squeeze container. Just remember to bus your table. Take out containers are provided upon request. The additional takeout order was nicely packaged in a box with ketchup, napkins, and an individually wrapped fork in a stapled and secured paper bag. Omg packed full of flavor...toasted buns, thick, juicy hand formed patty, bacon strips, fresh vegies (lettuce, tomato & onion), love the cilantro pesto, despite me slathering on the ketchup. Each bite was succulent and delicious! The takeout order was also well received and remained warm driving back north. Generous bulgogi patty meat placed on top of the hot, crisp fries and sauces drizzled as the final touch. Attentive staff, since I was checked on three times while onsite. Amazing quality and greatest bang for one's buck in today's economy!

Great new place near Costco! My son LOVED this Kowboy burger combo with well seasoned fries, I tried the Umami burger with the kimchi coleslaw. Clean, bright and welcoming interior, fast service. Seems like a great addition to the industrial district.

The owner is so kind and sweet. They opened since January. It's right next to the Costco so I highly recommend stopping by before you go shopping! Burgers are reasonably priced at $12-15 each. Excited to try something so close to me. I often have to go to Seoul burger in Tacoma for Korean burger options!

They have so many different Korean signature burgers! Loved the Korean spicy chicken burger and the yuzu tartare sauce on the yuzu wave burger was delicious! Gangnam fries had ground beef and bacon! They make their patties in house!!! Milkshakes aren't powder and also not overly sweet! Fries are nice and crispy. Plenty of parking and the owners are super friendly!

I had a hamburger and then bought a coffee milk shake to go. The hamburger was Delicious and the milk shake was very fresh and not too sweet.

I walked in and decided to give them a shot. Try something easy ..I got the wonton soup with egg noodles.. the broth was umami and garlicky, and warmed up my soul. The wontons were nice and tender, flavored with shrimp and pork. It was like a warm hug. Hit the spot! Second, I ordered the crispy spicy fish. It was an extraordinary presentation even my Chef friend was delighted to see the culinary expertise of the Chef. And it was also very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They were very welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is super upscale. It looks like a fancy club. This would be a great place to bring a first date. Overall I was super impressed and very happy that I stumbled into this delicious restaurant. 10/10

He offered great menu suggestions and shared the story behind the restaurant--his brother designed the space, and he built it with the help of friends, which made the experience feel even more special. The menu is Thai-forward with a few standout dishes from other Asian cuisines mixed in thoughtfully. The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."

Back to my rave: this place is comfy and a great place to just sit in when it's chilly outside. There's a comfy couch near the entrance, many knickknacks strewn around the inside and it's brightly lit to the point where you feel like you're at home instead of a cafe. The owner of the place is very sweet and welcoming, and the pastries shown around the area looked so delicious. For this visit, my friend and I got the Thai green tea latte, key lime tea, egg tart and a slice of tiramisu crepe cake. The egg tart was warm and yummy, and quite big too so it has a mochi-like layer inside it. The tiramisu crepe cake had tons of layers of crepe and cream along with the tiramisu powder sprinkled on top. This was creamy, delightful and calming all around, that's how good this cake was! My key lime tea is a mix of Thai tea and fresh lime juice, and I'm surprised that neither part interfered with each other too much given one is sweet and the other relatively sour. The Thai green tea latte was just as great to drink. This place is so cozy and cute, and the owner gave us great service. When you do find parking, come here for some drinks and desserts, it'll be worth it!

On the bright side, there's a clean washroom, the space is small but cozy, and they have wifi plus available. Solid spot to lounge. Would consider coming back crossing my fingers for a crepe cake. Strawberry Snowie Frappe - it's a solid dessert. Very sweet and likely double blended because it's not super icy, rather the liquid collects at the bottom. However the icy blend at the top wasn't watery either, there was still some flavor. Overall, it was as expected, but a decent refresher on this street.

We were greeted immediately as soon as we walked in and because we had reservations, our table was immediately available. The menu is elevated Filipino food that lived up to its name. Small portions which means we got to enjoy each bite. No greasy taste, nothing over done. Just delicious, dishes served with pried. I didn't like that they charge for sauces. Filipino dishes are often eaten with different sauces. The dessert we had was the turon pudding. That was heavenly! An inside out turon that was a party in my mouth! As I was writing this review, we were served with a sample of their chocolate mousse. And holy moly that was good! All the flavors made my taste buds dance. Salty, bitter and sweet. Luckily, we were able to get seated at the bar right away. The hostess, bartender, and servers were all very friendly and attentive. The food was all prepared nicely with fresh ingredients. The fried chicken was impressively delicious! We also appreciated all the vegan options and mocktails. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere was lively and full of people. I heard this place also changes its menu based on the different seasons. I'd love to come back at another time to check out different menu items. This place is definitely more on the expensive side though, especially since they automatically added a 22% service charge and still prompted us to add additional tips. It wasn't too difficult to find street parking nearby.
