    North of Costco SODO (5/11/26)
    Marie B.

Gangnam Burger has been open for business since January 2026. Guess I will have to shake up my SODO, Industrial District & Georgetown go tos and add this spot into the rotation. It is a tasty gem located between Costco SODO and Seattle City Light facilities, off of 4th Ave S. After a busy morning, time for much needed sustenance. I got there quickly via the 99 toll tunnel to/from Shoreline (5/11/26). There's a shared parking lot with a teriyaki site. Upon entering, it's a clean, bright establishment. Upbeat music was playing onsite. Welcoming, helpful staff. Orders are placed at the counter or via touchpad kiosk by the entrance. This is clearly a popular lunch rush site with all the folks dining onsite or briefly waiting for takeout. The menu has variety, one is bound to find something tasty from regular to signature burgers, variety of French fry preps, fish & chips, chicken strips, sodas and milkshakes. I didn't pay attention initially to the placard for daily combos available between 11am-2pm. However, I ended up ordering a Gangnam BLT Burger and plain French fries. Passed on the soda can and opted for chilled water while dining onsite. I also placed a takeout order of Bulgogi fries for The Homie after I wrapped up my meal. My order was delivered to my two top, hot and fresh on a lined tray and was provided with a refrigerated ketchup squeeze container. Just remember to bus your table. Take out containers are provided upon request. The additional takeout order was nicely packaged in a box with ketchup, napkins, and an individually wrapped fork in a stapled and secured paper bag. Omg packed full of flavor...toasted buns, thick, juicy hand formed patty, bacon strips, fresh vegies (lettuce, tomato & onion), love the cilantro pesto, despite me slathering on the ketchup. Each bite was succulent and delicious! The takeout order was also well received and remained warm driving back north. Generous bulgogi patty meat placed on top of the hot, crisp fries and sauces drizzled as the final touch. Attentive staff, since I was checked on three times while onsite. Amazing quality and greatest bang for one's buck in today's economy!

Great new place near Costco! My son LOVED this Kowboy burger combo with well seasoned fries, I tried the Umami burger with the kimchi coleslaw. Clean, bright and welcoming interior, fast service. Seems like a great addition to the industrial district.

The owner is so kind and sweet. They opened since January. It's right next to the Costco so I highly recommend stopping by before you go shopping! Burgers are reasonably priced at $12-15 each. Excited to try something so close to me. I often have to go to Seoul burger in Tacoma for Korean burger options!

They have so many different Korean signature burgers! Loved the Korean spicy chicken burger and the yuzu tartare sauce on the yuzu wave burger was delicious! Gangnam fries had ground beef and bacon! They make their patties in house!!! Milkshakes aren't powder and also not overly sweet! Fries are nice and crispy. Plenty of parking and the owners are super friendly!

I had a hamburger and then bought a coffee milk shake to go. The hamburger was Delicious and the milk shake was very fresh and not too sweet.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, and even though their kitchen was backed up with orders, they did their best to serve us quickly and the food was still top notch. The marine-like atmosphere was also fun and made dinner really casual and enjoyable. We got some of the best sellers, the bo la lot, the ma la beef cheek noodles, and the Hokkien wok noodles, and they were all a hit. I enjoyed the different Asian-fusion dishes they had from different cultures as well as their wide selection of drinks. The dishes were all very rich and flavorful, and you get a good amount to share for the price. It was the perfect place to eat while chatting and catching up with a friend. I really enjoyed my meal here and will definitely make the trip out here again.

As mentioned in other reviews, we also experienced a unique and relaxed atmosphere. They had some good local draft options to get started - which is good. We ordered the Bo La Lot Grilled Beed in Betel Leaf for an appetizer and we loved the combination of ingredients and taste. Our brides ordered the Chaca La Vong Wok Seared Tumeric Rockfish and they both enjoyed it. My son ordered the Pad Kee Mao and I went with the Reckless Fried Rice and we both devoured them! Our waitress (her name wasn't on the receipt) was outstanding....super friendly and patient with all of our questions regarding the menu.

The mango salad was good - very fresh, a good balance of fish-based sauce, and a huge portion. I also tried my friend's duck curry, which had a crispy skin and was a well balanced curry. The drinks here are fun too. I had the pandan cream cocktail and it was incredibly flavorful and I could tell they used real pandan. Service was a bit slow though. It was a Wednesday evening and there weren't a ton of customers. However I'd still highly recommend you give this place a try!

The wontons were nice and tender, flavored with shrimp and pork. It was like a warm hug. Hit the spot! Second, I ordered the crispy spicy fish. It was an extraordinary presentation even my Chef friend was delighted to see the culinary expertise of the Chef. And it was also very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They were very welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is super upscale. It looks like a fancy club. This would be a great place to bring a first date. A great place to go with family or your lover. The all you can eat concept drew me here hahah. it is hard to find a solid "all you can eat" restaurant that is not only worth the price & location but also worth the food. You come in, choose your selection (per person that is) of what menu food you want (ranging from $35 to $45) and you're set. Though you have small portions, you can choose more if need be until you're full. If you're ever in Seattle, try this gem out. You'll love it. The only minor thing i didn't like about this place is the hype of Wagyu beef. I ordered the menu with wagyu and when i ate from the wagyu menu, it was ok, it wasn't the best. I finally realized that wagyu comes in different tiers, ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most delicious and of course more expensive (which i don't think they offer here). 5 also has the most fatty and delicious wagyu that just melts in your mouth. I think this was a tier 2 or 1. That's all hehe.

Back to my rave: this place is comfy and a great place to just sit in when it's chilly outside. There's a comfy couch near the entrance, many knickknacks strewn around the inside and it's brightly lit to the point where you feel like you're at home instead of a cafe. The owner of the place is very sweet and welcoming, and the pastries shown around the area looked so delicious. For this visit, my friend and I got the Thai green tea latte, key lime tea, egg tart and a slice of tiramisu crepe cake. The egg tart was warm and yummy, and quite big too so it has a mochi-like layer inside it. The tiramisu crepe cake had tons of layers of crepe and cream along with the tiramisu powder sprinkled on top. This was creamy, delightful and calming all around, that's how good this cake was! My key lime tea is a mix of Thai tea and fresh lime juice, and I'm surprised that neither part interfered with each other too much given one is sweet and the other relatively sour. The Thai green tea latte was just as great to drink. This place is so cozy and cute, and the owner gave us great service. When you do find parking, come here for some drinks and desserts, it'll be worth it!

On the bright side, there's a clean washroom, the space is small but cozy, and they have wifi plus available. Solid spot to lounge. Would consider coming back crossing my fingers for a crepe cake. Strawberry Snowie Frappe - it's a solid dessert. Very sweet and likely double blended because it's not super icy, rather the liquid collects at the bottom. However the icy blend at the top wasn't watery either, there was still some flavor. Overall, it was as expected, but a decent refresher on this street.

I really liked the fried chicken dish and the kari Kari. The breading of the chicken was super crunchy and the kiki gravy was a nice add to the dish but mind you it was a very filling dish. The Kari Kari was very tender and a bit hard on the edges that almost resembled the texture of beef jerky. The shrimp paste and peanut sauce combination was also delicious and umami. We also ordered the pork belly arugula salad and liked it. Since we ordered so much meat we wanted a dish that balanced out, hence we got the fish that was cooked well and sauce was tangy and refreshing. The fish dish was the least impressive though. I heard this place also changes its menu based on the different seasons. I'd love to come back at another time to check out different menu items. This place is definitely more on the expensive side though, especially since they automatically added a 22% service charge and still prompted us to add additional tips.
