Deeeeeeeelicious!! Stopped by last night to order take out. The restaurant is very small and nothing fancy, but clean and the person at the counter was nice and helpful. We ordered bone-in Yangyeom and Soy Garlic, and Shake Shake Fries with Herb and Cheese. The one thing we didn't care for was the herb and cheese powder, so we just had the fries plain--and they were so crispy and delicious. And the chicken?! Unbelievable. So crispy, juicy, sticky, flavorful... mmmm. Loved it. Can't wait to go again and try other flavors! read more

New to my taste buds! The cheese dust.... was pm point! The fact the chicken was KRISPY AND SAUCE PERFECT. Even a day later... perfect! The service was informative and the cost...spot on!! read more

3.9/5 Had a strong craving for Korean fried chicken. My go to spot was closed so decided to give chicko a try and it was a nice alternative. Pretty on par with average Korean chicken spots in WA Service - service was great. The girl behind the counter and a nice smile and was patient as we contemplated which options to go with. She actually asked us if we wanted to sample the different sauces so we tried most of them. It was a bit of a wait once we ordered but everything is fried to order so understandable. Ambiance - definitely a grab and go type of restaurant. they have 3 tables inside if you decide to eat in but it's really not set up for dine in. Food - overall we enjoyed it. We had the buldak, soy garlic and cheese snow. They have 3 different spicy options that for the most part all tasted the same. There was a spicy soy garlic that was delicious but last minute opted for the non spicy soy garlic (which we hadn't sampled) and the standard soy garlic was sort of lacking flavor. The cheese snow which is basically a cheese powder was really delicious and our overall favorite. Here's the problem. We ordered bone in wings for all 3 flavors. Our cheese snow box had 1 GIANT drumstick and random boneless pieces of chicken. It really looked like they just fried whatever they had left. Flavor was fine just chicken was janky. Overall it was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if I was in the area and needed a KFC fix. read more

My brother-in-law told me and my husband about this place since he knows how much my husband loves fried chicken and how much I love Korean food. We ordered two dozen chicken. We got two flavors: One bucket is Buldak and the other is Cheese and Vegetable. I don't even remember which one I like more but they're both delicious! The chicken was moist, the batter was not too thick, and the sauce/seasoning was perfect! Now that I'm writing this review, I'm craving their chicken again! I'm excited to order chicken from them again and try their other flavors. read more

A new Korean chicken place opened up near me, yay! It is located in a plaza filled with other restaurants and grocery stores so parking is really convenient. I discovered this place as I frequent this plaza and looking at the menu outside I decided to place an order for togo. It took about 15-20 minutes for them to make, and I wasn't disappointed! I ordered half and half of the regular fried chicken and yangnyeom (I think I spelled that right). Outside was perfectly crispy, inside was really juicy. I wish they didn't charge for the side of radish though, other than that, everything tasted good! I also got the soy garlic wings before and it was good as well. I always order the wings only option. My go to spot for Korean wings when I'm craving. read more

Seems like a new chicken place in Burien, and I really enjoyed it. They have a good variety of chicken options, and I liked that you can order half sizes too. The spicy chicken comes with levels 1-3, which is nice depending on how spicy you want it. The staff were kind, and everything is fried to order, so there's about a 15-minute wait, but the chicken comes out fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of parking available. read more

Consistently good chicken! We have had it several times now and the flavors are good! My husband's favorite spot in the area. The only thing he wishes is that the pickled radish was included in the order like other Korean fried chicken spots. read more

Came to try this place for lunch. I came in and at first no one came to help me. Someone showed up and apologized. I ordered a 9 piece wing in soy garlic sauce and a coke. She ended up comping the soda which was nice. The classic KFC crunch is there and so satisfying to bite into. The chicken was moist and juicy and well cooked. The sauce was sweet with a hint of soy, but I couldn't find the garlic. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. read more

I was so excited to find Chicko Chicken here in Seattle, so of course I had to stop by the Burien location-- and it did not disappoint. The flavor was just as amazing as I remembered. I ordered the soy garlic, and wow... that perfect balance of sweet and savory is unbeatable. Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. If you like milder heat, this is the absolute best choice. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the whole place felt clean and welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

Chicko Chicken in Burien is bomb! Got a great deal on their chicken through an instagram offer at the end of the year and it made our first visit even better. Chicken was juicy and packed with flavor. The staff was very accommodating with questions and requests. There was some tables for dine in for some patrons. We ordered to go and ate with the family at home! read more

I am even more of a fan on my 2nd visit. Both the boneless and bone in were good. Tried a new sauce called herb cheese and I liked it. If you think cheese snow is too sweet, try the herb cheese. Portions are good and a full size order can feed 2 average adults. read more

The fried chicken there was really good, I'd recommend the Herb & Cheese chicken and the shake shake fries.

This order was a takeout. Very nice and friendly staff, service was on time. This is the spot for Korean fried chicken. I was very satisfied with the chicken. The Yangyeom chicken was sweet and spicy. It was a perfect crunchy texture and the sauce didn't make it soggy. The Cheese Snow chicken was savory and sweet and cheesy of course. It was coated perfectly the chicken was juicy and not dry. Next time will comeback and dine in for sure. read more

This was a random pick when getting into town. A surprisingly really good pick. Drove up from Seattle for a weekend and saw this place on yelp. Thought it had good ratings and we were in the mood for fried chicken why not make it Korean. Got the garlic soy, yangyeom, and buldak. The buldak was too spicy for the other two people I was with but it was my level of spice. I want to try the spicier one next time when I'm not having to share. Will definitely pay this place another visit when I'm in town. read more

Chicko Chicken Burien - Menu - Korean Near Me - Burien, Washington

Happy that there's a Korean Fried Chicken spot close by for those days where the craving is real but I don't wanna drive too far out for it. It's conveniently located in the Burien Plaza so there's plenty of parking. The inside has a few tables but if you're a party is bigger than 4, expect to sit at different tables or potentially combine the tables if they'll let you. The staff was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The food was piping hot and the pieces were huge! Each bite came with a loud crunch and the inside was juicy. We definitely enjoyed the Cheese Snow flavor and it was very nostalgic of flavors back home in Asia. The Soy Garlic was good but felt as though the glaze could be a bit thicker as the soy garlic flavor wasn't super prominent in it. The fries also had a good balance of crisp outside and soft potato inside. Will definitely want to come back to try the other flavors. read more

This is THE best place for fried chicken! Their food is always delicious. At other places consistency is often an issue but at Chicko's the chicken is always fresh and made to order. I love the variety of flavors they offer. The only thing to mention is that I wish they offered rice on their menu as we love our korean fried chicken with a side of rice vs. fries! That being said, this is a tiny critique. Do yourself a favor and get this chicken, you will not regret it! read more

Chicko Chicken came up as a Yelp notification, so after exploring the reviews and the menu he had to try it. Our 1st time here we had great service and great chicken! We tried the the bone-in Buldak and Sweet Potato Fries. Fries were crispy and good; sometimes sweet potato fries can be limp and oily. The chicken was crispy with a thick sticky, decently spicy sauce. The sauce is not just heat, it has a complex flavor. The only negative I have is the cocktail napkins for such a messy food. You definitely have to try this gem in Burien that you might just drive by. read more

The cheese shake fries are so good. But I find the honey butter is kind weird- it tastes like vanilla sweet cream.

AMAZING!!!!! We're very particular about fried chicken. This was definitely top-tier down to the different flavors and the crispiness of the chicken. The customer service matched!! read more

Chicko Chicken did not disappoint! It's located in a spacious shopping center with plenty of parking. We ordered half & half and selected the Cheese Snow and Yangyeom flavors. Despite not eating it right away and bringing our take-out home to Federal Way about 20-25 minutes away, the chicken was surprisingly still crispy and juicy! The pieces are also larger than other Korean chicken shops that I have been to. I really liked the Cheese Snow flavor, but did not think the Yangyeom flavor was memorable, so I would probably pick something else next time. Overall, I had a great first experience and can't wait for the Federal Way location to open! read more

Been wanting to check this place out since it's close by. Ordered to-go. Very easy to order online and pick it up at a certain time! (: They were fast and friendly! The chicken was really good. In terms of the chicken, it was really good. The pieces were big and the flavoring was nice. My favorite was the haek buldak because it was actually spicy! The cheese snow was pretty good too. It reminded me of Cheetos dust! I also ordered the French fries. They were actually really good and crispy. The only complaints I have is I wish they had some sauces on the side they could sell and their pickled radish is on the smaller side... You prob have to buy like 3-4 larges if you like the pickles. You should def try this place out if you're craving KFC (Korean fried chicken)! read more

Whew, chicko chicken is hella good! Tried the Soy Gungjang and Buldak flavors, and the sauces were delicious on that super crunchy batter. The veggie cheese fries were good too; the seasoning is an herb and cheese dry powder that you toss the fries in... it reminded me of the Okarto chips. Yum!! This place is in the same plaza as Safeway and UPS in Burien. It's on the L&L side. Lots of parking in this plaza, but be prepared to wait 15 mins because the chicken is fried to order. Worth it! read more

Yum! Love the yangyeom (sweet and only mildly spicey) and the herb and chicken. The regular French fries are nice and crunchy and a generous portion. The only complaint I have...is why isn't this restaurant in West Seattle . My daughter recommended this place and I decided to check it out. Very clean establishment and the customer service was impeccable. I asked for comparisons on the spice level, specifically the Haek Buldak. The young lady offered me a sample of the sauce and that was a real decision maker. I ordered bone in Yangyeom. Sweet flavor and 1 star spice. If you only use salt and pepper to spice your food, this is too hot for you. If you like a sweet with a little heat, tgis is perfect. I also ordered boneless but in the Haek Buldak. I sampled that sauce also. If you cannot handle spicy, do not order this flavor. The heat will be too much. Know your place and this is not the time to be brave. The chicken is perfectly seasoned amd covered with the right amount of sauce. Please note that your chicken is fried when you ordered so it will take 15 to 20 min before your order is ready. Go next door to grocery shop or get a smoothie to kill the time. Lastly, the quality and quantity is worth the reasonable prices. read more

We ordered both the seasoned and original chicken, but the chicken was not cooked evenly. Some parts were extremely overcooked, making it very difficult to eat. It didn't just feel overcooked--it tasted like old chicken. Our child found it too tough to chew and ended up not eating it at all, choosing another menu item instead. The wings are very good! I ordered naked wings and the Korean sauce that's spicy on the side definitely the best!

A good solid Korean fried chicken place. The store is bright and clean. Located in a small shopping complex right off the 518 in Burien. Ordering online is easy and convenient. Even ordering in-person is very easy and the staff member was careful to explain the flavors. He even offered sample of the sauce to help me make a decision. My usual go-to is yangnyeom chicken and cheese snow. The chicken is always perfectly fried and comes out juicy. The menu is pretty simple and only offers chicken along with a few sides. A definite must try and on made it onto my "regular" spots to eat. read more
