The Clean with Tom Yum spicy soup
    Mae D.

OH MY GOD! If you haven't tried Bangkok Roosters, what are you doing?!? I have been eying them since I saw they were at the commissary kitchen off Delridge by the library. I believe they are only open Thursday -Sunday from 5pm to 11:30pm. I ordered The Clean: Sous Vide poached chicken breast, ginger rice, a side of cucumber, cilantro paired with a homemade soybean ginger sauce and sweet dark soy sauce too. Trust me, you wanna pour the ginger sauce over the chicken and then I dip the chicken into the dark soy. So so yummy! The chicken is very moist and tender, the rice is super flavorful, the cucumber and cilantro adds a bit of freshness, just absolute perfection. You even get a side of broth, the choices are spicy tom yum or daikon broth. I chose the tom yum, it has mild spice, and had some mushrooms and cilantro in it. It's was delicious too. My boyfriend got the Signature Bangkok Wings which are deep fried and glazed with their special Bangkok Rooster's basil sauce, a hint of spice, and topped with fried shallots. It took a bit and they were crispy and VERY flavorful! Would definitely be back and try their other menu items. You can easily order online on their website and you pick up at the commissary window, where you call or text them that you're in front of the window. I already cannot wait to come back. I hope they keep that location (walking distance to me) until they get their own brick and mortar because they need to open one they are so delicious, how could you resist? Thank you for this delicious meal and I'll be back very soon!

Bangkok Roosters - West Seattle Hidden Gem! I've been wanting to try Bangkok Roosters for a long time, but since they open only in the evenings and I live far away, I never had the right timing--until today! I got off work just as they opened, so I finally stopped by. And wow... totally worth the wait! I ordered the Hainanese chicken combo (boiled + fried chicken over rice), and it was amazing. * The rice was fragrant and soft, just like the real deal in Thailand. * The boiled chicken was juicy and tender, with generous portions. * The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. * All the traditional sauces were included, and the flavors were spot on. * Bonus: You get to choose between two soups--classic clear broth or a spicy tom yum version. Both were delicious, but the tom yum was a fun twist! The shop is to-go style, but they have several tables out front if you want to sit and eat there. The owner, Som, is super sweet--she's a Delta flight attendant bringing a taste of home to Seattle If you're ever in West Seattle, go check it out! Authentic Thai comfort food you don't want to miss. #BangkokRoosters #WestSeattleEats #ThaiFoodSeattle #HainaneseChicken #SupportThaiBusiness

The BEST chicken rice in Seattle. Very great service mind even if we eat and eat on the street. The owners are very nice and kind.

This place is amazing!! Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken & noodles, chicken & jasmine rice, crab Rangoon & the deep fried banana bites!! My girl also ordered the tofu & she loved it! Certain places I can tell there's true TLC when preparing their meals & this place does that! They added a hand written note that was so nice! Who does that anymore? This place is delicious & we highly recommend!

It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

My friend and I walked in at 9:20 (~40 mins before closing) and got a seat at the bar. They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, we got pretty lucky to get a walk in spot but the place was totally filled. A nice place for an upscale meal with a friend or a date!

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
