Pineapple fried rice with "extra" pineapple and garlic.
Jack W.

Placed a pick-up order for two and left disappointed. My wife's medium-spice green curry with extra veggies was fine, but my pineapple fried rice really missed the mark. Even after paying extra for extra pineapple, I only got six tiny tidbit pieces. The rice itself was mushy, with no fried texture or crispy edges, and "medium spice" had no heat at all. I also added beef, came with thin dry flavorless strips. There was an up charge for this as well. The highlights were the Thai teas and spring rolls--crispy, hot, and flavorful. But at $90 for a homey/hole-in-the-wall style spot, the quality just didn't match the price. Buyer beware.

I didn't enjoy that...

My benchmark is Pad Thai and Bua 9 pulled it off perfectly - with the added choice of spice, on the scale 1 - 5 (I went for 4 and it was robust) Wonderful cheerful service which is typical of the lovely people from Thailand The lunch special at $14.95 is a steal, and it includes a small bowl of vegetable soup which is a perfect foil to the punchy taste of the noodles A simple, clean environment, with a steady stream of customers (obviously local regulars) picking up to go orders I was definitely NOT disappointed, and I don't think you will be eithe

Great late night Thai spot!! The food is so-so, but it's open late w a special late menu

Mango Sticky Rice
Sunny Y.

Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. The food was fairly average 3/5 with a bump up for service. Ordered: Pad see ew- This veered towards a really sweet profile. Green Beans- Not too bad, but lacked a depth of flavor. Papaya salad- This turned out quite wet. Pineapple fried rice- Also a bit one note on curry powder, but nice pairing with the pineapple. Mango sticky rice- classic! Mango was sweetish, on par for the time of year.

Crab delight

Clean establishment. A little old, and feels like a hole in the wall/mom and pop kind of restaurant. When my boyfriend and I went we were the only customers at around 3:30-4pm on a Sunday so service was very speedy. We got crab Rangoon, pad see ew and pad Thai. I know, we're very adventurous people. Crab rangoon had a lot more cream cheese than imitation crab so I would've liked to see more imitation crab. I liked the plum sauce it came with Both noodle dishes tasted fine but nothing spectacular. I can't handle spicy food well and got a 2 out of 5 spice level and thought it was fine. My boyfriend who can handle spicy got a 3 and wished he got higher. Serving sizes are good and we had some leftovers to take home. My only complaint was probably the price. It was $18 for most of the noodle dishes on the menu (including one that uses ramen noodles as the base), but for the atmosphere and quality, I'd expect to pay around $14. But I guess rent and costs to operate are expensive

Thai Trout Salad

Always good friendly service and they don't have her over you. Today I tried a new dish. I got the trout salad and it was amazing.! Lots of bright intense flavors of garlic, lime chili peppers. The trout is battered and deep-fried and then seasoned with all those tasty good things. The atmosphere is casual with lots of windows. Street parking available. Another dish I like is there basil basil. Lots of vegetables and meat of your choice with more fantastic flavors.

Mango sticky rice

Soooo deliciousss my favorite thai restaurant in Seattle. Always come here when I'm visiting the city. The people working here is so friendly too. I didn't like the mango sticky rice that much. But love the fried rice and the crab delight

Noi Thai Cuisine is where my Thai best friend and I go whenever she is in town! It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Everything was solid, but the portions were on the smaller side. Compared to other Thai places, it runs a little pricier without being noticeably better on the food side. Service (5/5): We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff were friendly throughout our meal. If you're planning to visit during peak weekend hours, I definitely recommend booking ahead. Overall: It's a great place if you're looking for a nice, modern environment, but you're mostly paying for the upscale setting rather than the food itself.

I even ordered crispy garlic chicken at my typical local Thai restaurant to try to re-live the magic and all it did was make me miss Fern Thai even more. When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

My friend and I walked in at 9:20 (~40 mins before closing) and got a seat at the bar. They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, we got pretty lucky to get a walk in spot but the place was totally filled. A nice place for an upscale meal with a friend or a date!

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
