    drunken noodle with tofu

this thai option at the commissary kitchen in mid-delridge has generous portions and great flavors! it took me calling twice to get someone to answer but once that happened and i had placed my order, the food was ready for pick up within 15 min! i'm sure that rapid turnaround won't always be the case and that they are more slammed on some nights than others but the fact their prices are reasonable and the phad kee mao (drunken noodles) absolutely hit the mark in terms of flavor profile and consistency, they have my loyalty. plain and simple, this place is going to get a lot of my business moving forward. you should check them out! (and fyi, they don't have a doorbell/ button on the panel at the front of the building alongside other businesses that occupy the space; when you arrive, go to the take out window and you may need to get someone's attention in the back, but that's how it worked for me to actually procure the food.)

So let me put yall on real quick! Chicchic Thai is the been knees, the food is A-Ma-Zing! Oh my gosh, I ordered from here because my usual spot stops taking orders after a certain time, and I missed the cutoff by 2 minutes, but I'm so glad I did. My kids got the Phad See Ew and that's normally my go to, but tonight I was feeling spicy and wanted to try something new. I went with the Drunken Noodles (Phad Kee Mao). All 3 of us opted for 3 star spice, and I feel like they're the first restaurant I've been too, that 3 stars is actually 3 stars. I don't know, it's tricky balance honestly, but they definitely hit the bullseye! Back to the food though, it was so flavorful and sooo good, I was actually trying to force myself to eat more than I could. The portion sizes are pretty big, they give you a lot of food! I accepted the fact I was full, but I look forward to eating the rest tomorrow! I actually ordered this from a commissary kitchen, so while you can't really get a feel of the ambiance, the service was quick and the staff seem pretty friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning to try their other menu items Drunken Noodles -- is a 10/10 Phad See Ew -- I didn't personally have this, but I did try a little. From what I tried, I'd give it an 8.9/10 SN: The dishes look pretty similar, but the ingredients are a bit different.

This was odd. The food was great. New neighborhood and we had a hankering for Thai. This catchy-named business came up on my feed for West Seattle Thai restaurants. The menu looked good (though limited). Maybe at the end of the day, I would advise ordering delivery. Here is why: my husband went to pick up the food that I had ordered online. When he called me, he said "This is a place someone goes to get jumped". Maybe it's just not knowing the neighborhood...but this was a little spooky. It didn't seem to have a sign at all and it was dark - not sure if this is a classic "sit down" restaurant at all, but it seemed to be maybe a commisarry kitchen? Like maybe a few restaurants share a kitchen? When he arrived, there was a dark green building with a bunch of buzzers (kind of like doorbells). The idea is that you press the button and eventually someone comes to give you the food out of the window. I've attached a photo. Restaurants are expensive to run, and I appreciate the ingenuity of a shared kitchen, but showing up at 9:30 at night to a place with no sign or any kind of information is sketchy. Maybe they need to do a better job of explaining what to expect. The important part: The food was good. Reasonably priced. We had the Crispy Tamarind Shrimp (we paid extra for more shrimp and we were pleased with the amount), and TomYum soup and two small green salads for less than $40. That's pretty great. Be aware that if you do order online for delivery, expect more expensive menu pricing and delivery and service fees, that for us was going to be almost $20. Way too much. Photos from Google Maps.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered the green chicken curry, level 3 spice still had the perfect kick. It was packed full of chicken and veggies. Really flavorful. Washed down with the perfect Thai tea. Looking forward to trying more of your food!

We started with a Lilikoi Margarita and Ginger Martini as well as Fresh Garden Rolls, which were quite generous in size (4 large pieces) and very good. Drinks were very good! We enjoyed Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Pad Thai is a staple and was good, but if you want something that has a ton of flavor and a nice mix of noodles and veggies, check out their drunken noodle dish Pad Kee Mao. Appreciate you can customize heat level as well. Overall the vibe in this place is awesome! We had hoped to sit outside, but didn't make reservations, so were sat in the back dining area. It was very hot back there - not sure that is an everyday type thing, but next time I go I would wait for a different part of the restaurant than sit there. Service was super quick and attentive!

I will say, they were playing insane music on a Monday at 4:30pm. It was just screeching EDM- so eclectic that Shazam had no idea what was going on. Made it hard to carry a conversation. Also, whenever it is someone's birthday, they do a loud performance that disrupts the entire restaurant. Fun for a weekend for sure, but not my vibe for a Monday happy hour. Always love their fresh rolls! Big and filled to the brim with goodness. Their peanut sauce is great too, though we noticed that the peanut sauce that came with the satay was much spicier. The drinks are great too. Lots of fun concoctions. I got the lilikoi margarita and was very happy with it. Our waiter was attentive but really didn't know how to use their POS system and we were there trying to pay for a while since he could not figure it out. If you want amazing comfort food, get takeout, if you like the party vibe, go in.

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

The place is gorgeous, especially the patio, and the staff were absolute pros at wrangling us to a table. The meal was a hit across the board: my husband's tofu curry and my daughter's drunken noodles and rolls were all fantastic. My fresh tofu soup was admittedly a bit "Zen" (read: plain), but I'm a fan of that understated vibe. The real star, though? The black rice pudding. It was so good I actually stopped to admire the decorative bowl it came in--a sign of a truly elite dessert. My son, however, ordered the fried chicken and was thrown into a brief existential crisis when it arrived with a sweet sauce. He was fully prepared for a savory-crunchy showdown, and the menu wording clearly didn't get the memo. He's still recovering, but the rest of us left very happy.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
