Those of you who know me, know I rarely give five stars, but Pho Aroma deserves the five! We have never been disappointed here! This is our favourite pho restaurant! The food is amazing, rich and delicious! The people who own the place are just as happy to see you as the wait staff! We love when we get opportunity to come for our favourite lunch! Plus, there is nothing like being acknowledged and welcomed in especially after being away for a long time! We have had so much medical stuff to deal with we have not been in since Covid, but they remembered us, and our order! They knew I'm allergic to cilantro! To be remembered in such a way means so much! Today I made the mistake of saying my hubby would have a regular crepe, but our waiter knew we didn't want pork and shrimp! He caught my mistake! Atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and has warm colors. Really appreciate that they pad the ends of their chairs so the chairs don't screech when moved. Service could be more attentive as I had to ask for plates for appetizer and water refill. The fried egg roll appetizer came with 2 egg rolls and was a steep price, tasted ok, and not worth the price. The grilled combination plate was ok. The grilled pork and shrimp tasted good but the grilled chicken wasn't flavorful. i want to update my review from 2 years ago. i've been coming to this little spot for 2 years and lived and tried many, many other pho places since. the most standout thing about the pho is the meat quality and cut. it's excellent. the broth is rich and has a deeper flavor than others i've tried. i also love their chicken and rice with fried egg. i get an extra serving of chicken and it's good for 2 meals or the perfect meal after the gym (gym bros take note). such a gem of a spot!! read more

This spot is a little treasure in North Delridge. Service was timely and they have a menu with pho, vermicelli and rice bowl options. They even have a "kids meal" option of pho, which a nice small individual bowl of pho with meatballs and no green onion or cilantro. If you have kids, you know this is basically the standard kid pho order. It also includes an apple juice! I got the combo vermicelli bowl, with includes a bed of veggies and vermicelli topped with 1 spring roll and a sampling of grilled meats - shrimp, chicken and pork - with a side of fish sauce. When we walked in, we were greeted and the service was super nice. I got the brisket pho as did my husband. The broth was pretty good, and the cuts of meat weren't fatty (which is a big one for me). Friendly neighborhood pho place. The veggie pho comes with plenty of tofu and broccoli and bok choy and mushrooms - the freshness of the veggies sets this place apart from other area shops. I also often get the pork vermicelli bowl which has delicious and flavorful meat. When I'm around during the day I've gotten the banh mi which are cheap, large, and delicious. The pork was burnt and over cooked, the dressing had way too much fish sauce, the peanut dressing for fresh rolls is now mixed with chili sauce? Not good. The burrito diaries... part 3: Twas a Thursday eve and after a long day of light physical labor I had a hankering for a burrito. So I hoped on my shred stick, and went to the gaggle of food truck at that one spot in DR where all the foodtrucks are. There was one with pictures of burrito on it and the soft neon glow of an "OPEN" sign Illuminati all of the clearly closed doors and hatches. I talked to a man. A passerby. A consultant and confidente. Someone to clairify my befuddlement. He did his best but ultimately turned out to be an uberEats whose English was evasive. Só, I did an about face, a full 189 degree turn and there it was... the Aroma, the Pho Arome. Wafting through my pores into my very soul. After 15 mins of rummaging through my ski jackets pockets, I put on a mask and entered. The ambiance was quintessential essencial delridge, tables, chairs, lighting, and of course all the items you might expect to find in a restaurant. At one table was a man filling little plastic to-go cups with little amounts of sauces. There was a couple on what felt like a second date. I've witnessed my fair share of sauce distribution, so I decided to sit the very back facing the other patrons. As I sat down at 7:45, the waiter Informed my they close at 8. I told him I would eat quick and ordered the pho. And I did, and it was excellent and that's why I left a 5 star review. read more

I've had the veggie pho here before but tonight I tried the lemongrass tofu and I was extremely glad I did!. Perfectly cooked and seasoned tofu with broccoli and bok choy, my favorite. I completely agree with a previous 3 star review written by Pablo. This place was overall very mediocre. Nothing overly terrible, just simply meh. Spring rolls themselves were a great texture but the sauce...not my cup of tea at all. Tasted like sweet and sour sauce mixed with peanut sauce. A very weird combo that lead me to use hoisin sauce instead for the spring rolls. I had a large pho tai chin. Broth was more sweet and tasted a bit watery. Noodles were oddly crumbly. If you have ever tried to reheat pho with the same noodles in the broth, it had that same kind of texture. Not very much meat either. Not all that satisfying but it did the trick enough. My boyfriend had the Bo luc lac. It was more flavorful and cooked well. But it kind of tasted like generic Chinese food. Service was also just okay. Felt a little rushed but they were polite and efficient. Personally, I would stick to some pho restaurants that are only 8-10 minutes south of this spot. I think they have a few designated spots though next to the building. We ordered: - fried egg rolls - 3 large bowls of pho I had to ask for extra lettuce for the egg rolls, and they only serve you two eggrolls, but they were delicious. The pho was great too.
