Kind of easy to miss from the outside at first. Came in for lunch with the family. It's a self order, then grab a seat kind of place. The place isn't too big with some tables and stool/standing seating. Was excited to see they had bun bo hue, so I had to get it. It was a huge bowl with a good variety of veggies to add. The appearance looked good, but unfortunately, the taste was alright. The noodles weren't cooked all the way. The broth was sweet like a pho broth and was missing the shrimpy and lemon grass flavor. I will admit though that the bowl kept me full until the night time! Their ca phe sua da is very strong! My dad couldn't even drink it so I took it. I couldn't finish it either. read more

What an incredible experience. I used to work downtown in the Smith tower and would have been able to come here almost every day had that continued. This place has only been open for about a year now one of the employees told me. What a hidden gem in Pioneer Square. Met a friend here for lunch today. We both had the banh mi dip and a side of six shrimp spring rolls. We came in the middle of their lunch rush, but they are very quick and efficient and we didn't wait more than seven or eight minutes. Seating inside the place is a little bit tight, but they have several large tables and no one seems to mind if you share their space. Wait staff was very friendly and kept the lobby and seating area clean. The food was delicious. The sandwich was incredibly tasty and the side dipping sauce made it even better. I look forward to my next visit and highly encourage all my friends to visit and try this place. read more

The flavor in the broth for BOTH the bahn mi drip AND BBH hot pot were phenomenal. It was so addicting, I was full and i STILL kept trying to eat more. I'm not from Seattle, but whenever I'm back, I'll definitely hit Saigon Drip Cafe up. Service was amazing, too. Props to Kevin, he kept checking in to make sure we were good and was super chill and gave recommendations for our trip around Seattle. WORTH THE VISIT. read more

Really wanted to love this place, but just didn't. The food: I've never in my life seen "market price" hot pot. Like what in the world? The bahn mi dip was greasy, but good. It didn't come with pickled veggies inside though, you have to pay for those separately. All it comes with is cilantro and onions by request. For the food on its own, 4 stars. The place is small, but bright. However, the chairs don't have backs on them, which can be challenging for people who have back issues, have coats (no coat hooks anywhere either), or have handbags (probably many of us) - at least provide a basket or something? We ordered two drinks - one limeade regular and one limeade salted. When they were brought to us, server had no idea which was which and acted like it was crazy we'd ask him or expect him to know. Wtf? Finally, it's another one of those order yourself at a kiosk at the counter, get your name called to get your food, then bus yourself places, but still has 18% as the minimum tip option. read more

10/10. Food, Environment, Service, etc. First time here and I'm so glad I came across it during my morning running errands. I ordered the "Most Popular" Banh Mi Drip (w/side of Bone Marrow Soup). I added some Hoisin Sauce and Chili Oil in my sandwich that they had on the tables - Phenomenal. Definitely taking people here that visit from back home! They have a cafe and a kitchen right around the corner that looks like it's being built still if I'm not mistaken. Seating is more of a free for all, so get cozy - wasn't an issue for me!Theres also the plaza outside with seating as well! read more

We went on Sunday during lunch and it seems like a busy time to go. There is Limited seating but overall it's a small cute shop with great decoration. This is basically a self order place, but the owner was very attentive. I appreciate the owner ensuring the table is clean for customers who are waiting for a seat to get a table quickly. This place was recommended by some friends; my food wasn't the best. I ordered the Pork Vermicelli Plate, portion was Ok but for the price I was expecting more and the flavor was missing. The pork was a bit dry for me and I didn't get any Fish Sauce for the dish. My friend ordered the Chicken Bowel and it came with Beef Broth, he mentioned the food was good but the broth was a bit salty for his taste and I agree. This place is the range: $$ read more

I recently placed an Uber Eats order for myself and a few coworkers, but only one out of the three meals was delivered. My supervisor and I tried calling the restaurant over 10 times to check if the missing food had been left behind, but none of our calls were answered. Eventually, I gave up and requested a refund through the Uber app for the two missing dishes. I just don't understand why the restaurant didn't answer the phone even once. read more

They were out of cream and milk so I couldn't get a thai tea, but I checked in on Yelp, and I got a free appetizer! I had the eggrolls, shrimp spring rolls, and a chicken banh mi. The eggrolls come with lettuce and side veggies to wrap the eggrolls with, which were delicious! The spring rolls were rolled and stuffed full, everything was delicious. Wonderful service and super cute inside. read more

This is one of my go-to places for lunch! It gets really busy at Noon, for a good reason, so I typically like to order online for pick up (easy to do on their website). My favorite thing to get is the vermicelli bowl with extra pickled diakon - yummm. The portions are huge so it can usually last me another meal. Service was great even though it was busy when I dined in for lunch. It was nice that the staff offered and brought us water. I recently made it in on the weekend and finally had the opportunity to try their Bun Bo Hue. THIS IS THE BEST BUN BO HUE I'VE EVER HAD! I shared the hot pot style bbh with the rib with a friend and we devoured it. What a great idea to make it hot pot style because it stayed hot and tasty the entire time we ate it. I'm a boiling point gal so I think food tastes best hot. The only change I'd personally make is to ask for more lime on the side for more sourness and a thai chili or two (if they have it) since I like it spicy. They do have a tasty chili-satay sauce on the table as well, but for this dish in particular, I like to add spice without the saltiness. I will have to try their banh mi's and pho next! read more

Holy crap, I had the best banh mi I've ever eaten from Saigon Drip Cafe! No, seriously. You need to eat here at this charming, trendy eatery in Pioneer Square, which serves the most delicious Vietnamese eats and has Vietnamese coffee! My colleague recommended Saigon Drip Cafe and mentioned that the banh mi was delicious. I was hesitant at first because I don't really like banh mis, which is crazy because I like sandwiches, but I guess I just never had a banh mi that made me a fan. Until now. Since Saigon Drip Cafe is conveniently close to my office, I decided to check it out for lunch and when I came here on a Friday around noon, the place was already packed. Almost every seat was taken when I visited, so get here early, folks, if you want to dine in during the lunch hour. The place is on the smaller side, too. I ordered the banh mi drip, which was the brisket banh mi with pate, onions, mayo in a toasted baguette AND, the best part is the side of beef bone marrow broth to dip it in and sip on! I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee with cheese foam and since I checked in on Yelp, I redeemed a free appetizer of my choosing, so of course I chose the popular fish sauce chicken wings. After you order and pay at the counter, an employee brings your order to you. And once my food came, everything was neatly packaged, in case I wanted to take any to go. But there were no leftovers to be had of this banh mi drip. I took one bite and was immediately hooked. HOOKED. First of all, the toasted baguette was incredibly fresh and was perfectly baked. I saw that they make the baguettes in house and I almost took a baguette home because this was so good! Plus, the brisket was sooo tender and delicious, and although the sandwich itself was simple, with not that many toppings, its simplicity is what makes it perfect because you really savor the brisket, especially when you dip it in the beef bone marrow broth. The broth is very flavorful, too, and comforting to sip. The fish sauce wings were enjoyed the next day, and they were solid. If you like fish sauce, it has that sticky, fishy, sweet glaze on perfectly fried chicken wings. I can see why people dig it. And you know the Vietnamese coffee with the cheese foam didn't disappoint. Strong coffee and I love the salty-sweet cheese foam. In addition to fantastic banh mis, they have a variety of phos, bowls, appetizers, and a bun bo hue, which they serve as family style and only on weekends. Ya gotta visit Saigon Drip Cafe for some bomb ass Vietnamese food. And since this is next to my office, it'll be an incentive for me to actually work in the office versus from home. Damn. read more

Saigon Drip was a newer try for me and has easily claimed the spot as my favorite Vietnamese spot in Seattle. Saigon Drip is a newer Vietnamese spot dedicated to empowering and building their community through their love for Vietnamese cuisine and culture. They focus on providing great service and food in hopes you'll have an unforgettable experience. It was inspiring to hear about their past experiences and how this has shaped their values and morals they carry in the restaurant today. They truly emphasize getting to know their customers and providing a welcoming community - almost as if you're family. Here's what I ordered: Caramelized Fish Sauce Wings: SUPER CRISPY and so well flavored. Bún bò Huế Hotpot: Some of the best BBH i've had in seattle. The broth was so deep and flavorful. I loved that they even included the shredded banana leaves, blood cubes and Vietnamese meatloaf Bánh mì Dip: So packed with goodness and the broth took it to another level They're also doing catering now, which you can place on their website (link in their instagram @saigondripcafe). Make their food the talk of your events! The restaurant itself was gorgeous. They have murals inspired by Vietnamese culture and cuisine. There is a good amount of seating, but from what I hear, the weekends can get busy! They also have paid street parking, which wasn't too hard for us to find. They use self-order kiosks, but the workers are rapidly available to answer any questions you may have about the menu! I will be back, and hope you all give this place a try too! read more

I came for my birthday not too long after this place opened and the food was excellent! I like the drink I had and how they put them into a bottle that looks like a big can of soda! I ordered another drink to go and an iced coffee. The iced coffee was delicious but way too strong for me as I am sensitive to caffeine. Parking is not good at all and we parked pretty far away and had to walk. There were a lot of homeless people around and construction but everyone was tending to their own business. The restaurant was super clean with a lot of drink offering but very little seating! It definitely feels like a to go kind of place. It has been awhile since we went but everything was delicious. I can't recall everything we ordered but we had a sandwich that came with broth to dip in, I think we had some wings, and then we had the big pho fountain thing they bring to your table like a hot pot! No complaints and hope to make it back these soon with some friends! read more

I ordered Bun Bo Hue bowl and the taste is very close to what a traditional bowl in VN is like. Broth is good but for the price of $32 after tax, I don't think it's worth it. My bowl came with the beef rips that had little to no meat to it. Also still very chewy and hard to eat. So I don't think it made up for the value part. Their menu items like Pho hot pot and Bun Bo Hue bowl are not suitable with the ambiance and the arrangement of this place. Its more like a grab and go and a few tables to sit where you will clean up after yourself. Not like a full dine in restaurant. For that reason I will not coming back because of its inconveniences. read more

What we ordered : 1 banh mi 2 brisket pho Banh mi was really good! I've never had a banh mi like this one. Meat was juicy tender & flavorful. It was very filling, definitely of my favorite banh mis in the city now :) I also love that it comes with a side of pho broth if you're debating between a pho and banh mi it's nice to have the side of broth to satisfy the craving. Pho was really good too, I like their broth & they give a good amount of noodles. I would definitely order again. Total came out to 58.92 after tip We ordered pick up so we didn't get much interaction but they did greet us so no complaints on the service. The space looked cool, I hope to come back and enjoy the space & dine in next time! read more

The restaurant is very clean with some cute decor and a few tables so it's definitely not meant to be a restaurant but more like a deli to sit down and grab something quick. When I looked at the price point, I think it's way too overpriced for Vietnamese foods. Although I understand rent in this area is not cheap but I don't think it can justify it. My banh mi costs around $15 and my husband rice bowl is a little bit more. They just taste ok so I'm not impressed yet. Bomb flavor - Hefty portions - Great Staff Was on the Yelp lookin for a quick lunch spot, this place popped up and I cannot stress enough how much this place is worth the stop!! I ordered the most popular - the Banh Mi drip. Brisket cooked so tender with grilled onion, cilantro, on a toasted baguette and even includes a side of tasty bone marrow broth to dip it all in...that's where the magic happens. The textures are perfect, the broth paired with the Banh Mi really brings out the goal of the dish. Those from Vietnam, I think this place will do you justice. I absolutely loved my foood. It's got the authentic flavors you're looking for and comes out quick, had my food and coffee in less than five minutes after ordering. Would absolutely recommend before a football game since you're so close to lumen field. It's perfect for a filling lunch but won't knock you down from being so full. Staff were super friendly and had the perfect recommendations. Other dishes and appetizers to choose from, make sure to try their imported coffee from Vietnam. Coffee....knocked it out of the park. To the chef...you're my hero lol. Stop by, you'll be missing out if you don't! read more

ordered banh mi and banh mi drip. banh mi drip was truly one of the BEST banh mi i have ever gotten. though the filling was not the typical traditional filling as it was filled with brisket meat, cheese, pate, and mayo (i think) the dipping with the light, refreshing beef bone broth was a sensational experience. with past banh mi, the bread is known for being crisp and crunchy, the entire banh mi just melts in your mouth once dipped into the broth. 10/10 recommend. however, it is a bit pricey around the $20 range, but definitely worth for the try. the regular banh mi is just normal as expected with every other place i have tried. so i recommend ordering the banh mi drip for the experience. read more

Coming from the Bay Area, I have found it hard to find on par Vietnamese food while traveling. However, I will happily say that this cafe would be my home away from home if I moved to Seattle. The pho broth is rich in flavor and the banh mi is soft enough to not hurt, but crunchy enough to give texture. I got the Banh Mi Drip w/ extra pate (I genuinely got so excited seeing that add-on) while my boyfriend got the brisket pho. Heard about this place and saw a lot of post about this place on Instagram and finally was able to try this today! Right as we walked in, I really love the layout and aesthetic of this new restaurant, it feels like I was back home in Vietnam! There was so much food to choose from but I saw that the Banh Mi Drip was most popular so definitely had to try it! The Banh mi had brisket that was smothered in their delicious pate, grilled onion, and mayo! The baguette was crunchy on the outside and very soft in the inside! You also get a side of beef bone marrow soup for dipping! Great idea and it was fulfilling! I also tried their shrimp spring roll, it's fresh and the peanut sauce was creamy and it had the perfect flavor! My girlfriend got the steak pho and the noodles were thick but cooked to al dente! The soup was flavorful and the meat was tender and didn't taste overcooked at all. Lastly, we order two drinks, my girlfriend got the strawberry limeade and I wanted to try the cafe sua da with durian, the coffee was on point! Strong and flavorful just like a good cafe sua da! But the durian flavor wasn't really there. The only thing that threw me off was how small the table was, it was hard to eat with what we ordered, but overall I love this place I would defiantly come back again to try their bun Bo hue! read more

My flight got in at 6am and I was so early for check in, sitting at my hotel for 6 hours and finally decided to eat. This place is close to my hotel and I was craving for pho and banh mi. I expected it to be hot since coworker said it was hot last week she was here. Lucky me it's comfortable, little chilly but not freezing. It got sunnier throughout the day. I ordered the brisket pho, Soup is sweet compared to Hawaii. I don't like sweet pho broth... Savory is what I am used to. Classic Banh mi pretty good. Service: the staff is very kind. Ambiance: it's more like a grab/go and quick eat stop. They have a few tables. When you're done you dispose your trash, compost and dishes/trays following the sign. You would think after living in Washington 30 years I would know better than to venture out to Pioneer Square on Seahawks game day....but all that to say the food at Saigon Drip was worth it! We ordered: Bun Bo Hue Egg rolls Spring rolls Banh Mi drip Fish sauce wings French fries for the 2 yr old The BBH was wonderfully spicy and flavorful with fall off the bone ribs. The fish sauce wings (not pictured because we ate it all???) were incredible. Somehow saucy and still crispy. Get an order of this (or 2 or even 3). WOW. We got the Saigon drip ban mi and that was incredible. I brought it home and I was using my fingers to get whatever was left on the plate after I was done. Delicious and I'm saving the broth to drink it later. The cool thing too about this is that banh mi was originally made during the time the French were in Vietnam and this combo really respects the cultural history behind the meal. The limeade was good too. The service was fast as well. We got a standard banh mi as well and that was good. It's a sit down express style. Order first and they'll bring out to you. I ordered the BBH (bun Bo hue), Bo là lot and their special bánh mì drip with a Vietnamese iced coffee. I thought their BBH was ok, mediocre. Meaning nothing stood out about it. Wasn't bad tho. Bo là lot was ehhh for me. BUT their coffee was strong! Sheeesh! Just the way I like it. Taste . Now the bánh mì drip was so good! It probably ruined bánh mì for me now. Because nothing will compare. Warm crispy baguette, tender meat, and you dip it in bone broth. Warm. Crispy. Flavorful! But it's even good without the dip. I would describe it as Vietnamese French onion dip. But way better. As we were eating, Phong "he does the dishes" was wiping tables. I saw him conversating with the customers. Making sure everything was great. He approached us and saw that we didn't order their chicken wings. So he gave us chicken wings on the house. Both flavors. And they were so freaking good! Both flavors were good. I'm from out of town, and I had to go back there to eat again before I left. Unfortunately there was a Seattle Seahawks game that day. And parking was a #%^*+. We literally drove around for 1 hr. So we gave up and went somewhere to eat. BUT after breakfast, we went to get coffee not too far from there. So after coffee we scootered 13 mins to get there. Yes so worth coming back there. Even on a full tummy... still the banh mi AND the chicken wings were great!
