Self-service at the kiosks was easy, and staff were friendly when bringing out our meal. I got the grilled pork sandwhich; my wife had the cold cuts. Both were magnificent: crusty bread, fresh veggies, generous and flavorful meats with great texture across both sandwiches, and real pate. All at a great price! Oh Saigon Drip, where should I begin? It's Wednesday and I have to go into the office. I'm constantly yawning and the coffee at nearby coffee shops does not do it for me. I suddenly remember that you are near by and have cafe sua da. I tell myself I must try it when they are open at 9am. I ordered online and was like heck, I'll get myself a banh mi too cuz why not? I came to pick up my banh mi and coffee, it was packed in the cutest bag ever. The coffee hit the spot, they really mean it when they say it was strong. I can hear my heart racing and a burst of energy overcame me. Just how I like my coffees super strong and so good. The banh mi was pretty good too. I absolutely love Saigon Drip!! The customer service here is truly top-tier. From the moment you walk in, they treat you like family and make you feel genuinely welcome every single time. The environment is always incredibly clean (even their kitchen) and comfortable, which I really appreciate. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. The food is also consistently great. That's one of the things that keeps my staff, family and friends coming back. WHOO this place was CROWDED and rightfully so! This was my second time coming here, the first was for a yelp event, and I was soooo glad I came back. We came around lunchtime so the place was packed but people rotate in and out pretty quickly so I was able to find a seat just as my food was ready. They are great with making sure their staff is nice and full so the service was quick despite the crowd and they were all so friendly and helpful. I love the vibe of this place and seeing it during Christmas time was cool. The food was SPECTACULAR as always. First of all, the Banh Mi Drip's marinated meat was insanely good--tender, flavorful, and juicy. Honestly, you almost don't need the broth to dip because the meat is already that juicy. I had a 24 hour layover in Seattle and decided to yelp the area for pho. After reading the reviews, I had to check this place out. It did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is not big but I love the energy and the set up. There's enough space if you came with a group but you don't feel awkward if you do decide to come alone. There's smaller tables that make it easy to dine by yourself. I came for the pho but the reviews made me order the bahn mi drip as well. It was delicious! Very meat heavy so if that's what you enjoy, you will love this! I wish I ordered pickled vegetables to balance the sandwich more but you definitely get your moneys worth with the amount of meat in the sandwich. The pho was SO delicious that I swear I didn't use any sauce condiments. I truly didn't need any of it!! I was tempted to ask to take out just the broth so I could have it later. Ordered a bunch of the teas/coffees to go and tried them at home. Most delicious milk tea and Vietnamese coffees I've had in the states. You order at 2 P.O.S monitors at the front counter when you walk in. Their menu is a bit confusing. At least it was for me, so I took a little bit longer to get my order in. The workers were very helpful and friendly. Just ask anyone if you have any questions. It's not a very big seating area, so you have to be quick if it's busy and grab a seat(s) if you want to dine in. Their Pho broth and quality of ingredients was top notch. I tried my better half's Banh mi drip. The meat was so tender and the dipping broth was flavorful. My cult cut classic was just that. Classic flavors and ingredients of a Banh Mi on a toasted baguette. I enjoyed it. The coffee was nice and strong. Just how I love it. I got the iced Cafe Sua and one to go. I've ordered catering from here several times before for work and their banh mis are so so good!! Their sandwiches are STUFFED to the brim with protein and pickled veggies. Their cold cuts sandwich is my favorite, followed by the grilled pork. I love the head cheese in the cold cuts sandwich and the mayo is so good. 4/5 stars for the food!! Definitely get the Banh Mi Drip. Warm, flavorful and the bread is not hard. This was so good! I got the vermicelli bowl as well and it was ok. The pork was a bit tough. I docked a star because we saw a reel on Instagram that this place was dog friendly and the dogs were eating in a very nice seating area (which we discovered was actually indoors) so I went out of my way to drive here to eat (not knowing what to expect since we are from Los Angeles). While I have no regrets with the food, when we got there, they told us that its service dogs only inside and the only dog friendly tables was two tables outside on the sidewalk (which is not what the reel depicted). Being in Pioneer Square, the sidewalk area is not the cleanest or most pleasant to sit outside. So maybe communication should be more clear. Also, I wanted the rib eye pho but that was MP. I'm giving these guys a 4.5 BUT only because I STILL have not tried their famous hot pot pho! I'll definitely be back & here's a huge reason why! This was only the 2nd time visiting Saigon Drip...the key is to go early in the day for lunch because they tend to sell out if their popular dishes like the hot pot pho...they actually have a small menu & im just not usually in the Pioneer Square area during the day! We were there on a very special day...the day of the Super Bowl LX trophy ceremony & parade. Honestly we were going to get Dim Sum in the CID until we saw that we couldn't get across 4th Ave because of the metal barrier up for the parade but we were on Jackson street so as soon as the procession passed us, we needed food! We quickly thought of Saigon Drip since it was just around noon. We had a party of 6 so we weren't sure we would be able to get a seat for all of us...but we did! When we arrived all the tables & seats were taken and the line was still pretty manageable but what made a HUGE difference was that all the workers were able to work on the orders...they have 2 self order screens with tap or credit payment only BUT THAT WAS SO KEY!!!! I was worried about ordering the hot pot pho because I just wasn't so confident we'd all be sitting while we ate, but because the food came out pretty quick(since ALL the workers were helping with orders) tables were just turning! So we got a small high 2 top first which we sat my niece & daughter up but magically the counter seats right next to our high top opened up. My niece ordered brisket pho, my daughter ordered a bun bowl with chicken, I got the one with the pork & they both came with an egg roll & I added a fried egg to my bowl. My husband ordered the banh mi dip which has tasty grilled beef inside, and our friends ordered a chicken banh mi which is filled with grilled chicken vs. boiled or poached chicken so good, and his wife got a chicken bun bowl as well. The bun bowls were so big that it could have been shared by at least 2 people! As we're getting our food the line began to get busier especially with the parade going farther north. It was a great experience, everyone customer was a Seahawk fan & it was filled with happiness & joy in the whole restaurant. I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant between meetings and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff and oriented to the ordering process which was completed through the kiosk. A staff member brought me my food when my order was ready which was within five minutes. Multiple staff members checked on me and offered to bring cups of water. 10/10 service. I ordered the drip banh mi, and the meat was arguably some of the most tender, flavorful meat I've ever had in my life. The portion was extremely generous, and I ended up taking half home. Best pho I have ever had! The staff is incredible, the pho is well flavored. I came here two days in a row, and I can already tell it's a new favorite! Grabbed a sandwich here on the way to a Mariners game without any expectations on how it would taste. Was blown away at how good the cold cut classic tasted -- it's hard to find a spot that actually has a good ratio of filling to pate and Saigon Drip got it right. Their pickled carrots and radish were on the more mild side and less pickled, but I think that's probably more appealing to most people. Pleasantly surprised! I was suspicious of this place because it's modern Vietnamese in Pioneer Square. That puts it close enough to Little Vietnam on 12th to be out of place, and any time a cuisine is modernized, you run the risk of it being ruined. Not so here! Quite happy we tried it! I had Pho. They have the super crazy beef rib bone pho made famous by that other place up on Boren, but I decided to go a wee bit lighter, with a large bowl of brisket pho with less noodle. (Yes, they have "less noodle" as an option, which is *exactly* how I like it!) The accompaniments were plentiful, with lots of sprouts (to make up for missing noodles ). They don't put fish sauce on the table but will bring it if you ask, including a house made fish sauce that is the most refined and delicate version of that brew I've ever had. Definitely ask for some. They also carry a new-to-me hot sauce that is closer in flavor profile to cholula than any other Asian hot sauce I've tried. It's not as acidic and not as hot, but it's nearer to cholula than any sriracha I've tried. It's like a sauce that Cholula abuela serves to her pequeño monstruo. You order everything on the tablets at the counter, then it's brought to your table... UNLESS you order a drink that's in the cooler to the left of the registers. You serve yourself those. They don't make that part entirely clear. My dining companion had the Saigon Drip sandwich, which was very good, although she found the sliced fresh jalapeños to be a bit too hot. My jalapeños weren't as spicy, but that's the thing about that - fresh jalapeños are a Scoville lottery. You might get 50K in one, 200K in another. Next time maybe get them on the side. I had the fresh salted lemonade, which I LOVED. I just wish there was about half the ice. Another place we will visit again soon. read more

Featured in a lot of foodie lists and blogs, this place has been bookmarked for quite a while and I finally got to try it. It took a while for me because the location is a bit hard to find parking, and I often try to not go around central downtown / pioneer square area. I got the banh mi drip ($17) and a side of mango salad. But I ordered via Grubhub solely because I had to use their monthly credits, and they do mark it up quite a lot but with my credits and offers, it ended up being cheaper to book non-direct. The banh mi drip has very generous amounts of brisket and it is so flavorful. The brisket has just the right amount of meat and it has really good texture. Like I can associate this brisket to the nice BBQ briskets I have been! On the side is a dipping bone marrow broth, so think about this dish as kind of like a French dip sandwich, but better. Half a sandwich is enough for a light meal, but because I am going on a trip the next day, I finished it all and I was so stuffed, in a good way. The mango salad is like a papaya salad but with mangoes instead. Mangoes start to be in season so I can savor the freshness and sweetness of the mangos, contrasting with the slightly spicy and tangy fish sauce dressing that I enjoyed. Fish sauce in the states are very hit or miss, but this one worked out. Prices are a bit intimidating but given the portions of respective ingredients, I am okay with it. If you're in Pioneer Square, Saigon Drip is NOT to be missed. Pho is a main food group for me, and here? They know what they're doing! My fiancé got the famous Drip banh mi and he stated that while it's different than a classic/traditional one, it's one of the best that he had. I tried a bite and it was crazy good! The star of the show for me was the hotpot ribeye pho. Gorgeous rolls of ribeye served alongside a boiling bowl of flavorful broth that you can cook to your preference. My fiancé and I had such a fun time with it and it was SO delicious too. Your bowl of pho is served separately with all the fixings minus the meat with the same tasty broth.
