I had gone to Mitsuwa at 5:30pm and all the cold case items had been picked bare. The food court was insanely packed so we decided to get PokiDoki for dinner. I got the 4 scoops for $17.99 to share. There is standard topping & options on the fish. Portions are smaller than Uroko down the street but they have sushi rice which is a better quality. The custom lemonade with strawberry lemonade, pineapple, and fresh picked basil is delicious. Highly recommend the Pokinade! There are signs everywhere the parking touching the shops & other restaurants are not for Mitsuwa. I hope they are not hurting while it's still a hot & new.

I have found my favorite poke spot. Seriously, it's clean, organized the staff is friendly. I'm so happy I found this place. 3 proteins! Salmon, spicy tuna & octopus, half rice have salad, edamame, jalapeños, crab, onion chips, eel sauce, sesame seeds and oil, and spicy mayo. Paid about $23 to include a drink I am confident...You will be in heaven. I WILL BE BACK and I'm bringing my friends

What can I say? No better way to end the workday then with a refreshing special drink from this incredible poki spot. The individual behind the counter was extremely friendly gave me very good recommendations, and I love the ambience of the restaurant. Of course, my favorite part was the Little Jesus on top of the water.

Pretty solid spot for a quick and easy build-your-own poke bowl! Came in on a weekend for an early dinner, and there was no one in line. Choose from a small (2 scoops of fish), medium (3 scoops of fish), or large (4 scoops of fish) bowl. Their bases include white rice, brown rice, salad, or chips. You can do half and half as well. I usually go for salmon and tuna, and I thought the fish quality was decent! You can choose from a variety of toppings, and they'll mix if all together in a sauce of your choice. Their "original" is mild, and though they don't list exactly what's in it, it was pretty good! They also have a variety of musubis, including spam, spam and egg, spicy tuna, crab, and mayo tuna. I tried the spam and egg musubi, and it's served with a side of sauce, seemed like a spicy mayo. They also have some kind of special offer every weekday (like a free drink or scoop of edamame), so make sure to check the chalkboard when you go in!

I really don't know why this spot isn't rated higher, 4.4 doesn't do it justice, the service is awesome, the food is fantastic, everything is fresh and the store is very clean. 10/10

I want to point out that the gentleman who served me was so kind and patient with me. It was mt first time there and he explained the menu and process to me. When I asked for a little bit of extra sauce or anything he made sure ask if it was enough or if I wanted more. Most Poki places make me feel rushed but the customer service was great! He even made small talk and hoped I liked the food so I can come back. Now the food! It was good! The spicy tuna had a nice flavor and the spicy mayo wasn't overwhelming. Everything was fresh and the bowl was packed which I appreciate. I will be back for the good customer service and good Poki bowls. I didnt get to try anything else but I will next visit.

Felt like poke or Popeyes, decided on the more "healthy" option Went with half and half salad and brown rice, with two scoops of salmon and one of tuna. I chose ponzu with spicy mayo and a bit of spicy cilantro sauce. Super friendly service, he kindly explained which sauces were most popular. Inside was a little warm, but to be fair it was a hot day out. Got it to-go with a carbonated ramune grape drink. Went for a drive down to Laguna beach. Both poke and drink recommendations were great - I'd definitely choose to come back for takeout!

Rice, 2 scoops spicy tuna & 1 scoop salmon, all veggies & extra onion, spicy cilantro, onion garlic, sesame oil, spicy mayo & all toppings.

Found this spot like a year ago & I am just getting around to giving them a review. I LOVE THIS PLACE! They have decent prices and their fish always taste fresh!! They are not skimpy with their portions either! I'm surprised they aren't packed with customers every day!

This was my first time at a PokiDoki, and my kids first time ever trying Poke. The quality of the food is perfect. There are places that serve larger portions, but I could see that everything was fresh and proper. Service was good, he helped the kids along the way and everyone was pleased. There's a decent amount of seating, and the place is very clean and nice. :)

spam musubi and pokinade. wasn't super hungry but wanted a snack so I stopped by heehee. Pokinade was interesting. It says it has strawberry, pineapple and basil but why'd it lowk taste like alcohol? It wasn't good but it wasn't bad?? Then I realized the fruit was probably old. Spam musubi was good! Hard to mess up. Also the staff there were rlly nice and friendly :) Clean place, quiet and nice :) Tbh I'm pretty sure they used old fruit. It tasted rotten. Hopefully I don't die.

Cute location and has all the right poki ingredients to make a good bowl. I thought the tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon was fresh. Bowl was full and filling. I would avoid the spam musubi as it was not prepared well and mainly full of rice.

The food court was so crowded and difficult to order as there were long waits for food. I was just so happy that there was a food court. After the excitement passed I noticed it was a bit small then I went to pick up some groceries and seen how small the grocery side was that I couldn't believe it. There are barely any aisles for any sort of groceries and the prices are high. Even the sale items I feel are higher than I can get at other Japanese markets. This should have been at least double the size or they should have just made it all a food court or simple grocery store. I will still try to support it but it's tough to get groceries as their prices are much higher. As the newness has worn down, it's much easier to get in and out to pick up some things. Unfortunately for the business that there's a lot less foot traffic.

The Zarusoba was good, but it would be nice if they gave a bit more sauce for dipping. I also got a Sashimi Salad, which had a lot of sashimi! It had salmon, tuna, and a white fish. Pretty good, but it could have used a little more dressing as well. The Combination Plate with Salmon and Tempura was enjoyable. It comes with a piece of salmon, a variety of tempura (shrimp, broccoli, sweet potato, onion), side salad, miso soup, rice, tempura sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Salmon was cooked well, and I liked all of the tempura! Their Lunch Specials are originally what caught my eye, but it seems like they don't have anything similar for dinner. Instead, everything is a la carte with the exception of a few combination plates. I wish they would do dinner specials similar to their lunch specials! Parking here is pretty difficult. The lot gets packed with several cars circling around hunting for a spot. They're also going some construction right now which doesn't help. I walked up to the counter and asked how the promotion worked. The owner pointed out the rolls on the menu and asked whether I was dining in or ordering to go. After telling her I was dining in, I looked over the menu. Since I don't eat much rice, I was immediately drawn to the three no-rice rolls, which were $16 each. The specialty rolls also looked good and were priced between $16 and $19. I asked to order three of the no-rice rolls using the promotion. That's when the owner told me those rolls were not included. The sign outside says "any two rolls," yet apparently there are exclusions that aren't disclosed. Since the no-rice rolls are in the same price range as the specialty rolls, I asked why they were excluded. The owner didn't offer any explanation--she simply said no, then walked away from the register and back into the kitchen. I found that interaction disrespectful and a clear indication that they weren't interested in earning my business. Customer service matters, and this experience left a very negative impression. I recommend choosing one of the many other restaurants in the area that value friendly, transparent service. Advertising a promotion as applying to "any" rolls while excluding certain items without clearly stating that feels misleading.

These are the sort of eateries I seek out when I go to Japan as they are affordable, filling, and satisfying. Just as they do in Japan, they have a large display case on the wall which is filled with a couple dozen realistic plastic displays of the various plates they offer. It makes it easy to see what you'll be getting and helps me make a decision. I was there for a late lunch and ordered the pork katsu curry plate and also, for an additional fee, added an omelette on top of the rice (omu-curry). I was given a pager by the friendly fellow at the counter and my meal was made in less than ten minutes. I sat and ate in the clean, comfortable food court. The pork was good quality, very tender, with a crunchy panko coating. The rice was done perfectly and the omelette on top was delicious with a buttery taste and soft texture. I loved the curry; it had excellent flavor and complemented the pork well. There were also some slices of hard-boiled egg and some bits of radish on the plate as well as a cabbage salad. My single complaint is that the salad had no dressing so was rather "blah" compared to everything else. I call these places fast-food katsu. They are all over Japan. Not as fancy as high-end katsu restaurants, where the pigs have been massaged daily before becoming tonkatsu, but satisfying comfort-food versions. To this end, this place delivers flawlessly.
