We went here because it's convenient. It's nice that they offer a free miso soup with Yelp check in. As far as the fish selection, the tuna and salmon doesn't look fresh. And they're rather stingy with giving out toppings. 3 scoops of fish that come with the medium bowl is literally three mini ice cream scoops and no more than that. I thought there wasn't enough fish to go with the rice. I asked for more seaweed salad and they gave me a pinch more. So stingy. There's no poke place as good as pokinometry 3/2/17 I came back again since it's convenient. This time the portion was a lot better. I think I just got a server that was stingy. Again - love yelp check in for free stuff! Got a free miso. I like this, the poki was great, with small, Medium, and large sizes. Most poki places have only two sizes medium and large. I tried pokiroll and I like pokidoki better. I wouldn't say the quality of fish is top notch but it is good. I know that poki is really comprised of tuna maybe salmon but I secretly love tomago and it's an option for my poki here! Other things, they have sauces by the utensils so you can DIY which is great and very appreciated. Also tried the lemonade, a good size for what you pay and pretty good! Stopped by here with my coworkers today for their grand opening free medium poke bowl with drink... And yes it was all FREE!! Brought the food back to work cuz it was super crowded..The bowls were good. My coworkers and I all got different types of fish and base..(chips, white rice and brown rice) but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Pretty much the most important component of a poke bowl, and the one thing that I was worried about before going. But all of the ingredients were fresh, delicious, and came together perfectly. I had a salad bowl (they ran out of rice, which was a bit of a bummer, but I still really enjoyed it, which says something) with imitation crab, avocado, fresh tuna, scallops, and shrimp, topped with onions, pickled ginger, green onions, seaweed salad, etc, plus original poke sauce. And their pokinade was perfect, sweet, and refreshing, with a little something interesting added via the basil. It was free today (thank you Poki Doki), but I'll be back to pay up. read more

Interesting how these food trends evolve. It's a typical poki place except here I noticed they don't mix the ingredients for you. The prices appeared reasonable and consistent with other places and they don't nickel and dime the toppings. But if you opt for all the toppings, you may want to get the final sauce on the side. I've been to tons of poke places and this one was ok. Workers were super friendly and the place was clean, but I didn't think it was anything special. You order and add toppings as you go down the line. I got a medium bowl with salmon and brown rice with spicy poki sauce. One thing they did differently than other places was that they drizzled the sauce over the whole bowl at the end. I felt like you couldn't even taste the sauce that way. I also got a pokinade, which is like a tropical lemonade with pineapple, strawberry and basil. It was super sour to me at first, but then I kind of got used to it. I'm pretty sad that this is a little far from me because I think it's my new favorite poki place! I like it even better than Pokinometry. The portions are generous for a small size ($8!!) where you can get rice/salad base (I asked to do half/half and they let me), two scoops of FRESH fish, crab meat, and choice of toppings: sprouts, jalepeno, masago, avocado, onions,green onions, ginger, wasabi. I like their original poki sauce because it's not too heavy/thick. Some poki places are soo slimy/sweet/overwhelming but this place is super light. They also have a sauce station so you can get difference sauces to try. I think it would help to get an extra bowl or plate on the side because everything starts spilling out when you start mixing it. read more

Today one worker behind counter and four sitting outside on their phones, floor inside has rice under tables and outside had some trash and needed some attention, food areas in my opinion should be SPOTLESS, especially fish and open food areas! Again food is good and simple but lastly know what is in your sauces...second time they added sesame oil after I said NO! Always choose the onion garlic sauce and he couldn't tell me if it had oil. We've been here a number of times now, which definitely shows that we like the food. The poke bowls with a combination of brown rice, salmon, spicy tuna, and seaweed are delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean with adequate indoor and outdoor seating. My single recommendation would be for PokiDoki to turn on the air conditioning. The air inside the restaurant is both still and stale, which is why we normally eat outside. I have never written a bad Yelp review before, but this was the worst poke I've ever had! I ordered a medium bowl with all ahi tuna. They squeeze the sauce all over your bowl instead of mixing it on the side in a separate bowl like EVERY other poke place. There is a reason it should be made this way. You don't end up with soggy sesame oil rice. Unfortunately, I was left with a very unappetizing bowl of fish and drenched rice. There aren't enough sauce options as well. A coworker told me about this place recently opening, so I decided to take a look for myself. It is a great new spin on the typical food selection in the area. It seems like a great healthy alternative for a quick lunch bite. I love sushi and this is a great alternative than having to eat and stay in the restaurant as you can order everything in bowls which makes it very convenient. A medium bowl is large enough to fill you up, and you can order a few different combinations. I had the garlic sauce and Tuna and thought it was very delicious at a reasonable price. This is by far my favorite Poke place!! I love that you could get all the toppings that are available with no extra charge. Fish is good quality and all the ingredients look and taste fresh. Their white rice also has great texture, I usually get half rice and half salad when I'm feeling healthy. For the sauce, I like the original and I get the spicy mayo on the side. For starters, I'm bummed that I missed the grand opening! I didn't even notice this place was opening until I got the coupon in the mail. But I heard the grand opening was insane as opposed to when I just went I walked right up to the front of the line. I was greeted right away by the friendly staff! I got a large because I noticed how small the scoops were and didn't think I'd be full; I was wrong. The end result is a huge portion and more than enough food. I got white rice- very slightly undercooked but hardly noticeable nor that big of a deal and decided I will try brown rice next time. 2 scoops salmon 2 scoops tuna (the large comes with 4 scoops and you can customize the poke however you'd like)- I am very particular about poke, the tuna was okay.. You can see it wasn't a bright red color meaning it's not as flavorful but it wasn't horrible. The salmon was great! Next time I will choose all salmon instead. I added cucumber and masago (smelt egg). They hooked it up with avocado and imitation crab for free! I choose the spicy poke sauce then added soy sauce and sesame seeds. Visited this place for lunch. VERY good! I have had poke before so I knew what to expect. This place seems up to par with my past experience. I got the M size with half salad, half white rice. I tried the garlic onion sauce which honestly I couldn't even taste the garlic. It is a little hard for them to hear over the glass, I had to stand on my tippy toes (and I'm not even that short) and speak loudly and clearly for the girl to hear me. I started getting a little tired of doing that and at the end, "a little ginger" turned into a huge scoop. Oops. Portions are generous! I also ordered the lemonade (pokinade) because of everyone raving about it. It was ok. Maybe I had a watered down batch but I didn't think it was amazing. Overall, this place is really good. If you're considering QPR (quality price ratio), there are a few other local poke places that are better. For $11 you get a small bowl filled minimally with toppings and 4 level scoops of fish. I've paid the same at a couple of other places for the same quality of fish, but more quantity regarding fish and toppings. If I was to just judge them on food alone, this is a perfectly fine poke place with all the basic things you look for in a poke place. Good fish options. Decent topping options. Sauces are okay. It's very serviceable. Staff is friendly and nice...however a bit cautious when you ask for more of any non-fish topping. This place is my most favorite lunch spot! I come here at least twice a week for their outstanding poke. Crab and avocado are free, amazing, I know. The service is quick and friendly and the fish is always fresh. I love all the customization possibilities but I am a purist and get the same thing every time with as much seaweed salad as possible. I ate here for lunch two days in a row. I love this place! Everything is so fresh and the prices are reasonable, about 8-11 dollars depending on what you get.
