Nice burger is nice... I've tried so many different vegan places this past month and nice burger falls in the middle. Personally, the burger itself reminds me of a burger stand burger. It's a burger. I don't like that the pattys are pre frozen. The sweet potato fries were great! Fresh. My favorite thing were the tater tots and that's because they were nostalgic. The sauces were amazing. I enjoyed all of them but my favorite was the chipotle. Yummy. The service was nice. Lol I mean it's nice burger. This place was vanilla ice cream. I've only tried the fries once which were okay, with chipotle dipping sauce, and ironically, the sauce was the least flavorful thing I've had there. That won't stop me from the burgers though. Ordered the Grilled Shroom Burger Combo; sauce on it was tasty and plenty of toppings to match the cooked pattie. I've been to Nice Burger at the Stanton and the Costa Mesa locations at least 5 times each since they first opened up because it always takes me between 1-1.5 hours to get to any of the locations. I always remembered that customer service were great and the employees seemed happy to be there. This was my first time at the Long Beach location and I invited a friend. I told him the burgers here are good. The Long Beach location is the smallest location I've been to. I initially ordered the Breakfast Burger with a meal that includes a side and a drink. I ordered my side and wanted to upgrade to a milk shake like the picture that's advertised on the menu. He couldn't find the button for the upgrade so he called over his coworker and she said it's no longer available because she could not find the button either. Why would you have that advertised if you will no longer be upgrading to a milkshake? I told them I don't drink soda nor do I drink lemonade and if I can get a drink from the fridge. They told me that there will just be no fountain drink given to me and I would have to pay extra if I got anything in the fridge. I didn't see a point in that so I ended up taking off the meal and ordered the chicken wings, but the employee said they don't have it anymore. None of the employees ever apologized for the things that were no longer offered on the menu and didn't seem to care. So I just had a vanilla soft serve to have after dinner, and Breakfast Burger only. My Breakfast Burger tasted burnt and dry even with ketchup. Soft serve was okay. A little too sweet for me. My friend ordered the animal style fries and a burger. He said burger was okay, and the animal style fries sauce was good. The flavor of the sauce has improved from the last time I ordered it at the other locations. They didn't have a restroom at this location even though they offer chairs and tables to sit and eat. They really need to update their menu since they don't upgrade to milkshakes anymore like it's advertised in the picture and they no longer have chicken wings. The customer service and the food at this location was unsatisfactory . I will not be coming back to this location. Such a disappointing trip. read more

I've been to Nice Burger two times, both on a weekday afternoon. The first time I went, I got the breakfast burger ($11) with 1000 island in place of ketchup (I hate tomatoes) and sweet potato fries ($4). I was one of the only people there and the food came out in under 10 minutes. The burger was awesome! Easily the best vegan burger I've had so far. And I am an avid burger guy. The meat doesn't taste anything like beef to me, but.. it's just good. The bacon was crispy and smoky. The tots were crispy and the eggs were fluffy. The fries were really good too. Crispy and salty, just as I like, and a decent portion. I got 1000 island, ranch, and chipotle sauce on the side. They were all good and complimentary. The 2nd time I went, I got the bbq bacon burger ($11) and the friend fries (normal fries, $3.50). This time like 7 people ordered after me so the food came out 15-20 mins later. This burger was also very good but I didn't enjoy it as much as the breakfast burger. Personal preference I suppose. However, I thought the friend fries were mediocre at best. They were pretty flimsy, pale, and not well-seasoned. I got the same sauces on the side and this time was charged .$50 for one of them. You'll see in the picture the cups are pretty small, so I thought that was unreasonable to ask for. I also thought the fries were overpriced. With vegan ingredients I understand there is a premium so everything is pricier than usual. No excuse for french fries though, especially when they're not that good All in all, great burgers and sweet potato fries. I would avoid the friend fries. My prayers have been answered ! I love this place they opened there new location in Long Beach and its so close to home most definitely recommend everything on there menu!! Not only is everything so delicious from there big guy burger( "bigmac") , there fish filet sandwich has your tastebuds feeling like that guy from ratatouille all nostalgic when you eat it after not eating regular fast food in so long. All in all you cannot go wrong with anything on there menu highly!! I am sooooo happy that nice burger made its way to Long Beach. My husband and I have been supporting them since they first opened up the first location in Costa Mesa, then their drive thru location in Santa Ana, and then their location in Stanton. So glad They are finally near us. Here's the deal with nice burger, not only do they have Amazing customer service but their burgers are some of the best vegan burgers. The burgers taste like those mom and pop burger spots. The burgers also have a great taste, they must season it because they don't taste like beyond burgers. They also have the char taste to them that makes them taste even better. As for the chicken sandwiches, that is the most realistic chicken sandwich I've ever had in years. The texture is spot on. Personally I always like to get the nice burger. I've tried a lot of their menu and I love the simplicity of the nice burger. They also use to have a patty melt that was really good. I have a gluten sensitivity so I asked which items are gluten friendly. The buns, bacon, onion rings, fish, and chicken items all contain gluten. However any of the burgers w/o these ingredients can be made gluten friendly by subbing lettuce wrap style instead of a bun. Highly recommend The Mainlander it was amazing.
