If you have kids, this is the place to go. The kids enjoyed getting autographs from the servers that were in character. The food was not so great. The rice was hard on the salmon meal, the steak was not cooked to my liking, the Alfredo noodles were not cooked all the way. The drinks are good and our server (Ken- Barbie) was great, we loved him! We booked a party of 25 with the expectation that the magician would be there (we asked ahead if time) but when we arrived, the magician was not there. To start what is that smell? It smells like my grandmas closet. So we had reservations and we all get there and they put us in this tiny school bus that does not accommodate big people and we had a few. Besides shaggy who we actually think was stoned was the most realistic character in the building. The food is mediocre but the drinks were decent. Second time. We came here before the pandemic started. I would say that in spite of all the negative reviews I've seen, the experience was great. Ariel was our server and made the night memorable. My wife had the eve prime rib and I had a New York strip. But we're done perfectly and served hot and we're tasty. My wife has a soy allergy and the manager from the back office came out and accommodated us perfectly which is rare considering we've been to Disney World and they don't accommodate us as well as the magic time machine tonight My 12-year-old daughter wants to work here when she grows up. First off, it didn't seem like the AC was working as there was plug in fans all over the entire restaurant that my toddlers kept tripping over. Our server gave my toddlers adult cups and as I took them off the table to give them back they were spilt and knocked over. The waitress never cleaned the ice off of our table through our meal and "desert" the waitress said our bussers will get it and we ate with ice cubes, I asked multiple servers and what seemed like a manager for napkins and plates and never got them. When my children finished they got their cookies and it was definitely the most burnt,beat,unchewable cookie you could ever imagine. Sadly we were told we could approach any character and ask for an autograph or a picture but almost every one said they couldn't because they were busy. It just wasn't a good time for us. We were looking for something fun to do after a stressful week.. we chose this place as it looked like something fun to try. They have a salad bar and after making our plates and having eaten some of this, i looked down and jumped because there was a little face looking back at me. I asked my boyfriend what it was and he slowly moved the salad leaves away to uncover the grandfather of all grasshoppers dead in it. No telling how many other people ate from that salad bowl hosting a dead bug. The waitress was appalled and went and got the manager right away. He came out and just was more surprised it was such a big one as he's not seen that before, only small ones he kept making excuses as well. We left without eating anything else or paying. This place caught my wife's attention due to the character that were advertised for the kids. The service was good, however there were fans everywhere. The setting was a little different from what I have experienced in dinning. The location feels like it was thought of by someone having too many ideas about ambience but in my opinion not executed well. The place looked old, carpet on the floor could not have been clean, you could smell the mold hence the fans. This place could not be cleaned thoroughly from the way it is set up without having a professional crew come in every day. Kinda grossed me out looking around. The food was over priced and not that great. I guess we were paying for the experience more than food quality. Steak was tough, and not that flavorful. I would not visit this location again, went to see what the fuss was about but it's not recommended. read more

When you first walk in, it stinks like mildew. Dirty looking inside, salad bar didn't seem safe. I wouldn't have stayed but I was with a group. We waited in the lobby for an hour along with several other people also waiting with their kids. Hardly any of the tables were occupied so maybe there's a staff shortage. Our server was overwhelmed with other tables. The menu had an item called "Roman Orgy" which seems appropriate since this considers itself a family place. The food was low quality. My steak was small and thin. The bubbly drink wasn't good. The server asked if it was okay and I said no. She took the drink back to the kitchen but still put it on my bill. Every time a performer came to the table you're expected to tip so that added $60 for us. The photographer lady had no expression and seemed annoyed she had to deal with a table. The photograph is the only souvenir you leave with but it's still $20 including the tip on top of everything else. From the moment you walk in, you are mesmerized by history. There must have 15 or more movies set dining areas that were just amazing. The food was awesome, but the most enjoyable, delightful, beautiful, mesmerizing, kinda out of this world was our jumbo sizes sludge hammer caring, server, Harley Quinn and her band of heroes, especially spider-man. This is our second year in a row to go for my daughters birthday. This year was slightly disappointing at the beginning but HUGE props to our servers, Spider Gwen and Mandalorian for saving the night and being absolutely awesome! We arrived at 4 and got in the line to get in, knowing we would have a wait but it was fine because last year we hung out upstairs and it was so fun. This year, not so much, the bar was shut down, due to staffing shortage. It was very dark and definitely wasn't the hopping place it was last year. The elevator was also broken so my grandmother really struggled to get up stairs. Then after about 50 minutes of waiting we were seated but they split our party up between two tables side by side and it devastated my daughter. We offered to wait even longer to be seated together but were told no. We debated on leaving but then our waitress showed up and she was PRECIOUS! She saved the night for my daughter. I hope they get staffing issues fixed to make upstairs lively again but as for the experience after that 10/10. The fun things happening, such as the waiters signature books, balloon artists, photographer, caricature artist, and most of all the magic show make the experience totally worth it. I came here's few weeks ago with about 6 friends. We had to wait to be seated since one friends was running late. No big deal. We were initially seated in a round booth but asked to be placed at a table since we had some bigger guys that probably wouldn't fit comfortably. The staff was super accommodating and had us moved to a table with way more space. Once seated, we were greeted by Shaggy. It was slightly awkward because we weren't quite sure what to expect. He was super loud and getting other table feedback to greet our table. It was kind of funny. We started to order food, he groaned about us choosing the Roman Orgy and how he'd be here all night cleaning it up. We shrugged it off and continued to order. The alcoholic beverages were great, no complaints. The others at the table ordered friend mushrooms and mozzarella sticks and said they were good. While we were having appetizers, we could hear shaggy shouting/singing his birthday song and more alarmingly, drop an F bomb during it. Normally I wouldn't be a prude but there were kids all over the restaurant including a few sitting at the table behind us. We all shrugged it off and thought maybe it was the vibe for that specific table. We shouldn't worry about it. Our food finally came and I was appalled to see shaggy use his hands to serve some of the fruit because the tongs weren't working out for him. We lost some fruit in the process. He started trying to throw blueberries into people's mouths which was unsanitary in my opinion...then he started putting veggies down and put leaves of lettuce on my head. I played it off because I didn't want to cause a scene. He finally left us for a while so we could eat in peace. The food itself wasn't bad. The brisket was actually good and we had super large portions. The chicken as a bit salty and dry but was fine after it was covered in gravy. The veggies and corn were good. No complaints there. One friend asked for a refill on a soda. Shaggy forgot but we asked again and he was happy to bring another... maybe a little too happy. He started pouring the soda on my friends head. Thankfully it was diet so it wasn't too sticky during clean up. We were all shocked. Our friend was chill about it but we were all furious. Shaggy came back a little while after and said "Sorry if that was too far." That pretty much ruined our night at that point. The only saving grace was the photographer that came around and showed us our face swapped photos. We ended up buying a few since they were hilarious. I wouldn't ever come back here if we're being honest. Had I known it was like Dick's Last Resort, I could've prepared myself to be more open minded but I thought this was going to be more family friendly.
