Not so happy. I only go to Krispy Kreme a few times a year. I went last night, and got these shrunken donuts - one dozen small donuts with plenty of room in the box. I paid full price, and I didn't get what I paid for. Granted I don't need the extra calories, Krispy Kreme's performance was subpar to say the least. Horrible service. Rude stuck up girl. The cashier on the receipt name is Brittany. While my car was getting charged at the Tesla supercharger, I decided to come in to grab a few donuts for my family. Came in and right away she had an attitude problem I don't know why as I am so polite. I did not appreciate her attitude. Same with her other colleagues, bunch of little girls with attitude. Then I also politely asked if there's eggs as my son is severely allergic, "Brittany" one with attitude couldn't hear me and just stared at my face, blank stare. Unprofessional Staff & Management Krispy Kreme is a place I would frequent often, however my family and I have been hesitant to come here because the staff most of there current staff are extremely unprofessional- most of the staff we have encountered are rude for no reason- like damn I just want to get my donuts sis!? I ordered half a dozen; 3 regular glazed, 1 chocolate, 1 raspberry filled, and 1 Oreo! The donuts were fresh and still warm! It melts in your mouth! TIP: my 6 donuts cost me ~$10 but if you get a dozen regular glazed it's ~$12. Next time I'll just get a dozen regular glazed so I can get more for my money. The customer service was fairly good! The guy who took my order was fast and efficient. The lady who gave me my donuts was friendly and I had no problems with her. I like the size of this shop; it's big with multiple tables and a large dining area. They have a large glass window to view the donuts and everything else going on inside. My wife and I came evening time after dinner and the donuts weren't as fresh and moist. The best time to come to Krispy Kreme is morning and early noon. So we drove up to the drive through window. A young boy who was right at the window refused to give eye contact, smile or acknowledge our presence and greetings. We have not been here sin years after my husband had a bad experience in the drive through. They didn't honor their coupon saying it didn't start until 6am. WTF?! He even gave them another try and he ended up getting someone else's order which sucked. Fast forward to many many years later. My daughter and I love creme filled donuts. Love Twinkie filling and this is the only place I remember that has it. This is mainly for my drive-thru experiences, I've never actually stepped foot into this location. First of all, convenience of having a drive-thru. THANK THE LAWD. My social anxiety peaks at any type of restaurant/food ordering establishment (yeah, I'm working on it.) Customer service through the speaker and at the window is always A1! The employees working the drive-thru are always very very friendly, patient, and seemingly upbeat. Just ordering from them puts me in a better mood - on top of them handing me fresh doughnuts, what more could I ask for?! Quality of the doughnuts never disappoints. I saw the Hot and Ready sign from the highway and was pulled towards the neon light like a sugar sucking mosquito. The Krispy Kreme is located in Willows Shopping Center which you cannot cut through to from The Veranda which we found out after some circling. When we arrived at the Krispy Kreme it was immediately evident that fellow donut enthusiasts saw the Krispy Kreme signal from far away because there was a pretty big line. I think they may have been a little bit unstaffed because we were there way longer than we wanted to be. About 20 minutes to get a dozen donuts and we weren't even in the back of the behemoth of the line that had formed. So I'm not a total Krispy Kreme expert but we were told that the top shelf of donuts are only for display so they will not give you donuts from there. There was a special glazed lemon donut that was only available until 4/28 so we got a few of those, the original, and a few others that were identifiable with a glance. The lemon and the original look pretty much exactly the same. They didn't try to separate those in anyway so we had to play donut roulette to find out which was which. To our surprise, they pretty much tasted identical...which meant no lemon flavor at all. Normally this would be okay because the OG flavor is the best. These were supposedly the fresh donuts but they didn't have that cushiony soft texture and the glaze didn't seem that right. Some of the other donuts were a little more exciting like the sugar and blueberry offerings so overall it was okay. Lastly we asked for hats and they were happy to oblige even though we were adults. Good ol Krispy Kreme and their fresh glazed donuts are the ones and most popular. Sometimes they'll have groupons for buying a dozen and getting the next dozen for discount of free and right now if you're fully vaccinated you get a free donut everyday just by simply showing your card. They have donut holes and also other flavors to choose from but the original glaze is most popular especially fresh. The children love the sprinkles donuts, or chocolate, maple, or strawberry sprinkle, I don't ever really get anything else, sometimes specialized donuts and their donut holes aren't bad either. I haven't really tried their drinks but they have a wide variety of coffee drinks, milks, and sodas. This particular Krispy Kreme has a drive thru and a large seating area indoor and you can see the donuts being made too, a great place to bring children. In the past they used to give out little hats for children. Parking is easy here as it is located within the Willows plaza in Concord and there's plenty of lot parking. My experience at Crispy Creme today 5/12/21 was very unpleasant. I was picking up an order for Door Dash and since there wasn't anybody in line this morning I decided to just go to the window. I was Immediately met by Terrance, who opened the window. He said to me, " I cannot take your order since you didn't stop at the speaker,"... like sir i'm not ordering anything but a HELLO WELCOME TO CRISPY CREME would have been a better way to start that conversation. :) Not to mentions his rude attitude as he kept interrupting me a basically tried to dismiss me off. *After the initial meeting He tells me to put my mask on to which I comply and he asks me "what do I want". I try to inform him at this point that I was picking up an order for Door Dash. But apparently, he couldn't hear me? *keep in mind I repeated myself 5 times so I do the little mask pull-down and finally, he hears me - I get the feeling that he was just doing that because he wanted to be petty. But this is what breaks the Camels back. He then gets upset when I do this and tells me to put my mask back on as if it wasn't already on like dude GET YO EARS CHECKED. so I eventually show him my vaccination card to give him some peace of mind and collect my free donut at least he did that right ... smh*. The sense that I get from this employee is that either he was fed up with his shit or he just needed some milk to dip in his Donuts. WOW! How quickly they have gone Down Hill ! I bought a 6 pack (2 Glazed, 2 Chocolate Glazed & 2 Cream Filled). First the Glazed was almost None Existence on the first 2 (you could only see a little on the bottom), there was NO Cracking/Breaking of the glaze when you squeezed or bit into the Donut. The Chocolate Glaze was Not applied incorrectly, one side of the chocolate was Less than Half the Width of the other on both donuts. The Cream filled only had one good one while the other only had Half of it covered in Chocolate. Looks like they are trying to Save money by selling an Inferior product.. First off, hours are incorrect for this location. It shows it closes at 9 pm and then there is a note saying the drive thru closes at 11 pm. This location really needs to have training sessions for their employees. We LITERALLY stopped by 3 times just to be told that the "Hot and Ready" donuts would be ready, and then they aren't. As we get to the window they are about to charge my debit card one of the workers say "don't charge them, we don't have any hot and ready donuts after all." Like what? So after requesting they double check, they lied and still wasted our time by proceeding to take our order. So you are paying for workers to stand around playing games with customers time and it's unacceptable. Please review your process and procedures. If you are marketing "Hot and Ready" donuts then we expect hot and ready donuts. Don't believe all the negative reviews...I came in early this morning because I wanted to treat my coworkers to some donuts, a great way to start and tackle our Monday morning. I walked in and saw the place was clean, and saw all the workers busy at work. I looked on as the new donuts were rolling out on the conveyor belt, and saw all the donuts behind the glass case. I took my time and made my selection. The person who took my order and fulfilled it was friendly, and courteous. It wasn't what I was expecting based on the negative reviews I had previously read. Kevin made me realize that you can't believe everything you read, and that sometimes a bad apple doesn't mean the bunch is ruined.
