New fave spot during the week there's nothing I love more than amazing sourdough and peanut butter and this toast was just amazing. On top of that their teas are so delicious as well. I love how chill and relaxing it is and how great the service was every time I come by, it's always a great experience

Stopped by for coffee near the location I was in, and I am very satisfied that they offer gluten free options for pastries and food items. Today I got a gluten free pumpkin pastry and a seasonal drink (hot Ube coconut latte). For both items I spend about $12. The place is small and cozy, there is seating area right outside, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend to try this coffee shop if you are in the area!

Very cute neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee and matcha were good. The outdoor space is big but the inside is small. Not really enough space inside to hang out. Small parking lot but got lucky with parking in the front. Will be visiting again when the weather is nice and if I feel like having my drinks outdoors.

Such a vibe. This shop is nestled in a neighborhood that makes it awesome for those around. The coffee is very good and they also have a solid kitchen. Wanting to take a walk and make this your pit stop, I suggest you do! Everyone working is in great spirits and there to help you.

This is a cute place and not too crowded at 10:30 AM on a Saturday. They work fast. There is also plenty of seating outside with umbrellas. The coffee was pretty pricey but they offer plenty of options. Also, very rare to find coffee shops that offer so many milk options, especially macadamia. Their snacks look yummy too, but we didn't get to try anything this time around. I ordered their maple matcha latte and it was divine. Real matcha too! The bf ordered the strawberry basil lemonade and didn't even share haha. I definitely would come back again and support this small business. On a nice day, it's a great spot to hang out with friends and not too loud.

Rooted Coffee has been in my bookmarks for quite some time. My visit was on a Sunday afternoon; this was probably the worst time for a sit-down. Parking was a challenge; the wait was about 20 minutes, and there was nowhere to sit. Luckily, Their tiny, mounted tables on the lot are not only adorable but perfect for a quick coffee sit-down. The Lavender Matcha Latte with oat milk did not disappoint! The beautiful presentation and taste made it worth the wait. The atmosphere was chill with good music vibes, and the staff were friendly. Pros: -Matcha lavender latte -Good for small groups -Food options *I have yet to try -Cute mini tables Cons: -Busy location -Limited seating -Limited parking Dear Rooted Coffee, I'll be back to try your raving avocado toast. dos vientecinco dos mil viente cuatro

I was so excited to come here on a beautiful Monday afternoon and it was the place to be! So much seating outside and everyone had smiles on their faces. I've tried the matcha & pastries at the Walnut Creek location so I knew I was in for a treat already. The service was awesome and I got my order fairly quickly! My iced matcha latte with oat milk was well made (I'd like to say I'm a matcha connoisseur...hehe) & the GF chocolate chip cookie was awesome. It was nice to sit outside and bask in the sun whilst enjoying my food. Great location in Pleasant Hill. It's so lovely! 10/10. *For any first timers, there's a parking lot so it's easy to find a spot even in the afternoon!

My family and I come here whenever we're around the area, and this place never disappoints! The atmosphere is super warm and welcoming, and pet friendly!! We also met the owners and they were super kind and had such a wonderful interaction with them. I definitely recommend their donuts and the lattes are absolutely delicious. I am a huge café lover and this is definitely one of my favorite spots.

Are they open during "shelter in place"?

Their website has been updated today! They're opening up on Tuesday March 24th for online orders and curbside pick up - 9am to 1pm. I'm so excited because I've completely run out of their coffee beans.

Hi! Our entire menu is vegan :)

Are there gluten free items on the menu?

Yes they have gluten free options

What brand of cashew cream cheese does rooted use?

First off, don't let the name fool you because despite its name it's actually a Korean bakery, not a French bakery. They do have a lot of French inspired pastries though, like croissants. I keep seeing people on TikTok eating those cylinder shaped Croissants filled with creamy custard or chocolate cream, so naturally I had to try one when I saw them at the store. I also knew I had to try the Salted Bread since Japanese style salted bread has been super viral all over Asia lately. We ended up getting both, and honestly they were pretty good. Let me start with the Salted Bread, the inside had that signature hollow interior with a slightly crusty exterior, so it felt pretty legit. The salty crust paired really nicely with the buttery flavor of the bread. It was good, but I don't get the hype around it. I know some people are completely obsessed with salted bread, but to me it's basically just really good bread tasting like salted butter. I like it, but it's just not enough to make me obsessed with it. Then we tried the cylinder shaped croissant that was half dipped in chocolate, and that was pretty good too. Obviously room temperature croissants just don't hit the same as warm freshly baked ones, but for room temperature ones, these were pretty solid. I also really liked the interior of the shop. Everything looked super clean, modern, and chic. All the baked goods were displayed really beautifully too. I'd definitely come back again the next time I'm in the vicinity, and next time I'll try some of their other stuff too.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
