Stopped by here on a Sunday around noon and joined the waitlist, which was about a 20-minute wait. Not too bad for a weekend brunch spot. We ordered three items: Gai Gra Prow, which was really good! The spice level gave it a nice kick without being overwhelming. Definitely one of my favorites of the meal. We also got The Hangout Omelette with Crispy Potatoes, which is another solid brunch option. The crispy potatoes were a nice touch and paired well with the cheesy omelette filled with bacon, avocado, and homemade bacon jam. We tried the Berry Lover Toast, which was decent overall, but I think it could have done without the cornflakes. They didn't really add much to the dish for me. Overall, a good brunch spot with flavorful food and a decent variety of options. The place was packed and the wait was reasonable, and I'd consider coming back to try some other dishes!
Key in my name & number on the kiosk and receive a text with the ETA. Today at 11:30am it was 32 minute wait for a party of three. Probably twenty people waiting when we sat down. Started with a cup of thier delicious dark roast. Loco Moco:mushroom gravy over steamed rice with a generous burger cooked medium and a over easy egg on top. Good rich and filling, but not the best version I've had (Kula Bistro on Maui) Fun eclectic menu,fast service and the place was busy.
Thai inspired American brunch! Workers were super sweet and hardworking, food was good! As most folks mentioned, the Ube latte doesn't have much flavor to it but to their defense, I did ask for less sweetness. It was good though! Tasted like milk with a hint of Ube. Might have better luck with the Ube espresso. The Ube pancake was yum. I liked the grapes on top of it, the orange pieces were not the best tho. Chicken and Waffle was good -- it came with a spicy and non spicy maple syrup which was yum. Packing everything to go was great as well. The servers gave us sauce containers so nothing went to waste. Wait was ~45 min at 9am on a Saturday. Came out to $60 dollars for 3 items after TT.

I ended up taking half of the pancakes home. It was a 35 minute wait for two of us to be seated around noon on a Sunday, and after that wait we were offered bar seating and not a table. But the bar area felt less crowded than the dining room, so it worked out okay. Service was quick and efficient. They got my drink order wrong but later realized and let me keep the mistake iced tea as well as the lemonade I ordered.

Early on a Saturday and we were surprised it was relatively quiet. Had the garlic noodles with shrimp and BEC. The noodles were solid, as usual. The BEC was on ciabatta bread, but this time it was the end pieces, which ended up being better - less butter made for a better breakfast sandwich.
We went in on a Monday late morning, and it was actually pretty busy. Maybe it is because summer break has started for a lot of people, so people are out and about. We decide to sit at the bar area to sit on the stools instead of taking up a table. We ordered the crispy chicken eggs Benedict and choco banana pancakes. Let me tell you, the portions are large.. so make sure you bring an appetite. We ended up sharing our plates and I think we both agreed that we loved the crispy chicken eggs Benedict most- but they were both really delicious. The chicken was crispy. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The crispy potatoes, even though at first I was a little disappointed there was no hashbrowns, I am so glad! Those potatoes are amazing! The pancakes were pretty delicious as well, but I think the toppings and the caramelized banana bananas on the side were the best part. We also tried two different drinks. A Matcha latte as well as a 'butterfly pea latte'- which I believe was a lavender latte maybe? They were both very beautiful and delicious. The only downside to our experience here was that because it was pretty busy, our service was not as fast as we would like. So we had to ask for a couple of things, after getting the server's attention. Other than that, we had an amazing experience. We will be back to try more things on the menu soon!
I was hanging with my friends and they wanted to grab some brunch. They suggested trying this places so we gave it a go. The wait can be pretty long. It took us about 30 min before we were seated and we arrived around 1200. We just hung out in the parking lot until our name was called. The menu is pretty straightforward and of course, any brunch place I have to try their eggs Benedict. My usual go to is the Eggs Florentine (I prefer going the meatless options when it comes to my Benny) but the crispy chicken looked visually delicious. Crispy Chicken Benedict: This was as salivating as pictured. The chicken was super crispy, despite being underneath the Hollandaise sauce. Oh, and the sauce itself was perfect. It was their spicier version, so it had a bit of a kick after the second wave. The rest of the Benny is what I expect, the English muffins baked correctly and the eggs poached perfectly. The potatoes were crispy and not too oily as well. Overall, I had a great time at this restaurant. A bit small but it holds its charm. I can see myself coming back here again.
Remember to pick up some noodles! We've visited this place a few times now, mainly for brunch, and it always feels like a special treat. They offer a lovely variety of coffees, juices, alcoholic beverages, and exciting Hawaiian/Filipino American fusion dishes that are worth trying. Since there's usually a long line, arriving early is a good idea. That way, you can hold onto your pager and explore the nearby plaza while you wait. Some of our favorite dishes are the fluffy pancakes, the delicious chicken and waffles, and the satisfying hangover plate. Can't wait for you to experience it!
Bets spot around for good breakfast and brunch. Played some morning golf and came here hungry. Place never disappoints for a good meal.
Came here on a Friday right before noon and it was packed. We got seated at the bar. Got a California burger and chicken & waffle. Both were quite big portion. Chicken was piping hot and very crispy. Burger was decent. Loved the fries. When we left at 12:35, there were less people inside! So maybe people like to do brunch on fridays? Overall, the dishes here seem bigger than the one in Walnut Creek but I didn't order the same dishes so I can't compare . And they didn't raise price in 2 yrs so it's good. I would come back if in the area.
We decided to drive about 40 minutes to try this location instead of our usual spot, and we're so glad we did! The service was amazing, welcoming environment and everyone was genuinely kind, and the food was delicious. My husband loved the fried chicken eggs Benedict--huge, flavorful pieces of chicken and a very filling portion. I had the fried chicken and waffles, and I loved the sweet and spicy syrup! The chicken had a very very thick batter, which isn't normally my preference at all, but it was still good and definitely filling. One piece was almost the same size as the waffle! Of course, we had to indulge in the bottomless mimosas, and they did not disappoint!!! Great flavors, a generous amount of champagne, and they kept them coming. Definitely worth the money!!! I'll absolutely be back to this location. Great food, great service, and bottomless mimosas--what more could I ask for?

The food is served very fresh. We watched the orders and the plating of the food was very nice. You don't need to add any seasoning as the food is very flavorful as is. . They are very friendly and easy to deal with and polite. Always with the fresh coffee and checking in. The location is deceiving as it's pretty large inside and well decorated for a breakfast & Brunch spot. Yes we would go again. read more

Amazing everything. Busy but got sitted with in few minutes. Food is a 10/10 , service is good 9/10 maybe just for servers to visit tables more than once or twice for coffee refills or any other things we might need other than that everything is great. My wife and I decided to go and have brunch yesterday because we were both off (This is rare..lol). We decided on this spot because we love their food and the bottomless mimosas..yummy. We checked on via Waitlist app on their ipad (You can check in online as well prior to coming). It said the wait would be 6 to 16 mins long. We waited less than 5. We sat at the bar, which is towards the back of the restaurant. We did not mind though because we usually get a table. Our waitress was June and she was super nice. She obtained our orders not too long after we sat. She also kept the mimosas flowing (You get 60 mins to enjoy). She was very personable and kept is smiling and laughing the entire time. We also met Jay who briefly serviced us, but talked with me throughout our time there. He was super nice too. Our food arrived hot and exactly how we ordered it. Everything tasted so good. I ordered a California Burger and my wife ordered a omlette, ciabatta bread and potatoes. We were both very satisfied. Lol..I had to take gimme half of my burger and fries tho because I got full. The food was wow! I had the Ube pancakes with fried chicken, and although pricey, it was delicious. The service was excellent, and the latte was good. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, but a bit loud since it's small. We will plan to go back whenever we are in the area. read more
What a cute little breakfast spot! I really wish I could eat more sugary things as their pancakes look amazing!! I settled for the Gai Gra Prow and my friend got the eggs and potatoes. Service was very prompt and quick. my dish was very flavorful. Those pancakes though, I will be back to try them with more company! read more

The Teen enjoyed her waffles and bacon. Unfortunately, my breakfast sandwich wasn't what I expected, the bread was a little too soggy for my taste, and the french fries were OK. Service was cool. Coming to this spot I was reluctant to try Thai brunch. Growing up, we didn't have any real brunch dishes that we considered breakfast. In Asian culture, food was heavy on the rice. So, I stuck to what I knew and got a pad kra pow (which is kind of breakfast-y and also tried a crab Benedict. The pad kra pow was DELICIOUS! Just like mama made and was truly an Asian breakfast. Nostalgia rushed back to me at first bite. The crab Benedict was also so good and made with real crab . The place was bustling but some how the waiters really had some crowd control. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and my visit. Snaps for this Thai brunch spot. read more
Location - convenient in a small plaza with lots of parking Ambiance - simple seating, with a waitlist when busy. It's a small location so on weekends I'm sure the wait can be long. We went on a weekday around 11:30am and were sat right away. Food 10/10 chicken and waffles - the chicken is cooked PERFECTLY. The breading is light, crispy, and flavorful. The waffle was dense and delicious. The hot maple syrup was a great addition (not actually spicy). All the floors went together very well! - the servings are very generous. A few friends had recommended this place because of their ube pancakes, so I decided to check it out myself. Upon arrival, I noticed parking was limited, but we got lucky and found a place to park. The restaurant is located near other restaurants like El Morocco and I think it was an Italian restaurant, though I'm not sure. There were a lot of families waiting outside when we walked up, and I didn't realize that I needed to add my name to a waitlist on a tablet near the entrance. The wait was 49 minutes, so we decided to just wait in my car. The wait time turned out to be about 30 minutes. When we returned, the host called my name and seated us. Man oh man...let me tell you about the table set up, they were so close together, I had squeeze through to get to my seat! Aside from that, the server was very friendly and took our order. I ordered a black pink latte and a tiger prawn dish over rice. The latte tasted really strong, and the tiger prawn dish wasn't for me. The prawns were tough and the rice was mushy. I regret not getting the ube pancakes. My son ordered the smoked salmon benedict and my bf chose the loco moco. My son seemed to enjoy his meal. My bf said that the gravy tasted more like curry than the usual loco moco gravy. Overall, my dining experience was alright. I feel that they need a bigger place with the amount of people that come through the doors. When we walked out there was still a lot of people waiting! Like I said, the tiger prawn dish wasn't for me , but I'm open to giving this restaurant another try -- like maybe order the ube pancakes next time? read more

I've been to the Walnut Creek location and we came to the Pleasant Hill location to try more menu items. The Pleasant Hill location is about half the size of the Walnut Creek location. There was only one outdoor table. About 1/3 to 1/2 of the total seating was bar seating. The parking is also not too bad. It's in a strip mall. So you'll find a parking spot but may need to walk a little. The spots right in front of the hangout are designated for the cleaners. Since this location is so much smaller the wait was a bit longer than the WC one. At noon we waited 20-30 minutes for a seat for two people. The brunch wave seemed to hit a slow spot when we were seated. We ordered the Thai iced tea, black sugar matcha, the hangover, and the garlic noodles with crispy chicken. We were seated at the bar but we were asked if we'd prefer to wait for a table instead. At the bar it's a mix of the people working behind the bar helping you and a server walking behind/next to you. The black sugar matcha wasn't too sweet or earthy. The Thai iced tea was very sweet. I don't think they asked if you wanted dairy milk substitutes. The Hangover is heavy on the basil flavor but very delicious. It is quintessential brunch flavors. I really enjoyed the crispy chicken! I think the chicken was double fried. The chicken was pounded flat. But seasoned well and very crispy without tasty like oil. At first the prices on the menu seem a bit high. But the portion sizes are huge. I only ate about half of the garlic noodles and chicken. I took the rest to go in a leftover box. I saw most people either couldn't finish all their food or asked for to go boxes. So really you get two meals out of it. Each menu item tends to range between $20-30. The food is delicious and it's a decent value! Service was friendly and efficient. We had several different people check on us. After trying several of the special items I am ready to return to try the more traditional breakfast items like the various omelets and pancakes. read more
In all fairness, the restaurant is small, so if you don't like sitting close to other diners, this is probably not the restaurant for you. However, I LOVE this brunch restaurant. I have been multiple times and it is a small cute brunch restaurant with an array of options. I have liked everything I've ordered from there and am always impressed with how fast they seat you even when they are busy. I would highly recommend for a small group outing for brunch. I recommend starting with a Chick Pops, it's an appetizer that is basically the chicken and waffles in bite form without having to fully commit. The Cloud potatoes are delicious. The servers are also always very nice. read more

I visited on Sunday as a walk up. There was a wait but it was indeed worth it. The Ube Latte was perfectly sweet and flavored. The 49er Benedict was a smoked saman Benedict with capers. It was a traditional benny but executed well. I love that the option for a side salad was a nice helping of mixed greens. The hangover was the star of the show. The spices used gives the Asian fusion flare. I could eat this for breakfast multiple times of week honestly. It's packed with flavor and the bacon and sausage gives such a nice texture and saltiness. It was sooooo good! read more
We came around 9am on a Saturday and were able to snag the table outside since we had our pup. It wasn't too busy, but as we were waiting for our food, people were consistently arriving. The staff were super friendly and checked on us often. I ordered the vanilla latte and hubby ordered the caramel latte, both came out extra hot, thick foam and yummy. We ordered the small chicken and waffle plate and eggs Benedict Florentine. The chicken was so crunchy and delicious! The aioli it came with was creamy and a little tangy, it really was delicious. The eggs Benedict was good, it just needed a tad bit more salt. The waitress even gave our pup water. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. read more
Sunday Brunch at the Hangout. Come early to check in at the kiosk. What turned into a 15-30min wait when checking in ended up being almost an hour for a party of 4. Service looks inconsistent, you'll be seated but it may take a while to get your order in or quick (each staff member works differently from observation) and we had to get their attention to place ours. Now for the food: There's that saying "You eat with your eyes first." so to see the amount of food is great but the plating choice/colors makes the presentation monotone and you realize the plate is small to make it look that way (see images). The savory plates needed a little more seasoning for our taste and when it says spicy I did not taste it at all, but the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy soft in the middle. A nice brunch spot to try when in the mood and you have some time, but not a place that we'd return to often. One and done. read more

Crab Benedict with crispy potatoes is soooo scrumptious! I don't know how they manage to make the potatoes crispy in the outside but fluffy soft inside. Whatever the secret it works! Service is awesome too. Very nice staff. Casual, friendly vibe. Definitely going to be regulars! read more
This place is very popular for brunch in the weekend! Or friends were visiting from LA so we came here to eat. We had outdoor seating which was nice. The tables are a bit close together, but not too bad. The waiters were responsive and kept checking in on us (great service)! The drinks and food were all very good. Overall a very pleasant experience and would come back again. read more

Can large parties be accommodated?
I've seen them set up tables for a large party in the tent in front of the restaurant.

Like already said, mimosas are available during the week. They have four different flavors and the waitstaff circulates often. I don't agree with one Yelper who said the ambience and location are not good. 🙄 I HEARTILY disagree. There is a good mix…

They say it's bottomless, but they totally limit you and try to avoid servicing you.

No different stay, different name, and different owners.
Do you take reservation on Sunday's for large parties?
Hi Lisa D, We do not take Reservations on The weekend but, If you come early morning you will not wait too long.
Is this restaurant Dog friendly?
Yes!! They have outdoor seating and you can even ask for a dog bowl for water! Just make sure to go there early because they do get quite busy in the late morning :)
