Torsap Thai absolutely nailed it. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything, trendy and upscale, but still somehow super welcoming and relaxed. It didn't feel stuffy at all, just effortlessly cool. The food? Incredible. The pumpkin curry was hands down a standout! So rich, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. I'm still thinking about it. The drinks were also a highlight beautifully crafted and presented, almost too pretty to drink (but definitely worth it). We came with a party of 12, which can be tricky, but they handled it seamlessly. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and made sure everyone felt taken care of. We even had vegans in our group, and they were just as thoughtful and flexible with those options. Overall, such a great experience! perfect for a group night out or even a date night if you want something a little elevated but still chill. Will absolutely be back.

The food was excellent. I love Thai food and I've been to quite a few (Toomies, Chai Thai, farmhouse) which all have quality dishes. The service here is better and the water is better, even if it's tap, this tap is better than the other Thai places I've been to. The entrees I ordered tonight were really tasty. Got the duck with curry sauce 10/10 duck was well seasoned and not over, sauce was spectacular. Pumpkin curry 10/10 very good. Drunken noodles 10/10 probably one of the best drunken noodles I've had.

This place is awesome. It was our first time and we had called for reservations. We ended up arriving early but they still seated us right away. The service was very friendly and attentive. The decor is modern and halfway through our dinner the music turned up and it had more of a club vibe with flashing lights etc. While it doesn't seem geared towards kids necessarily, our waitress was very fun and nice with my daughter so the can do it all. There was eventually a server in shorts and sunglasses (at night) who kneels at the tables to present your drinks to you. It was very entertaining. The food was awesome. My mother-in-law says it's the best Tuna Tower she's ever had. The crispy rice salad was fantastic and my Khao Soi was incredible. My father in law asked for his curry extra spicy and they did exactly that, so make sure you can hang if you ask for it. We will definitely be back. One of our new favorites in the area and nice to be right downtown.

Excellent Thai food in downtown Walnut Creek - stopped by for lunch today with my better half. We sat at a window table as it was bright, and ordered Thai iced coffee and tea. I ordered a Ka Prow Kai from the prix fixe lunch menu along with a tofu spring roll, she ordered a Tom Kha Soup with Chicken Pad See You, and we decided to share dessert, which was Mango Sticky Rice, of course! My favorite was the fresh tofu spring roll, especially when dipped in the creamy peanut sauce it was served with. I also enjoyed the macaron they served with my dish. My wife loved her tom kha soup and pad see you, and we both enjoyed the mango sticky rice. Nice décor, good service, and convenient street parking across the street ($2 per hour) completed the lovely TTK experience. Happy to return.

I was seated quickly, and the service was attentive in a restaurant with great vibes and beautiful aesthetics. We started with the garlic wings as an appetizer--they were delicious, super crunchy, and loaded with fried garlic. Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for our entrées. My beef curry was flavorful but came out cold. My daughter's lamb chops were cooked perfectly with a fantastic sauce. When I mentioned the cold meal to our waitress, we weren't offered any discount. Overall, it was a really good meal at a nice spot.

I've only been able to come during their happy hours during the day, but everything is so delicious! Don't get carried away like we did and order too many apps... I would not recommend the tuna bites, but I would definitely get the garlic wings, pesto fries, and chicken gyoza again. Wings were super crispy, and chicken gyoza is super juicy and slightly sweet. Pad thai was good too, and appreciated that they were able to put the peanuts on the side. Lychee martini is STRONG and delicious. Can't wait to come back, maybe at night for a different vibe!

Amazing catering items today. The fresh rolls of course are delicious and the presentation with pansies was so beautiful! The chicken fried rice was so yummy and full of tender white meat. Food was ready at specified time.

Torsap Thai is dog friendly (outside patio seating) and ADA friendly, with $24 lunch specials (includes starter, entree and dessert macaron). It's pretty authentic Thai flavors for how upscale the ambiance is. They manly offer chicken, veggie and tofu options. Cute for a business lunch or catch up with friends. I did not get to try their alcoholic beverages, but their hot water ($2) was a cerulean blue color which is something I had never seen before. Street parking is available up front or the nearby parking garage.

If you can find parking on the street nearby, grab it! The parking garage is outlandish and has an inaccurate count. When I stepped inside the building, the hostess wasn't rude, but she wasn't very welcoming either. It wasn't until I met the one-woman show. She was the bartender, waitress, and I believe manager/owner. She was such a joy to be around-some of the best customer service I had received in a long time. She served me a watermelon margarita mocktail. It was a nice rephrasing drink! The calamari was way too thick for my liking. You had to put each piece of calamari in your mouth to avoid taking a bite and making a mess. It was nicely breaded, just not my style. The garlic wings were piping hot when took a bite. Be careful! And l am a all flats type of girlie! I know if I had ranch, it would be on and poppin! Finally, the Crab Fried Rice. If you are a crab lover, get this! You will not be disappointed! It is loaded with crab and flavor. I will definitely be eating this again! I will be back to try different plates! I suggest going in as a group and ordering different dishes to sample!

A very cool drink prepared by the bartender. I love how the container is made of native and organic materials.

I was looking for a Thai place while I was in Walnut Creek, and this resto was recommended by an Asian friend. I went here for a an early dinner. If you like the bar scene and a modern trendy place to go to, then this place just might be to your liking. The place was packed, and I gladly sat at the bar which I enjoyed since I like to watch bartenders mix various drinks. Service is friendly. The vibe is lively. Food was just okay despite being on the pricey side.

My friends got married and did a celebration dinner! They booked a private party and the restaurant had a private room in the back. There was at least 20+ people and we were able to fit comfortably. The ambiance was very warm and romantic with the lighting and decor. They also had a separate table for guests to put gifts or their bags at. The food were all on one side of the room and they were delicious! I didn't take note of every single food but it was good! The food is self serve. The only thing is that, they didn't give us bowls for the curry, but I guess you can pour the curry over rice haha. They also had servers that came around and took our drink orders and also refilled our water. The Thai tea was delicious and sweet. There was a dessert menu and we ordered the big platter to share with multiple people and it was yummy! They also gave us ToGo boxes cause there was a lot of food leftover! That was nice! There are 4 restrooms (unisex) and street parking or parking garages. I would come back here and eat normally (without booking a private party) but also recommend that you can book a private party because it was very nice to be with everyone separately from other customers. Food and service was good too!

Came in on an early Saturday night and were seated right away, which was a great start. Our server was quick to get us settled with water, and the service throughout the night was amazing--very attentive and kept checking in to make sure we were doing great. The food came out quickly and overall tasted really good. The sample platter was flavorful, though a couple items like the calamari and pork belly were a bit over-fried for my liking. That said, the sauces were amazing--each item came with its own dipping sauce, and they really elevated the dish. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Around 5pm they dimmed the lights, which gave the space a nice evening feel, and the decor fit the vibe perfectly. Great service, good food, and a solid spot for dinner.

    Lettuce Wraps and soup
    Thuy V.

Love the decor! Felt very unique. Came here with a few girlfriends to an early lunch. We had a reservation, but if you're early enough, you can walk in. We ordered a few mocktails and they were refreshing and delicious. We got the chicken lettuce wraps- it was good, but felt more like on the dry side. We also ordered the Tom Yum Kha soup. The bowl was big enough for 3 bowls. Wish it had other veggies in there besides the mushrooms. The soup was good though. Other dishes: crab fried rice- superb!! Green curry was delicious and the Eggplant Basil was great! Streets can be crowded, but there are parking garages nearby

From the moment we walked in, the hostess was warm and welcoming, and our server was exceptional throughout the night. The cocktails were also a standout -- the Old Mez, The Vintage, and even my Matcha Bliss mocktail were all . We started with the Brussels sprouts, mussels, and truffle fries. The appetizer portions were generous and satisfying. The mussels were cooked perfectly with a flavorful sauce that had us finishing every bite. The truffle fries were hot and crispy, served with ketchup and aioli. The Brussels sprouts had the perfect crisp in every layer, while the onion, apple, and bacon balanced the dish really well. Unfortunately, the lamb chops completely changed the experience. When the plate arrived, both my husband and I immediately noticed how small the portion was for a $45 entrée -- just a few lamb chops and four small carrots. Compared to the appetizers, it honestly felt more like an appetizer than a main course. I ordered mine medium rare, but my pieces came out rare and chewy with quite a bit of fat, leaving one bite of meat per piece. My husband's pieces were cooked more accurately, but his cuts were a little thicker than mine. For the price point, the dish simply didn't feel worth it or satisfying enough to be considered a true entrée. For two people, including tip, the bill was over $200. We would return, but next time we'd stick to cocktails and appetizers, because that's definitely where Chateau shines.

I go to this restaurant a lot so im still very upset how my family and I were treated and I bullied down to confirm my reservations multiple times. Overall. This is my last time at Elia. I hope this is reviewed and Elia updates their customer service. Thank you to the waiter who did her best with so many issuesz -Kiarra R.

On my last two visits we ordered just from the appetizer selections, and every dish was superb. After seeing a flaming dish at an adjacent table, I knew I had to try it. It was Greek cheese lit on fire, then extinguished with lemon juice. Fantastic. The lamb meatballs and the grilled octopus were outstanding. Definitely one of my favorte places to go.

What a find! I had heard about Montesacro on Check Please (PBS) and decided w needed to…read moreinvestigate. Their Pinsas (Roman style pizza,) are incredible, and the artichoke appetizer was heavenly. Great wine list and attentive service just added to the pleasure. We had reserved an outdoor table weeks in advance, but the night we went it was pouring rain. They graciously accommodated us on a busy Saturday night, which was so appreciated. This is not your typical Italian dinner, as it is Roman style cuisine, and it is outstanding. A definite must try!

I really enjoyed their pizza dishes- the crust is fresh, fluffy, yet perfectly crispy. the toppings weren't too complicated- it was just delicious, simple food. I would also say that the price points weren't too bad at all- the food and the prices were pretty aligned. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and decor, however I wasn't a fan of how they played nightclub/dancing music- which made it all that much louder and difficult to talk. I will also say that the service was very good- considering that it was very crowded at the time, however I had an odd experience with a hostess. I made a reservation in advance to celebrate my mom's birthday- when my family arrived, we were quite literally ignored by the hostess for about 10 minutes. She looked at us, and said "I will be right with you", only to come back 7 more times and ignore us again. She then made us wait 20 minutes into our reservation because another table wasn't finished with their meal. I initially didn't think anything of it (after all, it was a busy night)- until another group of white women who had made a reservation were immediately attended to by this hostess, and were given a table at a significantly better lit area. My indian family was made to sit at the corner of the restaurant, by the bathrooms. However I want to keep in mind that maybe it was a bad day, and the rest of the staff were very polite to us.

I blame ownership for being cheap and not wanting to pay for enough servers. Lastly - DON'T ORDER THE KETTLE CHIPS! The food is good and the beer and scotch whiskey select selection amazing. However Last night, was a terrible experience. One of the worst I've ever had. We walked in and the place was fairly busy. The bartender acknowledged us and we sat down. And that's the last time we were acknowledged. For the next 15 to 20 minutes, the bartender walked by us. Ignored us. Made sure to never make eye contact with us and never even came over to say hello sorry we're busy we will be right with you. Nothing. I've never sat down in a place and then gotten up and left because no one approached us. I mean, that's just crazy to think about. Two people walk in ready to give you their money and you literally don't even say hello to them. So we walked out and went next-door to the Peruvian place and had delicious food and beer. With masses closing, and lots of people looking for a new bar we thought we had found it. This is a profoundly disappointing experience and clear that they simply do not know got to staff the bar properly on a busy day or they're just jerks. Either way I'll be hard-pressed I ever come back
