The food and service here are really excellent. We started with a chicken soup that was a wonderful blend of flavors. We also had roti with a curry sauce and chicken satay. Our favorite main dish was the pumpkin pork, which was served in a squash shell. Incredible presentation and excellent seasoning, without being very spicy. We bulked up with shrimp pad Thai. We rounded out the meal with marinated beef, which was a little tough but tasted great. We also had 3 orders of rice for 5 people. The service was so kind and welcoming, while the food was very, very good. We will definitely be back. The only negative was the noise level. Very good and shockingly reasonably priced given the location in Walnut Creek. It's going to be busy, I can only imagine the amount of meal deliveries they fill everyday, but you can usually get a table for a normal sized group just walking in. Drunken noodles are bomb, and I scoped out a bunch of the other dishes as they were passing by and all of them smelled tasty. Full bar, wine list isn't great, but it's all about the food here. Staff is busy, so service does lag a little bit as they're constantly running back and forth to the kitchen to grab orders for the queue of DoorDash drivers lining up at the front door. Visited for the first time recently for a belated Mother's Day. Amazingly, it's in a small strip mall that has parking. Less than amazing, all the spots have meters and it's $10.50 for three hours! Credit card is the way to go with the meters, because I hesitated after putting in the first quarter (to try to see how much time that bought me) and subsequent quarters did not register. We had a party of six but it was no problem getting reservations for 12:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Good thing we had a reservation because the place was packed on this Sunday early afternoon. Servers were friendly and efficient, always a plus. I had the PraRam and I was very pleased with it. Best PraRam I've had since losing Ginger's Thai restaurant in Martinez. Due to illness in the family, I have been traveling a lot to Walnut Creek. I am there nearly 4-5 days a week, so I have been exploring around the city more than ever. On the upside, I'm getting to eat out a lot more often. One absolute gem and place I would go to, almost every day if I could is Andaman Thai. I'm starting to become a regular and have been working through the menu with my sister and family. There are so many things that I would recommend, but the Pumpkin Curry is at the top. I have taken the pumpkin home twice now and baked it with the leftover curry inside. The fresh spring roll is delicious, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup - so soothing and flavorful, the tenderness of the Grilled Beef Salad or kick to the Tofu Salad. The drunken noodles are delicious, but the pineapple fried rice - ahh, there are too many options. The service is always friendly, fast and welcoming. We ordered a bunch of dishes but the chefs special minced chicken was so unique and packed with heat. The portions here are also huge and are great for the price. Surprisingly impressed.....I don't plan ahead to come here. When My Apple computer crashed, I needed to treat myself to a good meal. Out of this world! Honestly, we had been at the hospital across the street with a family member that had been admitted. We were providing 24/7 company making sure he was cared for. We were able to break away for 2 hours and found this place. The wait was long (45 minutes) but well worth it. I ordered the green Thai curry, a plate that comes with sticky rice and two other items that were delicious although I forgot the name of it but do have to mention that their Thai iced tea was bitter but that could've been a "one off batch". The food is authentic Thai and unapologetically spicy which we loved. We got the lava beef (but they were happy to replace it with chicken as requested) so a plus for the service here. Absolutely delicious! I went here for my anniversary with my partner, and we both really enjoyed the food and drinks. We got the Yellow Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice for dinner and the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The pineapple fried rice is served inside of an actual pineapple which I thought was so cool! For drinks we got the Thai Royal and Moscow Mule. The Thai Royal was very sweet and florally, exactly what I love! The service was also phenomenal. Very quick and kind. He was adamant that we try the tom yum fried rice. So we ordered the pad thai that I was craving and the rice. Everything was extremely delicious. The pad thai was just the right amount of sweet and saucy and the noodles were cooked just right. The rice was the star though. I didn't know fried rice could be that good. Return for lunch and really appreciated the lunch specials. I ordered the ginger eggplant with chicken and my husband ordered the drunken noodle with pork. How to knock down a star because I found a ginger eggplant far too salty. However, it was portioned well and I think the lunch special is a good deal. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and beef, and it came out flawless. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich and balanced, and -- most importantly -- I didn't have to add a single thing. That's how you know it's good. The chicken and beef were cooked just right (not dry, not sad), and the vegetables were fresh and actually green -- not that mystery brown you sometimes get elsewhere. Then came the star of the show: the Tom Kha Soup (spicy, with chicken). First of all... when they say spicy, they mean it. No fake "Thai spicy" here. This soup was savory, bold, and absolutely nailed it. Hands down one of the best Tom Kha soups I've ever had. And as a meat eater, I was impressed -- they didn't skimp at all. The bowl was loaded with perfectly cooked chicken thigh, tender and flavorful. This soup alone is a reason to come back. The ambiance was inviting, and the decor was beautiful, giving the place a warm, authentic vibe that made the experience even better. Everything was delicious, especially the red curry! I also want to shout-out the take-out person who made our order, they did a great job and got all of our adjustments right. (We wanted some things omitted/on the side) I was nervous there would be a mistake but it was perfect so shout out to whoever that is. And I could see on the receipt they checked everything off so I appreciate that. The one thing I do not like about this place is that you have to pay for the rice separately when you buy curry. I knew this before ordering so I just made some at home, but I find that very odd. Who is going to eat curry just as is? It's like serving a bowl of alfredo and charging extra for the fettucine. It seems to me like a random way to get more money out of guests; I don't know why else it would be that way. Rice costs barely anything; they should consider including it and maybe adding a dollar or something to the entree. I've been to the one in San Ramon and I've eaten at this one too gotten the curry and the rice and the Thai tea and it's always so good. The service is really nice and it has a great ambience. It was really crowded at lunchtime. The only bad thing is the parking lot you have to pay for parking and I think that stinks but that is not the fault of the restaurant. I highly recommend it.
