My frustration with this Thai restaurant is they charged me for extra meat and combination and I asked for medium and it was super hot when I called to get it resolved. would come down to restaurant last resolution was I could come back down to the restaurant and have them remake it for me. That's just ridiculous. I ordered from GrubHub. It was a delivery so my resolution is I will no longer go to this Thai restaurant nor will I use GrubHub that way I won't have that problem anymore.

Stopped here after a Kaiser appt and found the best (and prettiest) pumpkin curry i ever remember having. It was slightly spicy without being overwhelming. Definitely a place i will return to.

I don't get Thai often, but this restaurant changed that! I loved every single dish I ordered and can't wait to go back and try more. The mango in the sticky rice dessert was perfectly ripe. The pumpkin curry had was a nice balance of sweet and savory. Loved the presentation of it, and thought I could eat the bowl The waiters were very attentive, and the setting was on the nicer end of casual.

Had another excellent dinner at Andaman. Service was excellent, as usual. Tried the chicken noodle soup, which was very good. Standouts were the grilled pork entree and yellow curry. Never had mango sticky rice for dessert. It was nicely presented and tasty.

Surprisingly impressed.....I don't plan ahead to come here. When My Apple computer crashed, I needed to treat myself to a good meal. I looked on Yelp and they came up and I decided to give them a try. I had the papaya salad, fried rolls and a beef stir fry. I also ordered pumpkin curry to go-- 10 out of 10! The service was great and everything was yummy. I will be back. Make sure you have money for the private parking meter because the owner of the lot will give you a ticket.

We made reservations for a Sunday night and it was full house! Rule of thumb for bigger parties definitely snag a reservation by calling them to ensure no wait. We ordered a bunch of dishes but the chefs special minced chicken was so unique and packed with heat. The portions here are also huge and are great for the price. The drunken noodles were good but weren't anything special and weren't spicy either. The cashew chicken was alright, I'm not a big fan of nuts so I didn't gravitate towards it. Despite the restaurant being so busy, the service was great and I'd definitely recommend this spot!

Due to illness in the family, I have been traveling a lot to Walnut Creek. I am there nearly 4-5 days a week, so I have been exploring around the city more than ever. On the upside, I'm getting to eat out a lot more often. One absolute gem and place I would go to, almost every day if I could is Andaman Thai. I'm starting to become a regular and have been working through the menu with my sister and family. There are so many things that I would recommend, but the Pumpkin Curry is at the top. I have taken the pumpkin home twice now and baked it with the leftover curry inside. The fresh spring roll is delicious, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup - so soothing and flavorful, the tenderness of the Grilled Beef Salad or kick to the Tofu Salad. The drunken noodles are delicious, but the pineapple fried rice - ahh, there are too many options. The service is always friendly, fast and welcoming. The place is comfy, great for bigger groups and has a great beverage, beer and cocktail menu.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday...and warning, if you park in the parking lot, it's a metered parking, so you'll have to pay - that was shocking to me! Besides that, the restaurant's ambience and interior was pretty and intimate. The menu was like a storybook with big fonts, pretty photos, detailed, etc. We ordered the mango salad, pad see ew with beef, and tom yum soup with chicken. The mango salad was fresh. The pad see ew with beef was delicious, I wish there was more. I had to ask for some spicy sauces/chili to add onto the pad see ew because I love spicy! The tom yum soup with chicken was okay, it didn't seem as flavorful as other tom yum soup I had before. Service was great!

Pad Thai was great! Also got the Roti and curry appetizer and that was amazing the roti is buttery flakey and the curry has amazing creamy flavor! Only thing is the bathrooms get crowded.

Food was very good, service attentive. Huge location and nice decor. However it is a local mall that you have to pay for parking. I prefer the San Ramon location because of this.

Came for an office lunch celebration - it seems to be a pretty busy spot during lunch hour. The staff was very nice & quick, and the ambience was very inviting. Their lychee tea is one of my favorites - just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered the drunken noodles, which is one of my favs. It was pretty good but wasn't really spicy. The pricing isn't too bad, so I'll definitely be back to try more items.

Sat at the bar first time here. Smelled so good and very clean. Had the Camus red blend wine. It went Great with my yellow chicken curry. Chicken satay with peanut sauce was good. Drunken noodle beef was very tender and tasty. Definitely coming back Nok was very helpfull 2nd generation

Ask the Community - Andaman Thai

    Do they take reservations?

It depends. For large groups yes. Otherwise they try to avoid taking reservations.

Do we have to pay for parking?

Definitely pay the meters, they will and have ticketed others in the restaurant. Even for pick ups.

Is their a gluten free menu that states which items are gf?

I ordered from their online menu and when you click on the item, some items have an option to select "gluten free." Those items can be made gluten free upon request.

    Does this restaurant have wine?

Yes. We’re serving beers and wines.

I reached out immediately and said let's meet for lunch at Veggie Today. So glad we did- we both really enjoyed our lunches. We ordered off the lunch menu for $8.95 that includes white or brown rice. My friend had the Mongolian beef and I had the lemongrass beef. We both agreed we would happily go eat here all the time. So glad this restaurant is back on my radar. The restaurant is super cute and clean and the servers are so kind and welcoming. We got 4 dishes: Plant-Based Drumstick as an appetizer. They were chewy, crispy, well seasoned and the sauce was tangy and sweet. Fried rice. Honestly I'm a huge fan of fried rice and this fried rice might be my new favorite beating out even fried rice that I love that isn't vegetarian. It was chewy, super flavorful, veggies were perfectly cooked. It was just perfect. Caramelized chicken. This dish was good. The imitation chicken was chewy and tender with crisp caramelized edges. The sauce was sweet and it was balanced out by the veggies and spinach served with it. Bamboo soup. It was so delicious and simple but the broth was so umami and savory. The veggies were so fresh and so well prepared. This is definitely a new favorite spot for us. Looking forward to going back.

I am vegetarian and have eaten at many vegetarian restaurants over the years. I would confidently say that Blossom and Root is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area and it may be my favorite restaurant hands down. Food: Key to a great restaurant is consistency. The food and dishes are consistently great at Blossom and Root over many visits. I have tried the Smash burger, yellow curry, Mediterranean bowl, french toast, pancakes, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and several other dishes. Yellow curry is my hands down favorite but honestly no dish has ever disappointed. Every dish is always very freshly prepared. You can tell. They have a kids menu as well. Kids will also love the "experience" of the Butterfly bubbles drink! Just try it! Ambiance: Cute restaurant with a modern craftsmen kitchen feel. It feels like you are eating at the home of a friend with a nice house. Casual vibe that is kid friendly. Service: Servers and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it can get slow for attention when they get busy.

It was about 1/4 cup quinoa and millet and more tangerine oranges than grains. Look at the difference of portion sizes from our experience vs Yelp photos. I felt this was inadequate and asked for more grains. I got a 1/2 cup of extra quinoa (only). Tofu scramble and pancakes (adult and kid versions) were good. The server tried to insinuate that the adult pancakes weren't enough, but they were more than enough. We also ordered one orange juice for a child (paper cup with a copper straw jammed through the opening) and hot tea. Honest review, it was overpriced and moderately good. I would not return; quality and value for 3 adults and 1 child was not worth $100+ including tip. Hope they consider my feedback to improve; this place has great potential.

Can I give Seven Stars?!…read more Once in a rare while, one's experience is way above and beyond one's expectations! Thanks to Justin (Director of Operations) and Andy (Asst. General Manager), we were the fortunate ones yesterday! Rest of the story: we booked the entire restaurant for a lunch event on Sunday. With about 70 guests, the event went exceptionally smoothly and everyone had a great time! Not even one unhappy guest! The food, as usual, was exceptional. Justin personally tended the bar - with his staff - and kept everyone happy with their exotic cocktails. The fresh coconuts were so delicious and popular that I later heard them tell each other: "coconuts are 86!" He even made a very selective guest happy with a special sipping tequila! What made the most impact was their attitude. They dealt exceptionally well with demanding customers and cheerfully served the rest! Andy helped plan the event with cocktails, appetizers, mains and desserts. They suggested creating a Spotify playlist for the event and that worked great. From the beginning till the end, their flexibility, attitude and willingness to make every possible effort to make it a great event was obvious! Seven stars!
