We made last-minute reservations at Chateau and overall had a great experience with a disappointing ending. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was warm and welcoming, and our server was exceptional throughout the night. The cocktails were also a standout -- the Old Mez, The Vintage, and even my Matcha Bliss mocktail were all . We started with the Brussels sprouts, mussels, and truffle fries. The appetizer portions were generous and satisfying. The mussels were cooked perfectly with a flavorful sauce that had us finishing every bite. The truffle fries were hot and crispy, served with ketchup and aioli. The Brussels sprouts had the perfect crisp in every layer, while the onion, apple, and bacon balanced the dish really well. Unfortunately, the lamb chops completely changed the experience. When the plate arrived, both my husband and I immediately noticed how small the portion was for a $45 entrée -- just a few lamb chops and four small carrots. Compared to the appetizers, it honestly felt more like an appetizer than a main course. I ordered mine medium rare, but my pieces came out rare and chewy with quite a bit of fat, leaving one bite of meat per piece. My husband's pieces were cooked more accurately, but his cuts were a little thicker than mine. For the price point, the dish simply didn't feel worth it or satisfying enough to be considered a true entrée. For two people, including tip, the bill was over $200. We mainly came back for the caviar deviled eggs. They are freaking amazing!!! My only small note: I asked for a little extra dressing since the kale wasn't fully massaged, but that's a personal preference and didn't take away from how delicious it was. I came with a group of 7 women, and there is an automatic 20% gratuity for larger parties. While the service was fine, it was extremely basic -- not bad, just nothing over-the-top -- so the gratuity felt a little steep for the level of service. That said, I understand it from a business standpoint. Can we talk about the bathrooms for a second? Large, absolutely beautiful, and fully stocked at all times. This was my first visit to Château, I made a 7:30 reservation for a Saturday party of 3 girls night! We checked in at 7:30 and was advised they are working on our table at about 7:45 I still didn't hear anything so I went back to the check in and was advised it would be a little bit longer. Around 8pm of the check in girls brought us a glass of champagne and apologized for the wait. We were finally sat at 8:10 40 mins after our scheduled reservation, which was frustrating. After we were sat our waitress advised she would grab us water and some cocktails we ordered. Cocktails were brought but no waters, we then reminded the waitress and still no waters. We had another waiter by the name of Devin walk by who asked how the night was going and we advised not so well, and he brought us water immediately and checked in on us during the night, which we appreciated. So glad I didn't bail out on them and go to the dumpling place! My husband ordered the kale caesar salad as his entree with chicken since he's on a low carb diet. Loved my time here!!! Came in on a Sunday right when they opened. My friend and I were seated quickly and took advantage of their brunch offerings. First off the aesthetics alone!! Super vibey, chill and cozy. It reminded me of a lounge in West Hollywood. There's also a lounge area upstairs that can be rented out for parties, etc. Services- since we got there early we were seated very quickly. Our server was great! She was polite, offered her suggestions on the menu and checked in without being overbearing. Food and drinks - 10/10!! We ordered the espresso martini and the la vie en rose. Absolutely recommend them! Super yummy and not too sugary. We ordered the chateau breakfast and açaí bowl to share with a side of the truffle fries. OMG. So good!!! Honestly, the best truffle fries I've had in the east bay! We were told that it can absolutely get busy, so reservations are recommended Thursday, Fri and Sat. But we went for brunch on a Saturday and our experience was incredible! Looking forward to coming back soon! read more

Came here for a girls night and had the best time. Even though there was only outdoor seating available, we stayed warm with the heat lamps and blankets. The outdoor patio is well sheltered with high walls so it blocks out the wind. We paired our cocktails with some dishes which we shared family style. Everything was delicious! You really can't go wrong. The deviled eggs were some of the best ever. The angel hair pasta was so light and fresh, with big juicy prawns and plenty of clams. The olive oil cake was the only slight disappointment to the meal, since it took awhile to come out and was cold and gritty. The cream didn't seem quite right, but overall it wasn't bad. read more
