Middle of the road in my opinion. Came on a Tuesday around 1:15pm for a late lunch. Plenty of seating which was nice. Hostess was pleasant and the place was clean. Server Miko iirc was friendly and timely. Bread and olive oil dip with tomato's was very good. The flaming appetizer we ordered was also amazing. The drinks were ok but but maybe on the lighter side re alcohol amount. The gyro and fries is what I ordered and the fries were good but the gyro was super dry. I asked for extra sauce but even that was thick and dry. Wifey ordered the eggplant dish that has good flavor but was also dry. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could because for the price, I expected better food. When I told the server that it was dry and that we didn't even want the half full plates that we didn't finish, I think he should have comped one of the dishes or maybe a gave us more drinks or something. I doubt that we'll come back. I've had better Gyro in Cordelia, Vallejo and Napa. If you're in Walnut Creek and considering Elia, I'd recommend going next door to Limón.

Nice place to grab some drinks. Very aesthetic and staff is very nice. Didn't try the food this time but will most likely return.

    One of their signature cocktails!

Great ambiance, excellent service, and a great selection of food and drinks. One of my go to spots anytime I visit Walnut Creek!

Came here Tuesday evening with some friends. There is plenty of seating and I love the clean decor. Service was on point. The food was also fantastic. Every dish was flavorful and the meat dishes were very tender. Their cocktails are also great - they also have a few good mocktails as well. All in all a great dinner place that I will definitely come back to.

This meal was fantastic. Bread is really good 10/10 olive oil dip has whole olives. The pikilia sampler, god bless America. The review is for the tahini, that's a 30/10 tahini. Take my money please. Chicken souvlaki 10/10 skewers were cooked perfectly, seasoned well, more tahini (: couscous was good. Bucatini astakos 10/10 bucatini's my fav Italian noodle, the seafood stew/soup/sauce was extremely flavorful. Service is good, seated at rush hour with no reservation, host at the front was amazing!

Elia went above and beyond to ensure an excellent birthday dinner! Everyone that we interacted with was incredibly kind. We were seated and given personalized menus (that said happy birthday on them). I highly recommend the coconut ceviche (it even comes in a half coconut). We had the paella (the lobster on top was quite impressive) and the beef. The cocktails were delicious! We loved the tequila cocktails. The coconut cake was delicious! We will definitely be back! The restaurant was fun and nicely decorated! Food was excellent and service was also excellent!

Hi all, I'm not sure this will matter to most people, but this experience rubbed me the wrong way. I came here last week with a friend to try the restaurant. The food was good, and the service was okay nothing exceptional, but not bad either. The issue came up because I have very sensitive eyes and was dealing with a headache. There was a small light on our table that brightness was bothering me, so I turned it off. It did not seem like a big deal at all , however, when you're uncomfortable and trying to enjoy your meal, it becomes a bigger deal. After I turned the light off, our waitress came over and turned it back on. I politely explained that the light was bothering my eyes and asked if I could keep it off. She told me no, stating that it was restaurant policy for the table lights to remain on. I told her that it was too bright and was bothering my eyes and she said no again . What disappointed me was the lack of accommodation. If I'm spending $170-$200 on a meal, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for one small light at our table to be turned off, especially when every other table already had theirs on. One table without a light wouldn't have affected the atmosphere or anyone else's experience. Again, I know this sounds like a small complaint, but it felt unnecessary and inflexible. A little understanding and customer accommodation would have gone a long way.

If you want the authentic Greek experience, fly to Greece. But if you're craving delicious Greek food closer to home, head over to Elia in Walnut Creek, it might just save you the cost of a plane ticket while still amazing your taste buds. We started with the crispy zucchini appetizer, which was the perfect crunchy beginning to the meal. The salad was light and refreshing, and the burrata with figs was a sweet and surprisingly delicious combination, not something I would normally order, but absolutely worth trying. For our entrée, we shared the chicken skewers with rice and salad, and it was more than enough for two girls reminiscing about our fun college days. The atmosphere and décor were vibrant and inviting, especially sitting outside on a gorgeous sunny day. Parking was easy with a nearby garage, or if you're lucky, you can grab street parking. We skipped dessert only because we had our eyes set on bundt cakes down the street, but I'm sure the desserts here are just as wonderful. This is the perfect spot for fresh food, good vibes, and a relaxing afternoon or evening. There's even a theater nearby, making it a great dinner-and-a-movie destination all within walking distance. I loved the food, the customer service was excellent, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you, Elia!

We had an amazing time here! The vibe is great--lively but still quiet enough to easily talk. We mentioned we were celebrating a special occasion in our reservation, and the staff paid so much attention to us and made it feel really special. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the coconut ceviche, calamari, and paella, and every single dish was a hit. The drinks were amazing, too! Highly recommend this spot, especially if you're celebrating something!

Came to Elia in Walnut Creek with a group of five to celebrate a birthday and had an amazing experience from start to finish. When I made the reservation on OpenTable, they actually reached out ahead of time asking for the birthday name and even printed it on the menu. Such a thoughtful touch! Service was outstanding all night, and the food absolutely delivered. The filet mignon souvlaki was tender and flavorful, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection super crispy! Later in the evening, the DJ even gave our table a birthday shout-out, which really elevated the whole night. Great service, great food, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. Highly recommend for birthdays or special occasions.

A really cute Greek restaurant with well-prepared Greek fare. The Pikilia appetizer dish, with its assortment of dips and pita bread, was a great way to start the menu. The lobster tail bucatini and filet mignon soulvaki were both delicious. I'd highly recommend trying both dishes. They've got some really fun cocktails, including an electric blue-colored one (a bit fruity) where they blow aromatic bubbles onto the surface. Playful presentation.

Met here for a business lunch and since it was a beautiful day, sat outside. We started with mock tails, both of which were pretty in looks and very tasty! We shared some fried olives and spanakopita. One had the mushroom risotto and one had the keftedes. We finished the meal with the mango mousse. The olives are crispy and salty and stuffed with peppers. The keftedes were flavorful but a bit dense. My colleague throughly enjoyed the risotto and we were both in love with the mango mousse! Service was fast and friendly and both the indoor and outdoor spaces felt bright and light.

Beautiful modern Greek restaurant for a special night out. We went here for date night and it was a total hit! It's such a cute spot with very attentive service and the food was delicious and presented so beautifully, it was definitely picture perfect! They have a fun drink menu with a long list of mocktails, which I really appreciate. I got the "Nectar of the Gods" and it was a fun fruity, no -alcoholic drink. The decor was fresh, young, and very relaxing. I'd definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out with good food and good, upbeat vibes.

    What is the noise level?

Depends on when you go. Once they have live music, it's obnoxiously loud to the point you have to yell to whoever you're with to communicate. When they don't have a performer, it's chill.

How much are two espresso martinis?? I have a charge on my card for 43$ for two drinks!? That can not be accurate I think maybe I was overcharged!?

    Their website says $16 each.

Are kids allowed at this restaurant?

Yes, I did see some children there on our last few visits. The staff was very attentive with them from what I saw.

Do you have a Kids menu?

No, there is not, but I'm sure the waiter can suggest a few things for a child to eat.

What time does the DJ start on Saturdays?

    8 pm every Friday-Saturday

How can I make a reservation? No online feature?

I've been here twice now, once for happy hour and once for dinner. I wasn't a fan of happy hour only being available on the patio. Since it was summer, I think most people would've preferred the AC over 90-degree heat. My dinner experience, however, was much better. My friend and I were seated inside and ordered the cucumber salad, sweet potato tempura, and Hokkaido scallops. For drinks, we had the Strawberry Paloma and the Calypso, which came with a fiery shot of rum served inside a lime. Our server, Priscilla, started us off with complimentary marinated olives. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout the meal. The cucumber salad was savory and refreshing. The sweet potato tempura had an incredibly crispy exterior with a slightly candied crunch. It was delicious. The Hokkaido scallops, served on a tostada with a savory sauce underneath, were another standout. To my surprise, the restaurant transforms into more of a club after 9 p.m. We wrapped up our 7 p.m. reservation around 10, just as the DJ started and the party crowd rolled in. I'd definitely come back for dinner, or stop by later in the evening for drinks and dancing with friends.
