We visited Saneh today after a toddler hike. The location was very convenient, they had plenty of parking available and the lady working here was so kind. We came in, ordered a couple different items and had our food arrive pretty quickly. It was all delicious and approved by the kids. I also would like to highlight the fact that they had reusable plastic plates, utensils and cups!! We really appreciate how flexible they were and how we didn't get any side eyes for having our kids there.

Checking out this place in Pleasant Hill!

Came across Saneh Bangkok while waiting across the street at the John Muir Medical offices. It was lunchtime and they offered lunch specials. Upon entering, tables were full, a good sign that the food must be good. I ordered the Crab Rangoons and Thai Fried Rice with pork to go. The wait wasn't that long. Their Crab Rangoons was one of the BEST I had! They were shaped like a cube and full of filling. Fried rice was delicious! Highly recommend! Will definitely come back to try others but will order more Crab Rangoons next time!

Ordered a bunch of items from DoorDash. They didn't have the option to choose condiments but when I called, the person that answered the phone was incredibly friendly and was able to add them to my order. I got the: Green curry - has great flavor but a little too salty Fried chicken roti - unfortunately it tasted like they need to change the oil in the fryer. It was soaked in oil, overcooked, and had a weird aftertaste Thai fried rice - did not taste like a Thai fried rice at all. Unfortunately tasted like Chinese fried rice with even less seasoning Cucumber salad - minimal dressing, just a bunch of naked vegetables Tom yum - ordered this with tofu. They fried the tofu which changed the flavor of the broth. It unfortunately made the dish unpleasant and I cannot eat it Sticky rice - has the perfect stick and I was able to dip in my curry Pad Thai - veeeerrrryyyy sweet and not the sour tamarind flavor I'm used to

The food here was great! I liked all three dishes we ordered. The fried chicken with massaman curry was really crispy and that was my favorite out of the dishes we had. Food does tend to be on the saltier side. I noticed they have lunch specials on weekdays for just $15.99 for an appetizers entree, I would want to try those next time! Good value. Good flavors. Will come again!

The coworkers and I decided to dine out but in for lunch. The food was yummy and food flavor. Service was awesome From the moment we walked through the door. Ambience was good and company was even better.

This was my second time visiting Saneh Bangkok in Pleasant Hill and overall it continues to be one of the better Thai spots in the area. The cocktails are creative, the ambiance is really nice, and most of the dishes we tried were very flavorful with just a couple small things that fell a little short this time. Service was good throughout the evening. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and answered all of our questions about the menu. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. In the evening the lighting is dim which gives it a more intimate feel. It is a great place for a date night or dinner with friends. We started with cocktails and tried three. I ordered the Rattana. It was good but slightly sweeter than my personal preference. The drink is very floral forward so if you enjoy rose flavors you will probably really like this one. We also ordered the Saneh Bangkok cocktail which I thought was very well balanced. It had a nice mix of tartness and sweetness with a little kick from the dried chilies. My personal favorite was the Mahanakhon. It was very refreshing and the combination of orange wine with passionfruit and pineapple juice paired really well with all of the food. One of my favorite Thai dishes anywhere is papaya salad and theirs did not disappoint. I like that the papaya pieces are not perfectly uniform because it adds extra crunch and texture. The chili lime dressing had the perfect amount of spice. Next we ordered the roti dip. Flavor wise it was very good. The roti was buttery and flaky and tasted great with the dip. My only small complaint is the portion size. You are given one small piece of roti so if you are sharing with more than two people I would recommend ordering another one. For our main dishes we ordered the pad see ew with chicken, the pad gra pow with beef, and the massaman curry with jasmine rice. The pad gra pow and the massaman curry were both excellent. The curry was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The one dish that fell a little short for me this time was the pad see ew. It is usually one of my favorite dishes and the first time I had it here it was very delicious. Unfortunately on this visit it had a slightly bitter almost burnt taste. For dessert we ordered the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were perfectly ripe and fresh and the sticky rice was warm and comforting. My only note is that it was a little sweeter than I expected. It may have had a little too much condensed milk but it was still very good overall. Overall I would definitely come back. The cocktails, papaya salad, and curries are worth returning for. Tip if you are sharing appetizers with more than two people order an extra roti. Also do not skip the cocktails. The Mahanakhon was my favorite.

Great Thai restaurant that is more authentic and unique tucked in Pleasant Hill. I have been here for lunch and dinner and both times had a great experience. You can have spicy Thai dishes here if you specifically ask for higher spice level. Their roti and pad kee mao is very tasty and the specials menu have a lot of dishes you don't typically find in other Thai restaurants. I really like they offer lunch specials that come with an appetizer and an entree. It is $15 and feels like an awesome deal! Will be back for more

The food is authentic Thai, fresh, simple ingredients. It's like eating homemade food. It's the Best Thai in this area. The service is great very hospitable and friendly. The place feels like you are a little place in Thailand . Definitely a must try and visit. The side Chiles with Fish sauce are also homemade . They have small details that make in dining special .

Goong Grabog - Marinated crispy shrimp rolls, side of sweet and sour sauce

I found Saneh Bangkok on yelp the other day and so my Husband and Father-In-Law went there for lunch. We loved the food. The ambiance is fun, clean and modern. But still has Thai design elements. It's a beautiful space. The service was good. They kept filling our waters and checking in. I would recommend everything we ordered. For an appetizer we got Goong Grabog (Marinated crispy shrimp rolls, side of sweet and sour sauce). The shrimps were tender and crispy. The sauce was homemade and sweet with a slight kick. My FIL got the Suki (soup with silver grass noodles, egg, chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, carrot, onions, cabbage, sesame soy bean broth). He loves a good soup and said it was super fresh and tasty. He finished the whole thing. My husband got the Pad Kee Mao (Flat rice noodles, homemade spicy sauce, choice of protein, eggs, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, basil), he said it was super fresh and flavorful. Their noodles were also excellent. I got the Kua Gai (Flat rice noodles, homemade sweet sauce, egg, chicken, shrimp, chopped romaine, green onions, crispy rice paper). It was served with homemade sriracha and it was exceptional. We will definitely be back again. This is my new favorite thai spot. It's authentic, creative and fresh. They use quality ingredients and you can taste it. 10/10 recommend.

My mom has been wanting to try Thai food for the longest time and after doing some research on highly rated Thai restaurants in the pleasant hill/concord/Walnut Creek area, I found Saneh Bangkok. Parking: shared lot with other businesses. Lot is small though so not much spots available. We arrive Sunday evening around 6:30 pm and we only found one spot available. Ambiance: cozy and modern. Each table is equipped with a mini lamp which creates an intimate atmosphere. Open bar area. Table seating. This is a great spot to take a date. Service: 3.5/5. When we entered, no one acknowledged us. One staff making drinks, one staff on the phone and the other is delivering food to the table. We stood there for a few minutes before the staff on the phone hinted that she will be right with us. After seated with the menu, no water was provided. I saw one girl bringing water to another table and packing the customers leftover but there was no intention of bringing us water. A male wait staff finally approached our table, further acknowledged our presence and provided us water. He took our order and periodically checked in on us throughout dinner. Hence, the 3.5 stars is solely because of him. Otherwise, it would have been 1 star for service. Food: 4/5. Between 2 people, we ordered the crab fried rice, pad Thai with beef and mango sticky rice. Portion sizes were very generous. We left with a box full of pad Thai. The highlights were the crab fried rice (large chunks of crab meat) and the mango sticky rice (just the right amount of sweetness and tart). The crab fried rice was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The pad Thai was just ok, the beef was over cooked and rough. Cost: $$. Solid prices given portion sizes and taste. Will I return? Definitely, I can't wait to bring my dad here. I think he will appreciate the authentic Thai food.

Nice chill spot to grab a bite. Nice lunch special particularly. Anchun lemonade was good. Also note a prior time we had the fried chicken which was bomb!

Good authentic Thai food are hard to find in the Bay Area, and we found one! Located off a main road in a strip mall with ample parking, expect to be put on a waiting list during peak dining hours but worth the wait. Beautifully decorated and friendly staff are the first thing you'll notice walking in (only one restroom stall). Restaurant is not that big with seating for about 40 people. The food is excellent all around and the paste and sauce taste fresh. To round it off, this place got amazing pairing cocktails (order your food and ask the Waiter for cocktail recommendations).

He ended up ordering an iced turkish coffee with milk. It was hot outside, so I went in to grab some water. Their water container was not only basically empty, but it was also warm. Gross. I decided I would rather pay for a cup of iced water (because in a lot of the places I've been to, they charge for it). I go up to the register and ask if I can buy a plastic cup with iced water. The cashier/pastry cook/barista says, "Water?" and I repeat that I want a cup with iced water. She says, "Ice?" and I say, yes please. She goes right next to where the other barista is and she grab a scoop full of ice and gestures it to me. I'm kind of confused by this point, and it seems like the other barista is too. And then I ask again if I can get it in a plastic cup. Then the other barista points to one of the paper cups next to the warm water container, but then I ask them again if I could please get it in one of the cups they have, (because I wanted to be able to carry it around with a lid). That's when the other barista says, "You're doing too much, but okay." And she passes me the plastic cup, without a lid, acting as if I just asked her for her whole paycheck and half the drinks on the menu. I'm definitely annoyed at this point, but I don't care enough to be rude back. Then she says she's going to fill up the container. So she goes, gets the container to fill it up, and I'm there waiting with my friend in the store. It looks like she's the only barista there, so it keeps taking a little longer for the drink(s) to come out. When she finally comes back with a semi-filled container, I'm conversing with my friend, when she turns sharply and says, "Were you going to order anything??" in a pretty snappy tone, as if I'm only worth giving a plastic cup to if I'm going to order more. We reply that we already ordered, and she goes back to finish drinks that a previous customer had ordered. It's two drinks, and I assume that it took about 12-15 minutes for them to receive what looked like small hot drinks. I say this because these customers were sitting there well before my friend and I arrived, took time to order, and then were waiting for our drinks. After that, we're still waiting while she goes to take orders, and that's when the cashier/pastry cook/barista woman finishes my friends drink... after having stood there FOREVER while the other barista was going in circles. I was shocked to say the least, kind of amused, but also disappointed because these customers drink was about 8-9 bucks, the wait time was about 8-10 minutes, and the drink was disgusting. Actually insane. I don't recommend this place whatsoever. Place looks mid, service was abominable, and the workers look like they hate each other and anyone who asks for a plastic cup with iced water. Do better, and preferably give us back our money for the nasty drink+attitude combo.

We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. I'm so happy to see an Asian bakery in downtown Pleasant Hill, especially a Korean bakery. And…read moreyesss, we got Paris Baguette! First off, don't let the name fool you because despite its name it's actually a Korean bakery, not a French bakery. They do have a lot of French inspired pastries though, like croissants. I keep seeing people on TikTok eating those cylinder shaped Croissants filled with creamy custard or chocolate cream, so naturally I had to try one when I saw them at the store. I also knew I had to try the Salted Bread since Japanese style salted bread has been super viral all over Asia lately. We ended up getting both, and honestly they were pretty good. Let me start with the Salted Bread, the inside had that signature hollow interior with a slightly crusty exterior, so it felt pretty legit. The salty crust paired really nicely with the buttery flavor of the bread. It was good, but I don't get the hype around it. I know some people are completely obsessed with salted bread, but to me it's basically just really good bread tasting like salted butter. I like it, but it's just not enough to make me obsessed with it. Then we tried the cylinder shaped croissant that was half dipped in chocolate, and that was pretty good too. Obviously room temperature croissants just don't hit the same as warm freshly baked ones, but for room temperature ones, these were pretty solid. I also really liked the interior of the shop. Everything looked super clean, modern, and chic. All the baked goods were displayed really beautifully too. I'd definitely come back again the next time I'm in the vicinity, and next time I'll try some of their other stuff too.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
