Eureka is probably one of the more underrated burger and whiskey joints around. Their multiple happy hour, late opening hours, really good food, great beer tap list, and remarkable whiskey collection make them one of our go-to locations. The staff has consistently been friendly, accommodating, and quick with service. I also enjoy their whiskey club, but even if you don't join it, they have every bottle available for purchase or drinks at the bar. And some of those bottles were highly rated and very hard to find. Their burgers are tasty and juicy and they bring new versions out that are usually pretty imaginative. Overall, we really like Eureka for its atmosphere, burgers, whiskey, and beer. Service is the worst ever. Super hungry. Been sitting for 30+ minutes. Server never even came by to introduce themself. Not even water was given. We were asked by a staff if we've been helped and told her, "not yet". She said that she will get our server. Welp... 15 mins later. No one was there. I understand it can get busy but it doesn't take much time to grab customer's order, get those food/orders started and go back to helping other customers who's already eating their plate. In fact, there were customers who came after and were helped first... Disappointed because I had high hopes! Was my first and last time here. We sat inside by the patio and I got the best of both worlds for indoor and outdoor seating There are tv screens on both sides of the restaurants. We were looking for a fun local/regional restaurant on a rainy evening! We were promptly greeted and the host was very friendly! We choose to sit at the bar rather than at a table! Since they seem to have a decent selection of beers on tap so we tried a few samples and settled on an IPA and stout pint! The beers were nice and then we ordered some burgers and some fish tacos! The burgers were quite delicious yet my fish tacos were quite bland and absolutely no flavor (in fact, I choose to go somewhere else to try tacos after Eureka). We almost didn't enter the restaurant due to this young drug addict sitting on the floor right in front of the entrance. She was half naked and exhibiting erratic behavior. After determining that she was not a threat, we went in. What attracted us was the $13 lunchtime specials which go from 11 am to 3pm daily. You get to choose from a number of their most popular items like the Eureka American burger, fish tacos, sandwiches, etc, and it is really a good deal. We started with the crispy glazed brussel sprouts. The Brussels sprouts came in a skillet and the sauce it cooked in was really delicious, but the portion is a bit small for the price. The Eureka burger comes with American Swiss, grilled onions, butter lettuce, house pickles, and special sauce. The beef patty was cooked exactly the way we specified so we were happy. Standard fries came with the lunch special but one of us upgraded to cheese fries for extra $3. The servers really tried to sell you on the upgrades but they weren't too pushy. My daughter enjoyed her fish tacos which already came with cheese fries so we didn't have to pay for upgrade. All in all, the lunch specials were really worth it, just don't go crazy on the upgrades. We got the fried mac n cheese balls on the hoppy hour list. I give them 9/10. The crunch was amazing! The dip was great too. It looked like ranch but it tasted homemade. Sad you only get 5 but they are the bigger size. Definitely will get these again. I got the eureka burger on the hoppy hour list with fries. It was 13 and some change. This visit we had the pork belly bites and the nachos. The pork belly was tender and slightly sweet with red chili peppers. The pork belly bites would have been great with garlic fried rice ! The nachos was delicious with the right amount of vinegar (sour) and sweet dressing. We also had the bourbon cake with vanilla. Everything was so good. Another good night of good. The waitress was new, but very accommodating. I've never eaten there this late, it was kind of dark for me, with my kids. It could have been a different vibe if it was date night though. The food was overall pretty good. All honesty my daughter's chicken sandwich came out waaaaaaay after me and my wife got our food, like we waited a bit before eating and we were still almost done. The pork belly bites we've had before and they were the BOMB, but these were cold inside. That being said both of those were comped. Boosting Eureka! to 5 stars. This is my favorite Concord spot for a late lunch on Tuesdays when wine is half price! I love Eureka! burgers but usually order a lighter lunch like the fish tacos. Delish but messy. A salad with an add-on of salmon is a good option, too. I appreciate that calories are shown on the menu. Helps me plan for dessert! Desserts seem to be meant for sharing. So when I dine alone I go "off menu" and get a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce. On my last visit, I was happily surprised to see that I was not charged for the ice cream. It was noted on my check as "birthday scoop." The manager and servers are always pleasant and accommodating. I usually sit in one of the roomy booths by the bar. Been coming for a while and the past few visits, it appears their customer service can take a page from Chick fil a. Has service at bar, the bartender took about 10 min to ask what we wanted (mind that it was slow for a Saturday night). I look around at empty tables around 9-9:30. We get our drinks and orders some appetizers. The apps arrive but they don't leave napkins nor utensils and seems our bartender disappeared- felt like a self service restaurant, so guess what? I go into the drawers to find my own napkin and utensils. Why do I keep coming back when their service is lackluster? Also their staff keep changing constantly. Would I like to rate it higher, yes. But until their service gets it act together, can't see myself spending money for sub-par experience. They used to be great when they reopened from COVID but now it's there are many great options nearby. Will state, place was clean. But as mentioned, service could be better. Previous visit, our order took more than an hour (just two burgers and fries), place was also only 50% full. read more

Surrounded by other shops and restaurants, this place has plenty of parking available with currently (6/29) an area fenced off. Depending where you park, you can find it. There is plenty of outdoor dining but it was too hot that day. We entered the front door which was wide open and we were greeted immediately. She asked what our preference was to sit, and we opted to sit inside. My friend and I sat in a booth. There were several tables, booths and bar seats inside. I ordered the lavender iced tea and she ordered the ginger lime soda. We were both concerned the flavors would be overpowering or too bitter, but it was none of those. The lavender iced tea was refreshing but not enough. I stuck with water the rest of my meal. We shared the truffle fries and mac & cheese balls for apps, and we asked for the dipping sauces on the side. They were perfectly good on their own but my friend enjoyed the sauces. We also shared the bison burger and she wanted more Mac & cheese balls, and i didn't mind. It came with charred red bell pepper, bacon- infused jalapeño jam, smoked mozzarella and whiskey caramelized onions. We got it medium well and it was moist, soft and not gamy at all. It was actually too sweet for us and we didn't taste much of the jalapeno or any hint of whiskey, but it wasn't bad. Definitely would try other burgers. The noise level was fine, many other patrons were having conversations and there were many TV's on that day. The bathrooms were clean which is a plus to the dining experience. This was my first time dining at Eureka, and I came here to celebrate graduating with my doctorate. I am so happy I chose to celebrate such a special milestone here. When we arrived, we did not have a reservation, but the hostess was incredibly kind and let us know there was currently no availability. She took my number and assured us she would call once our table was ready. To our surprise, we only waited about six minutes. Once we were seated, the manager came over, introduced herself, shook my hand, and congratulated me on earning my doctorate. She let us know she wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience since it was such an important celebration. That personal touch meant so much to me. The food was amazing--fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. Our waitress, Maxine, was sweet, professional, and attentive throughout the entire evening. The level of hospitality from everyone was truly exceptional. What made the night even more memorable was how supportive and kind everyone was. From the staff to the customers in the restaurant, so many people congratulated me and helped put a huge smile on my face. Words cannot express how happy I am that I chose Eureka to celebrate earning my doctoral degree. Like my graduation cap says, thank you, Eureka, for adding to one of my "core memory" days. We went here yesterday for my sister's graduation. This was the first time any of us tried it. Absolutely everything we had was good! The salmon,steak,Mac and cheese balls,truffle fries,dry rub wings,nachos,fish tacos,burgers and corn and even the neon jungle and purple haze drinks,just to give an idea of what we had. You would think that a place with this many bad reviews about service would've learned by now and improved, but apparently not. I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times the waitresses barely checked on us to see if we needed anything. Both visits I ended up leaving without even getting a refill, which might sound minor, but when you're paying $70+ for burgers, you'd expect at least the basic level of service that even Chili's manages to provide while being way busier. Eureka is basically fine dining at semi-casual prices and a bar! Love this chain. I've been to 3 locations and they have all been stellar. The customer service is top notch, attentive, and personable. Food is delicious as well. I have yet to have anything bad. Lavendar iced tea is my favorite. This is now my go to restaurant. Eureka does not get enough justice! For some reason, it is not always my first choice to visit for happy hour, but when I do, I am never disappointed! Eureka is located in the Willows Shopping Center. Its location is great, and there are many parking spaces. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Every time I walk in, I get a table. Now for the food, as I mentioned I've mostly come here with friends for happy hour. The happy hour is great! It has a good mix of good drinks, cocktails, and food. For a drink, I always order the Wild Child 5/5! I recommend this cocktail 100%. It is delicious, refreshing, not too strong and just the right drink! I don't get any other besides this one. The happy hour menu has several good food items. The Chicken Nachos 5/5 are a must order. Every bite is perfect and good to share. The Truffle Fries 5/5 are also a must order. They are thin, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The Mac and Cheese balls 4/5 are good, they are small but the flavor is good. I've also been here for a birthday party, and I ordered a burger, which was good. Several other people at our table tried different burgers, and everyone loved them. Yes, much better than In/Out Burgers, but I will skill go there. We had dessert, their Bourbon Barrel Cake which is a Home Run, you will be very pleased; their Carrot Cake was good as well. Visited this restaurant Sunday for a date night with my girlfriend. I like how the hours are open late, beats the odds of looking for a restaurant after a movie date at the Veranda theaters. Food and drinks were great. We enjoyed our shareable appetizer, Mac N' Cheese Balls and Dry Rub Wings. For our mains, I tried the Al Pastor Fish Tacos and my girl had the served all day Breakfast Burrito w/ choice of tater tots. Food was delicious! Didn't get to snap a pic of our cocktails but we ordered the Wild Child and Tequila Paloma. Honestly, I had a great dinner night. Service was excellent.
