We have been here before and other locations but I had never tried the half yard beer. If you can drink, I would say that the half yard beer is totally worth it. The drink I chose was an IPA from Walnut Creek Cali cool kid I believe, I might have the name a bit off but it was delicious. If I didn't eat I would have been too buzzed. I shared a few sips with my brother and his wife and we all started feeling it before the food arrived. Their food was good and leftovers were yummy still the next day. I liked that there was a steak meal option for kids because I would always have to order an adult meal for my kid. They were very busy for a Sunday afternoon but the wait for a table wasn't long. I highly suggest them for any occasion or even a just to go They have the games on here and tons of outdoor seating, I bet get full during the summer evenings
Food: I ordered the large Cobb salad, but the portion was smaller than expected. The radishes were sliced a bit too thick for my taste, and I wasn't a fan of the edamame since they're not a typical ingredient in a Cobb salad. On the positive side, the bacon was perfectly crispy, the roasted corn added great flavor, and they offer a solid selection of beers. Service: The service was excellent. The staff let us choose our own seats, and the restaurant is thoughtfully laid out so you can see the TVs from nearly every table. Ambience: Fun, relaxed, and comfortable. It's a great spot to unwind, catch a game, and enjoy a casual meal.
This review is for take out. I wanted to try their poke nachos so decided to order that for an early dinner. It was pretty packed when I walked in on a Saturday around 4pm given that World Cup was playing. I checked in with the hostess and was told to wait for someone to take my order. I wasn't sure why it had to be a specific person to place my order when there were 5 employees at the front. After I placed my order, I was told that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. The poke was fresh and the unagi and mayo sauces that came on the side complimented the entire dish well. The wontons were also very crispy! Definitely on the pricier side given that the portion wasn't that big after paying more than $20. Would I order it again? Probably not but glad I still tried it nonetheless.
Came here weekday for lunch with a friend and a bunch of kids, the restaurant was surprisingly busy but they were still pretty fast. Service was fine despite them being so busy, we got our drinks and order in a timely manner and when we asked for boxes and the check they were quick to respond. Food is your classic American fare. I've been to other Yard House locations too and I think the food quality is consistent. The ahi crunchy salad and chicken nachos were both good. Kids enjoyed their fries. One of the kids complained about the steak being way too salty. My kid really liked her grilled cheese sandwich. I like beers on tap so I got their House Beer Flight to pair with my meal. I really liked the honey blonde ale, hint of honey on a light ale. I also liked the Belgian white, that was my second favorite out of the house beer flight. The lighting is a bit dark, made it hard to read the menu. There was World Cup soccer games playing on every screen. Lots of people hanging out there to watch the game. Looks fun if you're into watching game in restaurants.
This review is being left solely to commend Anthony on a great, white-glove service and to talk about how great this Korean BBQ Cheesesteak was. Came on a very busy day before Mother's Day and the wait time was accurately 1 hour from the time I was quoted. Next time around I will call ahead or put my name on the list beforehand *pro tip for anyone booking a table on a busier weekend I was not expecting to enjoy this cheesesteak as much as I did but man, I will be coming back just for this sandwich.
SLOW SERVICE, FOCUS FOOD On Memorial Day after my nieces' play in Pittsburg we came to Yard House for dinner. I had been craving for a burger. On the menu one burger intrigued me - Kurobuta pork. I never had a pork burger before. The ingredients that sounded enticing were the spicy candied bacon and blueberry ketchup. I've had bacon on a regular burger before but not on pork burger. I also never had blueberry ketchup before. When eating dinner at a restaurant on a holiday you can expect a considerable time as the restaurant can be really busy. There were a lot of customers when my family entered Yard House. As we were waiting for our food there were empty tables. Since there were less customers we expected our food to arrive quicker. We estimated the wait for our food was about 45 minutes after our order. If you are waiting for a considerable time, the food better be exceptional. I enjoyed the Kurobuta pork burger. Having the bacon with the Kurobuta added more pork flavor. The blueberry ketchup provided a sweetness to balance the richness of the Kurobuta pork and bacon. I didn't like the house fries that came were the pork burger as they were soggy. I have two pet peeves when it comes to fried items: 1) overcooked chicken wings 2) soggy fries. The rest of my family had issues with their dishes. My mom stated there were not enough sirloin on her steak bowl she ordered. My dad said there were not enough grilled chicken from the fettucine alfredo. As mentioned before when your food arrives longer than you anticipate the attention will be if the item you order is great. What saved this rating from a 2-star experience was the Kurobuta pork burger.

My friend took me here to celebrate my birthday. We were immediately seated. However, no one came over to even bring us water more all is if we were ready to order for almost 10 mins. There were many waiters available from what we saw. When our waitress did come, she was great. She provided great drink and food selections She also was very warm and patient when I couldn't figure out exactly what I wanted to eat..lol. Strangely though she did not bring our drinks nor food out. 2-3 other people did. I don't know if that is how it normally is, but it was a bit weird not to have the same waitress come back each time. Our food was good. My friend ordered the Truffle burger and parmesan fries and I ordered the Maui pineapple chicken meal. My only complaint is the broccoli was cold. It took it waitress a little minute to come by, so I had to sit with the cold broccoli. She quickly apologized for it being cold and got a a new hot amount for me (That took a little minute to come from the kitchen as well). We both had margaritas..I had the patron one and she had the watermelon one. We were pleased. My friend ordered the lava cake for my bday.. we shared it and she ate the ice cream that came with it. It was delicious. They gave me a Brokie (I think that is how it is spelled lol). I didn't eat it yet though. Overall, we had a okay experience. We will both go and eat here again.. to see if some of the issues I listed..improved.
Amazing happy hour deal with big portions! We ordered the chicken tenders and the chicken nachos. The nachos were huge and loaded with toppings including beans, cheese, sour cream, guac, tomatoes, and jalapeños. The chicken tenders came with about 5-6 of average size pieces, plus fries. The service was quick and the waitress refilled my water constantly without prompting, which I appreciated. The ambience has an elevated sports-bar vibe with lots of seating, plenty of choices, and a lively atmosphere.
We arrived about 8pm on Easter Sunday and though we were a party of 8, we were quickly seated. Our waiter Josh arrived to greet us almost immediately, introduced himself and took our drink and appetizer order. When it was time to order our entrees we received awesome recommendations. Our food arrived well plated, just as ordered and without discrepancies. The establishment was well maintained, dimly lit with plenty of seating. Although music was being played we were still able to comfortably engage in conversation with one another in a discreet manner. Josh was attentive, efficient and engaging. Everyone enjoyed their food as well as the overall dining experience. Upon our departure, the two hostesses were gracious enough to capture a group photo for us without hesitation. We found the staff to be welcoming, courteous and polite.
Came here to eat an early dinner after watching Devil Wears Prada 2. My daughter and I were greeted right away and we did not have to wait long to be seated, to have our order taken or for our food. Really friendly and fast service, but never felt rushed to eat and leave as dinner rich was coming in. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and they played great music.

The first time I came here was with my family (about 15 people on a Saturday evening) we didn't have a reservation but were seated right away. The first time I came I ordered the lobster garlic noodles and they were really tasty, lots of lobster and even had leftovers for lunch. My kids both liked their food- one ordered the pizza kids meal and the other the sliders. There was a few mishaps on the first visit, some of the people in our group waited a while to get their food and we ask for condiments twice before we got them, but hey it was busy and we were a large group. On my second visit I order the fish and chips and they were good, fish was crispy and again, the serving was huge! My kids ordered the same thing on our second visit and they had no complaints. Both times we were seated fast. It is a sports bar and it does get busy and loud so if that's something you don't like, maybe skip it or request to sit outside! I would come here again!
Came here on a day they were playing the 9er game so it was packed! We were still able to get a table right away with no reservations, which was great. There are tvs everywhere, so you can see the game from pretty much anywhere you sit. They have a pretty big menu so we took a while to choose what we wanted to order. Our server was super patient and answered all of our questions. I ordered the spicy garlic edamame for the table. That was really good. Super flavorful! I could've ordered it again before we left! For my drink, I got the watermelon margarita. Instead of the salted rim, she suggested the sugar rim and that was a good suggestion. I ended up getting 2 more during dinner. For my entree, I chose the lobster garlic noodles and got extra sauce on the side. Also a really good pick. Lots of flavor and meat. It was a really big serving too so I had leftovers. Hadn't been here in a long time so it was a good experience, especially since it was so busy. Good drinks, good service and good food.
This is my second visit to a Yardhouse, and the first to this location, although everyone else in the family has been here before me. Oh well... The location is very easy to get to, but parking is a challenge, and it was busy when we arrived; by the time we left, the line was gone! Still, we waited about 10 minutes for a party of 5, and we were seated at a nice large table. Our server, Cecelia A., quickly greeted us and took drink orders while we perused the extensive menu. There were some new items I came across, so I had my work cut out to limit my newfound desires. Ultimately, we ordered a few appetizers and some entrees, although some served cross purposes! We started with some boneless Ancho BBQ wings, truffle fries, onion ring tower, cheese curds, and then moved on to chicken nachos, a couple of kids' pepperoni pizzas, a shiitake garlic noodles, a Gardein adult mac 'n' cheese, and a BBQ bacon burger. The apps are quite large here, more so than I expected, and the cheese curds were a favorite along with the wings. The onion rings disappeared as well, but the consensus was they weren't up to Red Robin quality; they were good, just different with the parmesan. The truffle fries were garlicky, which I loved, and shiitake garlic noodles, although listed as an app, were my entree, and they were amazing! Very tasty, with lots of mushrooms and a garlic presence that was not overpowering. Would definitely get it again! The Gardein mac 'n' cheese was large as well, with lots of Gardein chicken in almost every bite. But the nachos - they were enormous! So big that the guy who ordered them didn't even try his BBQ bacon burger; that went home for a later meal! And the kids' pepperoni pizzas were also large, and with fries, were easily an adult meal as well. And we took home almost a whole pizza! Too many good apps filled most of us up before the entrees arrived. The service was great, the food great, the ambiance great, and I look forward to trying more Gardein options. If you are looking for tasty and hearty vegetarian options, look online first, for the website shows the Gardein options in their own section. On the printed menu, these same items are listed below the "regular offerings" as an option, and so it is difficult to find them and know what Gardein options are available for different items. Came on a Tuesday around 4pm. It was moderately busy. I've been here one other time but the service was very slow today. Everything we ordered came out at different times. The ahí salad didn't come out until the very end when we had finished the other 3 dishes. It also took a while to flag down a server for napkins and utensils. The food itself was pretty good! Came to eat and watch the FIFA game! Great atmosphere a little loud but it's great because no one can hear me talk my sport s$&t! Haha James is our server and he's great. Our food arrived super fast considering how busy it is. Fries are crispy. Club sandwich is clubbin. Thank youuuu!!! read more
A good place for Happy Hour! While my girlfriends do not drink alcohol, they do love a good menu of food items, esp appetizers, on a discount. I think we ordered all of them hahaha Poke Nachos Blackened Ahi Sashimi Fried Calamari Four Cheese Spinach Dip Spicy Za'atar Hummus Fried Chicken Tenders Chicken Lettuce Wraps Crispy Traditional Wings (ok, I just checked. we didnt order them all hahaha) Service was good. The tablet for ordering food is really convenient for this busy establishment. And our waitress did check on us from time to time if we need anything else. read more
Coming back from a long drive stopped here for an early dinner and was good to go. We split a 20oz rib eye, mash potato and broccolini. We also had a Caesar salad and edamame to start off with. The salads were good and warm edamame's was a good start. The steak was a perfect medium rare and season well. The sauce on the side was good. Mash potato''s were creamy and broccolini was fresh and crisp and tender. Place is big with tv's everywhere. It was clean and service was fast My overall experience was good but the menu can be overwhelming., I would come for another visit. read more
Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:45pm. It was still quite busy with the lunch rush with large parties throughout the restaurant. Service and Staff: - When we were seated, our waitress had just taken an order for a large party, so she was a little behind. We appreciated one of the managers coming out to let us know and get us started on our drink order so we wouldn't have to wait a long time - Our waitress was kind and made sure to check on us throughout our visit Food and Drinks: - Margarita: refreshing and citrusy - Bloody Mary: they make the Bloody Mary mix in-house. Comes with olives, lime, and candied bacon - Two Pepper Jack burger: the poblano jalapeño peppers are mixed into the burger (I asked for mine without jalapeños). I thought the flavoring in the burger was good - could have use a bit more sauce / aioli. Fries were a little soggy - Cobb Salad: added salmon to the salad and chose ranch dressing. Healthy and tasty - Guac and chips: good amount of guac for the appetizer. This place is a must if you like happy hours, sports, big spaces and loud music. Quality of food and s Service and reasonable prices are a perfect combo. Even the happy hour portions are huge, and we always tend to overestimate ourselves, ending up taking food to go. Our last visit was on Friday at around 3:30 p.m., which was a perfect time--there was plenty of parking nearby and not too many people. We sat at the bar and ordered two Smoky Old Fashioneds--pretty good. Our bartender, Eryn, was super nice and professional. We got sliders (pretty good), fried calamari (also great), and tuna nachos. All items were from the happy hour menu and were delicious. read more
Came for happy hour on a Friday. My boyfriend was disappointed by the poke nachos. Wings and sliders were okay. Highlights for me were the crispy brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries. I would say it's worth trying once but nothing special. read more
I have been to a bunch of Yard House locations over the years, in both California and Texas. On my latest business trip to the Bay Area I had the opportunity to visit the Concord location for the first time. Simply the best experience I have ever had at a Yard House. The Filet was impeccably prepared. My server Emily is on point! Congenial, efficient, knowledgeable about the business, and overall just an asset to this location. Khalil (GM?) runs a clean operation which includes many well tenured employees. I will be back. read more
We came here from my daughter's birthday, because it was actually something she decided on. We got various appetizers, including the firecracker shrimp, the brussels sprouts, and the calamari. Each appetizer was absolutely delicious, though I do have to say I am partial to brussels sprouts because there's something about the flavor of that when they make it it's just so delicious. I ordered the lobster garlic noodles, solely based on a photo on yelp that I saw of it. It looked delicious, and I have to say it tasted just as delicious as the photo was. It is very heavy I will admit, like it tasted like there was a lot of butter or oil in it, so if you have a sensitive digestive system like I do, just be aware of that. Totally worth it in the end though, delicious flavor and they did not skimp on the lobster! It honestly looked like they put the claw meat and whatever else they get out of a lobster in it, and maybe they use the tail for another dish. I don't believe I saw tail meat, it really did look like smaller parts of meat, but I don't know for sure either and the flavor was not negatively impacted by this at all. I am currently pregnant, so I also did order a mocktail, I believe it was a pineapple spritzer or something like that, it was really good and refreshing, and a bonus was I got to share it with my daughter because it had no alcohol in it and she absolutely approved of it too We came at a somewhat busy time I think, the tables were all taken, but the service was not lacking. Our waiter and I noticed various other waiters as well, were very diligent in checking on their tables and providing excellent service. Because there were almost no empty tables at the time we went, it was rather loud, but definitely not to the point of not being able to enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend for food food, service and beer!! We came in to watch games and sat by the bar. Staff was super friendly and would recommend beer and different types of food. I thought it would be mostly bar food but the menu offers variety of food! I tried spicy ahi stack and it's probably the most amazing ahi tartar I've tried with just $17! It even came with edamame's that gives really good texture. Other things I tried were chicken wings, pretzels and chicken lettuce wraps. Everything was delicious and beyond expectations. Decided on Yard House last minute, being relatively new to the area we didn't know the options we had around us. Yard House had the most options on their menus, food and drink. We joined the waitlist online before we left the house and by the time we got there, our table was ready. We initially had a 4 top table with 6 chairs, until I saw a booth open up. Asked the waitress if we could switch so we have more space for the kids and they swapped us no problem. The food was very flavorful, with Yard House being a chain restaurant we didn't know what to expect. Their drink selection was also great, when you walk in you can see all the beers they have on tap. The desserts were pretty good too, they give you a free cookie brownie slice with ice cream for your birthday. Another highlight of our visit was our waitress Drew! She was amazing and really enjoyed having her as our waitress. Highly recommend this location! read more

Came with friends for dinner. It was quite busy for Monday night. We ordered a few appetizers to share. Fried calamari and chicken wings were good. I ordered Cajun seafood with pasta. Very flavorful and lots of seafood. One of my friend ordered beef chow mein. Chow Mein tasted gross and it was so sweet. Noodles and the sliced beef were dried also. I ended the night with cheesecake with creme brûlée topped off. It was delicious. Do not recommend to order chow mein. I would come back qnd get seafood Cajun with noodles and appetizers read more

You like beer? You want beer? You want a lot of beer? Then Yard House is this kind of place!!!! They have beer. Lots and lots of beer. Even non-alcoholic beer, why!!! Also a decent wine list for us red drinkers. I'm sure they have a few Chardonnays for the local cougars also, just haven't looked. The stand out, in my humble opinion, is the freaking pretzel served on a hook like it's hanging from the gallows of old. This is a damn great pretzel. (Speisekammer take note how it's done). It's got a little crunch and soft in the middle with just the right amount of chuncky salt and mustard to along with it. This is a pretzel to be reckoned with. Let's move on to the liquor selection. Everything you'll want. I'm easy to please since I'm mostly a tequila guy. None of that 818 or Casamigos crap. Just the good stuff. Lots of other food options we have tried but can't recall a one. Open til 12:30 on Friday and Saturday and 11:00 the rest of the week. Great place to pop into before and after a movie. Takes care of us night owls on Friday and Saturday so we don't have to go to dive bars. Not that there is anything wrong with dive bars. Very happy I came! I admittedly came here with very low expectations. It was the only kitchen open close to my hotel and I thought it was going to be a slightly upscale version of TGIFs. I was wrong. Food was very good. Salad was very good. Philly cheesesteak sandwich was very good. Service was professional and quick. Unfortunately it's a big chain so drinks are measured precisely. Another Happy Hour at Yard House, went in and had to wait a little bit and got put on the wait list. It went quicker than expected. After we got sat down, our server Julian ( who was friendly and outstanding) took our order. Food came out good as usual with no complaints. The place was very busy and loud, but didn't bother me. We were headed to another establishment that unfortunately closed permanently so we pivoted. We were seated after a few mins. They have an expansive bar! It was early afternoon just after the lunch rush. Nice welcoming vibe and atmosphere. Lavender Drop 5outta5 Absolutely delicious, refreshing, a very smooth libation. If I hadn't been driving I would've had three. Spicy Tuna Stack 4.5outta5 We really enjoyed it. The avocado, edamame, cucumber, cilantro, nori & wasabi soy sauce all worked well together. It's a nice serving, enough for 2-4. Fried Calamari 4outta5 Crispy and the spicy tomato sauce was perfect. Blackened Shrimp Tacos 4.9outta5 They were delicious. I opted for the "vampire-style" cheese crusted tortillas. The crushed avocado, cabbage, sriracha aïoli, salsa roja, cilantro & perfectly seasoned & cooked shrimp, exploded w/flavor! Thanks again Mike and Eryn for your service! Atmosphere was chill especially for a Tuesday afternoon. Happy hour is a great option for people trying to save some money ($2 off draft beers). Lots of options on tap plus craft cocktails. Large menu with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I was pleasantly suprised with the gardein wings, they were excellently cooked in my option and would absolutely have them again. My friend enjoyed their regular wings too. Highly recommend for dinner or just a casual drink at the bar. Keep in mind prices are kind of high for what your getting. read more

Parking is hectic! Not going to lie! Get there 30 minutes before you wanna eat. You may have to walk a distance .

Unfortunately, not at this time because they're still following all the guidelines and such set by the California Mandates to observe Coronavirus.

Hi Samantha! As of today, 12/23, our Concord location is only open for takeout.
Can we just walk in and go to the bar if we are a big group (10-12)?
Hi Paulinna. At this time, we are not able to accommodate large groups at our bar due to social distancing guidelines that are in place.
Are they open on Thanksgiving?
Hi Elizabeth! We will not be open on Thanksgiving, but we will be open for regular operating hours on 11/25 and 11/27.
Are dogs allowed in outside patio?
I haven't seen any pets, only service animals
