Take out from Sushi time! The freshest fish!! White roll and warrior! We also had the chicken yaki udon- very different flavors than other yaki udon we have had. Peppers, broccoli, zucchini and the flakes like on taki balls. I wish there was more chicken.

This place definitely gets packed, mostly because there isn't a ton of seating. There are only a couple of outdoor tables, and during the summer heat, I honestly wouldn't recommend sitting outside. That said--this spot was a pleasant surprise and honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem. I didn't expect the sushi to be this fresh, but it really was. The quality was excellent, portions were generous, and the presentation pretty much speaks for itself (the photos don't lie). Service was decent--nothing particularly memorable, but it was efficient and got the job done. The real star here is the food. We had to wait a bit because it gets busy, but once we were seated, everything was worth it. I especially loved that they offer omakase, and the hand rolls were stacked--full, fresh, and seriously delicious. Overall, if you're okay with a bit of a wait and limited seating, the sushi here is absolutely worth it. Come hungry and be ready to take photos.

My daughter and I stopped for lunch and we had exceptional food and service. The tako maki was fresh and hot and yummy and came out in minutes. The two rolls we had were delicious. The waitress was friendly and checked on us regularly. I highly recommend.

We found this place online and decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is a bit small, good for small groups of up to four. And you can use the tablet to put in an order. We ordered the Omakase, the dill roll, and the baked unagi roll. The fish was fresh and delicious, but their rolls were a bit too heavy in flavor for me. I had to keep eating ginger to cleanse my palate.

We came across Sushi Time on reddit of all places, and wanted to give it a try. The shop itself is quite small, probably only 6-7 tables, but when we went on Saturday afternoon, we were able to get seated immediately. We ordered the omakase, the dill roll, and the baked unagi roll. The fish were all quite fresh. A decent spread on the omakase, from scallop, seared tuna, shrimp, regular tuna, and I believe a tuna roll. The baked unagi roll was heavy but not in a bad way, just a lot of sauce and quite large. The dill salmon roll was pretty good as well, salmon was fresh but I wouldn't say it necessarily wowed me. Overall, not a bad sushi place

AMAZING. I don't know what made us special, but the staff certainly made us feel that way. That salmon collar, we didn't order it, they told us it was on the house...ON. THE. HOUSE . We ordered sashimi, however no pic because we inhaled the pieces and we were given 2 extra pieces for whatever reason. And the cut looked more like mega blocks than slices, so fresh! We did not leave any leftovers but we were satisfied. Would definitely go again.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Sushi time has easily become a favorite date night/day spot for me and my husband. With great quality food, the friendliest service and outstanding menu we are always coming back for more. Yugi and Julie always take great care of us as we have quickly become regulars!

Amazing as always! This place delivers consistently excellent sushi--super fresh, and just look at the picture to see how thick their sashimi cuts are. It's not only fresh, it's truly a great value. I ordered four pieces of sashimi, the katsu curry with an add-on of California roll for an additional of $5, and it all even came with a salad. The pork in the katsu curry was juicy with two thick, satisfying slices. Not to mention they gave me free tea. So generous. Service was outstanding--the true definition of great customer care. The ambiance is cozy, welcoming, and very clean. Highly recommend! I love this place and the owners!!!

Customer service is always so great!! Great place for kids as they are really accommodating! They offer small plates, cups and utensils, even small miso! You order off a computer and wait time for food is less than 15 minutes! New favorite spot on a cozy day! Limited seating but it's never an issue for us!

Disappointed and not what we expected based on the other good reviews posted here on yelp! Location: small corner restaurant with some table seating inside and I think the table outside is theirs also but not sure since there is another restaurant next to them. Not good for large parties (5+) Service: Placed order for pick up, gave my ph# and had to spell my name twice. It was nice to get a text saying my order was ready but when I picked up and said my name, the employee looked confused and couldn't find my order. The issue - who ever took my order entered my name completely wrong and not even close and should have verified by the ph# and items ordered. Food: The sushi rice used tasted old for the rolls and the plate, the lemon used for the 49er did NOT taste like a lemon but more orange like even the color was different. I don't know how fresh the salmon was used for the nigiri and roll but it had an off putting texture and taste (not even like a farm raised salmon flavor). The Julie's Favorite roll says it has tempura flakes on the outside but if you look at my photo, it was drowned in it probably to cover up the salmon used. The menu is misleading because it doesn't describe if sauces are placed on the rolls, so we didn't expect sauce on the shrimp tempura roll.

Convenient, fast, clean and delicious should be the name of this place. This is such an easy spot to get to and enjoy some delicious sushi when the craving hits make sure to stop by this place. When you sit down the menu is at the table and digital, making it easy to order and add to your order. 10/10

This has been on our to-go list for quite some time. Excellent reviews and not many recommended sushi places in this area of East Bay. We went on a Friday night and there was a bit of a line. Took about 25 minutes to get seated. Their service is actually quite fast, but they have very limited indoor seating: 3 four tops and 3 two tops. They have a couple tables outside as well, but it was a bit chilly that day. For ordering, everything is through a fancy tablet at the table. We picked a few things and our food arrived within minutes. We ordered two rolls, a baked roll, and an Omakase. I was blown away by the quality of the fish. Everything was great, but I would most recommend the Omakase, which for $49.99 is fantastic. On top of all the sushi, the meal came with complimentary Salmon Kama. Everyone in our family loved this and the portion was enormous. The Kama was fried golden, crispy, and well-seasoned. Better than the vast majority I've eaten in the past that I had to pay for. Top notch - easily my favorite sushi experience in the Bay Area east of Oakland.

Sushi was super fresh tasting! The salmon melted in my mouth and was not fishy at all! The tempura was a huge plate, enough for at least 2 people! The seaweed was a tiny bit stale maybe but still tasty! The staff was friendly and attentive although it is a small place, it started it fill up and lots of orders being picked up! I will return to try rolls but I was really sold on the plate!

I wanted to come here while I was pregnant because they have a HUGE selection of non-alcoholic drinks & cocktails. But we ended up checking it out after & appreciate their low alcohol options as well. For drinks, we started with a ESPRESSO MARTINI-LO (cold brew, vermouth di torino, px sherry, salt, maple, dark chocolate shavings) & a DIRTY BIRD (manzanilla sherry, veso olive vermouth, black lemon, parsley oil). Both were unique & very delicious! We ordered the small mezze plate that comes with 2 different dips of your choice. We opted for the whipped feta (with honey & fermented chili oil) & the charred eggplant (with roasted garlic, greek yogurt, sesame, & herbs). I loved the items veggies just as much as the pita bread it came with. For our mains, he ordered the PESTO EGGPLANT & HOT HONEY pizza (zhug "pesto", diced eggplant, mozzarella, red onions, honey, chili oil & feta drizzle). Excellent flavor, cooked perfectly, & a fairly good size. I ordered the IMPOSSIBLE KEFTA roasted skewer plate (Impossible beef with Moroccan spices, red onions, mint). The skewer plate came with the skewers, lettuce, tomato-cucumber-rose pickled onion mixture, feta + choice of sauce served with seasoned rice. I picked the Zhug sauce aka mediterranean pesto - mint, parsley, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, lemon, spices & chilis. Overall it was insanely delicious & I fully intend on coming back soon!

The concept is great, mocktails and low-alcoholic cocktails and lots of N/A wines and beers with a full vegetarian fusion menu. It just doesn't quite deliver. I had the bean patty burger and it wasn't flavorful. I ended up stealing my husband's ghost pepper harissa sauce and slathering it on. The butternut squash soup was not bad. He had the impossible kefte which he said was pretty good. The mocktails were okay. I had the pica pica and it could've used more spice and flavor. Tasted like a very refreshing cucumber and soda water rather than a mocktail. My husband was disappointed with his mock old fashioned. Beautifully presented but really not much there without the bourbon/whiskey. He wants to try the low alcohol version next time. This place might consider leaning more into the flavors of the Indian side of their fusion idea. And one tip on the service -- they could hold back a little. They were overly eager and kept interrupting our conversations and pushing more food on us. Might give them a few months and try again to see if they've improved.

It was chewy, super flavorful, veggies were perfectly cooked. It was just perfect. Caramelized chicken. This dish was good. The imitation chicken was chewy and tender with crisp caramelized edges. The veggies were so fresh and so well prepared. This is definitely a new favorite spot for us. Looking forward to going back.

There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.
