This is one of our go to places- both as a family and when we have company. You can make your reservation thru Yelp. They are so welcoming when we come in, always welcoming us back. We do go 3-4 times a month. You order apps and drinks off the menu from your server. They have the belt you can grab freshly made sushi from, as well as some up in the window where you order custom rolls. Everything is so fresh and yummy. The quality is always consistent. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean Plenty of parking

Fuji Sushi Buffet, Concord I had been here so many times, never had a problem. The staff are awesome! You can also do reservations on Yelp 10 or 15 minutes before they open. The staffs always come by to clean out plates when you're done. The waitress and waiter often come by and ask if we want to order things from the kitchen. The sushi chefs are very fast, quick and great with our orders. If you sit at the bar, the chefs happily drop your orders to you! I often try to come early for better seatings. The current price for lunch is $24.99 weekdays. I highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and sashimi! They have hamachi Kama as well! Would come back again if I'm in the area or for special occasions!

Not my first time at Fuji's, which says enough! For the price, it's hard to complain. The fish, service and wait times are pretty consistent. I always have a good time eating here with friends and family. There's a good amount of bar and table seating to accommodate big groups. I always get the sashimi and nigiri plates. The tuna isn't my favorite, but the salmon is generally pretty good! I love that it's unlimited refills for drinks. Overall, a pretty good AYCE spot and will be returning in the near future.

Eh for AYCE you can't really expect much. However, the ordering process isn't efficient either. I thought there would at least be some food on the conveyor belt, not to mention the long line to queue at the sushi bar! The fish quality is average, with a somewhat tougher texture. (Octopus was so tough) Also, it seemed like a lot of it was premade and sitting there. Definitely not at the top of my list to return to if I'm ever craving AYCE lol.

Come hungry! Make sure you make your AYCE worth it, because the food is delicious and will make you want to keep coming back for more. Our absolute favorite and great for reorders: Salmon Skin Handroll Lion King Aburi Salmon on Rice Salmon Handroll The restaurant is clean and has large capacity for a lot of customers. I appreciate how they make everything bright, unlike other Fuji restaurants I've been to.

Went here for my friends birthday! We drove from SF to get this great sushi buffet deal! There is a conveyor belt circulating with various dishes. There is also a shelf with rolls made ready. For specialty items, you will order with the chef! What type of sushi and how many pieces? order drinks and appetizers with the waiters. great quality and bang for your buck! it was a long drive with traffic, but worth the drive. Great place to have a special meal or a sushi craving. i loved the salmon aburi and unagi hand rolls, and my friends like their rolls! we had a reservation for 4 people, seated right away. but seems like you can also walk in if they're not busy.

I am surprised at how long it took me to visit this place. I remember going to a Fuji in Davis, but I am not sure if it is part of this chain. Anyway, we put ourselves on the waitlist since I wasn't sure how long it would take to get a table. It was a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly not too crowded. We opted to sit at the bar once we say the conveyor belt. On the belt is just the salads (seaweed, octopus, jellyfish, etc). Since it was our first time, we didn't know how it worked, but we asked the server. Order appetizers from the waiter and sushi from the chefs. There are also premade ones to choose from at the chef's station. I like that they have a variety of appetizers that are kid-friendly. There are plenty of seats and space, but it can get crowded once the restaurant fills up. The line to order can get backed up, so one improvement they can make is for customers to be able to order through the waiters. Otherwise, everything was delicious and the service was great! We fully enjoyed the menu items The hamachi wasn't our best, but it'll do for buffet. Our favorites were definitely the Chef's Specials. My favorite was the Aburi Salmon Sushi. Anyway, can't wait to come back and fill my belly to the brim.

My mom and I came here for lunch, since we've always wanted to try this location. We've been to the Vacaville location many times and we like it there. With the good reviews here, I trusted it's the same. The way you order is the same. I think the service over at Vacaville seems a little nicer, though. I did like their fish here, as it still tasted pretty fresh! My favorite thing to order was their seared tuna nigiri! However, there were times where my mom would grab a roll from the bar area and the sushi tasted old/has been sitting there for awhile. I'd rather order fresh from the bar than take a roll that's been sitting there for who knows how long. We also ordered the hamachi kama, veggie tempura, cucumber salad, and sesame balls, which were all reordered! I would like to add... we noticed every time we would ask for a plate or cup, it would be very dirty.. it's almost like they didn't wash their dishes thoroughly. The food was still good, but it was just unpleasant seeing dirty dishes brought to us that we wouldn't want to eat or drink from it.

A pretty nice sushi buffet place. Is it in the top three sushi places I have tried? No. But considering it's a buffet it is good. We tried various sushi from the main course. We also tried tempura, teriyaki chicken as appetizers. The grilled salmon appetizer is horrible. The salmon is very slimy!! I had sashimi and even raw salmon, I never had that slimy! Really bad! But other than that, the sushi are nice. To top it off, the sesame balls are nice dessert. They are filled with bean paste. The service is very prompt and very friendly. Nice ambience, we see a lot of Asian people eating, that is always a good sign. Don't want to sound racist, but it is a good sign to see Asian people eating at an Asian place!

    Theresa L.

I was skeptic as hell to go to a sushi buffet, but the work bestie talked me into it. Much to my surprise, the food was good, fresh and made to order, and the all you could eat price kind of was like jamming on the one. Service was good, I just wish our hostess would've told us the ordering process since it was our first time, kinda like they should do that. "Is this your first time here, this is what you do sort of thing." The chefs were nice as hell tho! Ambience was good. Everybody was there engaged in good table conversation, enjoying their food. Ambience at my table was hella good because of the work besties. I'm gonna go ahead and give this place 4 yumms up and I'll be back since I know the ordering process and definitely order much more upon my return!

    Esmeralda R.

Cant believe I've been sleeping on this place! AYCE sushi and great quality. We were able to get a spot at the bar which was so fun to grab stuff from the belt. Our service was also good and we left very full! Will most definitely be making another trip back.

I have visited this location many times and never fails to disappoint as one of my favorite AYCE sushi locations in the Bay! The Aburi salmon sushi, salmon sashimi, and Titanic are my absolute go-to orders to repeat whenever I visit. Weekday lunch is the best time to go, and weekends will get very busy and can node long wait times. Nevertheless, the prices are unbeatable here for lunch AYCE. They just added Aburi salmon sushi to the lunch menu and chicken Karaage wings to their full menu so if you haven't tried this place, it's absolutely worth the visit (and drive if you live a bit far). Hot food is also served relatively fast and the servers are always available to take your order and help clear up the table.

    Thanh T.

We had a reservation for a bigger group for weekend lunch so there was no wait. The way things work can be a bit chaotic. You order apps from your server. There is a conveyor belt with nigiri you can pick from. There is also a shelf with tataki. The seared salmon aburi nigir was probably the best dish there. The tataki was the 2nd best. If you want to order rolls you line up and order from the chefs. Then you have to linger for a bit until they call you. Overall sushi quality was just ok. Decent price. The nigiri had a bit too much rice. The apps were pretty good. Overall would probably just go to an a la carte place for slightly better quality.

We were too hungry and I forgot to snap a photo, but they were HUGE. Our 2 item bento boxes were also XL. There was so much food! It was actually a little overwhelming. 1 piece of sashimi is actually 2 or 3 (they slice it really thick---which I'm actually not a fan of). The tempura was delicious. They were big pieces and I felt like they were prepared and fried well. Not overly greasy and the batter was nice. The fish seemed fresh, but I really don't care for thick slices of sashimi. Overall, everything was good, but the fish threw me off. I feel like you lack finesse when you do thick pieces of fish. The rolls also had so much rice. If you value quantity over quality, definitely recommend. If you value quality over quantity, I'd maybe skip.

Even if we ordered something we didn't personally like, it wasn't the quality nor the presentation that was to blame for our dislike. The feel of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The same woman always greets us, and as mentioned before, she always recognizes us. The chef almost always gives us an extra roll to try on the house. This is and was never expected, but they go out of their way to do so and we are beyond appreciative of it. The picture attached shows the roll given to us during our most recent visit. We would attach more photos, but we were too busy eating our other rolls to bother taking photos. However, even if they didn't give us a free roll to try from time to time, our regard for this lovely restaurant wouldn't change. I highly recommend Sushi Momoyama to any and every local that is craving tasty sushi and a welcoming atmosphere.

Upon entering, you are given this amazing salad with dressing and Miso soup. We ordered the Ichiban Roll, Dynamite roll, Amigo roll, and the new chef's special Mamacita roll. While all were amazing, the Mamacita roll especially caught our eyes because of it's refreshing taste and lemon flavor. It is something new that I hope the staff keeps because it was truly divine. Each time we enter, they always try their best to attend all customers with such a polite manner. We've been coming here for almost 4 years and we never regret our choices. Due to our frequent visits, the staff even remembers us! It truly makes us feel recognized. Regardless, this place is always an amazing recommendation for the best sushi in Concord. If you ever have a chance, please give this place a try. I highly recommend their sushi options but the rest of their food is just as good!

Hidden inside Oak Grove Plaza, Ozora Sushi is a true gem for sushi lovers…read more One of the things that keeps me coming back is that they occasionally offer bluefin tuna and, if you're lucky, toro sashimi. The only catch is that both can sell out quickly, so it pays to arrive early. The Jaw Roll, which features bluefin tuna, is one of my absolute favorites. "Delicious" does not do it justice. Even on days when the bluefin is unavailable, there is no need to worry because the menu is filled with excellent options. I have yet to try a roll here that disappointed me. The garlic edamame is another standout appetizer, though fair warning: you'll be protected from vampires for at least a day afterward. It is packed with garlic and absolutely worth it. For dessert, the fried banana with vanilla ice cream is the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant has plenty of tables, though a short wait is common during busy times. In all my visits, I have never waited more than about ten minutes. Because Ozora is so popular, it can get a little lively and noisy during peak hours, but never to the point where I have had trouble carrying on a conversation with the people dining with me. To me, the buzz is simply a sign that this place has built a loyal following. Overall, Ozora Sushi is one of those reliable neighborhood spots that consistently delivers great food, friendly service, and a dining experience that keeps me coming back.

As soon I walked in I was greeted immediately this review has nothing to do with service but overall the how the food is made in this restaurant. The restaurant is cute and nicely decorated but the food doesn't match the restaurant reviews. I ordered the JD Roll, Volcano Roll, Godzilla Roll, chicken karaage, and calamari. The JD Roll lacked sauce, and the quality of the fish was mediocre. The Volcano Roll was about a 4/10 in my opinion. I requested no eel due to my boyfriend's allergy, but overall the roll was still lacking flavor. As for the appetizers, both the chicken karaage and calamari seemed over-fried, bland, and tasted as though the frying oil needed to be changed. I was especially disappointed because I had been looking forward to the meal, and the restaurant's reviews are generally very positive. Based on this experience, I don't know if I would return.
