This buffet was a disappointment overall. Most of the dishes were either too sweet or lacked flavor. The variety of food was decent, but the selection wasn't particularly extensive, and while the quality was acceptable, there wasn't a single dish that stood out or felt worth coming back for. The desserts appeared to be pre-made and brought in from outside rather than freshly prepared, and unfortunately, they didn't taste very good. Cleanliness was also an issue. Some of the plates, bowls, and especially the cups were not properly cleaned--I noticed coffee stains and even lipstick marks on a few cups. On the positive side, the service was fine. Staff were attentive in clearing used plates promptly. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I left feeling disappointed.

Located inside Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord, this buffet is easy to find and has plenty of parking, which is always a plus. As buffets have become less common these days, I'm glad to see a this one open in the area. The pricing is all-inclusive. You pay first, get seated, and then you're free to enjoy as much food as you'd like. There is a good variety of food options available, including sushi, stir-fried dishes, seafood, and much more. The drink selection includes fountain drinks, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. They even have a chocolate fountain, which was a fun touch. The dessert selection was decent, but I think it could be improved. I would love to see a soft-serve ice cream machine added instead of only offering the pre-packaged ice cream cups. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and well-lit, with plenty of seating for both small and large groups. One thing to note is that all members of your party must be present before being seated. The service was pleasant throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful with our large party. Overall, not bad at all! While there are a few areas that could be improved, there is plenty of variety, a comfortable dining space, and a welcoming staff. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the mood for a buffet.

What a big mistake coming here! Now I'm hooked I loved this place! Lunch was $21.99 Buffett. The food was like eating a more expensive meal at any other restaurant for a great price. They had plenty of seafood to eat, salmon scallop crawfish, shrimp bass, chicken. So much to choose from! Even a variety of sushi! Great service from the cashier to the lady cleaning our plates from the table. Bathrooms were very clean too!

We visited Fusion Buffet in Concord to celebrate my nephew's birthday and had a great experience. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere with a large Space Bear statue, comfortable booths and tables, and cool purple lighting throughout the dining room. The food selection was impressive and offered something for everyone. My favorites were the flavorful spare ribs and the extensive seafood options, including king crab, mussels, oysters, large shrimp, and a wide variety of sushi. They also have a made-to-order stir-fry station where you can choose your own noodles, meats, vegetables, and toppings, and have everything cooked fresh right in front of you. The dessert area was another highlight, featuring a chocolate waterfall where you can create your own chocolate-covered fruit and marshmallow treats. They also offer self-serve beverages with a soda fountain and coffee station, plus ice cream cups in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, including the restrooms. The front hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the bussers did an excellent job consistently clearing plates with a smile. As an added bonus, guests can save 5% by paying with cash. Overall, Fusion Buffet provided a fun dining experience with great food, attentive service, and a lively atmosphere. It was a perfect place to celebrate a family birthday, and we look forward to returning.

I went in with pretty low expectations since it's a buffet and I heard it can get crowded, but this place completely surprised me. It turned out to be one of the best buffet experiences I have had. My family and I visited on a weekday around 12:30 PM. While it wasn't packed, most of the tables were already occupied. Just a heads-up: kids are charged based on height. You pay upfront, and the staff helps you find a table, which keeps things organized. The food selection is impressive, and they are quick to refill dishes, so everything stays fresh and hot--almost like ordering à la carte. There's a great variety, but my personal favorites were the crab in shell, all the chicken dishes, sesame balls, and the desserts. Drinks and ice cream are included, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's a great spot to try a wide range of dishes and discover new favorites. Definitely worth a visit.

The only time I go to a buffet is when I take my parents out for special occasions & this place did not disappoint! Everything was so good, there wasn't one thing I didn't complain about! Would definitely come back here, it does get busy - so be prepared to wait . Everything is self serve even the drinks

I got my crew all together now, on our way to SF, but I wanted to wait awhile and let this stupid traffic die down some, so we decided to have dinner here or I decided. I know what keep everyone on the crew happy and a Chinese buffet lets everyone have what they want. This Fusion Buffet is located at the Sun Valley Mall. I think this location used to be a BBQ joint or something, it's right near the BJ;s Brewhouse. I like that place too! Lots of parking and easy to find. The buffet is pretty standard I think. We get seated and rink orders taken. Service is the usual Asian buffet, just get the drinks out and clear the plates, no reason to be friends. There's a big selection of food including all the normal American Chinese stuff, like orange chicken and egg rolls. There did seem to be a few more authentic Chinese dishes I didn't recognize, but no chicken feet! There's also a sushi selection. The buffet did it's job and got everyone fed. The quality I'd say was decent, cause the trays got refilled quickly. There were a lot of customers in here. Decent buffet I'd say.

I had the pleasure of eating at Fusion Buffet for the first time. I love the variety of foods. Everything from a sushi station, seafood area, meats of all kinds, a Mongolian bbq stir fry section, soups, desserts and much more. The nice thing is that drinks are also included in the $29.99 price. My favorite items were definitely the Mongolian station and the pork and beef ribs. The staff were all very friendly. The dining area is very large. They can accommodate large groups and the huge crowds of people that come to enjoy the food here. I highly recommend for those wanting to try a seafood Asian buffet.

The place feels modern and there is a good amount of seating available. The chairs are super comfortable. Please note you will have to pay in advance. They do offer a free birthday meal with 6 paying adults. The food selection is quite extensive and everything was quite good for a buffet. They even have a Mongolian bbq station as well. The drinks are included. The $21.99 for lunch is an amazing deal. The servers stopped by the tables often to clear the used dishes and were very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place.

Another place we have been meaning to try for a while and glad we did. You pay at the front before you are seated. Servers regularly cleared plates off the table. Ambiance is modern and fun.We came for late lunch Saturday afternoon. It was busy but not overwhelming. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in. The food was great. A good variety of Asian selections including seafood with variety of shrimp and crab options. There was a limited selection of dessert but we didn't mind considering tge variety of other food. The quality of everything from the sushi, dim sum, to the oysters were all amazing. The beef ribs fell off the bones. Even the fries were crispy and well seasoned. We are giving it the 5 stars for quality compared to other buffets. Even had real ice cream. Drinks were also included in buffet price. There was the 3 of us and was weekend price so a little over $100 for all of us with tip and tax. Definitely will be back.

I have never been a huge fan of buffets but my parents are big fans, spent Mother's Day this year at Fusion in Concord. The line almost reached BJ's but we waited for less than 10 minutes to check in. The service at the front is quick and it's easy to sign up. There were a ton of options: Sushi, Mongolian BBQ, Chinese, American, and seafood options, along with desserts and salads. The highlight for me were the Crab Rangoons. They were creamy, fluffy, and crispy. The price is not bad too. The music is good, the waiters and staff were very pleasant and patient. Especially for a busy Mother's Day!

Salt and pepper shrimp and crab. It was a bit on the dryer side.

The food was alright...not much to eat as is shown. The service was great and the ambiance was great but honestly the I wouldn't visit again.

On a cold, rainy NYE night I made it my mission to try Fusion Buffett. i read a suggestion on Yelp and then read several reviews. I was all in. I asked my buddy if he was down with some Asian buffet and he was all in. We arrived and let the hostesses know we were there to eat. Interesting note, you pay at the beginning. Great idea, this way when you are done you can leave without having to wait for the check. FB has a great selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American (mostly dessert) dishes. Once we got sat it was time for Round 1. I like to walk the aisles to get a sense of the offerings. With FB there was alot. I immediately went with some dumplings, skewers and egg rolls. For Round 2, beef ribs (nice), stir-fried veggies and fried rice. For Round 3, more ribs, kung pao chicken, pork buns and fried shrimp. For Round 4, a few more dumplings, bbq pork and a little more fried rice. It was as that point I was almost ready to hang up the gloves. But, they had red Jello. Of course, I had to balance it out with some fresh cut oranges. Oh, yeah. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. These folks do a fantastic job with buffet. I ate like it was my last meal on Earth and it was heaven. This place is definitely on my Return List. I am more than happy to make the drive out to the East Bay. Although next time I will wear stretchy pants. And now for your viewing pleasure.

We'd always only gone for their lunch menu before, but we were really craving sushi and sashimi last night, so we thought Fuji would be the best place to go since we were starving!! We noticed that the dinner menu wasn't that much different from the lunch. Seems like only a handful of items are added, so we still made sure to try some of those dinner-only items. One was the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, and it was absolutely delicious! The whole thing was edible, so there was no need to de-shell the crab, and the tempura batter was nice and crispy. The crab also didn't taste fishy at all. I also liked that they served it with a tempura dipping sauce on the side because it helped refresh the dish and cut back on the greasiness a little bit. Another thing I was really super curious to try was the Smoked Salmon. I did order it, but I think the guy working at the sashimi section misheard me and ended up giving me regular salmon instead - boo! I wanted to go back and order more later, but by that point I was already really full, so I decided not to be greedy. Other than that, everything else was pretty much the same as the lunch offerings. In general, my brother and I really like this place. It's definitely our go-to spot when it comes to all you can eat sushi and sashimi. My brother and I love getting a huge plate of sashimi with a variety of fish like Salmon, Yellowtail, Mackerel, and even Unagi too. I also love how quick the service was, and they impose no limitation on how many times we can order or how many items we can get each round. We just feel really comfortable eating here. We'll definitely come back again in the near future!

The food itself was also disappointing and didn't meet my expectations. Another frustration was getting drink refills. Bit the tastiest items were the onion rings (reminded me of Jack in the Box), the fried chicken wings (who doesn't love fried chicken wings?) and surprisingly the garlic string beans and chow mein. The place is large and the people nice. Lots of people coming in to eat so it's a popular spot. I don't think you'd ever have to wait for a table. Would I eat here again? Maybe cuz the price is reasonable and there are a few items I enjoyed.

This is my third time here and finally had a chance to do a review. I love all the soups here, the sticky rice in the pineapple was delicious as well as the shrimps. Sushis were not bad. I also enjoyed the soft serve ice cream and pastries. Overall, I would come back again.

We ordered garlic bread, fried okra, and several seafood boils. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The fried okra was hands-down the freshest I've ever had -- perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. Even the teenagers who had never tried okra before absolutely loved it! My seafood boil was ordered mild, but the seasoning was still incredibly flavorful. They definitely do not skimp on portions -- the amount of seafood in each boil is impressive and very reasonably priced for what you get. You truly get your money's worth. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He made us feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed -- perfect for a birthday celebration -- and even the ladies' room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Since it was my daughter's birthday, they surprised her with a complimentary macaron ice cream. She decided it wasn't her thing (lucky for me!), and it was delicious! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be returning. Great food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and outstanding service -- you can't ask for more.

Was looking for a good hot pot place, and was in the Concord area…read more So I'll start with what I didn't love, but I did think it was a great gimmick for the area. The music was way too loud, almost like a night club - where you have to practically raise your voice to talk. It's great for guys, where their voice projects, but it's more difficult for anyone that has a bit higher. There are no tongs (but they will give you extra chopsticks). Also, the individual induction units are right on the table, instead of inset. This causes the potential of hot soup base spilling as a more likely experience for clumsy people. For the thing I love about this place? First... value for money. $29.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot? This is amazing in this age where an entree is like $25-30. Appetizers are ordered 2 at a time, and meats are 6 at a time. Meats only come one on a thin tray, which holds about 4-6 slices. So you'll be ordering other helpings, since there are I believe 5 beef selections, and a pork and chicken selection (7) total. The middle of the restaurant is a large bar where you get everything that isn't a meat. The selection of vegetables, and noodles are pretty vast, and almost always refilled. The seafood area has shrimp, clams, tilapia, and mussels. Sauces area also on the sides which makes it pretty much an on-going motion. It's not the high-end of hot pot by any means, but the ambience that they're projecting works for the area that it's in and how they compete with the rest of the restaurants in the area. But for the money? I'd go here. We did sit in a side-middle area where it wasn't a booth. However, they made sure to separate out the seating so that if you were a group of 3, they situated in opposite ends to create space. That attentiveness of spacing actually created a better atmosphere which was a small thing, but a smart thing. Love that they actually celebrate birthdays with banging of pots, and wishing well. It's something that is fun for groups and definitely nice if you happen to be celebrating a birthday! Definitely will come back.

When we arrived, only bar seating was available, but we took it anyway because we were hungry and wanted to eat. They offer an extensive selection of food, and the quality is solid overall. Ming's has become one of those rare places we genuinely look forward to, almost once a week lol :P…read more The food is incredibly high quality, tasty, and just plain yummy. The flavors are mouthwatering every time, and somehow the broccoli is always cooked perfectly. Crisp, tender, vibrant, and never overdone, which honestly says a lot. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. It goes above and beyond in a way that still catches me off guard. Here, they really try to work around your schedule, and that small detail says a lot. One small note, just to be fair... when ordering for pickup, and even once during pickup, my wife felt the person at the door was a little brisk with her. She jokingly compared it to dealing with a car dealership, in regards to their "attitude" with her. I've never personally had that experience, so apparently I'm the designated pickup person now. And they always give my daughter an extra fortune cookie IF/while we're waiting so... that's a plus, for my daughter lol!! Even with that, we keep coming back because the food is just that good. Delicious, thoughtful, and consistently satisfying. We really love this place!! :D
