I took my daughter and a few of her friends to Cajun Crack'n to celebrate her birthday, and it was such a fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered garlic bread, fried okra, and several seafood boils. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The fried okra was hands-down the freshest I've ever had -- perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. Even the teenagers who had never tried okra before absolutely loved it! My seafood boil was ordered mild, but the seasoning was still incredibly flavorful. They definitely do not skimp on portions -- the amount of seafood in each boil is impressive and very reasonably priced for what you get. You truly get your money's worth. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He made us feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed -- perfect for a birthday celebration -- and even the ladies' room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Since it was my daughter's birthday, they surprised her with a complimentary macaron ice cream. She decided it wasn't her thing (lucky for me!), and it was delicious! Lots of customers ordered take out this evening and for some reason that caused a massive backlog on the dine in customer orders. It was a very long wait until we got our food served. Despite the busy evening and likely frustrating dine-in customers, the servers were all very patient and still worked professionally attending to the dine-in customers with a smile. Great job! The seafood was fresh - mussels, clams, snow crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish. Very good quality. This place is by far one of the better seafood boil places in the area. We called in our order for pick up, person taking the order was nice and our food was ready in 20 minutes! Picking up the food was quick, you just walk in past the host stand to the cashier across from the live seafood. The restaurant was super busy, updated interior, and loud edm music to make you eat faster The shrimp, king crab legs, and muscles did not disappoint. Their house sauce was really good yet similar to other places I've been (not a bad thing). The only item that was very underwhelming were the garlic noodles. Located inside the Willow Shopping Center, there's ample parking. Restaurant was about 90% full, and the service was a bit slow. But once we ordered, the food did come quickly. For apps, give the garlic noodles and fried pickle a try. The various baskets are not cheap, but the quality is there and very tasty best paired with beer. We tried their lobster, shrimp and crawfish but I think next time we'll go for the clams instead of the crawfish. The potatoes was so-so, and the corn was one of our favorites. One of my favorite go to seafood boil spots! I ordered a combo #1 with seasonal crawfish, head off shrimp, and clams. Very delicious, the boils aren't super oily like most boil spots. It actually taste like real butter! Their happy hour is always the best too. Half off apps, so i decided to get some oysters that were $2.50 each during happy hour (min 3) But they come in 3,6,12. The service was just okay.. we came here on a weekday around 3pm and it seemed like there weren't enough workers. Our wings didn't come out until after our boils came, and our drinks followed not long behind. Thats the only downside from that visit, the items we were supposed to receive first came last. The front of the restaurant is under construction, but once you walk in is super nice :) the restaurant is very spacious, clean and we didn't have to wait to be seated. I had the $34.95 special, a site of steam rice and garlic bread it was so good as soon as you get there they bring you lemons, and a plastic bib, if you haven't been there they explain you how to order. Once they bring your food they bring a bucket for your garbage. Our waitress was June she was very nice, she checked on us a few times to make sure we didn't anything. I stopped in here solo while on a business trip since the rest of my coworkers hadn't made it into town yet, and quickly realized this is not a solo dining portion size. It felt a little disorganized, people who walked in after me (no reservation) were getting seated before me, and it seemed like there was some confusion around staff breaks or sections. But once I was seated (about a 10-minute wait), everything turned around. I ordered the seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp, and mussels, plus a side of garlic bread. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick without overpowering it. After that night, I put the rest of my family on and I mean... literally. I booked my cousins birthday here for like 40 is of us, which by the way is the perfect spot if you're hosting a large group because they will accommodate! They have the perfect space and the service is always great. And the food, portion, price is worth it! I always get the spicy house sauce with whatever seafood I'm feeling, my daughter at the time was a baby baby and she loved the garlic noodles. For the boils we ordered the signature #1 with the spicy Cajun sauce and a couple of the deveined shrimp boils with the house special sauce and combination fixings (potatoes, 2 boiled eggs, corn, 1/2 lb sausages) and all were amazing!!! The signature #1 included snow crab leg for the cherry on top. The sauces were so flavorful! The spicy Cajun had the right amount of spicy level. The house special is a mixture of all the sauces and had a generous amount of chopped garlic which elevated it. We also had the Cajun fried rice, garlic noodles, Cajun fries, and Buffalo wings. The Cajun fried rice was a 4/5 for the amount of veggies and shrimp/spam it had. It just needed more salt/seasoning in our opinion. The garlic noodles were a 3/5. Just okay. The noodle was very thin. The Cajun fries were a 5/5 for their crispiness and seasoning on point! The Buffalo wings were not your average Buffalo wings. They were a 4/5 for their smoky taste and not being as saucy. Okaaaay the hype is very real! Bringing me back to my days of getting in line at Boiling Crab in Sac or SJ and feeling better because I only need to travel to Concord now. Cajun Crack'n was definitely crackin' on a Thursday evening. There was a line just to get on the Yelp waitlist. Tip- get on it ahead of time on your phone and you'll get seated faster. Space is huge, brightly lit with vibrant signs and lots of seating. Service was great, menu was organized and had a ton of options. We got the mild house combo sauce with the deveined shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn; fried catfish, mac and cheese (for toddler), Cajun and sweet potato fries, garlic noodles, and rice. DAMN- flavor explosion! SO so good we were dipping everything in that sauce. I'd recommend everything we ordered- my go-tos are the shrimp, catfish, and garlic noodz! So this review will be specific to the service that they put into the containers as well as the food themselves. First off the food: We got the 3lbs for 2 special that comes with side items if you're comparing it to Boiling Crab from San Jose. I like the sauce here a lot and the shrimps are bigger and better in my opinion. We did get a pound of crawfish and it was decent for what you pay for. The bag of food was double wrapped and placed into a brown bag. The brown bag itself was wrapped with a plastic bag outside of it to make sure no sauces leaks out of the bag. Salt & pepper containers were thrown in as well along with slices of lemons! They even provided bibs and gloves too which is a first for me since other places overlook these items. Once you come inside, you'll be greeted by their life-size image of Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. We came during lunchtime, so it wasn't crowded. We also had their house special sauce. The whole meal came in a big plastic bag. The sauce was drenched with all the seafood we ordered. The crab is just about the right size and the shrimp is medium-sized. The sauce made it taste a little bit spicy but delicious. The mussels are also big. The combo 2 is generous in size and we had to take it home for leftovers. For 2 people, this meal is just about right and lets you choose the kind of seafood you want. The seafood is fresh. We ordered a fry basket with shrimp and regular fries. My husband said that the shrimp tasted fresh, not previously frozen. I ordered the Signature #2 Combo that had 1cluster of Dungeness crab (un upgraded item), 1 pound of shrimp without the head (additional cost), 1 pound of mussels, 1 corn, 2 boiled eggs, and 4 pieces of sausage with the House Sauce . There was so much food that had to take most of it home. It was delicious . Even though I was pretty full, I saved room for the complimentary birthday macaron ice cream sandwich that I received because it was my birthday and I followed them on IG. On the weekend afternoons we've visited, there's only been a 10-15 minute wait, if any. We typically split their Signature #2 with lobster tail, shrimp (head on), and crawfish, then their House Special Sauce (mild). So. Much. Shellfish. I like to grab a side of rice to soak up the sauce :P Their sauce is probably one of the best that we've tried so far-- super savory, rich, and flavorful. The staff are super friendly even during the lunch/dinner rush!
