The interior is great! Well decorated, and a lot of fun. They even have TVs that show sports. I'm not from the area, but had some errands to do here and thought garlicy, spicy, saucy seafood would be the right move! garlic noodles: I think the garlic flavor is there if you think about it. However, the noodle texture is so light and airy, that it didn't actually end up tasting like anything (so hard to describe...). I think it would better serve the noodles if they were slightly thicker or less curly--something to hold the flavor more. Couldn't finish it, wouldn't order again. Curly fries: well fried, crispy outside, well-seasoned Calamari: first cajun place I've seen that includes the legs! Tongue on fire sauce: got this with clams. Tongue was not on fire at all. Spice-intolerant friend was able to chop this up, which should not be the case. The medium spice sauce seemed a bit more runny, but the overall flavors of the sauces were really great. Lastly, when eating cajun, I'm used to the food being completely covered in the sauce. I smushed around my bag, but when I dumped out my clams, there were a handful that still weren't coated in the sauce. There's something about getting the sauce evenly all over before being handed the bag instead of having to vigorously and thoroughly shake and smush the bag yourself. But that's just my personal preference. Service was kind and quick! Vibes are like local hustle and bustle; loud, but you can still hear the people you're eating with.
Aug 14. 2026 4 stars The Combo #2 and order of garlic noodles was a perfect size for a 230 lb man and two hungry women. Everyone agreed the seafood was delicious and fresh tasting. The garlic noodles were a hit. The food is like a perpetual motion machine. You get hungrier the more you eat. The Po' boy sandwich got a thumbs down from my son. He felt the large bread amount and it's dry texture overpowered the other sandwich ingredients. A large amount of water pooled on the floor in the back of the restaurant while we were dining necessitating what sounded like a shop vac to pick up the water. Too noisy but Accidents happen. There was an Open During Construction sign outside. Rebecca our server was pleasant and attentive. She is a keeper. The bus person cleaning the behind us toward the front door table was chewing on something. She paused her duties for a moment, staring off into space in my direction. Eating while on duty and not on break in front of customers is unprofessional. I tried to make eye contact with her out of curiosity if the chewing would stop when our eyes met. Alas my experiment failed. Something above my head and to the rear of the establishment was more interesting. Maybe some of that water pooling action was still happening. The Men's restroom stall is heavily grafittied. I wish I could think of advice for restaurant owners who suffer this scourge. Perhaps paint the stall inside a solid color and have a can of spray paint on hand? When you pay using the notepad computer the waitress carries, you need to sign on the screen before you hand over your credit card. That is odd. There should be a button on the "Tip screen" for those who want to "Cash Tip" They have a decent draft beer selection which I hope to enjoy on our next visit.
First of all the place was really nice, it was clean and the vibe was really calm. Exactly what I needed for the day I've been having. The servers were very nice and the manager gave us complementary fries. 10/10 recommend, if you're in Concord, definitely stop by for some seafood boil.
HOT TAKE: Cajun Crack'n (the Concord location at least) is just as good, if not better, than The Boiling Crab. I know that a lot of people reading this review are looking for a comparison between the restaurants. Usually, others are split on this opinion when I mention it. So here's my why. The seafood menu selection is the same as most crab boil spots. I ordered the deveined/headless shrimp on my last visit. The spicy sauce was def spicy! Shrimp was cooked perfectly, not overcooked like I've had at other places. They give a generous portion of sauce, which is necessary to pour over some white rice! The appetizer selection at Cajun Crack'n is elite! The fried oysters are my favorite! I've also had the wings, fried mozzarella and Crawfish fried rice. All delicious choices! Can't wait for my next visit!
Ordered the Special Combo #1 with the House Special Sauce at medium, and overall it was really good. The combo had a nice variety with shrimp, crab legs, sausage, corn, potatoes, and egg, and everything was cooked well. The house special sauce was buttery, garlicky, flavorful, and the medium spice level had just the right amount of heat without being too much. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sauce was a little on the salty side. It was still delicious, but after a while the saltiness started to stand out. If they dialed that back just a bit, it'd be even better. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Good portions, great flavor, and a solid spot when you're craving a seafood boil.
Food delicious Service was good Ambiance was nice First time here. We've been to another place similar but in San Jose. Now that we've been here no need to drive so far away. We definitely will be going back to this spot. And bringing friends and family.
We found this place via Google search. My wife and I were so excited because it is a new seafood boil spot for us lol. We walked in and waited about 5 mins for a table to get cleaned off. No real wait time was amazing. Our waitress was Elizabeth. She was super nice. We ordered a pitcher of beer and cold glasses. However, the glasses were not really cold. We sent them back and received better ones. For food, we ordered lemon pepper wings. They were crispy, but definitely lacked the lemon pepper taste. I was a little disappointed with them. Next came our food. We ordered #2 (Mild) with four eggs and rice. However, when the eggs arrived... they looked disgusting. They had all this stiff on them and they came in a separate bag.. so this made no sense. I sent them back and requested clean and fresh eggs. We'll.. the seafood made up for those weak areas listed prior. It was delicious!!! No complaints at all! Our waitress disappeared for some time without informing us that she would be gone. I did not like that. At the end, they have us 2 new beverages that they were soft launching to try. We enjoyed them. Overall, we will will return to this spot to give it another chance.
**Sardar I don't know if management appreciates you but Your kindness is not taught! You either have it or you don't. So I salute and acknowledge your excellence in customer service. Customer service-Sardar who was our server showed excellent customer service. He Checked on us during our meal and didn't have us letting a long time to take our order. He also gave us the new drinks that they are promoting. The Popping Boba Mango and Peach drink is delicious. Ambiance-The ambience is for date nights, happy hours, lunch, and it's kid friendly. Food-Was delicious. It was a lot. We got Combo #2 with spice level at Medium. That was the perfect spice level if you love spicy. Also, let's talk about them wings. Them Cajun wings was hella good. I was skeptical of that flavor at first but I'm glad I love trying new things and getting out my comfort Zone. Thank you Sardar for the recommendation. Overall food was good and Sardar made the experience even more amazing.
Service was very attentive, even on a very busy Mother's Day evening. Ambiance was very nice: bright, clean, huge. Not too many corn/sausages/potatoes -- sometimes some restaurants have too much of these. The mussels and clams were quite tasty too. The end at the bottom the sauce was quite flavorful, a bit too salty for me but with rice it was just right. The snow crab legs and crawfish were really good. Ordered combo #3 and signature #1: both were very good. Would order mild instead of medium next time. Will come again.
First time dining here with my family. Came here to celebrate Mother's day. Not too busy to my surprise. Lots of customers ordered take out this evening and for some reason that caused a massive backlog on the dine in customer orders. It was a very long wait until we got our food served. Despite the busy evening and likely frustrating dine-in customers, the servers were all very patient and still worked professionally attending to the dine-in customers with a smile. Great job! The seafood was fresh - mussels, clams, snow crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish. Very good quality. The sauce was slightly on the salty side so reducing the salt might be something to consider in the future.
This place is by far one of the better seafood boil places in the area. We called in our order for pick up, person taking the order was nice and our food was ready in 20 minutes! Picking up the food was quick, you just walk in past the host stand to the cashier across from the live seafood. The restaurant was super busy, updated interior, and loud edm music to make you eat faster The shrimp, king crab legs, and muscles did not disappoint. Their house sauce was really good yet similar to other places I've been (not a bad thing). The only item that was very underwhelming were the garlic noodles. It was just chicken top ramen noodles with garlic sprinkled on top, pretty disappointed with it tbh (hence the 4 star review). I'd be back forsure! Just won't get the garlic noodles
I've been coming here for years, even had my birthday dinner here a couple times. This is hands down one of the best seafood boil places around and is definitely worth the drive. I'm finally taking the time to leave another review because not only the food is always amazing, but I also want to recognize Lisa for her A+ service. She is so attentive, super friendly, and always makes us feel welcome. She truly goes above and beyond, and that kind of service deserves to be recognized! Thank you, Lisa, for always making our visits extra special!
Located inside the Willow Shopping Center, there's ample parking. Restaurant was about 90% full, and the service was a bit slow. But once we ordered, the food did come quickly. For apps, give the garlic noodles and fried pickle a try. The various baskets are not cheap, but the quality is there and very tasty best paired with beer. We tried their lobster, shrimp and crawfish but I think next time we'll go for the clams instead of the crawfish. The potatoes was so-so, and the corn was one of our favorites. Our waiter was bouncing around the entire area, so drink refills, napkins, etc. took longer than desire, but he tried.

We had an amazing experience at Cajun Crack'n Concord! Our server, Sardar, was amazing and made our visit even better. Great service makes such a difference, and we really appreciated him. The food was delicious--some of the best Cajun food we've ever had! We really enjoyed our meal, and the combination of good food and excellent service made this a five-star experience. As a seafood boil lover, this is definitely my favorite spot ever! I particularly enjoy their mixture of sauces over other restaurants, as well as their flavorful mango lemonade. As far as service, I came in around 1pm on a Wednesday and received my meal in less than 10 minutes! I was pleasantly surprised and joyful given I was starving. If you come in on the weekends where it's a bit busier, long times will be longer as expected. Our server whom I didn't get to catch the name of, was kind and checked in with us about needing anything else just the right amount of times! When I asked for more lemon, another worker happily brought them over whereas in other locations, they might not do it with the best attitude. Their lemon pepper fries weren't my favorite as I've had better but still tasty and worth satisfying an intense craving for them. Can't wait to come back! read more

Saturday night, took advantage of the Yelp waitlist so by the time we arrived, our table was ready. Started with sweet potato fries, which were really good. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Had the whole Dungeness crab boil with both head-on and deveined shrimp. Flavors were good and fresh. Place was pretty busy but service pretty quick. Definitely on my list for seafood boil. read more

My #1 favorite go-to place to get seafood boil in the East Bay! They're fairly consistent-- sometimes cajun food restaurants overcook their food, lack amounts of sauce etc but Cajun Crack'n does a great job never missing and always fulfilling my craving. I probably go here once a month because it's so hard to stay away but we listen and we don't judge lol. Ppl say they don't get crawfish cuz it's so much work for so little meat, but their crawfish is a pretty decent size actually. I get it every time + sausages! read more

Don't knock it till you try it they say , well I tried it and I'm knocking it . Dine in review let's get into it . It's Friday night so it was busy as expected but just two of us so we sat bar side . It was loud but big inside . Our waiter was super polite and nice even tho he was moving around a lot , still he was attentive to us . We kept it simple . Gumbo soup with rice , dozen raw oysters and fried oysters . Gumbo soup tasted like canned soup and was cold . We asked to be accommodated and he offered we try the Cajun chowder . Even worse . He kindly took it off our order . The fried oysters were bland . Tasted literally like oysters and flower no flavor no spice . The only thing good and fresh were the raw oysters . I probably wouldn't come back here again . Only for raw oysters . Everything else lacks flavor or love in it . read more

We usually go to a different place for crab boils but decided to try this place. Super cute on the inside and we were seated quickly. The oysters are amazing!! Finally know a good oyster bar yummy!! The boils were well seasoned and absolutely delicious!! Our server Cyril he was super nice patient, amazing service!! Hands down will come back because of Cyril. read more
The front of the restaurant is under construction, but once you walk in is super nice :) the restaurant is very spacious, clean and we didn't have to wait to be seated. I had the $34.95 special, a site of steam rice and garlic bread it was so good as soon as you get there they bring you lemons, and a plastic bib, if you haven't been there they explain you how to order. Once they bring your food they bring a bucket for your garbage. Our waitress was June she was very nice, she checked on us a few times to make sure we didn't anything. There's parking right outside. read more
Had the Shrimp Po Boy and cup of Gumbo. The Po Boy was ok. I had to drench it in cocktail sauce. Gumbo was different from what I'm used to. Had carrots in it and smelled more like Minestrone than Gumbo. Found one little cut up piece of Shrimp. My family said their seafood boils were ok, but nothing special. I'm a boiling crab fan, so I get skeptical when trying out different seafood boil places, but so happy I tried this place out. The seafood was not overcooked and the flavor was delicious. I would suggest getting the garlic noods as a side, pairs really well with the shrimps. Was also pleasantly surprised with the frozen crawdads, very tasty. Great customer service to top it all off. read more

My husband and I came here for dinner and tried the all-you-can-eat option. Unless you plan to eat more than two full bags of seafood, it's probably more economical to order à la carte. My husband finished three bags, so it was worth it for him, but next time I'll stick to à la carte. We ordered the original seasoning with crab, shrimp, clams, sausage, potatoes, and corn. Everything was delicious, the seafood was great quality, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The king crab legs were a standout. The garlic noodles, however, were just okay, and I probably wouldn't get them again. Be ready to get messy and dress accordingly! Service was great: the servers were fun, kind, and despite it being super busy, the food came out quickly. The ambiance is casual with a sports-bar vibe and games playing on the TVs. Came here for my bday dinner and they for sure made it special! I did not expect them to sing happy birthday or bring be dessert via robot delivery with an LED HBD sign it was so cute The food was delicious & dare I saw best seafood boil in the bay. Okaaaay the hype is very real! Bringing me back to my days of getting in line at Boiling Crab in Sac or SJ and feeling better because I only need to travel to Concord now. Cajun Crack'n was definitely crackin' on a Thursday evening. There was a line just to get on the Yelp waitlist. Tip- get on it ahead of time on your phone and you'll get seated faster. Space is huge, brightly lit with vibrant signs and lots of seating. Service was great, menu was organized and had a ton of options. We got the mild house combo sauce with the deveined shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn; fried catfish, mac and cheese (for toddler), Cajun and sweet potato fries, garlic noodles, and rice. DAMN- flavor explosion! SO so good we were dipping everything in that sauce. I'd recommend everything we ordered- my go-tos are the shrimp, catfish, and garlic noodz! There are lemons, gloves, food baskets, napkins, bibs, water provided. Prepare for a food coma and Cajun burps after. Will definitely be back! read more

One of my favorite go to seafood boil spots! I ordered a combo #1 with seasonal crawfish, head off shrimp, and clams. Very delicious, the boils aren't super oily like most boil spots. It actually taste like real butter! Their happy hour is always the best too. Half off apps, so i decided to get some oysters that were $2.50 each during happy hour (min 3) But they come in 3,6,12. The service was just okay.. we came here on a weekday around 3pm and it seemed like there weren't enough workers. Our wings didn't come out until after our boils came, and our drinks followed not long behind. Thats the only downside from that visit, the items we were supposed to receive first came last. The ambience was nicee, you can see the fresh lobster and crab in the tanks! Cute decorations. Will 100% be back. read more

For the seafood boil we got all the sauce flavors mixed, and it was amazing. Staff was nice as well, there's indoor seating, but it was pretty busy so you might have to wait if you don't have a reservation read more

I stopped in here solo while on a business trip since the rest of my coworkers hadn't made it into town yet, and quickly realized this is not a solo dining portion size. The servings are huge, and I definitely could've used some help finishing everything! I will say, there was a bit of a wait to get seated, despite the restaurant being very empty. It felt a little disorganized, people who walked in after me (no reservation) were getting seated before me, and it seemed like there was some confusion around staff breaks or sections. But once I was seated (about a 10-minute wait), everything turned around. I ordered the seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp, and mussels, plus a side of garlic bread. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick without overpowering it. I kept it simple with water so I could fully commit to the feast (and I'm glad I did because there was a lot of food). If you're coming here, definitely bring friends or come hungry! I don't trust many boil places, but Cajun Crack'n is one I'd trust! It was my first time here. their boil with House Special Sauce and it was yummy! Garlicky, buttery, and savory. The Cajun curly fries were good, but rice is still the best side to go with seafood boil in my opinion. We got their Combo #1 which is really worth the price! I felt like the 3 lbs of seafood (specifically shrimp because that's what I got) was enough for 3! For 2 people, there were still leftovers! Service was just okay. And the inside was spacious and clean! Definitely will come back if I ever crave some seafood boil! read more
